Switching my language from “Israel is detaining Palestinians in the West Bank” to “Israel is abducting Palestinians in the West Bank” because that’s actually what’s happening. They are not detainees. They are hostages. Innocent Palestinians get taken from their homes randomly, held up in detention centers indefinitely, and subjected to the cruelest conditions on no basis other than “you might do something bad in the future, so we have a right to imprison you.” This is what Israel calls administrative detention—and through it they have managed to get away with kidnapping hundreds of innocent Palestinians.

Hi all, another fundraiser. This is for Haya and her family. I’ll put some of what she wrote below but before that I’d love to point out that this fundraiser is in Canadian dollars. Speaking of coffee, Haya’s family had a coffee business before the start of the aggression. She went to business school with the hopes of supporting her family and expanding the business. But because of the bombing, they lost everything. She is trying to escape with her mother, father, and two siblings, as well as treat her mother’s rheumatoid arthritis and get her sister back into school to finish her education.

Anything you can give helps, and if you can’t give, sharing goes so far. Please reblog, signal boost, do any of the things to help this family. They are in Rafah right now with the bombing, and need all the help they can get

The organizer of this gofundme is only 14 years old, and trying to save her family of 6. She is trying to evacuate herself, her mother, father, brother Khaled (10 years old), sister Reem (6 years old), and her little sister Sarah (4 years old).

I can’t imagine being 14 years old and in this position, trying to save your entire family. They’ve only raised €375 euros of their €27,500 goal, so there is more to get. But every donation counts, even if it’s just €5, to show her support and that there are people there who want to help.
