I should be working on Art Fight stuff, but the fandom brainrot has hit me so instead I'm drawing... A two page comic for a fanfiction I'm enjoying, which like... Yeah I'm doing an awesome job I think it looks cool as fuck but that is not what I'm meant to be productive on!!

(I'm also cleaning my apartment, which is an appropriate use of my productive time. I have a con soon, and two overnight guests due to that, and like... My apartment has to be livable for other people.)

Me explaining being a furry to people like "yeah you have to understand it's a way of exploring your self identity through the lens of a fictional version of a real animal. The furry community as a whole does, in fact, understand that physically we're human* but manifesting this identity, whether like our primary identity or one completely different to who you are in real life, can help you explore your self, who you are, who you want to be, on top of being an outlet for creativity. So it's not really that weird at all, it's like a celebrity or artist having a persona, an avatar that they choose to interact with the world with... not me though I wish I had feathers and a tail in real life."
