you have to be able to defend people who are receiving unjust treatment even if they annoy you even if you personally find them extremely annoying you still have to be able to stand up and say "well thats fucked up"

<3 sending you love, I hope things will get better! for distractions, I know in at least one story of yours you mention techno growing roses, do you think c!techno and/or c!Dream have any other hobbies? Do they pick up any interests from the other? I imagine Techno as a big reader, but I’m not sure what exactly his tastes would be. Probably some nonfiction books about gardening or animal care at least. (Feel free to describe c!Dream in an au if it’s hard to imagine he has hobbies in canon ;p haha) -dreamerlynx / formerly shy anon

i like to think c!techno has pretty wide interests when it comes to reading! definitely some non-fiction not just about gardening and animal care but also history of warfare, etc. then when it comes to fiction, i think he likes epic stories, y'know? he mentions ancient greek stories a few times so he probably reads things like that!

he's definitely a knitter, though. that's always been a huge headcanon for me! i also think he does have some musical inclinations and plays the violin on occasion!

for c!dream, i think at first he's also a reader! after the prison, while he's healing, i think he probably begins reading quite a bit. he reads basically anything that techno has on hand but definitely prefers the fiction stories. then maybe he tries his hand at writing his own stories!

honestly, i feel like dream would often see someone else doing something - gardening, cooking, etc. - and give it a try. very much one of those things where he wants to learn enough to be able to do it but then the adhd kicks in and he moves on.

just a heads up, my oldest is in the hospital. i need to be here for when my youngest comes home from school so. y'know. i'm trying to make sure everything is as normal as possible for them. but i'm going crazy with stress right now so distractions are welcomed. <3

Just imagine diver! Dream going down and trying to take notes on Techno and every idk 3 minutes or so Techno forces him to take air even if Dream doesn't need to just bc he doesn't want him to drown and, no he isn't letting Dream show him how long he can stay underwater

he absolutely would if c!dream was free diving! he'd try to play it off like he's not really worried but humans are weird so you can't be too careful, y'know.

i also like the idea of whale shark mer c!techno coming to the surface and lazily floating while dream sits on him and they chat. dream probably has a million questions and techno probably has a million stories to tell.
