Any other fanfic writers out there do this?

Me: Updates Story "Ah, yes. Finally updated. I hope my readers enjoy this nearly 20k word chapter!" Two minutes later: "Why are there no reviews yet?!"

My brain somehow needs reminding every time I update that no, my readers cannot get through 20k words in ten minutes, so obviously there won't be any comments yet.

So I started teaching myself how to draw eyes a few years ago. I don't think I ever posted the results, so I'll start posting them over the course of a few days or weeks (depending on how often I remember to do so)

kicking things off with Yatir, my Breath of the Wild Sheikah OC, who also serves as Link's best friend!

Writing Problems

I think one of the most intimidating things with writing, is staring at the blank page of a new chapter, knowing that the chapter that preludes it is one of the best, most satisfying pieces of writing you've ever put out there, and then realizing you somehow have to put that same quality out there again.

Just wondering, any plans to go back to Swan Dive in the near future?

Hello! Swan Dive was one of my first bnha fics, and by far one of my most popular! I have every intention of eventually going back to it, but as far as my Bnha works go, Viridian will take precedence (especially since I have the major plot points of that one worked out. I'm just winging Swan Dive).

So I realized that I probably forgot to post this. 😂

As many of you probably know, I've got some Zelda stories that I write, and I have a tendency to nickname many of my 'Unique Wilds' (as I call them).

Aetherius is the Wild from the story Soul of Steel, along with its sequels. The series itself is called 'Steelverse', namely because it's a series with three planned 'book 2's and several spinoffs.

Well, one of those 'sequel's (and that's in quotes because each sequel is an alternate pathway that Aetherius can take branching from a choice he makes at the end of Book 1) is called Blade of the Blood Moon. In it, he swears allegiance to Calamity Ganon (who is surprisingly sane this time).

Ganon, as thanks for his loyalty and a form of protection, gifts him a rather demonic looking sword.

Long story short, I decided to design and draw the sword myself! Hence this wicked looking blade you see here. You.... probably wouldn't want to wield that unless you could harden your skin to steel like Aetherius. 😂😂😂 This blade's got a lot of sharp pointy parts.

By the way, Blade of the Blood Moon's Aetherius is different enough from the other versions of Aetherius that this Unique Wild gets his own nickname—Vizier.

Summary:

At 6, Link visits Castle Town for the first time and meets some strange men in the woods. At 12, Link pulls the Master Sword and sees his imaginary friends again. At 14, Link is appointed as the Princess’s personal guard and is grateful to have old friends on his side. At 16, the Calamity strikes, and Link has never felt more alone. At 16, Link dies.

At 117, Link defeats evil incarnate and saves Hyrule. At 117, Link meets eight peculiar heroes for the first time. Or, at least, what he believes is the first time.

Twilight thinks the Goddess Hylia has a cruel sense of humor and needs to leave his cub alone.

Experimental Equations, Or The One Where Wild Uses Glitches by @aiden-png

Summary:

“It’s called a wall clip. No idea how it works, but if I shield surf at just the right moment while jumping towards a wall I can pass through it.” Wild explained, before a haunted look replaced the grin. “Or get stuck inside. That’s not very pleasant.” Twilight didn’t want to know. --- The group ends up in Wild's Hyrule and Flora shows up with some "experiments" she wants to perform. Cue Wild using glitches and Twilight losing his mind.

Summary:

"Well, Wild? This is your Hyrule. Have you figured out why we're here?" Time asked. "Yeah." Wild swallowed thickly, forcing bile down his throat. "Well?" Legend raised an impatient eyebrow, and Wild turned away. How was he going to explain this? He'd told them virtually nothing of his journey. How was he supposed to convey how terrible this situation was? That the Blights had been revived. "Come on. We're heading towards Zora's Domain."

A gang-meets-Wild fic with an actual plot (I think). Featuring a Wild who's a tad more secretive about his journey.

Linked Universe belongs to Jojo, and I'm just a fan. :3

Not In My Wildest Nightmares by DreadSpark

Summary:

After Wild recklessly rushes into a fight and takes a major injury, the others are left wondering just what in Hylia's name this kid is thinking. Time is left wishing for some sort of divine insight...

...but if this is Hylia's idea of a joke, then none of the Chain are laughing.

Alt: The Chain get to sit down and experience Wild's Captured Memories from Breath of the Wild. It goes about as well as can be expected.

Current plan is just to follow the BotW Captured Memories for now, but may expand into original content if I can come up with anything.

Hey, sorry to bother you with this question. But are you ever going to update your hetalia fics. I loved them. you introduced me to a new Italy than I was used to. And I just can't sleep at night, not knowing how they're finished. You are a great writer, too. The only reason I'm trying to write stories of my own. You inspired me with them, and I'm planning on trying your other works outside of hetalia, but I just keep thinking of you as Hetalia person in my head, and I'm sorry for thinking like that. Hetalia was the first kind of fic I read from you, and now that's all I think about. Sorry for the rant, but again are going to update your hetalia fics. Hello Anonymous! No need to apologize, Hetalia was my first fandom and it will always hold a very special place in my heart. The sad and wonderful truth is, my writing has drastically improved from my Hetalia days. As such, I'm working on some rewrites. My first plan of action with the Hetalia fandom, is to rewrite my first ever fanfiction, HetaOni: Italy's Story. I've got more than 20k words down so far, though it's only a few chapters in. Either way, it's the first of several.

If I were to complete the ones I have up, I fear the abrupt shift in the writing style and quality would be too severe and take away from the story enjoyment. This is why I plan to rewrite many of my original Hetalia works. I've even got a few crossovers I've toyed with lately (like a Hetalia/HP crossover, or a Hetalia/BnHA crossover).

I hope you (and many others) look forward to them when they're published! The HetaOni one might take a while, because I hope to finish writing it before posting (something I've never had the patience to do before). Wish me luck!

Hello! I wanted to start this off by saying I love your work! It’s so amazing and I’m absolutely obsessed with your Hero’s Spirit fic, the world building and character development blows me away every time I read it (which has been quite a few times, and there will inevitably be more) I was curious though: in the Hero’s Spirit universe, what’s your take on poes? I mean, if link ever encountered one (in his hyrule, or someone else’s) what would that be like. Are they just evil spirits or more like vengeful ghosts? I could be completely out of the loop here and missing some huge piece of lore or just basic zelda fact (and if you’ve already answered something like this somewhere and I missed it, I’m sorry for repeating!) , but I can’t stop thinking about link’s interactions with other characters, particularly those of the ghostly variety (I love your take on the champions). Then I got to thinking… what if poes were actual ghosts that link could talk too? And how would that affect his relationship with the other links(if linked universe) or just his perception of things in general? I don’t know.

But anyway, I’m just curious. Your work is greatly appreciated! Have a nice day!

You probably asked this question ages ago, but considering I've started working on Echoes in Time recently—the second book in the Hero's Spirit series—I thought it'd be fun to answer a little.

I absolutely will!! :D I also really love the concept of Not A Damsel, and have the basic outline done through LU. Wooo!!

That doesn't mean I'm not struggling to figure out how to handle the whole monster/mythos situation, though. I can't decide if I want Phoenix (my nickname for this Link) to actually find out about mythos culture like Wild does, or if she just remains rather unaware and treats them like monsters.

Hi, don't worry about responding if you don't want to!!! I've just been reading A Hero's Spirit for the last few days, and I'm devestated I can't see the images/fanart/maps you originally put in there. If you still have them, or at least a way to show them, I'd be so so happy! I've been doodling a lot of LoZ stuff for the past few months, and I'd love to doodle A Hero's Spirit specific stuff while I (mourn the fact I've read it all) emotionally recover from the absolutely amazing journey. I hope this isn't annoying, and that you have a lovely day.

Hello. I just wanted to ask when your going to continue your "memories of old" Hetalia fan fiction since it's been quiet a while and you said you would never abandon a story.

So. I've been writing a lot for the Gerudo lately in my Zelda stories, and a while back I created these carnivorous camels that the Gerudo people ride. They're utterly MASSIVE creatures with claws that hook together to prevent sinking in the sand.

Since I've been drawing things lately, I decided to give it a gander, and lo and behold, I drew one! Meet Jakul—Urbosa's noble steed. He's a bit fiesty, and a few hands larger than most other camels, but he's unfailingly loyal to Urbosa.

this is a reference to his size. Mind you, Jakul is bigger than most camels, and females are usually smaller than males in this case (though both have horns).

The Gerudo often bedazzle the horns of their camels both for fun and protection (because gemstones have powers in botw and totk) and a show of wealth.

For most camels, Urbosa would come up to the withers properly. Like I said—Jakul is a giant among giants.

I do plan to eventually revisit my Hetalia fics. I also plan to work on some original stories and publish them! Perhaps one day you might even see one inspired by the HetaOni Mansion...
