In a lot of respects beginning of season 2 Wille is my fave.

The boy who systematically pulled Augusts life apart without hesitating or any hint of anxiety.

A little bit because - whilst a dick move in a lot of ways - it was bad ass.

But also because it shows that Wille had the capacity to be just like them. To manipulate and pull his weight and throw his title around. He COULD be what the queen wants him to be.

But, by and large, he chooses not to be.

simon is geniunely so captivating, like i cant stop looking at him when hes on screen, hes just so pretty i cant get over it

oh i absolutely adore this observation, and i think its accurate too even when the s3 hallway scene!! theres no fixation on the curtains anymore, and they kiss in front of the window, the sunset is such a big part of the scene, and the general blue/dark coloration of willes room is replaced by orange and softer tones.

i think we did see more because they didnt need to hide anymore, not just that, but wille also felt confident, because we see way more in s3 than we do in s1!

Migraine Me realised that we as the viewer get to see so much for Wilmon's first time in S1 because the curtains were open, it was filmed and leaked to the public.

In Simon's room we see until Simon puts on the game noise.

In S2 we only see until Wille closes the curtains.

And in S3 they make out in the hallway because they don't have to hide anymore. (And yes we see flashes from the rest of the scene which for this argument falls a bit out of line, but might also just prove the point.)

I’ve had this headcanon for a while that whenever Simon does his little balance thing along the edge of something he becomes completely preoccupied with it, and Wilhelm finds it to be extremely adorable. So he’ll stay on the ground to hold Simon’s hand and help him balance, all while looking at Simon with the most lovesick expression on his face. Which Simon always misses because he’s looking down at his feet 🥹
