The sounds of metal can be heard clicking and clanking together behind the large dark oak door. Nobody knew what was going on within the chambers of NIKOLAI GOGOL , nobody dared to disturb the ringmaster and ask, fearing that they would find out something sinister. They would be right.

Everyone in the Decay of Angels knew that Nikolai had his weird "quirks". Everyone knew Nikolai was unpredictable and was only seconds away from snapping, but nobody knew the extent of it. Loud munching sounds can be heard upon walking closer to the large door. If anyone dared to rake a peak on the inside they would be met with a stomach churning sight.

Blood. Lots of blood painted the carpeted floors , a human heart was sat on a silver platter , intestines sprawled out onto the floor in a heep and the person behind the gory mess was non other than Nikolai himself. Blood stained his once pristine clothing , bits of gore littered his face as he chowed down on the flesh that once belonged to his beloved. You.

Nikolai loved you dearly. He was always doting on you. Always spoiling you with gifts befitting royalty. You were no stranger to Nikolai ' s odd tendencies. You had grown accustomed to them. So you didn't bat an eye when Nikolai told you that he was going to eat you. You figured it was just him being playful. Oh how wrong you were...

Again please stop reading if you are easily creeped out by gore ! This section of the story is easily more graphic than the first section. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Your eyes blown wide in shock as you felt something sharp pierce the flesh of your stomach. You quickly looked to see who the perpetrator of your assassination was and to your surprise it was non other than your loving husband. Nikolai. He didn't wear his usual bright smile that was filled with mischief. No, he wore a rather solemn expression as he feasted on your flesh.

Shock , horror , terror were all words you would use to describe your unfortunate fate. In no world did you think that your husband would ever tear you apart in such a way.

୨ৎ " Koyla . . . Koyla ! What are you doing ?! Stop this ! Release me ! "

You demanded , exasperated. You were scared , hurt and terrified at what was happening you felt..betrayed.

୨ৎ " Be still my dove , I am not happy with this outcome either but it is the only way. Please try not to scream too much . . . "

Nikolai murmured into your ear as he drove the knife deeper into your flesh cutting down and successfully cutting you open. You writhed and howled in agony. The stinging sensation of the knife and the feeling of it slicing you open hurts , but the feeling of being betrayed by the one you swore your undying devotion to hurt the most. In a desperate last attempt you tried to pry Nikolai ' s knife clutched hand out of your stomach begging him to relent his hold and to set you free.

What felt like hours was only minutes of you struggling, however that didn't seem to last long as your struggling began to come to a halt. The amount of untreated blood loss began to catch up with you. You took your last breath as Nikolai stood over your still warm corpse with an unreadable expression on his face. Slowly but carefully he removed the bloodied knife from your limp body. He brought the knife to his lips and licked up a bit of.

Tears streamed down the ringmasters face as he had done the taboo action. A water wave of tears began to flow freely down his smooth pale cheeks as he leaned down closer to your now cold body and began to dine on your flesh , but not before carefully placing your heart on a silver plate. . .

Nikolai is a man with a clear set of goals , he is also a man who does not let anyone or anything prevent him from achieving his goals. He has shown time and time again that he will do anything to achieve his goals.

So it ' s hard to imagine Nikolai with anyone due to him craving freedom, and even if he were to get with anyone we can ' t believe that they would last long. Nikolai has shown that he is perfectly capable of attempting to off the person he considers his best friend, and the person who he claims that understood him.

However, if Nikolai were to actually settle down with anyone it would have to be when he has decided that he want ' s to settle down it would most likely be when the Decay of Angel ' s have officially dispands and he has no where else to go.

I believe that if Nikolai were to fall in love with anyone it would be someone who understands and accepts him the way he is. Nikolai would not be so willing to accept that he is tied down so quickly. It would take quite a bit of time for him to finally understand that he can no longer go out and flirt and toy with whatever maiden that catches his attention, less he wants the one who cares about him the most to leave him all alone.

Nikolai would definitely have urges of freeing himself from the cage he has willingly put himself in, craving that freedom he once had when he was a part of the DOA, but he doesn't. Nikolai has come to love your understanding personality and your sweet innocence. He has come to enjoy the way you comfort and can seem to understand how he is feeling even without him saying anything. You make him feel seen and heard. You give him hope that he could finally come to understand himself.

Throwing this on the table now, Nikolai does not believe that sex is the most intimate way to show your loved ones your love and affection, No he believes cannibalism is the ultimate way. The idea of eating your loved ones and having a piece or all of them a part of your body is something that Nikolai finds most romantic. Absolutely lets you know that if you were to die before him (for some mysterious reason) that he would never allow anyone to bury or cremate you, but instead he would eat your body so you both could be one for all of eternity.
