honestly my favorite bishop depends on what day it is, but if I couldn't say shamura is my overall big fave, 10000% it would be heket. I feel like she'd overwork herself taking care of the other siblings, who've come to just expect her to do the brunt of the work and stopped saying "thank you" forever ago. Meanwhile she has the least amount of time for her own cult, and has to catch up a LOT to make sure followers don't dissent left and right. So she kinda forgets someone could take a moment to appreciate her without expecting something in return.

Also I have NO idea how leshy's packages would end up in anura instead of darkwood but I feel like he'd manage to make it happen...

This part got rewrote the absolute most, the last four panels had a lot more actual dialogue but honestly speaking from personal experience, this is more of a "lay down and scream until no more sound comes out" situation. I don't think the other two have processed the schism like at all because they're busy trying to keep shamura alive, so there's no room to really mourn what everybody lost when they're at risk of losing someone else. UNTIL the baby brother collapses on the floor sobbing, cause like what big sibling ISN'T gonna comfort him but have a lil cry of their own as well

I have a kind of sequel to this in the works but I'm gonna have to hype myself up for it because while it's supposed to be a happy/bittersweet moment, it's another deeply personal one and I can only handle one of these every once in a while :') But if you read this far, thank you, every comment/rb I got for this comic I read really helped me stay motivated long enough to finish this. I appreciate the messages I got offering condolences or asking if I'm okay, I didn't respond only because I don't want to overshare (y'all KNOW how much I type..) but this dumb angst comic really did help me process some stuff. I'm okay!
