You came back from the pack house and it was 1 week later till school started on the 11th of January. You were waiting to be picked up by Jungkook who said he’d walk you to school from now on, which you thought was cute. Stuck in your thoughts the sound of the doorbell, snapped you out of them. You rushed out of the living room to open the door and you found your mate smiling at you. You hugged him tight, whilst he gave you a kiss on your forehead leaning down to join your lips together.

You grabbed your bag from nearby and put on your shoes before you walked outside and closed the door. You held Jungkook hand and you guys walked to school together. You met with the girls and boys at the entrance, and you went in before heading to your lockers.

It was all normal in the morning sessions, you and Jungkook had lesson together, but nobody thought that you and the basketball heartthrob were dating since your affectionate since your PDA was normal in public, nobody got the idea that you were together let alone for life and that causes problems…

You were waiting in the sports hall for a term meeting, you were talking to the girls when Lisa nudged you and motioned you to look behind that’s when the other girl class came and you all sat in your classes in single file. You waited until you heard the girls whispering excitedly before turning to the entrance door you looked over and saw the 2 other boy classes come in, you saw the boys in the crowd you smiled and waved to them in greeting they gave you a wave, Jungkook smiling at you. The boys sat in a single file lines waiting next to you looking at the teachers.

Once the teachers commanded silence they explained that for the rest of the two terms, you had to do your ‘lesson’ planning in your theory lessons for some primary school kids this would be part of your coursework and that it was now compulsory to come into lesson again. Whilst that was going on the teachers said that all the classes in the hall would go on a clockwise work every week.

So every week a new sport so that you could come up with ideas for the theory coursework. With that being said this week we are going to allow a mix up of classes and everyone can choose the sport that they want to take. And they could discuss with the people next to you where they want to play.

You and the girls being werewolves moved to the badminton sides after a small discussion with the boys through your mind links so you guys could go together. Once you moved across to the badminton sides you waited until the rest of the sports classes could be dismissed. But the teachers thought that they needed to reduce the badminton class since it was too big and they needed volunteers to go the other classes. Speaking of which you noticed the majority were boys, that weird most of the time badminton was mainly girls.

Schoolkids being schoolkids nobody volunteered, that when the teachers told them to move to the basketball class, since it was quiet (only because it was cold outside nobody wanted to go…at least that was what you thought). When you got told that you were going to the basketball court and that Lisa was coming with you, Jungkook immediately volunteered to go with you and that Taehyung and Jimin could go with them.

When you were leaving to go to the other side the boys who usually didn’t take badminton, wanted to go to your side immediately, the teachers told what’s the fuss and told them some of them could go and not all of them. The most of them looking at you but you being you didn’t noticed, Jungkook did being your mate and all.

Jungkook came and gave you a back hug held you tight around the waist, you got confused at his sudden affection but rested your arms on his arms. ‘What’s wrong?’ you asked quietly.

‘Look over the guys who are making a big fuss about coming here and tell me what do you see?’ you glanced at them, some of them looked restless. But you recognised on of them from the ball… you didn’t think much about it but you looked at your mate, and said ‘I don’t know.’. ‘Those guys are from the football team are friends with Nik. Though they don’t know about werewolves and things from the supernatural. Rumour is that they made a bet with Nik saying, if he can’t get Jeon’s girl we can do it way faster. They think they could hit on you when you were going to go alone to one of the sports and ask you out on the date.’ You grimaced in disgust when you looked at them and they started to make weird gestures, you turned around in Jungkook’s hold to have him let go of you and you got out eventually.

Jungkook looked at you confused and tried to hold you again, but you just laughed and ran away from him and dance away from his hold. Jimin and Taehyung laughed at you and played along with you pushing Jungkook away from you preventing him from reaching you, and you and the girls laughed your asses off.

Eventually he did get a hold you and you were close to him with his arms around your waist. His snuggled into your neck and you giggled at his affection happy, he gave you kisses to your cheek and head before you guys headed away to the basketball courts outside.

It was lunch break and you were headed to the canteen, you were accompanied by Seulgi who was in your business class you were laughing happily at the joke that Seulgi was telling you; ‘And then he was like-’ ‘I am going to ask this beautiful girl out on a date now.’ You turned to the unknown voice, and instantly regretting it. It was one of the boys from PE you think his name was…nevermind you couldn’t care less about him and you turned back to Seulgi before the both of you walked off towards the canteen. ‘Hey, wait up! y/n come on you haven’t even answered my question yet.’ You both were ignoring him till the entrance and you both weaved through the tables with the guy hot on your tail, the boys were on your table with the rest of the girls, you smiled when Jungkook came into view. You manage to get the Jungkook who saw what was going he already got up.

Jungkook glanced behind you and his eyes changed into anger before he got up quickly and held out his arms for you. You widened your eyes at him confused but still ran into his arms anyways and he pulled you into a hug.

Grabbing your legs to wrap around his hips you snuggled into his neck. He held you close possessively before he gently let go of you and pulled you so that you stood behind him, while he glared at the guy, slightly growling at him.

‘What are you trying to do Anthony?’ he asked, ‘Trying to ask her out? Before you came in the picture.’ He said. ‘You can’t.’ Jungkook said. ‘What did you say?’ the guy repeated again.

‘You cannot ask her out!’ he said loudly grabbing the attention of everyone in the canteen. ‘And why is that Jeon? You don’t own her and right now I’ll be the one who own her. Because she is currently dating anyone is she?’ he mockingly said.

‘Because we are already dating you m*therf*cker. And don’t you dare say that she is owned she is her own woman and she doesn’t need protecting! I only need to protect her from dimwits like yourself you bastard!’ Jungkook shouted at him so loudly that all of you flinched, including the guy but he quickly composed himself. ‘Well then proof it. Proof it that you are dating.’ The guy said again.

Jungkook pulled your waist close to his and placed his forehead your hands against his chest against yours. Looking into your eyes for permission, you smiled gently and slightly nodded. He immediately pulled you into a kiss.

Once your lips were on each other you could taste the banana and strawberry from his milkshake you whined gently at the taste you moved your hands caressing over Jungkook’s chest gripping at his shirt. He turned your head gently and deepened the kiss before licking your bottom lip, asking for permission again, you smiled again trying to hide your delight. Kissing him deeply again before opening your mouth and joining your tongues, you swirled them around before you released your mouths.

You ears focused again to your surroundings and you heard your group cheering loudly again and you were shy so you hid your face into Jungkook’s neck. Jungkook chuckled before looking at Anthony who was gobsmacked but blushed before he looked away in embarrassment and walked off in shame. The entire canteen was also shocked but they cheered loudly eventually stopping before going about their business (getting glares from Jungkook and the boys). You leaned away from hiding spot finding Jungkook’s eyes on you, and you became a flustered puddle before you hid yourself again whispering a small ‘I love you.’ kissing his neck in thanks Jungkook smiled before saying ‘Love you too.’

It was 4 days later after the revelation at school. You had just came back home, you invited everyone to your house to have a takeaway for dinner. And I was fun everyone was laughing and smiling. You were happy as well now that you had Jungkook as your boyfriend(according to humans) he was very perfect. He promised you to take you out on dates which he did every weekend. He gave you morning kisses when you woke up, and in return you wore his basketball sweater in return, showing the world that you’re his.

2 weeks later, when school just started 1 week ago, your old parents came home. There names were Mr and Mrs Lee. They were the same and didn’t ask much of you unless you didn’t do any of the chores for the day, they didn’t look at you. But talked in hush tones but stopped every time you came into the room.

You knew they were hiding something from you, you felt this way when they left last year’s end of August to go on some business trip in America. They were meant to come home early during Christmas. But they message you saying they were going to another place in America and was talking about some urgent business partnership. You just agreed and that you were staying at home alone, and that you weren’t doing anything during the holidays apart from visiting friends.

You told all this to Jungkook when you came to school one day, a couple of weeks later during lunch time. You and Jungkook were sitting alone together in the courtyard, having some private time together. Jungkook was worried to say the least and said ‘Well, let me know if something goes badly wrong and you need my help, okay?’ You nodded and focused on your food.

‘Hang on a second that just made me realise…I need to tell you about you to my parents. But I don’t think it would be a good idea to say anything about the werewolf stuff yet.’ You said. ‘I know…Maybe I can reveal everything about us today? I could come later after changing and making myself look presentable.’ Jungkook suggested. You nodded happily that you could reveal yourselves to your parents and you both hoped for it would go well…

You were walking down the path home after saying goodbye to Jungkook, once you entered the house you were going to the kitchen to start making dinner. Before you headed upstairs, you saw a dress laid out on your single bed. A short cold shoulder neckline, light blue with a white floral pattern.

You realised that there were visitors coming to the house, so you quickly changed and made yourself presentable. Once you were downstairs you heard; ‘Y/n dear, come and meet the visitors. Mr and Mrs Jeong.’ you heard Mrs Lee.

You saw Mr and Mrs Lee sitting on the couch closest to you and to your left another man and women sitting on another couch, they were East-Asian, but they had a stoic face, facing away from the window. But just across from where you were standing on the furthest armchair, there was a young man around your age, looking up at you. He was giving you a weird look; but you just ignored it and bowed to the visitors.

‘Hello, my name is Byun y/n.’ you said politely. The older couple nodded and the Lees visibly relaxed and sighed in response. ‘Sit down y/n.’ Mrs Lee told you and you sat down in the closest nearby armchair next to the younger male, who you now realised it was the Jeong’s son.

Then there was a series of questions that the Jeongs were asking however, the young man next to you remained quiet, listening to your every word. Each of the questions made you uncomfortable, but with stares you got from your parents which read ‘behave’ you could only not stutter and answer the questions truthfully. There was one question though that made the hairs stand on your neck.

‘Do you y/n have a boyfriend?’ Mrs Jeong asked. You blinked cautiously, a couple of times thinking that you heard the question incorrectly. You looked at everyone in the room. The Jeong couple waiting patiently for your answer, your parents who gave you glares but your increasing silence, indicated something else.

You finally looked at the young male next to you to your left, who was looking at you with the same expression as before, you couldn’t recognised it at all, considering all you were thinking was Jungkook and his reaction to this situation. You were about to speak until you heard a doorbell.

Then you remember that Jungkook was coming to reveal himself to your parents about your relationship. You internally sighed in relief, but you saw your mother excuse herself from the conversation and you were giving yourself a moment to breathe.

That’s when you heard a familiar voice of your boyfriend. ‘Hi Mrs Lee. I am Jeon-Kim Jungkook, I just live down the road. I just wanted to introduce myself to your family, given my new relationship with your adopted daughter. Can please see y/n?’ That’s when everyone looked at you, seeing all the attention put on you.

You nodded and excused yourself from the awkward situation in the living room and walked to the hallway. You looked at Jungkook alarmingly, before making eye contact with Mrs Lee, she was already looking at you and you recognised that look…Anger, Oh shit.

You heard Aiyana talking to him (thank god you have a wolf) and he visibly widened his eyes but quickly covered it up with his signature bunny smile. You saw your mother, enlarged her eyes at his smile. Thank go Jungkook has his werewolf charms.

You sighed now visibly relaxed without uncomfortable nature of the visit. You nodded and ushered Jungkook inside out of the January cold. You smiled and hugged him, and he pulled you close. Secondly, he pulled out a rose and handed one to you and to Mrs Lee who wordlessly held it. You giggled and thanked him, before you went and place the rose inside a vase and watered it.

You came back seeing that they were entering the living room. ‘Hello Mr Lee.’ Jungkook bowed at 90º to older man. He then turned and faced the older couple, the Jeongs, behind him and bowed again. And another to the young male.

‘Hello ---, I am Jeon-Kim Jungkook. I am y/n’s boyfriend. Forgive me for intruding your meeting with the Lees, but I came here prior to mine and y/n’s agreement. That we would reveal that we are dating to Lees, y/n’s adopted parents.’.

Jungkook introduced himself to the rest of the people, who did already just hear him explain at the front door. You smiled fondly at Jungkook’s politeness and gave him a little side hug. Jungkook held you close by the waist, staring at the young male.

The young male, who looked at his parents before he also got up before saying ‘Well, then Jungkook-shii. I am Jeong Hanjin. This is my Mother and Father’.

Jungkook nodded before saying ‘Nice to meet you all.’ He pulled you to sit down on the armchair you were sitting previously he then grabbed a lounger, from the corner of the room and he picked it up effortlessly placing it next to the armchair and sat next to you.

The young male now you know as Hanjin, wordlessly looked between, the two of you before taking his seat back at the armchair. Thank god… you sighed. Jungkook grabbed your hand and the both of you intertwined them together. Mrs Lee took her spot on the couch again next to her husband. And everyone was awkward to say the least but having Jungkook beside you, made it way less awkward for the two of you.

Soon the parents were asking Jungkook questions about him, his family, the brothers, what does he do in his spare time. Soon it came to the relationship questions where they asked the both of you.

‘I liked y/n since meeting her actually, my feelings developed into love last year during November. And I asked her if I could court her, throughout the Christmas holidays, she said yes. I took her out on dates; she met my family on Christmas and confessed to her on the 1st of January at my house she accepted.’ He explained. He said this because you told your parents; that you didn’t leave the house for a long-term. But left occasionally for visiting friends, it was part of your plan to say it, but you hoped it was believable for the extra people.

‘And you y/n?’ Mrs Jeong asked, curiously. ‘Fell in love in time when he took me out on dates. I didn’t at first believe he had feelings for me but when I got to know him personally, I think it developed quickly and I knew then I loved him. And then on Christmas, and things escalated from there.’ You said before looking at Jungkook who was already smiling at you. Before he kissed you on your temple, you smiled at him.

‘Well, I think its best to have dinner now.’ Mr Lee said looking at the time. And all of you nodded. ‘Y/n?’ you looked around, whilst holding Jungkook’s hand, to see Mr and Mrs Jeong looking at you. ‘Yes?’ you asked them curiously. The both of them looked at each other, before looking at you again. ‘Can you speak with us alone for a moment please?’ Mrs Jeong asked.

You nodded looking at Jungkook who was looking at you worried, you caressed his hand, indirectly telling him that you’d be okay. He let go before following the others to set up the dining table and to wait for you.

You sat in the couch and the Jeongs sat in the same seat as before. ‘Y/n…your parents told us that you weren’t dating at all when they came to visit us earlier last month and over the summer holidays.’ You nodded before saying; ‘I wasn’t comfortable to explain it to them until now. They are very strict, and they just want what’s best for me, but I do care for Jungkook, that why I accepted Jungkook in the first place. Regardless of their decisions for me.’

The parents looked at each other before saying; ‘I am sure then your parents didn’t tell you the meaning of this meeting then?’ You nodded before looking at them for an explanation. ‘We were thinking of doing an arrange marriage contract between you and our son. Like you said we want what’s best for our son, and you came up as the perfect women for our son. Your parents were in a financial crisis for their business, so we decided to help them. In return they said that you would be available for marriage and what they told us, you were perfect.’ Mrs Jeong explained

‘We were going to tell you that you only need to be in arranged marriage for 9 months, and if you don’t fall in love with our son by then, you are free to divorce, without his consent. We wanted you to accept this for our son…but seemingly that you are dating and that you are happy we won’t force you.’ Mr Jeong came after his wife.

‘However, if you do not accept you would miss a once in a lifetime opportunity and miss out on being one of the most well-known people in the entire world, through our business empire and you could help us out on our legacy. You could be the next Mrs Jeong after me. That is only if you accept our contract.’ Mrs Jeong finished off.

You blinked at both; before taking a glance at your hands, before choosing your last words wisely. ‘As much as the fame, the money and the fact that I might have a secured life ahead of me is tempting as it would seem. I am not the kind of person to take up such an offer.

‘Though I am not adopted-parents daughter. Even though my real parents are dead, they had left me a small book. It had taught me many life lessons when I grew up alone from a young age, it taught me how to live the way I live now.

‘Even though I was given shelter by my adopted parents now, I don’t listen to them that often. But I do know they do want the best for their only adopted daughter, just for contracting her life to something without her consent with no life lessons. Is not what I need…and I know what I need,

‘Therefore, this marriage is not the best for me right now. I am happy with my life, and I am more excited to go to university in the next year. Though you might say I could have that life within the contract you are giving me, I would be stuck in business, and I wouldn’t be free, into doing other things.

‘Loving your son is not possible after all with Jungkook in my life I don’t need this. If you had asked me do I see Jungkook in a different lens than when I first met him. Yes, he changed from a stranger, heartthrob of the school, top shooter in basketball, average grades. I hated him back then but now he is my best friend, hard worker, lover and someone who will take care of me, not by money and fame. But by his caring nature and his ability to understand me when nobody else did.

‘He showed me that I could be loved in the right way, and I will not leave him for this marriage so easily. Your son is a stranger to me I can’t accept a man for the rest of my life who I don’t know and who wouldn’t understand me.

‘Jungkook is an orphan like me, he had feelings of when his life turned upside down. He understand of what I have gone through when I lost my parents in a car accident. All of us orphans know the feeling of when someone truly cares for you, and we can see that in their eyes…

‘We understand what is wrong and what is right, just by one look. I know that I can’t accept your contract. Because I know what wrong, I won’t be leaving Jungkook for anything. Thank you for your consideration.’ With that you got up and left.

They were exactly like Mr and Mrs Lee, you sighed before cooling yourself down. Before walking confidently to Jungkook and he looked at you already sitting next him, you smiled and nodded at him. Soon the Jeongs came, and we all began to eat, in silence. Eventually we all said goodbye politely to them and then you all sat down in the living room.

Both the Lees sat on the couch where the Jeongs sat. And you sat where they sat in the previous conversations. Jungkook sat next to you, holding your hand tightly.

‘I am guessing you didn’t accept the proposal?’ Mr Lee said eyeing your intertwined hands. You nodded; ‘I didn’t like Hanjin, and they said they wouldn’t bother me if I didn’t accept the proposal. And besides you only cared about me if it was something went wrong with your business. That’s why you didn’t make me do the house chores for the past 2 weeks, you made me have twice the amount of serving for food, so I looked healthy.’

‘Look y/n we just wanted the best for you. With Hanjin you have a secured life full of riches any girl would want to be in your place. You could be the girl that everyone knows of, the ‘it’ girl or whatever you young girls call these days the ideal girls. With Jungkook you have unpredictability, and you don’t know if you’ll stay together for the rest of your lives.’ Mrs Lee said trying to convince you again.

‘I don’t want to be the ‘it’ girl. I am already the ‘it’ girl of my own life, I don’t need some stupid marriage and a guy whom I don’t know of just to gain fame. I know you think that this is the best for me, but I don’t want it. Jungkook will give me the most stable life I know; the whole world knows it. And if the world comes crashing down on us, I know that Jungkook would be there by my side.’

‘I am not your little girl anymore; I am not obedient to you for the way that you treated me. I didn’t stay at home for the entire holidays. I went to Jungkook’s place for Christmas and went 20 miles to go and see his family in another area for new years eve.

‘And for your information I found my parents there, yes, my real parents, they want me back. They explained why they had to leave me alone with you, for my safety, they came to look back for me at our old place. But they couldn’t find me they were just about to give up that’s when I met them. And now I am home. I have a love and a family.

‘I will leave this house officially on the 9th of August because I am already 18 and the authorities said that I can leave since my parents my reason is valid enough and that I have made my decision since I am 18 now. But right now, I don’t want to see your faces right now. I have already packed all my stuff.’ You explained before you looked Jungkook and pulled him upstairs.

You grabbed the 2 large black duffle bags off from the bed, giving one to Jungkook who took hold of it; you both headed downstairs again. The Lees were standing outside of the living room door, looking at the younger couple.

‘The reason why I am doing this is because of the torture you put me through since I turned 11 years. 7 years I have endured, 7 years I have survived under this roof. I will live my best life, and I don’t want you to be part of it after what you put me through. But all I can say is thank you for giving me shelter, food and some vital lessons. Thank you once again.’ You walked away and pulled the door open before bowing at the entrance before you walked to the front path.

Jungkook was about to leave until he heard a voice ‘Mr Jeon?’ he looked back at the older couple. ‘Please take care of her. We know we did wrong, and she won’t want us back, but for us please take care of her. Show her the love that she missed. I somehow know that you’ll stay together for the rest of your lives.’ Jungkook nodded, before he bowed to the at them 90º again before saying.

‘I will. I know she’s a keeper, even though she doesn’t admit it; I do see some of you in her. I hope to see you again soon.’ He said before bowing again separately to both. And the both of you left hand in hand on the way back home.

On the way home it was quiet since the comfort of the silence, was more than welcoming the neighbourhood was getting ready for bed, some of the lights switched off form the view of the windows. With only the streetlamps flickering underneath the dark sky.

When you squint you can see the star peeking through the clouds, you smiled at the sky remembering when Jungkook and you went out one night to see the stars. You looked over to the man next to you, who was already was looking at you.

His light almond tinted skin illuminating under the warm lamplight, his doe eyes bright with wonder. His expression relaxed but concerned. So, you raised your eyebrow at him, the view made Jungkook chuckle, and he pulled you in another direction, away from the direction of the manor.

You just let him pull you since now that you were free you could go anywhere with him without a worry. Soon you approached a small hill in the middle of the forest, from a distance you could see the manor with the tiny front porch lights glistening in the dark forest.

You looked at Jungkook again only to trail your eyes to the ground finding him sitting there looking up at you, his face this time bathed with the cool lighting of the waning moon above. You looked at him happily still remembering just weeks ago you promised yourself to Jungkook with the ring adorning your hand.

He was wearing the ash grey metal ring on his ring finger it had a small moonstone on it too. It was a promise ring but as a very late Christmas present, you were going to confess on Christmas, but events happened. Jungkook’s Christmas present was given to you that very same day, but it was a bit more memorable, little to say it made you burst into tears.

You sat down next to Jungkook looking at him curiously, Jungkook chuckled before removing the bag from your hand before placing it behind him with the other bag that he was holding. He pulled you by the waist hugging you tight. You pulled him closer by the neck in response with your head against his nape. You could hear him snuggling you close, after some moments he pulled away and looked at you in the face.

Jungkook chuckled before he turned your head to face him ‘Well you should be lucky then that I was there to save your day.’ ‘Yeah, you are really amazing my prince charming.’ You said sarcastically turning your head to look away.

But he pulled you closer and placed a small soft peck on your lips and said ‘Thank you princess, but really thank you for saying those things. Those mean a lot to me…’ you smiled and nodded before leaning and saying, ‘Well I can’t leave my kookie stranded all alone, otherwise he would have caused chaos if I had gotten married to another man.’,

‘And I would have told that boy on the alter that; Nobody takes this princess away from her prince charming. You know y/n he’s a half-werewolf and an Alpha.’ ‘I know, I could tell. That’s why he couldn’t resist my charms. But he should know I already belong to the big bad True Alpha, who’s name is Jeon-Kim Jungkook. 2nd January 2021

You woke up on another bed this time in the morning, looking at the ceiling. You lifted your head up, before moving to fix your bed head, looking around the room with squinted eyes. You stood up and walked around the king-sized bed through the dark room and on to the balcony, that over-looked one of the many gardens. You sighed closing your eyes taking in the fresh morning air, recounting the events from last night.

You were out there for some time, when you felt two muscular hands wrapping around your waist, which pulled you away from the railing, enveloping in the masculine scent of oak, musk and roses. You leaned back against the hard chest and felt warm breaths against your back and your nape. You turned around and lifted your arms to wrapped around the male’s neck, who placed kisses against your collarbone.

Jungkook pulled you against him, he felt you shiver when a gust of wind went by. So, he patted your thighs, and you lifted your thighs. He grabbed them placing them around his waist, you pulled him close with your arms and legs clinging onto him. He pulled you inside and placed you against the bed.

Also did I mention he is shirtless, and no you did not do whatever, last night. You blushed when Jungkook kissed your neck, and you were immediately stimulated, and you remembered the events of what happened the night before (that got him the reason to be shirtless).

At the thoughts you grabbed the bed pillows covering your face. Jungkook chuckled at your cuteness, he thought you looked amazing with your untamed hair displayed against the pillows with you in his oversized hoodie, and with your tiny pjs shorts.

You looked so small and cute by your behaviour but with your legs going on for miles, which was one of Jungkook’s favourite things about you, he thought you had long legs for your size, which made you mature but more beautiful once your personality started to shine. That was one of Jungkook’s many favourite little things about you. Cute personality and face in a matured body. So adorable and loveable.

He chuckled again at the thought of him being lovesick for a girl. But here he was being lovesick for you…his mate…and he was already loving the fact that you were blushing at his undying affection for you.

He gently removed the pillow from your blushing face bringing his head down to snuggle against your neck taking in your scent. He turned the both of you around so that you were laying on top of him, he shuffled back so he sat up against the headboard.

That’s when you looked at him for the first time properly that day, with your eyes adjusting to the dim light coming from the outside hitting the dark room. The lighting made your skin glow bright, ‘Darling, what were blushing about hmm? You know I am always curious.’ He asked in a teasing tone, he knew exactly knew what you were thinking about. But he couldn’t miss a chance to tease you about it.

You on the other hand were hiding your face again, this time in your hands. Remembering the memories of last night…

You walked back upstairs tired from the events of the night’s ball, with Jungkook leading you away from the now emptying ballroom. When you had come back from the ceremony in the forest, it was tradition for the new soon-to-be Alpha couple take a dance together. You thought you wouldn’t be tired for that but, when the boys took you dancing in turns again, you got tired again quicker than expected and Jungkook even pulled you for one last dance.

He then pulled you away to greet the Alphas who congratulated you on your engagement. If that wasn’t enough, you had to make up a speech on thanking everyone and hoping that you and Jungkook would be a better Alpha couple in the future and this and that.

Once you had finished, more people rushed you into conversations and things, but your Mum and Dad saw your tiredness who told her friend, Mother or Jungkook’s mom, to tell Alpha Kim who you ask to call him Father during the congratulations. To tell everyone that they would now put and end to the night and he’d hope that they’d have a safe journey tomorrow if he doesn’t manage to meet them, in the early morning.

You thanked them by nodding to everyone before saying the last farewells. Jungkook was currently leading you through another corridor which you didn’t recognised, but by the scents that you were picking up of your newfound identity, that it was the boys’ personal bedroom corridor.

You had reached the room at the end, entering a very dark room. You recognised the room, being very similar to Jungkook’s room back at the manor, but much more bigger. Modern interior compared to the corridor outside, greyscale and various gaming consoles under the tv. With a queen-sized bed in the centre. There was another door leading to the ensuite.

You walked tiredly before, lying against the bed. Jungkook chuckled at your childish behaviour but smiled fondly before he lied next you. Holding your hand. You felt the love and connection through that one touch making you sigh loudly in comfort.

Once you got your energy, you shuffled to move to the ensuite. Before you turned around and asked; ‘Do you have any spare clothes?’ Jungkook nodded before getting up walking over to the dark oak closet and grabbing a hoodie and what you recognised as your own shorts which you packed from you bag, it was probably moved here because of the events. You thanked him before entering and closing the door. Jungkook on the other side of the door waited outside for his turn, whilst hearing the shower turn on.

(A/N: I based the next part of this chapter with inspiration from a Wattpad book BTS Imagines 2 by @lilacmingi: this inspired me to write in the first place, its called ‘Jungkook: long hair imagine’ There is another oneshot I also used as inspiration, but I can’t find it currently once I do will mention it hereà

I am not going to make this a smut I don’t want to and I don’t think I am ready for that yet.)

Soon you were lying in your bed, waiting for Jungkook to come out of the shower. You were currently reading the book, which was lying on the bedside table, the book that Namjoon showed to Mother and Father. You were currently at the end of the True Alpha Couple legend. And went to grab another book from your bag inside the cupboard, before closing it and walking back to your bed. Opening the book and started to read the book…

Ten minutes later, the ensuite door opened revealing Jungkook wearing a skin-tight shirt and work-out pants, you looked up immediately widening your eyes at the sight, and shyly looked at your book whilst pretending to ignore him. And now you know why he made you wear his hoodie turns out it matched his work-out pants, you blushed more at the thought of matching him.

He knew you were looking at him the moment he left the ensuite. Jungkook chuckled before moving over to the cupboard opening the door, looking at mirror inside and putting on the hairdryer, lifting his hands up to dry his hair. Jungkook, could you see you occasionally glancing at him probably at his flexing back underneath his shirt, he grinned when you accidently met eyes with him. And god did he love to see you blush under his gaze.

His Alpha growled lowly in possession, and you snapped out of it, and hide behind your book. Jungkook could see you in his hoodie and god you looked so small and so innocent. Jungkook put down the hairdryer, once his hair was almost dry, but the tips of his hair was wet, he did his skin routine and walked over to you.

He sat in front of your crossed legs, on the edge of the bed. He looked at your face who was currently trying very hard to ignore his stares. You didn’t mean to look at him so deeply with so much interest, but he was your mate and thought it was okay to look but you didn’t think it would be this scary, being looked at with this much love. You heard Jungkook sigh before he pushed the book down from out of the view of your face with his large hand covering the pages.

‘Y/n are we going to not talk to each other like on our first time together overnight staying in the room?’ He asked. You shook your head but still didn’t make eye contact with him.

‘So, what is the book about?’ he asked looking at your face you gulped down your nervousness before saying; ‘Well there this girl and boy, they are in love since childhood…’

Jungkook hums before moving closer to your face ‘Now that they are older, they started to date…’

Now he’s staring at you…

‘But then on a date the boy explains to the girl that he’s a mafia she gets scared of their relationship, they sadly break up.

He later gets chased by the police and he soon get arrested for killing people…

he later tells her that he only kills the guilty.’ He moved his body so that he was leaning close to your face, taking an inhale of your scent, ‘Go on.’

‘And the girl feels bad for him and helps his mafia business. She then helps him escape from prison with the help of his friends…’ He gently grabbing the book out of your hand and placing it on the bedside table before grabbing you by the hips pulling you close to him; you fall against the bed but your too busy explaining you don’t realise

‘They fall in love again and now the boy and girl are fighting for their freedom from fear and love, against their arch nemesis and bad police people and that’s the part I got up to…’

You looked up at Jungkook’s who was looking down at you, then you realised your position he was on top of you on the bed. You blushed deeply feeling your red cheeks, you tried to hide your face with your hands, Jungkook gently grabbed your hands and placed them on either side above your head. Jungkook bend his head down to reach to your before saying.

‘If he gets arrests for killing people the innocent then should be a crime to be this beautiful blinding the innocent…’ he said whilst staring at you. You blushed looking away, Jungkook then brought his face in front of your face, letting go of one of his hands to cup your cheek, making you look at him. ‘But I love it.’ He said joining your lips together.

You whined loudly at the contact wanting to touch him more, you moved your hands but were suppressed by Jungkook lips on yours. You moved your hands around more, but Jungkook’s grip tightened, he let go of your lips. He then reattached his lips against yours, releasing your hands before moving his hands against your body in rough movements, matching the intense rhythm of your lips.

Your hands move to his chest, then to his shoulders, and finally moving up to grip his long hairs. Jungkook growled lowly at the pulling of his hair, moving his hands to grab your hips and sliding a hand underneath your(his) hoodie pulling you impossibly closer, tilting his head to deepen the kiss. The more you grabbed his hair the more desperate he became.

Jungkook’s hair never used to be this long, Jungkook only started to grow out his hair recently.

He bashfully admitted 2 weeks ago, in the cars on the way to a restaurant, one evening with the boys and the girls. He grew out his hairs only when you started to follow male models who had long hair on your socials.

He wanted to look cool like them and you dare him one night over a call and so he did grew out his hairs. You couldn’t lie he did look super hot, with his long dark sweaty hair over his eyes. When he left from basketball practice on that last day, when he asked you stay with him and the guys for the holidays…now that was a sight to see.

Jungkook lifted you off the bed snapping you out of your thoughts, making you let out a gasp. Jungkook pulled your hips on top of him so that you were straddling him. His tongue moved inside your open mouth, meeting yours, making you let out a whine.

Jungkook moved his lips to kiss at your neck, leaving butterfly kisses. Each kiss sending another wave of sparks through your spine, you could never get used to that feeling. You pulled Jungkook away from your neck.

Meeting your lips again, your bodies fitting together like puzzle pieces. Jungkook pushed his hands further up your back underneath his hoodie and caressed your skin on your spine. You shivered at the contact.

Jungkook pulled away before placing you against the bed against lifting his body upwards. Your eyes looked up at him curiously, Jungkook chuckled at your expression you chuckled along with him. He suddenly grabbed his shirt by the waistline and pulled it over his head. Before throwing it away somewhere else in the room. You blushed at Jungkook’s shirtless form.

Jungkook smirked at you before leaning down attaching your lips again, he could feel you moving your hands around against his chest. Each movement you were trying to commit to memory, feeling every crevice of his built but lean abs to his strong back muscles. All while your lips were attached in a sloppy kiss.

Jungkook was doing the same to your hips and your legs wrapped around his waist pulling him impossibly closer, making sure that you feel just as amazing as he is. Jungkook was looking at your reactions, taking in when your body language showed him pleasure and happiness, to his touches.

Making sure that you were comfortable with him. To make sure it was not just a dream. Your whines and pants told him so… that you were here in front him and that you were the both the causes of each other…euphoria.

Soon the make-out session made it to a pecking session. With Jungkook pecking your face mainly your lips, whilst saying what he loves about you and the rest of the little nothings. You felt Aiyana whine at the contact, the both of you basking the affection of Jungkook and his wolf.

Jungkook let go of you, sensing you were tired and placed himself next to you on the bed. He pulled you close so that you were against his chest, and he started to sing, you felt your eyes closed at the tunes of his voice and heartbeat. You finally heard 8 letters forming three words 3 words coming from his mouth:

‘I love you so much princess. I love you y/n.’

‘I love you too.’ You said, before you fell into a deep sleep in the arms of your love, in the safety of each others’ arms away from the world outside.

‘Kookie~’ you whined at Jungkook, who was already laughing at your blushing face. He chuckled saying ‘Sorry princess, I just had to tease you.’ You pouted and Jungkook chuckled, before placing kisses on your face. You whined more complaining at the kisses, Jungkook pulled back curiously;

‘I have bad breath though…’ you whined. Jungkook chuckled before saying;

‘Me too, princess, come on lets go and brush our teeth.’ Then he picked you up and walked over to the bedroom.

Soon the both of you changed (you into a blue cardigan with white pants, Jungkook into a blue Jumper and black pants) and were talking in the corner of the room with you sitting on Jungkook’s lap, on the black chair and a half (this is a real thing).

Soon Jungkook’s eyes turned red, before changing into their normal colour. ‘Come on let go, the guys mind-linked me.’ You nodded before getting off Jungkook and the both of you exited the room before heading down the corridor.

Once you got to the stairs, you saw everyone waiting for you. The both of you bowed to everyone, walking downstairs, greeting the other girls and waited at the entrance, with Mother and Father. Eventually, you and Jungkook greeted the Alphas and Lunas and their first-borns goodbye.

You eventually met your parents again who hugged you tightly and greeted you. They invited you to visit their pack sometime in the summer. You nodded and you exchanged numbers, so you could keep in contact. Eventually, it was time for you to have Lunch. You headed to the dining room and the both of you, and you ate whilst chatting with everyone.

Eventually Hoseok asked the very important question;

‘So are you two together?’ he asked whilst smiling at the two of you, who nodded and smiled at Jungkook who was already looking at you. ‘Yeah, we are.’ The both of you said.

Then everyone bought pop crackers from underneath the table shouting ‘Congratulations!’ as decorations flew everywhere with a series of pops.

You laughed loudly at the sound, smiling from ear to ear looking at your lover next to you, who was already looking at you. He pulled you into a kiss, and you could hear the cheers go louder and once you let go, you connected your heads.

‘I love you.’ You said.

Jungkook smiled before saying

‘I love you more.’

It was 2 hours before the ball, you and the girls had a 1-hour nap. You were currently helped into your dress thanks to the maids, the girls helped with you the makeup and hair. You repeated the same to them. You were all excited to say the least, excitedly talking about what could happen in the ball all throughout dinner. You on the other hand were excited but more so nervous, you were going to meet your real parents and whatever Hoseok was planning. You sighed whilst looking through the large window hoping for the best.

Jungkook was sighing loudly before shaking his hands nervously, him and the boys were entering the upper entrance to the ballroom. One by one all the boys entered, in this order Namjoon, Yoongi, Jungkook, Jin, Hoseok, Taehyung and Jimin. Once Jungkook entered after Yoongi went down the stairs, the drum sounded to the right of him. The guests looked up to him, ‘Jeon-Kim Jungkook, son of Kim.’ the servant announced; Jungkook bowed, and everyone bowed back he glided down the right stairs and waited behind Namjoon.

He waited for the rest of them to enter before they walked the rest of the stairs. Before walking through everyone as a group with the boys, he could feel the stares at the back of his head.

Jungkook sighed before he walked away, watching the three Kim brothers propose to some females and by tradition takes them out for a dance, he watch them glide throughout the room.

Namjoon in a perfected but clumsy movement. Jin in his wide graceful movements. And Taehyung who was graceful, but at a different pace depending on the beat of the music. Jungkook chuckled at their humour.

Jungkook then heard another drum sound. He looked at the entrance again this time from below and he saw Seulgi and Irene entered, ‘Kim Irene and Lee Seulgi, Ladies of the Kim house.’ They curtsied and separated whilst waiting on the stairs, just like he did. Then the drum sounded again Jungkook this time saw Lisa and Rose ‘Lisa Monoban and Lee Rose, Ladies of the Kim house.’ They curtsied before entering the stairs waiting behind the other girls.

He then heard the last drum sound Jungkook this time saw you, his mate. You were wearing the same dress as the appointment in the shopping mall, this time your hair tied up with a wreath pin holding up a bun at the back of your head with simple makeup to match. You were wearing the necklace that his Mother gave you, with matching earrings and a clutch bag of the same colour.

‘L/n Y/n lady of Kim and Byun house.’ You curtsied and Jungkook could hear a series of gasps and chatter. He presumed that they had thought you couldn’t changed your rank because you were a ‘mere human’. You were smiling gently as you glided through the crowds of people before heading to grab a glass from the waiter.

Jungkook could see many un-mated males were trying to get a glance at you as you walked by, but you just walked by them just giving a few nods to some other people. They wanted you as their mate… but that wasn’t going to happen on his watch.

He sighed before looking at his watch 2 hours till he is crowned Alpha, 3 hours till the moon at his highest point and to claim you as his. He glanced at you already finding your deep eyes looking back at him.

He raised the glass in his right hand to you, you smiled before raising your glass to him.

You were walking around talking with one other Luna she was part of one of the northern mountains regional packs. But she kept talking about her son to you, probably trying to convince you to like him. You just merely nodded at everything she was talking about, whilst you were making your third turn around the ballroom.

You made eye contact with Seulgi for the first time, she immediately understood and excused herself out of the conversation she was having before walking over to you grabbing you by the wrist. Making up some excuse that you needed to go see the Alpha Kim for some important business.

Once you got away you sighed and thanked her, she smiled before hugging you. She was guiding you through the ballroom you were walking whilst happily talking, you got a few glances like the ones at the beginning of the ball. But you ignored or smiled at the direction of the glances. But to be honest you didn’t care; all you wanted was to be happy.

You occasionally walked by the boys. Namjoon talking to some betas from other packs, Jin smiling along with him. Jimin dancing with Taehyung, laughing whilst dancing at very different paces from each other, both winking at the two of you when they passed by. Suga talking to some old Alphas. But you hadn’t seen the rest of the girls and Hoseok or Jungkook; speaking of latter group…

You heard a loud chit chat of girls, when you turned your head to see the commotion. You saw Jungkook and Jimin again, from the looks of things Jungkook was getting swarmed by girls. Jimin went to save him but got stuck in the mess (more like him flirting around), you could see Taehyung and Jin laughing at their situation before making eye contact with you; before you all dissolved in a burst of giggles.

‘Y/n!’ You turned your head to find Mother calling for you, whilst bringing Alpha and Luna Byun with her, you and Seulgi both curtsied at the two of them. ‘Good Luck.’ Seulgi whispered in your ear before she disappeared out of your sight. You turned back to the two of them.

‘I have bought you Alpha and Luna Byun, since you wanted to discuss matters with them, they have some free time on their hands to discuss with you, do you want me to come with you?’ you nodded before bringing them close to you whilst saying; ‘This is about the situation…that me, Mother and Luna Byun have discussed.’ They widened before they nodded before the 4 of you walked away outside the back entrance of the manor. You are wearing wolfbane cloak to stop you from changing uncontrollably during the full moon, since you don’t have a moonstone yet. You all walked the down the stairs before heading into guarded garden.

There were several deltas waiting at the entrance, all mated waiting outside, once they saw Mother Luna they bowed. They turned and walked around the garden to guard it. You nodded at the leader before entering the gardens. You had specifically asked for deltas, from Mother, to guard those gardens you didn’t want any uninvited guests to attend your secret meeting. You wanted mated deltas so that there was no risk of men other than Alpha Byun attending the meeting.

Once you got to the centre. You stood in the middle before turning around to face the three of them. ‘I do think you are my parents. When I went through the photobook and through my drawings again. I got a dream last night or my memories came back to me and I finally met my wolf today, just before the day broke. Her name is Aiyana ‘The eternal flower’.

I also remember the last few words you spoke to me,’ you glanced at Luna Byun ‘She’ll find her mate and friends and then she can be herself again, she can come back home. My little moon, be safe I love you. Your father loves you. Your pack loves you. We are proud that you are…’

‘a pure-alpha female, when we meet each other, I hope you can fulfil the prophecy and find your True Alpha mate. We are always together in this mikrokosmos.’ Your mother finished of the lines. Your eyes glinted from blue to red and you heard your wolf Aiyana say ~‘We are home.’~ you smiled, and tears left your eyes. You were glad you wore minimal make up otherwise you’d be looking very odd. You smiled before grabbing taking the wolfsbane cloak, hiding inside a large bush tree quickly changing into your wolf, before leaving to run to your parents.

They gasped and held you close you whined happily snuggling into their legs, licking their fingers when they petted you, they smiled at you whilst giving you kiss on your head. You walked to Mother who smiled at you before petting you affectionately.

You whined before hiding into the bush tree again coming out once fully dressed and cloaked, you walked over to them cuddling them close while they responded. ‘Oh, my little moon.’ your Mum smiled at you before giving you a kiss on your nose. You then looked at your dad who smiled back at you before he gave you a kiss on your head.

You snuggled into his neck. Before letting you to hug Mother who smiled at you. ‘Mother thank you for bringing me to my real parents.’ ‘Its an honour to help such a beautiful girl like you.’ She said whilst hugging you back with that you all walked back to the ballroom to get ready for the announcement.

Jungkook was looking at the time on his watch before he kept on looking at the back entrance waiting for his mate to appear through the door. The boys were looking at him as he walked left to right back and forth, ‘Jungkook-ah you better stop walking around so much you are making me get a headache.’ Jin whined at the younger one.

It was true though to everyone walking by they were looking at the younger Alpha curiously. ‘Sorry Jin-hyung I am just nervous. I can’t see y/n here yet and I don’t think I can make a good speech without her.’

‘Don’t worry she just walked through the door with her parents and Mother who is heading our way to meet Dad.’ Suga said whilst looking at the back entrance. Jungkook glanced at y/n who was already with her parents, who were also smiling happily…so she accepted her parents.

Jungkook smiled happily before making eye contact with his parents, who smiled back at him bringing him into a hug ‘Good luck in the future.’ They both said. They then hugged the rest of the brothers, before they headed up the stairs.

Jungkook gave one last look at y/n who was smiling at him, she smiled at him wishing him good luck, Jungkook saw sadness, but she smiled through it and nodded back to him. He vowed that he’d take care of her till the very end and to never let her have sadness in her eyes…

He heard the drum sound again, he smiled reassuringly to y/n before breaking his gaze before looking at his parents who was going to announce his take over. The boys stood up beside him and patted his back reassuringly…before hearing their father’s last speech as Alpha.

You looked at Alpha Kim whilst standing next to your now parents. You were smiling happily about how Jungkook is going to be the new Alpha, but sad about mates part of this. You don’t know what you’d do with yourself if you see Jungkook with someone else.

You looked at your hands, scared. Your parents held you close, you smiled at them. They smiled at you supportively at you, making you confused to why they were so happy. You were more muddled when you looked back at Jungkook who was already looking at you, you gave your best smile and Jungkook gave you a comforting smile, weird.

You nodded before mouthing ‘Good luck!’ he smiled at you. You nodded and looked back at his father, who was already smiling at you. You felt hands on your shoulder you looked over and found the girls looking at you. You nodded before focusing on the speech again.

‘Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying the ball. Today is a big announcement for our pack hence why we have invited everyone in our pack and the neighbouring packs. We have also invited the Alpha and their Lunas who have brought their first-born sons and any eligible high ranked females prior 3 days ago. For the increased chance of finding their mates, in this large event of many people, with the privilege and help from the Moon Goddess herself. I wish you all unmated individuals in this room great deal of good luck to find their mates, with my hope and gratitude for the future.

‘Today I am also making a big decision myself. I am going to pass down my rank to one of my seven sons, who have all attended today. There will be a change in the systems, which might be controversial to you all, but my chosen alpha choice who thought that it was a good idea. I agreed to this because I do believe this is best for my pack specifically in our circumstances. I hope it can set a future example for other packs in the future.

‘My son who I have chosen for the leader of the Eclipse is…Jeon-Kim Jungkook.’ Over the loud cheers and claps, you could see Jungkook being congratulated by his brothers. He headed up the stairs whilst hugging his parents, hugging his father. You saw Jungkook raise his hands commanding silence. He was looking at you, you widened your eyes before nodding indicating you can do it.

‘I am Jeon-Kim Jungkook, I am happy that my Father has chosen me as the new pack leader. I am to take over as Alpha in the coming October on the full moon, since I need to graduate at my school along with the rest of my brothers and our closest friends.’ He indicated by gesturing to us girls and his brothers.

‘Regarding the change in the systems, all Omegas and Deltas ranking system will stay the same. However, all me and my brothers will have joint leadership of the pack. However, I’ll be the head leader and control all things with the guidance of my sub-pack Alphas who are my brothers.

‘All deltas and omegas will answer to my brothers, depending on their strengths. My brothers: Namjoon will take care of the laws and social relationships, Jin will take care of food supplies and some imports, Suga will take care of weaponry, Hoseok will take care of social matters within the pack, Jimin will take care of training for deltas and Taehyung will take care of the rest of the importing and all of the exporting. My Brothers will answer to me regarding any big changes, that need to be held in our pack. I will have a beta to myself as will my brothers.

With this joint leadership, the close relationship and immediate response should allow close connectivity between our packs to allow for good relationships between regions and our neighbouring sub-packs.

I will send copies of the document of these changes to our government official buildings and to our neighbouring packs who will trade with us in the next years. Those who wish to see the document must come to me or my brothers to personally request for a copy.’ There were a series of mutters before a large clapping sounded between the groups of people. I guess everyone agreed to the changes, good.

Jungkook lifted his hand indicating silence again indicating he hasn’t finished his speech yet; ‘I as an Alpha, I am meant to claim my mate before I have ascended into my leadership role as Head Alpha. And many of you might be curious to who is my mate. I have already found my mate 2 months ago, way before this event started; I found my mate the moment I joined my human school. Which I think you can guess…will explain why I kept to myself throughout the most of this event of the winter solstice.

‘Because I have found my mate already, I hope you all can accept my mate, as the Luna of this pack. She is from another pack, and she has a special status and a more special place in my heart. Which is why I end my speech here and I shall ask for her dance right now.’ He said before heading down the stairs again, hugging his parents, before smiling to his brothers who encouraged him, teasing him by pushing him towards his mate.

You watch him glide through the crowds, whilst people made space for him. You heard people say ‘Alpha Jungkook.’ As he walked by, he just nodded and thanked them. Every time he walked by some unmated female, she’s wait a little, but Jungkook ignored and walked by them.

They would frown before saying ‘Alpha Jungkook.’. Jungkook had a clear line of direction, he never paused but walked through crowds of people, making his way to the back of the ballroom. You presumed that it wasn’t you, but you were about to move, but everyone, your parents and the girls around you held you into place. You looked at them all confused, but they urged you forwards, and you walked ahead reluctantly.

Once you saw Jungkook and he made small eye contact with you and his eyes flashed red, you widen your eyes. You widened your eyes more when he was walking in your direction, once he was about 8 feet away from you, you met his eyes. You were about to leave and make way for him, but he walked faster to hold you into place by just his stare. You felt all eyes on you when he held his hand out you, you gasped covering your face with your hands.

‘Lady y/n of Kim and Byun house, I accept you as my mate. Will you dance with me?’ he said whilst bowing to you with his head down.

You were silent and widened your eyes, but nodded your head when he raised his head. And you gently held his right hand. You were suddenly pulled by him, whilst he guided you to the middle of the ballroom, people moved making way for you.

They widened their eyes bowing to you with Jungkook when you glided by, but you were only looking at him too confused to notice the stares. Jungkook on the other hand, was looking forward before finally turning his head making eye contact with you, once you were in the centre of the ballroom. The two of you bowed to each other, Jungkook gently held you in a dance formation.

A soft waltz came on, and Jungkook lead you on through the dance. You were grateful that he did because right now you weren’t thinking straight. You just looked at your hand resting on his chest feeling his heartbeat against your hand, you could feel his eyes on you, so you glanced up.

You saw his dark eyes looking at you. You blushed and looked down again. You hear him sigh before he whispered before saying ‘Y/n talk to me. Your silence is scaring me.’ You looked up again before saying;

‘Why didn’t you tell me sooner? I got so scared that you might have been promised to someone else.’ You were embarrassed that you were asking him such question, but he placed his lips to your cheeks before grinning at your red cheeks.

‘I wanted you to accept me, I didn’t want to force you to accept me as my mate. You used to be a human and I wanted to give you a choice to love or not. After all mates, is forever, I wanted you to be sure. And I didn’t want to jinx whatever, the curse is. I wanted to tell you so bad, but because of the curse. I didn’t knew you loved me until we had that argument, I could see it in your eyes.’

He dropped his tone to whisper in your ear; ‘But you are being something so big, being the only Alpha Luna for the pack and the only pure-female-alpha, in the world, it got me scared. Which is another reason why I argued with you, I didn’t want to risk your identity being found if I told you that night, I am sorry.’ He nuzzled into your neck before leaving gentle kisses to your neck. You sighed and nodded, before nuzzling back to him. Before nodding opening your mouth to ask him, your voice dropping in tone.

‘I also heard that you and the boys kept on talking about rumours, during the dinner and the other events. Is that another reason?’ he nodded before replying;

‘If people found out that we are mates, there would be a big uproar. You saw those looks the other unmated Alphas gave you on the first night. They wanted you and if they found out that we were mates, they would want you more, those horny asses.’ He said grumpily you giggled in response, before nodding at him to continue.

‘And if people found about your identity there would be another this time a much more bigger uproar. E.g., if everyone knew of your identity when we got here all the Alphas would be after you, there would be a big fight. Whilst you are stuck with them, I will be stuck with those stupid females, who don’t know personal space…’ You kissed his cheeks. He looked at you before raising his eyebrow at you inquiringly. ‘I get the idea now…lets just enjoy things, okay?’ you said. Jungkook smiled before nodding giving you snuggles to your face, and you did the same.

Soon the song finished, and you and Jungkook bowed to each other, respectively. And another song started to play to a much faster more fun rhythm. People took it as a sign to take to the floor. Jungkook pulled you into a hug before he waltz with you. You smiled at him through out the song, happy of the outcome of this event.

You then saw Jungkook glanced in the direction of someone before he widened his eyes, before taking his hand away from your waist looking at his watch. You got confused and turned your head to the direction of Jungkook’s glance and saw Hoseok was pointing to his watch and mouthing ‘Its time!’ ‘Its time!’ Jungkook then stopped and held you by the hand and pulled you outside through the back entrance.

You turned your head to look back, but you saw everyone looking curiously between the two of you. Some people even followed you, but Jungkook was faster. Once you got the back entrance you whispered shouted to Jungkook ‘Wait my cloak!’

‘No time I’ll explain later, we need to get to that place now otherwise, the uproar will soon begin. When the moon is at its highest point.’ He said lifting you bridal style before running to the forest. Once you were isolated near the border of the forest but just deep enough for privacy, Jungkook changed from his all-black suit into his black wolf, his red eyes looking at you. You understood the look and climbed onto his back as he carried you deeper into the forest.

Jungkook in his wolf form could smell other wolves nearby, he could recognise them as the deltas who were given the requested assignment to protect the gardens, while y/n could reveal her identity. He howled and he could hear other howls in response.

They other deltas were near place protecting it and getting it ready for them, just as Hoseok explained to him earlier that night. He ran until he saw the willow tree, he could see the moon in almost its closest position, just above the willow tree.

Once he had reached the edge of the clearing he stopped, and you took it as sign to get off him. Jungkook changed into from his wolf into his human form again, before pulling you into a clearing. You looked around and saw a large willow tree, with large circular markings on the ground you recognised these marks from your dreams.

But you were more surprised to see Jungkook in full clothing on, you thought he would be shirtless. Jungkook said ‘Custom-made, doesn’t break when I need to change into my wolf. No need to worry I won’t do anything just yet.’ He chuckled at your red cheeks. Jungkook looked at his watch…11:10, it read. He had to get ready now.

Jungkook brought you to the centre of the ring of markings and held you by your hands. You looked at him confused but was reassured by his smile. You looked at him before you heard sounds of movement, you got scared. Jungkook rubbed a finger reassuringly on your hand, you saw the wolves, and recognised them from the gardens, they stood at the border or the clearing protecting you.

You widened your eyes when 6 of them entered the clearing with the 4 familiar girls on their backs. 3 of which you recognised as Jimin, Jin and Hoseok. you realised the rest of them were the boys, who you had yet to see their form and recognise them. While the boys who had change along with the girls joining the outer circle markings on the ground.

Then you heard a large crowd that walked closer, you recognised them all as attendees from the ballroom. They walked closer to the two of you but stopped when they could hear the deltas and the boys growling. You turned your eyes to Jungkook and saw his deep reds this time. You assumed he was mind-linking because he had a dazed look in his eyes.

Then you heard rustling behind the willow tree you saw the white wolf with the ash-grey eyes, come out. ~‘Isn’t she the wolf that turned me into a human at a young age the wolf with the white eyes, before I met Jungkook’~ you felt your wolf agree with you, but she seemed happy but not defensive, weird.

Jungkook smiled before letting you go the greet the women hugging her human form. She changed into a short, tanned woman with silver tattoos covering her body she was wearing a white dress with several glittering silver pieces of jewellery, her white hair shining under the moon.

Her kind eyes darted towards the girls who had just entered the circle markings. You looked at them curiously. They just smiled at you and started to follow the white-haired ladies instructions. ‘Y/n this is my great aunt, she used to be the last True Female, gifted by the moon goddess herself to become the next priestess. But she didn’t find her mate.’ Jungkook said and you went to greet her by bowing deeply.

She smiled at you before bringing you into a hug; ‘You have grown since the last time I met you, I am sorry for what happened in the past, it was the only way to protect you.’ You smiled and nodded in understanding.

Once you had let go of their Great Aunt, she had turned to look at everyone, they had all bowed to her you realised that she was the High Priestess. She must have called everyone here… but for what?

He had leaked her information and made a bargain to a group of hunters who executed most of her pack. He planned to fake a rescue of her pack to drive the hunters and to become victor, but ended dying because the hunters themselves, killed him.

Soon her pack withstand all the attacks from all the species including their own. One severe attack affected y/n’s mental health, changing her into her wolf completely and almost permanently . Her parents couldn’t take it anymore, to see their daughter undergo so much suffering. They had asked me and my loyal secret mate, the beta of the pack, to take her to safety and change her into a human permanently and to wipe her memories. And we hid her in a human settlement under the care of a couple, who couldn’t have a child.

‘Only then once she had found her mate she could be reveal once again to the night creatures of our world, which was 2 weeks ago. I had planted the idea of True Alpha Couple in Namjoon’s head so that he could reveal to his parents, Byun y/n’s true status.

‘It was only then Jungkook was decided to be Alpha, because Jungkook knew that they were mates at that time. Things happened and I had a vision of Jung-Kim Hoseok would help me bring them together, to help achieve the prophecy. Hoseok planned things and now here we are. I now hereby declare with my power that Jeon Jungkook and Byun y/n are the next True Alpha Couple of this century.’ The High Priestess explained.

You looked at Jungkook who was looking back at you, you smiled at him you were glad that someone else revealed about you to everyone else. You looked at the High Priestess who smiled at you before her eyes turned into a bright silver.

-‘Byun y/n when you are ready you can change into your wolf. Jungkook will change with you, so don’t worry.’- You nodded and Great Aunt started to chant a recited text in some ancient language. Jungkook walked away from you, and you walked to the willow tree which brought down it silver leaves to cover you. You smiled at the tree before taking off your dress for th 2nd time that night and changed into your wolf again.

The leaves of the willow lifted again, and you walked back through the hanging branches, they brushed against your white fur. You looked around and you heard a series of gasps. You knew your coat was a rare colour. Since that it only belonged to an Alpha female who was part of the southern isles, but nobody has seen those in 320 years since the extinction, from what your parents told you.

Your great x3 grandmother was the last of them. So, it seemed unlikely that these werewolves had seen these coat in a long time. Your parents told you that the gene for the coat colour was dependent on the other genes making it rare. It must have got lost in the Alpha line since a new True pure-blood Alpha wasn’t born. But came back maybe when Jungkook was born since he did big achievements. According to Jungkook, it must have triggered something, for you to be born and have this coat colour.

You walked to Jungkook who was already in his wolf form, and you nuzzled into his neck. He purred in appreciation, he walked around you and walked up to you before nudging at you before licking your nape. You walked over to Great Aunt who smiled at you before she pulled you close and patted your head.

You walked back to Jungkook who was lying down on his chest, and you lied down next to him, nuzzling your head underneath his head. You then heard shouts and statement being made at you, from the unmated individuals. You looked around worriedly, but Jungkook growled so loudly that it silence everyone, He got up suddenly standing over you in protective form, he then closed his eyes tightly.

-‘SHUT THE HELL UP! ALL OF YOU!’-

The High Priestess then rose her hands to speak again. Silencing the last shouters… ‘We didn’t tell anyone about this earlier because, we knew that this would happen. There would be a large fight and many wolves would have lost their lives, mates would be mate-less! Can’t you all have common sense! If you had all started to wanting to mate with them just because of Legends and better status for your pups, I think not!’ She shouted at everyone they widened their eyes at the statement.

‘You would have all completely irradicated the mating system! The same events of the 1990s genetic problem would have happened all over again! Many people would produce unfertile offspring because the mating gene would have been completely irradicated! Mates are needed for their children to pass on their genes, onto the next generation!

‘You would have to make witches, do all the dirty dark magic to gain fertile offspring! They would have instead cursed you. So that you can’t find female werewolves anymore and you can’t have female wolves at all as children. You females would have been dead at the end of the curse. You males would have had to steal innocent girls from human villages every ten years on the blue moon! You’d have to reveal yourselves, to the humans again! Everyone would fear you and more of you would be hunted!

‘Thanks to the last massacre which was 17 years ago. I had to loss my mate for all of you people to finally come to an agreement. Don’t you dare start protesting otherwise, I will make sure the celestial supernatural beings will come after you.’ Everyone went silent at the declaration by the High Priestess.

-‘Go and change into human again, then the ceremony can start.’- Jungkook whined before getting up and he nudged you to the willow tree again. What ceremony? you curiously turned your head. -‘Seasonal Engagement Ceremony. We are finally going to be promised to each other. Like an engagement for humans, but for the important ranks only, happens every full moon.’-

You smiled and nodded before you walked back into the willow tree. You changed and a basket was there which had a letter and its said.

The girls must have entered and placed it there during the commotion. You opened the packaging and saw a beautiful white dress; it was a long white tulle dress. A-line, cold-shoulder, teacup length, covered in a lace with a patterns full of stars. You slipped on the dress and arranged your hairs. You were still wearing your necklace but this time the lilac stone changed into a white one. You presumed this was meant to happen; to say that you had met your mate, and you were now to be engaged.

You exited the willow tree only to see the circular markings on the ground were glowing purple, Jungkook’s favourite colour. You looked up at the moon, finding it much bigger than before. You presumed that it was 11:15PM in middle of the night, highest/largest point of the moon when werewolves powers are strongest. You turned your head to see Jungkook in his all-black suit again. Looking at you with a shocked face or should you say a Jungshook face, you giggled at him.

You could see that the boys were standing behind Jungkook surrounding the outside of the ring. The girls on the other hand were holding baskets on either side of you, in the baskets were fern leaves and dark purple flower petals. You looked at the High Priestess who gesture you to walk forward. As you did the girls sprinkled the petals and fern leaves as you walked by. You walked ahead and saw the ground lit up by fireflies and lily of the valleys which glittered brightly when you walked past them.

Once you stood entered the circle, the circle changed to a blueish lavender. Your favourite colour was light blue, so hence the colour change being a mix of the two colours of light blue and purple. You walked ahead you stood in front of Jungkook.

Both the girls and the boys followed suit and walked to the furthest outside circular marking. Jungkook on the other hand stood opposite of you already looking at you. Once you made eye contact him, he grinned and took your hands in his and held you at arms length.

‘Today we have gathered her today to celebrate the very start of a renowned union. My great nephew Jeon Jungkook the newest Alpha of the Kim Pack. Born on the year 2003, on the 1st of September. His father is an Alpha and mother was a Luna delta who were tragically killed along with the rest of their pack in the 2007 killings at their hosting of the blue moon when Jungkook was only 4 years old.

‘And Byun y/n pure born of alpha blood heritage, taken away from her parents, at the mere age of 7. She was hidden by me and my mate into the Human World, before joining back into her world just 2 months ago. I wish her good luck, with her new status.’

‘With this in mind, will you y/n state your vows.’ You nodded before saying; ‘When I first met you Jungkook we didn’t have a good relationship at the beginning, but when I met you truthfully for the first time in your house. You were quiet and timid, but you still intrigued me, and you even saved me from that stupid Kira, back at school. I am glad we got off a good foot since then.

‘I am more glad that we learned and loved each other for the last two months. And for the longest time I have loved you, you took care of me through everything, and I hope to do the same for the rest of your life. I wish to be there for you a shoulder for you to cry on, I wish to catch you when you fall. All I wish is your full attention and love for me, that’s all I want.

‘I want a best friend, a lover, and a near-future a husband and finally a father.’ You said whilst shedding a few tears, Jungkook brought his hand to up to your cheek and he wiped your cheeks of your tears. You looked at the Priestess who looked at you and nodded.

‘And now Jungkook will you state your vows.’ ‘My dear Luna where do I start, you were there since the beginning. I did not know you were my mate, and that I hadn’t liked you at the beginning. I loved you unconsciously without myself knowing, it was only till my brother Namjoon told me and I saw your true colours. As you said we learned to love each other throughout our two months together.

‘I hope that I can be the best mate and though mates are forever, I wish that you’ll never regret your choice. I will love in this life and the next. The little things you do make me fall in love with you deeper. I want to be there for your mood swings, and I want to be reason for love and your existence in the world.

‘All I want it someone to be there by my side. To be mother of my Pack and to be mother of my children. To my love, my wife and my moon.’ He said whilst staring into your eyes, you could feel yourself blush at his stare. You smiled and nodded and caressed his hands, he held your hand tightly in response. Smiling happily at your acceptance.

‘Now, Jungkook you will exchange your ring.’ Jungkook nodded before kneeling on one leg before taking a box out of his pocket. You saw the ring; it was a rose gold band with a moonstone in the centre. He looked at you for permission once again. You nodded and Jungkook placed the ring on you ring finger on your left hand. He kissed the back of your hand before standing up holding your hand together.

‘Now you may kiss each other. And let the moon reunite you for the rest of your lives.’ You widened your eyes at him. But Jungkook being romantic Jungkook without a word held you close by the waist.

He rested his forehead against yours, you sighed and relaxed in his hold with a hand on his chest. Jungkook brought his lips to yours, and you closed your eyes when you felt soft pillows on top of your lips.

You lifted your head up to push your lips more against his. You could feel Jungkook sigh against your lips. Your hands travelled to rest against his neck putting your fingers pushing through his hair gently tugging at them. He groaned and pulled you close by your lower back. He moved his lips harder against your lips and turned his head to deepen the kiss.

You whined gently at him, when he released your lips, he nudged your nose against his. Jungkook gave you pecks before he hugged you close, you snuggled against his neck, taking in his scent. You heard claps and you grinned against Jungkook neck, giving one last hug before letting go. Jungkook shyly grinned at you before he winked at you, you laughed at him whilst throwing your head back, giving him a playful slap. He giggled before back hugging you tightly.

You then let go when you felt a nudge against your leg. You let go of Jungkook to turn around to the direction of the tug; a young girl with a crown of white flowers on a red velvet pillow.

And you bent down on your knees. She placed the pillow on the ground before taking the crown and placed it your head, you lifted your head up to you thanked her. You opened your hands to hug her she walked closer before hugging you and you held her close. You felt a hand on the back of your shoulder. You looked up to find Jungkook holding a young boy on his waist who was wearing a wreath of leaves on his head, Jungkook had the same wreath as him.

You lifted the girl off the ground to hold her properly in your hands, she held you close. You smiled at Jungkook who smiled at you fondly. The parents of the children came, and you let go of the children, who ran to their parents. You sighed and smiled at them.

The girls came next and hugged you tightly. Jungkook was bombarded with the boys, all of them head locking him giving him a hard affectionate rub against his head.

‘You’re the first to get married. Don’t say I am old.’ Jin shouted whilst Jungkook whined at him for messing with his hairs, you laughed at his antics. Jungkook whined before walking to you. You nodded before sighing ‘Well now you have to deal with him rest of your life you old coconut.’ You sighed at him at him before running away giggling.

Jungkook ran after you, ‘Yah y/n! Come back here!’. Before he tackled you against the ground. You laughed loudly when he tickled you, you shouted ‘Stop! Please!’ ‘Well, you must apologize to me and do something for me…’ ‘I am sorry, but you do tease your hyungs to much and too often, its true though. But what do I have to do?’ you asked curiously, looking at him.

‘Give me a kiss here?’ Jungkook pointed at his cheek, you gave him a peck. Again and again he asked, until his pointed to his lips. You blinked but blushed, before giving him a peck. ‘A proper one.’ He asked You whined again but brought your lips to him and he sighed whilst bringing you up from the floor, with his lips on yours. He sat you on his lap whilst holding you close. You gasped at the change in formation, but his lips never left yours. You sighed before releasing the kiss. And Jungkook kissed pecked you on your neck before hugging you tightly which you returned.

You were glad…so glad. You were home, you had found your soulmate…and most importantly found a family.

chapter 6:the werewolf heartthrob

Pairing: Werewolf! Jungkook x Unknown identity! Reader ~(severely unedited: started 02/05/2022 ended 01/06/2022)~

Genre: high school au, werewolf au, angst, uncomfortable moments but only on a couple of parts, lots and lots of fluff, family abuse (mentions only) but Namjoon saves the day

You woke up this morning at your usual timing to get changed into your dressing gown before the maids arrived with breakfast. You smiled and thanked them soon the other girls joined you. After finishing the food, you, and the girls then all changed into your dresses for that afternoon.

You slipped on white A-line dress, covered with lilac flowers decorated with accents of golden the centre. And you tied up your hair into a half-tie with a ribbon. Before putting on a simple eyeliner, blush, and lipstick. Before slipping on a necklace, that Jungkook gifted you a month ago, above your sweetheart neckline, before slipping on some white satin shoes. The girls changed into their simple dresses. Rose in a light blush, Lisa in dark red, Irene in duck egg green and Seulgi in silver. You then all walked out the room before heading downstairs.

Once you got downstairs, the Kyunmin announced you once you entered through the doors. And you walked down the stairs, Jungkook and the other boys were there already, dressed in robes ideal for changing into wolves and for hunting. There were other packs there as well you curtsied in greeting, you walked to the far right away from them. Waiting for the other people to enter the hallway. Once everyone had entered Alpha Kim and Mother walked towards the back entrance of the manor before heading to the gardens.

To the left side of the field there were large tables around the centre set up, with various foods. To the centre of the tables, there was a large dance floor. To other side of the field were several horses and hounds, there were also target practice, with archery or rifles.

You then looked at Alpha and Luna in front of you who smiled. ‘Today, we have arranged for the females and the males, to have the opportunity to communicate separately with each other. Without further ado we hope you enjoy.’ You nodded before following the girls. ‘But before you go, we wish to commence a ceremony for the second day for this festival with a flamed arrow to the torch.’ The Alpha said pointing to a torch in the middle of the fountain at the centre of the field

‘We hope for good luck that Lady l/n y/n would choose to shoot the arrow to the torch.’ You widened your eyes, before looking at the girls, they urged you to go forward. You nodded before curtsied towards Alpha Kim and Mother. Mother smiled happily, before glancing at Jungkook, who smiled at you both. You then understood that Jungkook must have told her about the fact that you do archery for fun.

You then put on the archery gear. Before walking over to choose a horse. Your eyes then focused on a white mare, she walked over to you. You nodded and thanked her, the servant went to grab the saddle and handed it to you whilst you are fastening it onto the horse, you smiled and mounted the mare.

Much to everyone’s surprised you put your legs and both sides of the horse (which was very unladylike), before taking the reins from the servant. You moved forward and started to ride the horse with ease, gaiting fast before you started to gallop fast your hair free, you smiled before grabbing the bow and arrows from the stands whilst rushing past them.

Before you turned the mare to the side and moving forward fast, focusing on the first target, before shooting, hitting the bullseye. You turned your horse around and repeated the same thing with all the fixed, flying and spinning targets around the area each hitting the bullseye.

Once you were on your last arrow, you shouted ‘Flame!’ one of the servants rushed forward before lighting the long tube filled with coal, flames ignited. You found a stray cloth inside the pocket on the saddle and wrapped the stray cloth around your last arrow whist riding. You then dipped the clothed arrow into the oil pot before lighting it up with the flames from the coal before circulating the large fountain, in the centre of the gardens, with the unlit torch in all its glory.

Releasing the reins, you aimed for the last time and pulled the bowstring before releasing the arrow letting it fly before it hit the centre lighting it up. You sighed in relief before leading your horse to the training area. You put down your bow down at the stand before slowing down the horse. You climbed off it with no difficulty and gave the spare arrows to the servant. Gently patted the horse to calm it down and nodded, before the servant took it away to rest at the stables. You turned and walked to everyone, who were in shock, but Jungkook knowingly smiled at you. You curtsied again. Alpha Kim shouted once again, ‘Let the celebration begin!’

Jungkook and the boys headed over to the target practice he was silent but was smiling to himself while the others were discussing what the hell you just did just a few minutes ago. Jin was telling the group; ‘I didn’t know y/n could do those things, let alone in her dress?’ ‘Jungkook, do you know something?’ Taehyung as the youngest in the group, seeing Jungkook’s eyes glinted with proudness. Jungkook looked up at Taehyung before looking at the boys.

‘Y/n does archery for fun in her big backyard, back at home. Didn’t you see the archery kit in her garage when you went to go and get the tables? for that backyard sleepover we did once at her house? Yeah, that’s how she is so used to archery. Since her ‘father’ does archery but doesn’t allow her, she does it when they are not around. Horse-riding, I think the cheerleaders did it for fun on one of their birthdays, Seulgi told us that y/n was a natural.’ Jungkook explained.

The boys nodded in understanding, before they set up the rifles and the arrows to practice on the target. Jungkook took one last look at y/n who was looking back at him, he smiled and winked at her. She smiled and put up an okay sign, he presumed she was talking about her performance, he nodded in confirmation. He turned back to focus on the target hitting the bullseye.

Y/n was looking at the foods, before grabbing some before heading to the table where the girls were sitting, once y/n sat on the table she started to eat. ‘You good?’ Seulgi asked still worried about last night. Y/n nodded whilst smiling at them. They were chatting about things, before Rose lent over the table and whispered ‘Jungkook is looking at you again.’ You turned your head to look for the male before giving a little wave to him, which he smiled and nodded before saying through the mind-link.

-‘We are going now, be safe.’- You nodded before mouthing ‘You too.’ To him, eventually focusing on the food, finishing it off before sighing, leaning against your chair. ‘Lady y/n?’ you turned your head to face the maid. ‘Yes?’ ‘Luna Kim and Luna Byun want to talk to you.’ You nodded before getting up saying goodbye to the girls and leaving to follow the maid. You presumed that this was the friend that Mother was talking about to you.

So, you sighed and relaxed, before you walked following the maid further into another garden. You saw a clearing in the centre with a white gazebo covered in roses, ‘Just up there miss.’ The maid pointed towards the clearing.

‘Ahh there you are y/n.’ you saw Mother with another lady around the same age as her, she was tall had black hair and kind eyes. ‘Here is Luna Byun, of the southern isles. This is the friend that I asked that you should meet in the boys’ manor?’ You nodded in understanding. Before taking a seat next to Mother opposite to the Luna Byun, she smiled at you when you relaxed into the chair.

‘I can’t help but ask how you were so good, during the lighting of the torch?’ she asked gently not to make you uncomfortable. You looked at Mother before answering.

‘Well, I do archery as a hobby with my dad’s old archery kit. But horse-riding, I had done it once in my life, during one of my friends birthday parties, I was a natural. I had never told anyone that I did archery, one other person, Alpha Jeon-Kim Jungkook, he’s my best friend and we exchange these things. He must have told Mother, who suggested that I should do the lighting of the torch.’ You explained. Mother and the Luna nodded along.

‘Have you considered that you might have learnt the horse-riding when you a very small child like at the age of nine? Maybe might have learnt archery as well?’ Luna asked again.

‘No, I have never considered that…’ you turn to Luna Kim ‘Mother has this got something to do with my werewolf past?’ you asked her cautiously. She nodded before saying.

‘Luna Byun here is the only Luna here who has lost a daughter when the hunters came and started riots 17 years ago, across their werewolf sub-packs eventually attacking the head pack, she lost her daughter in the attack. She thought that she might have died when she had told her to escape beforehand, when she tried to find her, she could not. So, I wondered maybe since you might have had a connection in your stories, and through your abilities and through your stories you might remember together?’ you nodded in understanding.

‘Luna, I am sorry, but I am not sure if I recognise you but if you do have pictures, family tree or something related to your pack that I might remember it might jog my memory? I think, its your right to allow me to give you a chance’ you asked the Luna this time she nodded in understanding. Before grabbing a small cloak bag from under the table, with a crest of a moon in eclipse rising from the horizon of islands.

You recognised the crest from somewhere but didn’t cause any memories, you thanked her before curtsying to both before leaving the gazebo and into the garden before entering the field. Before making your way back to the girls, you called for a maid to take these back to your room. Before the girls pulled you to do some dancing.

The boys were currently following a herd of deer, hoping to grab one for the ball tomorrow. They were accompanied by the 8 deltas from when they first arrived with along with the Alpha Kim and Taemin. They were all on horses whilst the deltas in their wolves, walking along with the hounds. The other group of Alphas and their sons had split off to find other foods; roots, vegetables, mushrooms, fish, and other animals such as rabbits and pheasants, in the woods.

Once they had gotten the deer, they were on their way back until the heard a loud bear growl, they all widen their eyes to look at each other. ‘Half of you deltas, take this back to camp inform the maids. We will need a doctor to deal with any injuries. The others follow me see if we can help get rid of the bear.’ Alpha said. Jungkook and the boys along with Taemin and 4 of the deltas to follow their father into the wood smelling out for the bear.

Hoseok alerted the other on smelling something, Jin confirmed, and everyone followed afterwards. Once they got to the scene, they saw a large black bear, with sharp claws and teeth chasing away, the other deltas and beta who tried to attack it.

‘Alpha! Alpha Byun of the southern isles!’ Jungkook got one of the attentions of the nearby Alpha who seemed confused but sighed in relief before heading over to the young man. ‘Alpha Jeon-Kim Jungkook, Sons of Kim, Alpha Kim.’ He nodded in respect before he followed saying.

‘The situation is that the bear broke through from the northern barracks of the forest came from something or someone who is trying to attack us. We thought this because has a potion of some sort that makes it bulletproof from the arrows and the bullets. Its dangerous and it had a clear line of attack, first attacking Alpha Lee’s group and now attacking mine. Alpha Lee’s group is helping us now, just after they recovered. But the others have gone back to the manor to bring back reinforcements, but they are taking a long time, they should have been back earlier.’ Jungkook nodded in understanding before saying.

‘Alphas may I speak?’ the Alphas nodded whilst looking at him; ‘Should a small amount of us go back and see what the problem with reinforcement and bring them here? Whilst the rest of us stay her and find out how to deal with the bear?’ Jungkook suggested. ‘Jungkook that’s a good idea. You, Taehyung, Jimin and Hoseok stay here and help the rest of you help with the reinforcements, bring deltas who you might need.’ Alpha Kim said. The others nods to different deltas who nodded back and shifted into wolves before leaving, the rest of them stayed taking care of the bear.

Back near the entrance at the manor, the boys made their way the path that the other took to take to the manor. Jin then shouted ‘Stop!’ once they reach an unknown fog, everyone stopped. Jin wandered slowly on his horse before gasping turning to the side, grabbing flowers. Before bringing them to Namjoon who looked back at him with wide eyes. ‘Guys move around this fog; we need to get back to the manor bring masks with wolfsbane neutralisers, along with other reinforcements.’ They nodded before making their way to the manor. They saw the females were safe, they sighed in relief.

At the trombone horn sound, you and the girls turned towards the forest; the groups must have come. You walked over to them with happy faces but instead found their worried faces. No Jungkook present or the rest of the younger ones including Hoseok, and many of the other males.

They sighed in relief at you before saying ‘We need wolfsbane neutralisers, injections, masks and sprays, some rogues thought it was fun to plant a wolfbane mist near the entrance. Most of the wolves are inside so we need them fast otherwise we’d lose to them to their wolves. We also need a potion brewer for the bear that attacking the rest of the group with some potion we don’t know of.’ The girls made eye contact with each other, before Lisa said.

‘Take us! Seulgi and Irene know Potion brewing, we can use y/n with her archery skills and her other skills, me and Rose can help as well with the injured. It will take longer for the other servants to come and help!’ The boys nodded Suga said, ‘Seulgi and Irene go on mine and Namjoon’s horse, Jin can ride with Lisa, y/n can you ride with Rose on your own horse.’ The servant brought the mare, the one you rode earlier.

He also gave you another sheath of arrows, before handing the girls healing kits. The deltas grabbed the wolfbane kits, before you all rode back in the forest avoiding the mist leaving the deltas to deal with it. They promise to send reinforcements when they are done. As you rode further you grew worried about Jungkook.

As you got to the clearing to where they were fighting, Lisa and Rose got off helping the injured. Irene and Seulgi recognised the problem, and then started to brew the potion with their ingredients. You got off your horse who was taken care of by a delta nearby to be kept safe. You pulled the sheath of arrows off the horse before securing it around your body, grabbing your bow.

You went off looking for Jungkook, you found him in his wolf form helping another delta stuck in his wolf form. You headed over before, putting down you bow, before grabbing the healing bag around your waist, you grabbed something before putting in the wolf’s mouth he sighed in relief before his body started to heal again soon, he shifted back into his human form.

All that time Jungkook had turned back and looked at you confused ‘Why are you here?’

‘The girls said that they knew healing and potions to help with the problem. The other deltas got stuck in some wolfbane cloud that made them go insane apparently, so the other deltas went to go and help them with the wolfbane kits. I came here because the girls I said I had good archery & horse-riding skills. But right now, we need to focus on the problem.’ You said, before walking closer and hiding behind a boulder, looking over at the bear.

The great big black bear had a lot of fur meaning it came from a snowy area meaning it would have been isolated. ‘Where did that bear come from?’ Jungkook wondered. ‘Somewhere cold judging by the amount of fur.’ You replied, before, you started to think. ‘Have you injured it yet?’ you asked Jungkook who nodded replying,

‘Its weak on the underside just between the legs and the ribs we haven’t got the chance to hit it neck or abdomen. The rest of the fur is bulletproof, though.’ ‘Well then, we need to hit it at the neck or between the front legs and the ribs. Let’s make it stand on its back two feet. Then hit it with the arrows full of the potion, from Irene and Seulgi, to get through the fur, we can neutralise it before escaping from it. It should go back home, without a problem.’ You explained nodded to move before distracting it.

‘Girls tell me when you are done!’ you said, Irene nodded before they both continued to work quickly on the potion.

You distracted the bear along with the other dodging the attacks, the Rose and Lisa had healed all the fallen wolves, most of them were able to fight. Soon reinforcements from the cloud problem came and you managed to wrap ropes around the bear, restricting it movement.

Soon the girls shouted ‘Done!’ you quickly ran over with Jungkook, the boys came along soon after. You dipped the potion onto the 3 arrows, and you stood up.

‘Guys distract the bear make it stand on its back two feet.’ The boys nodded before signalling the deltas to pull on specific ropes, the bear moved accordingly.

‘I need to get closer… Jimin Taehyung! Backwards with me in a triangle formation of wolves!’ Jungkook shouted to his brothers, they nodded before changing into their wolves. You climbed on Jungkook’s back, before they sprinted forward when you were ready. Jimin and Taehyung ran around the bear confusing it, you then pulled on three arrows and pulled the bow and you released.

The three of them hit the neck and upper chest in a triangular shape broke through the fur. The bear started to wobble, Jungkook widen his eyes. And changed back to cover y/n who was standing behind him to shocked to move. There was a loud THUD and the great big black bear, fell on top of you and Jungkook.

The boys eyes widened in worry, the 7 of them with a couple of Deltas moved the bear off them. Rolling off the knocked-out beast, they could see Jungkook lying on top of you. -‘Hey Jungkook wake up!’- Jimin nudged him in wolf form. Jungkook groaned before getting off you. He woke up soon after blinked his eyes at the brightness, before he sat up, rubbing his head. The girls gave him water mixed with a health potion to help reduce the injuries.

As your eyes adjusted to the surroundings you had realised that you had moved away from the sight and was in another clearing, away from the bear. Only the boys and the girls were present you could smell, (which was weird) the other deltas out on watch a couple metres out. Jungkook sighed in relief that you were okay before hugging you, and you hugged back, taking in his scent. Thank god that was over…

Later that evening, you all stayed in your room excited for the ball tomorrow evening. And the next day, the ball dresses were adjusted for you so that, it fitted a bit more comfortably. Whilst you are waiting, you thought it was a good idea to look through the things that Luna Byun gave you to help you identify her as your parent. You recognised the little you in pigtails which you had seen around your house.

You remembered when you saw the pictures at home, you didn’t see a much younger you in the photos at home. Unlike the much more younger you in the pictures. Maybe that’s why your ‘parents’ didn’t want to take pictures of you were younger they made an excuse about it but never told you the truth.

You then began to see some pictures, as the same as your visions and your drawings, you are looking at the young woman and man who you seemed to recall. And then a painting of a small white wolf looking into a lake, it reminded you of the last picture that you took you gasped and realised, it must have been a younger you.

You started to have flashes of the vision, flashes of flames and men shooting arrows everywhere then you saw the small amount of blood on a wolf’s, legs making you black out of the vision. It started to make you dizzy so you closed the book debating to look at it in the afternoon and try to remember it then. You then took your turn to trying the dress and adjusting it around you before pointing out what changes are needed.

You walked back to your room with the girls. ‘Hey y/n are you okay?’ Seulgi asked, you nodded before looking at Seulgi and Lisa who were standing next to you.

‘I am fine I am having flashbacks.’ You said whilst looking at your hands. ‘What flashbacks?’ Lisa asked. You then explained what happen with Luna Kim and Luna Byun at the gardens and what flashbacks you were seeing; before you showed your sketchbook once you entered your bedroom again. Currently all the girls were listening in.

‘Seeing the baby pictures of me,’ as you gestured to the sketchbook you were holding ‘makes me think that Luna and Alpha Byun either knew my parents or they are my parents. And if they are there is a 33 percent chance that I might be an Alpha and if so, I could be dangerous for me.’

‘That’s also true this makes you a werewolf, because you can see things that humans are not meant to see, if your wolf thinks you are safe maybe you really are one of us.’ Lisa said happily whilst hugging you, you hugged her back and the rest of the girls too. ‘Come on let’s go to sleep. We’ll need it for tomorrow.’ Seulgi said, before going off to get ready for bed.

As you blinked your eyes open, your eyes saw a white fluffy wolf, as you blinked harder your eyes adjusted and you saw a white wolf. Her white coat having a pearl sheen, she looked at you before wagging her tail she had bright blue eyes. Your eyes turned to the surroundings, seeing that you were in a bright forest. You then turned to her and smiled at her, before bringing your hand to reach out to her. She walked to closer to you… once your hand touched her head, her eyes turned red before a white flash blinded your eyes.

Once your eyes adjusted again you turned your head to look around at your surroundings you were in the same place, but as you looked at your feet you found white paws. You started to walk around in your smaller furry form, from the different, much lower viewpoint. Then you heard a howl… it was a friendly howl, so you followed the sound.

You walked closer and found another with a black wolf, along with a young female, much bigger than you like 3x bigger. You realised that you were a very young wolf, unlike the previous wolf you seen. You then realised these were memories of the wolf you had touched earlier; these might be your wolf’s memories. They were happily smiling at you; you took this as a sign to walk closer. The wolf you were stuck inside, seemed to be affectionate to them on her own accord, you whined happily. The scene changed…

Then you saw red everywhere; you were in the wolf again, your eyes slowly adjusted to your surroundings again and your realised the red was flames. Flames so big that you couldn’t escape them, you whimpered. Then you saw a flash of black and you saw the familiar black wolf again this time he had red eyes, he comforted you. The larger male grabbed you by your scruff, and you went limp allowing him to take you to safety. Soon you escaped the flames seeing many other wolves and females, you ran to them they held you close, like family.

Then you saw the female again looking at you with sympathy and…sadness. You whined at her to cheer up, then you heard gunshots. All the wolves became agitated; you flinched and moved closer to the you moved closer to the female. She petted the back of your neck and face in sympathy, before she was shuffling you to another wolf, a russet wolf, with dark blue eyes. Another grey and white wolf nuzzled your neck with white eyes you responded with a small lick to them. Before you glance back at the female you looked at her in confusion. ‘Please keep her safe, beta. Make she finds a safe home. Priestess, hide her wolf she need to be safe hide her memories and her scent. She’ll find her mate and friends and then she can be herself again, she can come back home. My little moon, be safe I love you. Your father loves you. Your pack loves you. We are proud that you are…’ The scene faded to black again.

This time you were in an unfamiliar forest you could smell humans from a distance, but that wasn’t what you weren’t focusing on…you were looking at the bright auroras coming from the ground. You saw the brown russet wolf looking at you with sad eyes. Then you saw the old female woman with grey and white hair with white eyes, muttering chant you didn’t understand, you recognised her from somewhere.

Then you began to change you body began to contort in different ways you have never felt before you were in pain, you howled and whimpered again and again. Until you heard the final painful crack and you whimpered before the aurora faded you reaching out with a young human hand this time. -‘Hope to see you again y/n.’- the russet wolf said in a male voice whilst you faded into sleep.

You woke up with a start, you closed your eyes, to help stabilise yourself you couldn’t believe that happened you. Lied back down against the bed again, turning your body to face the almost full moon. And you heard in a faint voice:

-‘Family, home, and love. I am home, I can find my family, I have found my mate, my love.’-

~‘Wolf? Is that you?’~ ~‘Hello y/n I am Aiyana, long time no see‘~

Jungkook woke up early that day to excited not to sleep, he was going to propose to y/n after she had realised her identity. He was jumping around his room to find his clothes foe today, opting to let out his wolf and going to have run out in the wood. Once he was in his old clothes he headed out and walked towards the forest. He shifted into his wolf and started to run feeling free in the air.

~‘Wait! I hear something!’~ his wolf said. Jungkook could hear it too. He heard a small whimpering in pain, before cracking sounds were heard of a wolf changing? It sounded female. He walked closer hiding behind a tall tree looking at the direction of a sound.

~ ‘Is that y/n? She smells just like her.’~ Shadow asked. Jungkook nodded before walking close to the white wolf; -‘Y/n?’- the wolf’s head snapped in the direction of Jungkook, her bright blue eyes widened, before she walked closer to him, taking in his scent. She smiled and nodded.

~‘Jungkook! I am Aiyana y/n’s wolf. She can’t speak yet because she’s not part of the pack yet.’~ Jungkook nodded in response and snuggled close to y/n’s wolf form. She did the same thing, whining happily, before looking at him with her bright eyes. -‘Don’t worry, I am very happy y/n.’- she wagged her tail. Before nudging him to follow her, he nodded and followed her.

They ran until Jungkook, and you met a small cliff face, you stopped you started whimpering again shifting back into your human form you were wearing a white top. Jungkook got confused and sniffed the top, growling at the different scent.

He shifted and took off his top and handing it to you. You on the other looked at him confused, Jungkook turned around to give you privacy. And you changed wordlessly into his top, before handing the shirt back to him, Jungkook put on the shirt. Once he turned around, he grabbed your waist and pulled you so that you sat on top of his lap.

‘Jungkook we are no-’ you couldn’t finish of your sentence when Jungkook cut you off saying, ‘I don’t like another scent on you. I can hug regardless of that curse.’ You looked at him confused, but you could feel Aiyana rolling around in happiness, inside of you. ~’Aiyana why are you so happy about this?’~ you asked, ~‘You’ll find out later don’t worry’~ you sighed before hugging Jungkook back. You stayed like that until you felt the sunrise. You sighed again before trying to shuffle out of Jungkook’s grip, but he tightened hand around you. You whined again before saying.

‘Jungkook, we need to go now if we don’t want to get caught.’ You said, Jungkook whined before letting you go giving you a gentle kiss to your forehead before taking off the shirt before shifting into his wolf, he motioned you onto his back and you nodded. Before he ran back to the house.

Once you entered Jungkook was still in his wolf but was taking you to the girl’s corridor, you thanked him. -‘Y/n whose shirt was that?’- you looked at him before smiling, before throwing it to him. ‘Yours you gave it to me remember? It smells weird because it was in the wash, and I haven’t worn it in ages. No need to get jealous kookie.’ You chuckled whilst walking away. He sighed before walking back to his room. He shifted back in his human form he heard Shadow saying ~‘Well that’s just embarrassing.’~ Jungkook sighed before he walked back to the bathroom to get changed for the day.

1st January 2020

Once the entire ballroom was done and since the invitations went to the entire pack and close neighbouring packs about a week ago and the majority pack and neighbouring packs confirmed in attending the meeting of the winter solstice. The boys presumed that they wanted to attend because they could find their mates easily or they wanted to see who the next Alpha would be, the thought only made Jungkook more nervous about tonight.

It was a couple of hours later into the afternoon, he headed down the stairs again before heading outside, to the seating area, where the rest of the packs were present. He was wearing a white top with casual blue jeans, black polished shoes, with a black bomber jacket with minimal jewellery, all the other guys wore similar casual outfits.

Hoseok on the other hand in his sage green top and black slacks, unlike the dark mass that surrounded him. He was looking around to look for the familiar servant. Once he met eyes with him, he looked at him, the servant smiled and nodded. Hoseok smiled before catching up with the rest of the group, to sit at the front of the rest of the un-mated Alphas. He was eyed by Jungkook gaze, but he just smiled and nodded to him in greeting, before relaxing into his seat.

He heard before anyone else, the girls heading down the stairs. Jungkook’s shifted his gaze from Hoseok before looking behind him. Soon everyone gazes turned to the entrance of the manor. Jungkook eyes noticeably widened at the sight of his mate making Hoseok almost chuckle loudly at his reaction. He was right to react like that though.

You like Hoseok was also trying to contain your laugh at Jungkook’s reaction, your face contorting into a mischievous smile. You were wearing a plain beige short A-line dress, covered in lilac flowers. You were wearing the lilac necklace with matching rose gold earrings, hair braided and held by a delicate flower pin, you were wearing short comfy heels.

You and the girls wearing light coloured clothing, unlike most un-mated females, your colours standing out against the dark mass. You let out a small chuckle at the females reaction to you, but you put on a small smile unbothered by their spiteful stares. Once you took your seat you sighed in relief no one could smell your wolf.

~‘Aiyana you, okay?’~ you asked your wolf whilst closing your eyes, to hide your bright blue eyes when you communicated with your wolf. ~‘Yeah, I am fine, nothing to worry about. Why?’~ ~‘You probably must suppress the urge to run and play right, after so long?’~

~‘Yeah, it feel weird to hide for so long, but since I realised that our old pack was hunted because of our gene, and they had to hide me for a reason. So, we must wait until we are allowed to reveal our identity, which is annoying to say the least. Speaking of which…When do you think you are going to tell Mr and Mrs Byun is our dad and mum?’~ ~ ‘Some time soon, maybe at the beginning of the ball. But not right now, I don’t think the time is right.’~ You could your hear your wolf agree.

You opened your eyes again, looking around making sure to avoid Jungkook’s gaze, it was fun to ignore him, but you’d have to wait until after the ball to talk to him. Because you knew that both of your wolves wouldn’t hesitate to start talking about everything, gaining the attention of everyone.

You had to not speak to him, because of the extra precaution that you had to take. The girls helped you get ready today giving you scent suppressors, so it masked your Alpha wolf scent. You had to remember to keep your eyes closed every time you had to talk to Aiyana, since your eyes changed colour, which isn’t meant to happen with female omegas and deltas.

Because only the boys, the girls and Mr and Mrs Kim knew about your changes, since you had turned for the first time much earlier than anticipated. The female doctor came back early in this morning and confirmed you had Alpha genes, but she was currently doing a genetic test for your relationship to Mrs and Mr Byun, if they are your parents. She would tell you just before the ball.

You were scared to say the least you remember Jin’s words about all the species who wanted werewolf female Alpha’s for bad reasons. You were more scared about Mother’s words about what happens with the other un-mated Alphas males who was not your mate they would have a rampage to have you, for themselves.

You glanced at the Alphas who were looking in the direction of you and the girls, you widened your eyes and quickly looked away at their weird stares. Instead, you meet the eyes of Jungkook instead he looked at you worriedly, he could sense what you were thinking…

You smiled and nodded that you were okay and that you didn’t need help. If you needed help, you’d asked him. Jungkook turned his head nodded at you and turned his head towards the entrance you heard it too. The boys’ parents had just entered the gardens and headed the front of the gardens to give a speech.

Once they entered the front. They turned to everyone, this time Mother started the speech; ‘Hello everyone, welcome to the last meeting before the ball! Just as we predicted Legendary events have occurred in the time between this event as the last. But never mind that and lets focus on the current event and worry about these things later…we like to thank you for attending this event.’

‘In this event, the high priestess has allowed for meeting of both males and females to talk freely with each other, since we are at the day of the winter solstice. Thank you once again!’ Alpha Kim said there were several loud claps, and everyone started to get up and move around.

You headed over the drink area, needing to get a drink. You thanked the server for the drink before moving back to get back to your table. When you moved, people moved out of the way to let you walk through, you thought it was weird, but you still sat down. Rose was sitting to the right of you, she saw the phenomenon and pulled you away from your table away from everyone. You looked at her expectantly very confused at the sudden intrusion.

‘You need to control your wolf y/n! She is dominating people around you too easily.’ she whispered loudly to you. You widened your eyes, before closing your eyes ~‘I can’t help being like this, it’s the normal me!’~ Aiyana shouted at you. You sighed. ‘She does it because she’s an Alpha she can’t hide her dominance so easily. Now that we are 17, we are already matured enough so much so that our dominance has just started to reach its peak. She been hiding for a long time; she can’t always control herself. Sorry…’ You sighed.

Rose sighed before nodding patting your back before pulling you back to the seating area. You saw the girls eyes and they presumed that Rose told you something and kept quiet and started to talk about something else, you were glad they weren’t talking about those things in front of everyone.

‘Come on y/n Let’s dance!’ Lisa said to you, nodded before grabbing her hand as she pulled you to the dance floor. It was a simple waltz going on with the Alphas and Lunas dancing with each other. Lisa pulled you and you followed her lead through the waltz, she was a bit more of a jumper, you smiled and laughed at her antics. ‘You okay y/n? You seemed spaced out today.’ Lisa said noticing your dazed out expression, you smiled and nodded, before replying ‘I am just really excited that’s all for tonight. I am excited for you girls to find your mates, maybe excited for me if I really do have one but I don’t think that’s true.’ You said whilst looking down.

‘Hey, cheer up I think there are enough guys more than willing to dance with you respectively, during the waltz maybe I can ask one of our pack deltas or maybe one of the boys to dance with you, they’d be happy dance with you?’ she asked you smiled and nodded saying that it would be nice to dance with someone who was willingly enough to be nice and dance with you.

Since you were so shy you weren’t really into dancing with a bunch of strangers, having been able to talk with the boys and some of the deltas at your time here you think it would be okay to dance with one of them if the circumstances does come up, but you knew that you’d be more than comfortable with the boys.

But you couldn’t dance with Jungkook since he must be looking for his mate, you can’t be his mate, even if you wish so hard. You could never be his. Once the song had ended you curtsied to Lisa who smiled and did a gentlemanly bow. You smiled and laughed a little at her antics, she reminded you of what the boys would do when they’d finish dancing with you.

Speaking of the boys, Hoseok made his way over to you and handed his hand to you. You widened your eyes before smiling at him accepting his hand. He lead you through the waltz, ‘So what do you think?’ he said smiling. His dance style was more a prancing happily around the centre ‘You were right about this dress Hoseok, Jungkook’s face was so funny.’ You giggled remembering Jungkook’s gobsmacked face at your dress.

‘I am glad you two are talking again. But before I go, I need to tell you something…This evening after you had talked to Alpha and Luna Byun, come back to the ballroom, surprise is waiting for you.’ He said winking at you before letting you go with a spin; leaving you more confused than before.

And one by one you got through 3 songs with three of the hyungs of the group; Jin next, Suga afterwards and finally Namjoon; each giving you a piece of advice near the end of the song before spinning you off at the end of the song or in the middle of the second verse to the next person…you were playing pass the parcel at this rate…with you as the parcel.

You closed your eyes tight after Namjoon spun you away, until you met with a strong chest, you looked up seeing Jimin holding you. He smiled, ‘Hey mini.’ You slapped him playfully, since you were shorter than him, he like to tease you with that nickname. He smiled before pulling you to the dance floor dancing with you, finishing of the last song with you. Jimin kept you in his hold pulling you into another dance this time a graceful waltz came on, you were spun a turn whilst Jimin kept his eyes on you.

Soon you were just gliding on the spot in silence until; ‘Y/n look behind to your left.’ Jimin whispered into your ear. You turned your head to find Jungkook looking at you with grumpy eyes. You giggled again. Jimin smirked at him before winking at him. Jungkook just got more mad, you could see him visibly shaking. You laughed a little more loudly at the reaction.

It was in the middle of the second verse of the song, and Jimin whispered in your ear, ‘Good luck with Jeon.’ and spun you away just like Hoseok did, you giggled and hit another chest expecting Jungkook but saw Taehyung instead grinning down at you. ‘Here.’ He said whilst grabbing a drink that they waiter was holding, before passing it to you.

You thanked him before finishing of the drink. All that dancing made you tired. You gave it back to him, he placed it back on another waiter waiting plate before he pulled you into the rest of the dance. You laughed at his dancing style, a very large mix of turns and spins depending on the pace of the music. ‘Well did making Jungkook jealous work?’ you asked knowingly.

‘Well judging by his very angry face I think we did a good job. We had to convince him to take you dancing but he said, ‘What if-’ this and that and we got tired and took the opportunity to annoy him by taking turns, to take you dancing.’ ‘Did make him dance with me because…’ he placed a finger on your lips whilst saying. ‘That’s for him to answer.’ He said before giving you a small smile, before spinning you off one last time.

You landed in the arms of Jungkook, when you looked up at him, you saw the doe eyes already looking at you. You smiled at him, whilst he pulled you back on the dance floor. The song was slow paced and was encouraging for couples to come up and dance.

Jungkook in response guided your hand to his shoulder and placed his hand on your waist. He gently grasped your left hand in his right pulling you closer by the waist. You gasped at the close contact but rested your head against his chest. You could feel Jungkook’s low growl in appreciation, you smiled and patted his shoulder before leaning away again.

‘Care to tell me why you didn’t want to ask me for a dance?’ You asked whilst raising one of your eyebrows. ‘I didn’t want to curse you or something. You might find your mate in your new situation. I only wanted what was best for you.’ He explained, you nodded before saying, whilst resting your hand on his chest near where his heart was.

‘Well let me tell you this…I wanted you to ask me to dance, this might be my last time to dance with you as your best friend. I was going to reject every guy who was going to dance with me this time, but I just had to dance with the other guys to get your attention didn’t I?

‘To be honest I don’t care about this curse or whatever thingy-majig that could stop us from dancing with each other. Let’s dance with each other as best friends and worry about the consequences later…Hmm?’ you asked.

Jungkook chuckled at your childish talk and nodded before guiding you through the dance, making your way to the centre. Chatting like how normal friends do, ignoring the endearing and jealous looks casted your way, unaware of the dangerous and happy events that might occur that night when the moon is at its closest to its children.

chapter 5:the werewolf heartthrob

Pairing: Werewolf! Jungkook x Unknown identity! Reader ~(severely unedited: started 02/05/2022 ended 01/06/2022)~

Wednesday 29th December 2020

Soon you had your entire bag packed again, with the extra shopping and the necklace. You headed downstairs with the bags. Then you met everyone in the dining room, eating breakfast. You smiled before sitting down in between to Jungkook and Hoseok, who both smiled at you. And you started to grab the food off the plates at the centre of the table. Once you had finished your food everyone cleared up the table and the kitchen. Getting the last stuff ready, finally locking the doors.

Before heading the two SUVs to head to the Kims house. Jungkook was sitting next to you at very back, whilst Jin was driving and Suga was in the passenger seat. Jimin, Rose, Taehyung were sat in front of you. Namjoon, Hoseok, Irene, Seulgi, and Lisa were in the other SUV. The road was a 4-hour drive with a break in between at 2 hours. You sat tiredly in your seat, Jungkook smiled at you before pulling your head onto his lap before saying ‘Sleep.’ You nodded before closing your eyes and let the sleep take over…

Soon someone was nudging you and you woke up from your sleep, to find Jungkook looking at you. ‘We are at the pit point. Time to get up.’ He spoke. You nodded, before sighing and getting up tiredly before following Jungkook out of the SUV.

‘Hi y/n.’ Hoseok greeted you cheerfully. You tiredly lifted your hand up, Hoseok giggles before hugging you, and you responded tiredly. Jungkook smiled at the two of you, before hugging you from behind. ‘Hey guys, rather than hugging please come over, we are getting lunch and snacks.’ Irene called. The guys nodded before Hoseok locked the car door and followed you and Jungkook from behind. -‘Hey, is everything ready, for them?’- -‘We will get it done by tomorrow, but someone might have to get the last-minute parts ready, though’- -‘That’s fine, find someone and let me know.’- -‘Okay sir.’- Hoseok smiled happily at the couple in front of him soon they were going to be together. Thank you moon goddess for this, Hoseok thought as he looked at the sky above. ‘Hoseok, I know you like the sun, but I think you need to come if you don’t want to miss out on food.’

Once you headed inside the pit stop you looked around and saw the rest of the group, and you pulled Jungkook’s arm towards them. ‘Hey guys what are you getting?’ you asked as you approach them. ‘Burger for lunch and a drink with a small snack for now.’ Everyone decided.

You headed over to Starbucks to grab a drink. Jungkook followed, both of you order a caramel macchiato Jungkook paid. Before the both of you walked to the shop, to buy some snacks, before you both walked back to the main restaurant and grabbed your lunches.

And headed back to the sitting area, where the rest of the guys are. ‘Hey.’ Lisa said and you sat next to her. Jungkook sat beside you whilst grabbing your hip and pulls you close. You looked at him confused but looked at the direction to where he was looking.

There were some boys around your age looking at your group at you and the girls, more specifically at you. Since you were not east Asian. You raised your eyebrow at them, they turned away once they got caught. Jungkook smirked before looking back at you.

You smiled at him and pulled out the snacks from the reusable bag. Before handing some of them to Jungkook, he thanked you before to the rest and you did the same for you. Once you did look up from the group, they all looked at you ‘What? Are you all worried about me again?’ they all shook their heads. ‘No, we are just glad that you are okay now.’ Jimin said and the other followed by nodding once you got convinced you started to eat your snack. ----(❁´◡`❁)----

Once the rest of you had finished you guys headed to the cars and drove away, in the same cars. You listened to music whilst catching up on your reading whilst Jungkook was playing games on his phone with the boys.

Was until Jin pulled up onto a clearing, before riding on a bumpy road following Hoseok who was driving the other car. You saw everyone switch off their devices and started to look around excitedly and you got confused Jungkook who was next to you whispered, ‘We are in the pack borders.’ Your face morphed in understanding before you took out your own earphones, storing them away into your bag.

The boys then parked inside a parking lot isolated from the road. The guys got out and pulled out the baggage, Jungkook handing you yours whilst Jungkook grabbed his smaller bag, the boys did the same. Their bags were light since they already lived here so they didn’t need to pack a lot.

You followed them into the forest, before they reached an isolated clearing, and put down their bags waiting. You looked around confused but Lisa beside you said, ‘Some deltas, and a beta are coming to pick us up and help with the bags.’ You nodded.

Soon you heard shuffling and you turned your head towards the right as did everyone else and you saw a group of 9 wolves running in your direction. You gasped when they shifted behind bushes before emerging out of the fern beds, walking to the rest Namjoon and Suga walked forward before greeting the leader(the beta) with a tight shake of a hand. Jimin embrace two of the other wolves who grinned back at him.

‘Hi Namjoon, long time no see, Suga.’ the beta said in greeting. ‘Hi Taemin, girls this is one of our older cousins Taemin, our mothers are related.’ The beta, Taemin nodded to the each of us, before pausing on me before nodding his head slightly lower than the rest of the girls. You were surprised to say the least but nodded your head in greeting. Taemin smiled at the boys before he signalled the deltas to grab the boys bags. You wondered what that’s all about.

The boys all walked away before hiding behind the trees, but this time a group of 16 wolves. Jungkook came forward and nudged your calf and you smiled at him. Jungkook –‘Bag please’- you gave him the bag and he grabbed it before kneeling and you climbed onto his back feeling the familiar fur before wrapping your arms around his neck.

The deltas moved into a circular formation around you and Jungkook specifically, while the rest stayed within the larger circle. Taemin stayed in front so he could navigate back to the central town. You held on tight Jungkook fur tight before Taemin, and the Deltas moved in a sprint and the others followed.

You were running for about 5 minutes, until you got through a couple of gates, which weren’t really gates by forcefields -‘It’s to protect this pack since this is the main pack’- Jungkook sensed your confusion, you nodded. Later, you met an actual gate in 10 minutes. Taemin, signal for the gate to open and you walked through.

You ran the fields of crops a couple of wagons walking by people on them waved to you the girls waved back happily, they were happy. The girls had told you they had visited the boys’ pack before, it felt like visiting home. You kind of felt like it but it was a very normal feeling. Not much was happening, but you guess that once you get to the main town it will be more busy and more exciting.

Once you approached the final gates, Jungkook and the boys stopped, and you took it as a sign to get off. Some of the deltas left to head somewhere handing the bags to the boys. Whilst 4 of them and who you presumed was Taemin changed into their human forms led you through the final gate.

Jungkook was walking beside you and you could hear him panting with sweat. So, you gave him a water bottle he smiled while thanking you before drinking, he passed other one to the rest of the boys. Jungkook whined ‘It’s been so long since we ran like that, the last time that happened was during basketball practice, the holidays made us coach potatoes.’ ‘Well then you are going to have to work hard in the future.’ You chuckled.

You were now walking past on one of the main streets. There were dress shops, grocery shops and many other shops; you smiled at the happiness surroundings. The nearby wolves but widen your eyes when they all turned and bowed to all the boys. However, some teenager girls around your and the girls’ age gave you looks which you recognised from school, looks of envy.

You looked at your hand which Jungkook was holding, and you slowed down, Jungkook looked at you curiously. You didn’t meet his eyes but looked at the nearby girls who just walked by looking back at you with envious looks, Jungkook immediately understood.

Before pulling you close and so that you were walking close with the girls. One look from Jungkook, and they understood. Soon your attention was diverted to them, and you started to smile again. The girls were happy that they gave you a sense of comfort.

Jungkook on the other hand walked with Namjoon, before telling him and Suga what was happening with you. Then you heard a loud rumble, you looked around curiously, but turned your head up ahead at the Alphas of the group. Their eyes are blood red as they looked at the nearby people; you turned to Irene who looked back at you with equal confusion. Until you heard through the mind-link much louder signalled to the whole pack,

-‘Leave her alone.’-

You widen your eyes, when everyone in sight bowed to your group whilst muttering sorry before going on with their daily activities. You then darted your eyes to Jungkook who looked back at you before winking, causing you to blush and you saw that smirk of his. Irene nudged you before, smiling at your face, she hugged you before the two of you followed ahead with the boys.

Once you got into the inner town you saw larger buildings. You guess some was part of pack conference and governance buildings, with the men and women walking in and out in suits. They all whispered when you all walked by you felt nervous and walked near Jungkook who held you close. Everyone gathered in a close formation.

Until you all headed to another direction, and saw a large manor house, so big that it looked like a castle. With 4 large domes, two medium ones on the side, whilst a smallest one in front and at the very back the largest dome. The whole style was a Georgian style a big difference to the boys’ manor which was larger and more modern.

There were two guarding deltas at the entrance, they opened the door, and everyone went inside. The boys walked up to th front door already seeing a butler waiting for them. ‘Hello, sons of Kims, welcome back.’ ‘Hello Kyunmin and thanks.’ Jin greeted with a smile in which the old butler returned. Hoseok smiled at Kyunmin before gesturing to Kyunmin to me, who smiled at me before looking at Jungkook ‘Ah this must be Lady y/n.’ you smiled and nodded. Kyunmin bowed you in.

Everyone headed inside, desperate to escape the cold. The maids came to grab your bags, you nodded in greeting the maids nodded, bringing the bags upstairs. Kyunmin smiled at the boys, his eyes glowing silver. ‘Your father will return soon from his meeting, in the council. Your mother is on her way from the walk in the gardens. They have asked that you settle in the sitting room to wait for them for tea.’ Kyunmin, the boys nodded and lead the way to the sitting room. Every turn around the dome, you were sure that you were going to get lost, so you stuck close the group.

The sitting room was a lighter tone to the rest of the house, in baby blue and pink, with some highlights of green and grey. Whilst the rest of the hallways, are in the beige limestone colour that you’d usually see in the Georgian era. You sat down whilst Jungkook sat next to you. The boys scatter around some talking others or walking around admiring the room, the girls were doing the same.

There was a knock on the door and Jimin walked over before opening it and found the trolley with the tea. Jimin moved it to the centre of the room. And you all headed to get a warm drink, you a tea and Jungkook coffee.

Soon a couple of sips and chats later, the doors opened to reveal Mr and Mrs Kim or as you like to call them Alpha and Mother. ‘Hello everyone.’ You all smiled at them. And you started to discuss preparations for the ball.

‘Well, the ball room is closed off for decorations, the house is getting more of a larger clean, your dresses will arrive tomorrow, and if you need changes our tailors will change it for you, in the morning. Everyone is going to arrive tomorrow on the 30th in the afternoon, we have asked for a simple evening dress appointment in the morning at the tailors. So, we can dress up nicely in front of the guests in the dining hall for an evening get together the night after.’ Mother explained.

‘The day after the 31st is a day out, the ladies will spend time together. As will the gents, who will get the hunt for this winter solstice’s ball. The ballroom will be finished by then. The next day the 1st of January we will have a teatime at around 2:00pm to 5:00pm to wish everyone good luck and to help the new visitors of the pack. The winter solstice event starts at 8:00pm with dancing and each of you will be introduced to the packs.

After some time Jungkook, I will announce you as the new Alpha of the pack and I will explain that you’ll take over after a month when you finish your graduation at your school, your crowning will take place at that point. Then the first proper dance will happen. And the ball will officially close at 11:15pm leaving the moon at the highest point. We do another ceremony, for your good will Jungkook, and the night ends. Everyone will leave tomorrow afternoon. Will you be staying afterwards?’ The Alpha explained before looking at the youngest male.

He nods before saying ‘We will be leaving 4 days afterwards the 4th we are leaving. We need a couple of days to recover from travelling and then we can attend school, since school will start the 11th of January.’ He spoke. The others nodded. ‘Well then I suggest you head back into your rooms and get ready for dinner, and head straight to bed and I shall get room service for you.’ Mrs Kim said.

You walked tiredly, but the girls lead you down a different corridor. You looked at Jungkook curiously, but he just smiled and said, ‘See you later…’ before he followed the rest of the boys. Rose and Irene pulled you along with them until you met with a door, the rest were waiting for you. ‘Well, aren’t you going to open it?’ you asked as all of them were touching the door.

‘Well, the doors are moon bonded with the residents of the house. It for the who live in this room and all the other room for the unmated females, so us all included, for our safety if necessary. We all must touch it for it to open officially. But then we can then now open it separately after we all touched but then only by us, personally.’ Seulgi explained. You hesitantly nodded and touched it and the door unlocked. The room was larger than what the shown from the outside, there was enough room for a sitting area, tv area and a large enough bedroom with a very big wardrobe enough for all of you.

You looked around the room in wonder, but you still had questions unanswered. ‘Wait why did the boys have to go in another direction?’ you asked the girls who had already settled down. ‘The boys and any man for that matter, must not speak with the ladies of the house or any unmated female until the evening dinner begins. It’s bad luck.’ Lisa explained but you looked more confused.

‘Well, when we enter the evening dinner all the werewolves senses will increase dramatically because of the moon’s almost perfect position, allowing for us to find our mates much more easier, when the moon is at the highest point. When we meet them before the dinner, since the moon is not in the right position, it reduced our chances of finding our mates and then we must wait till another solstice or another important event/season.’ Rose said.

‘When are there other event/seasons?’ you asked curiously. ‘Well there is a solstice every season in the middle of the season like the first of January, being the winter solstice and 15th June being the summer. With the 5th of April being the Spring and the 1st of October being the Autumn. Then there is ones that occur every certain no. of years. The blue moon, the dark moon and the red moon. Those are random and can only be seen by night creatures, like werewolves and vampires. We werewolves don’t celebrate during the red moon, the vampires do. But we bond with the vampires to keep the peace between the two species on the dark moon. The blue moon is when we celebrate, it comes every 10 yrs. This new year being the 10th year. It usually occurs with a new Alpha is crowned, the high priestess of all packs. Predicts it would come a month after Jungkook coronation for being Alpha, he will hold it here, being the new Alpha. Since he is the newest Alpha of the country.’ Irene explained whilst grabbing a new pair of Pjs from the closet.

‘So, you mean there are other Alphas?’ you asked surprised ‘Oh yes, our pack and all the sub-packs within our pack, are part of the 1 of the 150 packs in this country, we keep and bond with new allies and keep an eye on enemies, during the Blue moon. It’s more of a politician’s thing rather than being an actual party.’ Seulgi said

‘Why did the Kims decided to host the winter solstice, over the other packs?’ ‘We take turns in choosing who does what. Since the last council meeting Alpha Kim has asked personally to the entire council to host the ball. Since he’ll be deciding the new Alpha, he is now old and needs to step down, and that he’ll do so on the night of the ball.

‘So that Jungkook can get ready for being Alpha. Now come let’s change quickly so we can get room service.’ Lisa said. Everyone nodded, before they walked around quickly desperate to have dinner and fall asleep ready for the big day tomorrow.

29th December 2020

It was weird to say the least you had not talked to Jungkook for the last night, and the entirety of the morning. Jungkook was feeling the same thing, but he could sense you that you were okay, but a bit anxious, about meeting the packs later this afternoon.

Jungkook was roaming around the house and was about to go on a morning walk until an old lady with white hair and ash-grey eyes which was unusual compared to her tanned skin walking towards him.

At the sight of the lady, he bowed deeply to show respect. ‘Dear young Alpha you don’t need to be so polite.’ She said tenderly bringing him up into a hug. Jungkook sighed into the hug reminded of his mate ‘It is fine dear Great Aunt after all, you are my family, but you are most importantly the high priestess.’ She smiled before patting him. ‘Well, aren’t you going to take me on a walk?’ Jungkook chuckled nodding before holding out his hand and walked out the front gate walking into the grand gardens of his childhood home.

After some time, his great aunt needed some rest, so he allowed her to sit on the nearby bench and sat next to her. ‘My dearest nephew, what are you thinking about but most importantly who are you thinking about?’ the older woman asked the young man sitting next to her. Jungkook turned towards before smiling and looking at the box in his hands that held the ring. ‘I am to propose to my mate this ball.’ He said gingerly.

‘Oh, you met her! My you do grow up faster than the rest of your brothers. Your mother told me…she is your best friend, isn’t she? why are you so scared then?’ ‘What if she rejects me Auntie? We had a fight earlier, when Mum and Dad attended on Christmas day, it was so bad she slept in the forest for the whole night. I was so scared, and now that we are on good terms, but I don’t think she wants me.

From what everyone is saying she doesn’t want to believe in some things and other times she does. She’s the true Luna, my true Luna, if she’s not there or if she doesn’t accept, I don’t know what to do.’ Whined while looking at the older women again ‘Does she know that she’s a pure-Alpha-blood werewolf?’ the priestess asked again. ‘She’s a pure werewolf and an Alpha as well?’ Jungkook asked. The older women nodded. ‘She’s from a deceased Alpha bloodline. It’s part of the prophecy.’ And soon she recited the prophecy, the prophecy that was told many times throughout many generations. ‘Who have you also told this too?’ ‘Only Hoseok, after all he is helping me.’ Jungkook got more confused, but then a lightbulb occurred. But when the young Alpha looked for his Great Aunt, the priestess, she was never to be seen.

Once Jungkook made it back to the manor he saw the girls coming back from their appointment, in the village for the evening dresses. He saw y/n he was glad. That she seemed okay but tired it must be her wolf. But he stayed at a distance to stop the said ‘curse’ and only entered when the girls were gone. As he walked around the halls, he made his way to the study, to find Jimin, Namjoon and Suga there. They all looked at him surprised. ‘What’s wrong?’ Jungkook asked his hyungs.

‘Well, we were just talking about what changes you might make, when you are Alpha.’ ‘Well…I haven’t really thought about that, but I do think I might have to discuss with all of you in the future, you and the rest of the guys and the girls as well. I listen to my pack rather than think about all the things myself, it won’t make me a good Alpha.’ The boys smiled and nodded before they started to talk about different things.

Little to say you were tired, very tired, even though you’d very awake right now. It was weird to say the least you never get tired, made to do the work of the house since you were little from your ‘parents.’ But today you felt as if your whole body was aching, you weren’t on your period, since you were due in another week, but you never had in ages, but it don’t make sense.

You wondered whilst you changed into some jeans and a white satin top with a pink sleeve-less jumper on top, before slipping on your black shoes, whilst tying up your hair into a French braid you pulled out a couple of hairs, before putting on some petal earrings, slipping on a watch that one of the girls got you for Christmas.

You headed back into the living room where the girls were waiting for you. You grabbed your shoes from the shoe stand near the entrance. And put on the socks inside and shoes before sitting and waiting whilst looking outside.

‘Guys, the boys said its time to go.’ Irene said, whilst adjusting her collar-neck black top, the rest of them nodded before walking downstairs and to the entrance hall. They saw the boys and nodded to them before standing on the left side, whilst the boys were standing on the right. Jungkook was wearing a white button up with blue ripped jeans, and some black bulky trainers, he was looking at you, while you looked back at him.

‘You, okay?’ he mouthed, you nodded, before smiling timidly, little to say you were scared, to meet the leaders of other packs, since you don’t like talking to new people you were scared. As a result, you stood between Rose and Irene, whilst Lisa and Seulgi were on the far side, you were grateful that they were near you.

They had told you beforehand that you only needed to bow to them and look down to show respect, if they came and talk to you which is unlikely. You just bow or curtsy first before responding using their title like Alpha (last name) and answer there question truthfully. But that wasn’t going to happen, since they were more likely to ask the boys questions.

Soon the Alpha and Mother arrived, to stand in their positions, the maids remained behind you and the girls, whilst the male servants behind the boys, you’d presume they came because they would lead the un-mated individuals to the same corridors where the rest of you resided. And that the mated would walk down the corridors of the Alpha pairs and other free corridors, allowing for safe movements between mates.

Once the doors open and Kyunmin announced the Alpha and Luna of some pack with their kids, along with their beta and deltas in command. You bowed to them, before looking down. This was repeated and again, you had remembered that only 20 of the packs could attend for the entire event, because the others were busy, or wished to celebrate the solstice alone as many packs do if they can’t travel far to the hosting pack. But there will be more people attending on the ball, 90 people specifically .

Later that night Jungkook and the boys were getting ready for the evening dinner. ‘Excited?’ Taehyung asked whilst he adjusted his striped, black shirt to Jungkook who was tilting his head from side to side. ‘Kind of, but I really do hope those unmated-girls who are daughters of those Alphas leave us alone they are so annoying sometimes.’ He groaned before looking at the box he held in his hand, he was carrying that box everywhere with him, scared to loose it, almost as if he’s scared to loose you. The other chuckled and nodded.

Jungkook was wearing a dark blue suit with a white button up shirt with various rings on his fingers with his ears decorated with earrings, with his polished black shoes. ‘Come on let’s go.’ Namjoon said looking at his watch. The guys nodded before leaving, their room, all wearing casual pieces of clothing.

Once entering Kyunmin announced ‘Sons of Alpha Kim and Luna Kim.’ Everyone looked in their direction from there seats before nodding towards them. They nodded back before walking to their seat in the front of the un-mated males, to the right they saw the un-mated females and behind them the Alphas and the Lunas.

Most of the un-mated females were giggling at them before whispering to each other especially towards Jungkook, but he rolled his eyes before focusing to the front waiting for his mate to appear. This was a surprise to everyone nearby, since Jungkook was the sort to allow the girls to stare at him, but not bother to get rid of them fawning over him. As a result, a great murmuring occurred. Jungkook caught the eyes of Namjoon looking at him -‘What?’- -‘Be careful we don’t want rumours spreading.’- Jungkook nodded understood what Namjoon exactly meant. Jungkook wasn’t allowed to reveal he was Alpha yet and if anyone had heard y/n was an Alpha werewolf female, and not a human there would be a great big problem, an uproar.

Many people would want their Alpha sons to be betrothed to her, and every daughter to be betrothed to him, irradicating the mating system. He had to make her his; before everything is revealed otherwise there would be big problems.

Just then the doors opened again before Kyunmin said ‘Lisa, Rose, Seulgi, Irene and y/n, ladies of the Kim pack.’ Jungkook whipped his head before looking at his mate, before looking at her gobsmacked. Y/n looked around at everyone before smiling at him, before curtsying to everyone.

Y/n was wearing a Navy A-line off-shoulder dress, he skirt in tulle material covered in gold stars and constellations, her bodice in a dark navy satin, her tiny waist shown by the thin gold belt around her waist. Rose and Lisa were wearing two variations of pink dresses whilst Irene and Seulgi were wearing 2 variations of red dresses. Meaning that y/n stood out from the rest with her cool-dark coloured dress.

One by one you followed each other to the front circular table, reserved for you. Jungkook’s eyes were on you the entire time, and you blushed at the thought. You admit you went a bit over the top for the dress, since your were wearing a choker, you never wear them at all. But the girls insisted this along with the minimal make up you were wearing. They decorated you with constellation earrings, and your hair braided in a wreath around your head which were held with star pins. With your hair cascading down your back.

Once you sat down in your seat you had realised that you were sat facing the un-males on the far-right side of the room facing left. Each of them looking at you and the girls smirking, and you got nervous to say the least. But when you met the eyes of Jungkook you visibly relaxed whilst smiling at him, who was opposite you on the boys table. Jungkook smiled back at you, relieved that you were okay. You both exchanged a silent conversation with your eyes, before breaking away, to look around.

Jungkook smirked at the other males, who looked at him in spite before he chuckled. Before looking to the front stage. Taehyung and Jimin looked at the younger one in confusion was about to ask him but they both went silent when they saw their parents waiting to speak, the rest of the hall went silent as well.

‘We are gathered here today for three days until the winter solstice to witness, the next generation of werewolves finally to meet their mates and to make good connections between the packs. But also, to witness who will be taking over as Alpha after me, I will reveal this on the night of the ball. But for now, please enjoy today and tomorrow for good fortune for this new year as we celebrate the 2021 winter solstice.’ Alpha Kim raised his glass high in the air. Everyone clapped and cheered loudly but Alpha Kim had put his hand up to silence the crowd once again.

‘We also hope to fulfil something great in this celebration, to fulfil the great legend before the very eyes of everyone in this room, we hope that you’ll be patient enough to watch.’ He gave a small wink to the boys and the girls at the front. Before the entire crowd cheered again, but there was a loud murmur growing, due to this statement. Jungkook nodded to his parents, who nodded back at him before looking around towards his hyungs and started to chat waiting for food to be served.

‘What are you so happy about Jungkook?’ Taehyung finally asked. Jimin looked at the younger one curiously. ‘I am glad that y/n trust me and that the girls trust us; rather than those other unmated males.’ He spoke. ‘What was the silent conversation you were having though?’ Jimin pondered the younger one.

‘Y/n’s health, she doesn’t seem to be herself lately. I asked if she was fine, but she says she’s okay and that she’ll be better tomorrow, I don’t believe it though.’ Jungkook said whilst thanking one of the waiters, who was pouring him a drink. -‘Is it her wolf, possibly breaking free?’- Suga wondered. -‘Possibly, but let’s not dwell, we will talk about this later.’- Jimin said. The boys nodded, Jungkook stole a glance at you before focusing on the food in front of him.

Meanwhile you were eating, Lisa was looking between Jungkook and you. ‘Y/n what’s wrong?’ Lisa said. ‘Nothing is wrong.’ you said a little to quickly. She raised her eyebrow expectantly. You sighed, ‘Before you start freaking out, please can you promise me to keep this secret.’ The girls nodded before looking at you with rapt attention.

‘My entire body is aching, but this is not meant to happen. My body doesn’t usually react like this. I haven’t had my period, in over a month. I am getting worried if its got something to with my body aching. I have never felt like this before.’ You explained worried. ‘Maybe it’s got do with something simple, let’s check with the female pack doctor and the Luna first.’ Lisa reassured you. And you nodded hopeful that it’s nothing serious.

After the dinner you and the rest of the people in the dining room walked towards, the sitting area. The sitting area was crowded, you and the girls walked to the corner of the room. You sat down on the seats whilst the other girls sat or stood around you. Jungkook was nearby with the other guys looking at you worriedly, you just smiled and nodded towards him.

Soon and well into the night, Mother had wondered over to you. ‘Well girls are you enjoying?’ you all nodded, ‘Y/n are you all, right?’ she asked when you visibly paled. Jungkook noticed and instead of listening to Jin’s antics (his dad jokes) he directed his hearing to you.

‘My body is aching, I have no idea why though?’ you spoke quietly, but Jungkook picked it up immediately as did the other boys, you stopped speak abruptly catching the attention of the other people, scared you looked at your fingers.

‘Do you want to get a pack doctor, preferably a female?’ Mother pondered you just nodded not feeling well to speak. ‘Let the girls take you to your room, I’ll tell my husband. Don’t need to worry, you have done nothing wrong. The doctor will come to your room.’ She says whilst she patted your shoulder nodding to the other girls before she walks away.

You and the girls walked away into another door, little to say everyone noticed and wondered what was wrong. Jimin looked at Jungkook worriedly; ‘Jungkook don’t think to much about it. If you want to go, we can’t, we must stay because of the rumours, remember.’ Jin whispered. Jungkook sighed before looking down at his glass.

In your bedroom the girls had helped you get changed and helped you onto the bed, you sighed tiredly. Just then the door opened revealing a female servant and the female doctor. She walked towards you and smiled a kind smile. ‘I am just going to do a regular check-up and then I’ll make up a diagnosis.’

You nodded to tired to speak and she started. Once you’d finish with the check-up, she sighed before ticking several boxes on a piece of paper. She then looked at you and asked then asked the maid to bring the Luna. She nodded before walking back to the sitting room.

Eventually the Luna came, and she sat down at the side of your bed holding your hand. You smiled and held her hand. The doctor then looked at the two of you then at the girls before saying.

‘I have made up the diagnosis for you miss y/n. Even though this is rare, your regular body temperatures and other normal body regulations are high however, you seem healthy. So, then I moved onto the werewolf diagnosis and there I saw some positive diagnosis correlations. You are having werewolf traits, which is not correct you seem to identify yourself as a human. However, when I checked for a wolf through spiritual connection I saw a small flicker, trying to break free. I think you may have a wolf y/n, I don’t know exactly how, but you do have a wolf, you might be just a normal omega or delta.’ She explained as she goes through the papers, checking over things.

‘How would I have a wolf; I have human parents?’ you pondered ‘They might not be your real parents. At least that what the diagnosis says. Your wolf might have been hiding for a very long time either due to a traumatic experience or something else, causing you to separate with your family, breaking the bond between you and your wolf. Now that you are once mingling with your kind,’ she gestured to your friends and the Luna

‘for about a month or two, your wolf thinks it safe and now its trying to break free. I suggest you allow it to break free. You can fondle the bond between the two of you, and re-bond again, I believe it the right thing to do. Have some cinnamon and honey milk before bed you’ll be better tomorrow. Thank you, Lady y/n. Thank you, Ladies of the house. Thank you, Luna.’ With that she left, with a bow.

You looked at everyone surprised. How do you tell the boys? How do you tell Jungkook? The girls were looking back at you surprised, but they had happy tears in their eyes, you looked at Mother who was smiling at you

‘My dear, this is good, you can be happy, truly. Maybe if you wish you can move into this house, I think its best if you are away from your parents, after what they had done to you. You can then possibly find your real parents?’ she smiled at you. You nodded glad to get away from your ‘parents’, away from all the stress.

‘How do I tell Jungkook and the boys?’ you asked. ‘I’ll tell them don’t worry I’ll think they’ll be ecstatic. For now, rest you got a big day tomorrow. I’ll get one of the maids to do the milk.’ Mother said before leaving. The girls left to go back to the sitting room and soon you were left alone. The maid came again to bring your milk and gave it to you. You thanked her and drank it all before giving it back to her before she left and said goodnight. You felt tired and decide it was best to fall asleep.

Jungkook and the boys walked away to their bedroom and entered before they saw their Mother. ‘How is y/n?’ Hoseok asked the woman in front of them she smiled and nodded, Jungkook sighed in relief. ‘You were right Namjoon, she’s strong, she has a wolf spirit, she is a werewolf. She’s all right in her general health, her biological conditions are well, and they are werewolf’s normal conditions.

‘So, in context, she has a normal health, her biology is coping with the new changes. The doctor say that she has a done a spiritual connection test and there is a spark a small one, so she doesn’t know yet if y/n’s an omega or a delta. She told me personally it could be an Alpha, because of the prophecy we have predicted.’ She explained…looking at her youngest son, who’s wolf was literally jumping around happily.

‘Why did her wolf hide, for so long?’ Taehyung asked, whilst sitting down, the rest followed, except from Jungkook. ‘The doctor said it was due to some traumatic experience, which y/n might have experience while she was young. I think it’s the separation from her real parents.’ Mother said. The others nodded ‘Will she be there for tomorrow?’ Jimin asked.

‘She’ll be fine. She just doesn’t need to strain herself too much, but she should be fine. She might be zoning out though a bit. Since she might try and contact her wolf, since its nearing the height of the moon. I need to get going, so see you all tomorrow’ Mother said. Everyone nodded and walked away to get changed. Jungkook however, stood in the same spot. ~‘She has a wolf!’~ his wolf, Shadow, shouted happily. ~‘That means she can understand us now, she might accept us a little bit easier though now.’~ Jungkook sighed happily. ~‘How about we show how amazing we are tomorrow on the hunt, and I can try and contact her wolf?’~ Shadow suggested. Jungkook nodded before finally walking to get changed

chapter 4:the werewolf heartthrob

Sorry I made this part angst the next part is angst as well, but the last part is fluff I promise.

Christmas day 25th December 2020

After what happened yesterday at Lunch, Mr and Mrs. Kim seem to be avoiding you quite a lot and Jungkook was a little more overprotective of you when they were around and Jungkook always kept you by his side.

But there was a time, when Jungkook had to go to Namjoon’s study for a meeting about the pack with the rest of the boys. Jungkook made you stay in Namjoon’s room with the girls while this happened. The girls could hear things through the mind-link that Jin opened just for them, but the girls didn’t tell you what was happening in the study making get worried about Jungkook. But it was kind of more entertaining to tell them of the story about yesterday’s afternoon with your outing with Jungkook.

‘That just reminds me of Lady and the Tramp, the noodle scene.’ Lisa awed. You blushed again.

‘Hey, that’s good though right you can get closer together. But let’s not dwell on that since we still have next week for the holidays, since we are all staying here. The parents also invited everyone in their house for a large formal party, to celebrate. Its for Winter Solstice on New Years eve, at the parents’ manor at the end of the week on Friday evening next week.

‘The boys told us to tell you this, that’s the reason for the parents visit, but also to assess you for some unknown reason which is why the boys won’t let us tell you anything, we were wondering if you’d like to come?’ Rose explained

‘Yeah, that’ll be fine, besides my parents are not here and they don’t care about what I am doing. So yes, I think I’ll come. Is that why you asked me to pack my things lightly? It’s on New Years Eve but that so soon?’ you answered before looking at Irene for your answer. She nodded.

‘Wait you said formal… does that mean? big puffy princess dresses? I don’t have any though?’

‘Well then, we can go dress shopping for you?’ a voice said from the door. It was Jungkook, he was leaning against the now open door.

‘Really?’ you asked as you looked at everyone before looking at Jungkook.

Who nodded before replying ‘The girls need new dresses as well, and some of the boys do including me, so we need to make up time for it? According to Namjoon we are going on Sunday, and we are going to get the dresses delivered to the manor on 31st December. But right now, it’s Dinner time.’

Soon everyone started to leave since you were the last one to leave you were about to close the door, but then Jungkook suddenly grabbed your hand and pulled you in the opposite direction and lead you to his bedroom instead.

Once the both of you entered the room Jungkook closed the door before pulling you onto the bed with him and he pulled you close so that you were hugging he wraps his hands around your lower waist, whilst your hands wrapped around his neck, you were confused by his sudden affection, but hugged him tightly anyway.

‘What’s wrong?’ you asked. Then you felt the wet tears against your chest, you then got more worried. ‘Jungkook, what going on?’ you said trying to see his face.

‘Let me hold you for a minute.’ You sighed and nodded before wrapping your arms around him, before adjusting him so that you were leaning against the headboard, and he was against you.

Eventually Jungkook’s tears stop, and he leant back so he could sit properly, and you sat up whilst looking at the boy’s face. His doe eyes were red from the tears, but he seemed fine.

‘Wha-’ ‘Namjoon made a big decision in the meeting room he wanted me to tell you about it since I will include you in the future.’ You nodded but wondered how that’s got to with Jungkook crying. You looked at him with rapt attention…

‘I am to be next Alpha of the entire pack, including all the sub packs, Namjoon would be the next sub-pack, Alpha.’ He stated, you looked at him with wide eyes.

‘But I thought since Namjoon was the favourite of your parents, he would get the top Alpha spot?’ you questioned. Jungkook nodded before replying;

‘Namjoon, thinks I am a better potential Alpha of the pack, since he’s just brains, he said, I know apparently how to make a better judgement.’

‘But that’s good, isn’t it?’ you asked, confused.

‘It is but, my parents think it’s a good idea, I was warry about that, but they trust me, so it’s so that’s all. They also said that they were going to say everything to the entire pack at the winter solstice, hence why my family is holding it this year.

‘Then Namjoon explained these things to the rest of us about what he showed to our parents last afternoon after the dinner problem, even though all the boys were present they didn’t see what Namjoon gave to our parents. That was things he explained to us. It has got something to do with you, but Namjoon said it was my decision to tell you.’

‘So, are going to tell me?’ you asked; was this the thing he was talking about me being involved in the future?

‘No not yet…’ he said while looking at our intertwined hands.

‘But why? Why can’t I know? The girls keep on talking about me being involved in every single secret thing related to everything in this pack, the pack that you now own.

What’s the point in saying I’m always involved why can’t you just say these things to me?’ you asked with a little desperation in your voice.

‘It is to protect you y/n! If you knew, then this could mean very big dangers for the pack and you, especially our relationship y/n!’

‘Why can’t you tell me things for once I trust you Jungkook, with everything, including my life, right now I am doubting our relationship, our friendship. You are just pushing me away, Jungkook you should just tell me I am already too much into this werewolf life. What’s the point in staying if we kept secrets from each other, big dangers I already knew there was big dangers for when I joined didn’t I?’

‘No, I can’t tell you y/n, trust me I do I want to tell you everything, but just……right now I wish I never asked Namjoon if we could go to your school just to see how it was like. If that never happened, I would have never met you, otherwise none of this would have happened!’

You gasped at his proclamation, before getting up and standing far away from him. Jungkook’s eyes widen comically in worry and pain before trying to say sorry stuttering on his words and try to hold you again, but his movements were restricted. But you weren’t having it you made distance between the two of you every time he tried to close the space.

You could see he was trying to fight his wolf because his eyes changed from brown to white then to red, you wanted to help him but those words he shouted at you stayed in your head the whole time.

‘Jungkook-’ he looked up to meet your eyes. His eyes were a mixture of all the colours all showing the same emotion, regret, but your eyes didn’t meet with the same emotion. They were the same cold that you gave him on the first day you met him, you gave him those same cold eyes.

Jungkook got more worried at the sight in front him, your eyes were cold, and you cowered away from him, just like the first day he met you…his mate. Your shoulder sagged forward… you were giving up. Jungkook got more worried

‘Stay away from me, don’t try, and talk to me again, since that’s what you want, I’ll stay till your announcement but once we get back home, we are not talking to each other anymore. Congratulations Jungkook, on being Alpha I hope your mate is proud of you.’

Then Jungkook saw your eyes.

One emotion.

With that you grabbed your snowshoes and ran out the room down the stairs and out the room, quickly putting them on, and ran out the front door, closing the large heavy door with a loud slam.

Jungkook didn’t try and stop you, you were hoping he would, but you didn’t see him. He really meant those words then. You ran and ran you didn’t know where you were going but you were going somewhere.

Jungkook on the other hand was still…silent and unmoving. Head throbbing, ears with a ringing sound, with the same words repeating in his head, Until he heard his wolf shouting to snap out of it, that his mate.

His true Luna was running away he had to find her, kiss and love her, apologise to her and make her happy before telling her everything.

But he wasn’t listening his mind was elsewhere, he was remembering the last look in your eyes trying to interpret what it was, but his stupid brain wasn’t working. Just then Hoseok, Namjoon, Jin walked through the door looking at Jungkook with a matter of urgency. They just started shouting at Jungkook, but he wasn’t listening to that either, all he could hear was his heartbeat, nothing else. Hoseok then grabbed and hugged him from behind, that snapped Jungkook out of his trance.

Then it hit him.

Your eyes show him how much you love…no loved him and his stupid decision came in between the two of you and now…he has broken you now…he had almost broke the bond.

You were going to be gone forever, and there was nothing he could do about it, he wouldn’t have his mate, his only right by his side.

Comforting, loving and euphoric y/n wasn’t going to be with him.

He fell to the ground, crying his eyes out. His shoulder wasn’t there for him to cry on. He cried and cried, he couldn’t comfort you give you home, he couldn’t protect you.

The boys could only look at the youngest, in pain and worry, who is crying as hard as a waterfall. They already knew what happened, but they couldn’t imagine what it was like to lose their mate almost for ever. But they wondered where you went and all they wished for that you were safe. But they also wished if everything would go as planned…

Will you accept that your parents are not the same parents you meant to grow up with?

Hello everyone, this is a different chapter to what I would usually write but it still relevant.

two best friends, all the other friends could only sit and watch

they hoped that this was the straw for their two friends.

To finally love each other, and care for one another.

After all unbeknownst to the girl, but to everyone else

she is the True Luna.

And her best friend and lover, is the True Alpha.

They are always one but never are divided.

Once the Winter Solstice eve approaches,

when the True Alpha has shown his valour

Whilst the True Luna finally meets her real parents

Then when the moon shines bright that night,

It was the next day, you had stayed at Sejun’s house for the night before, that’s what you always did after all. The pain of your parents was sometimes too much, and you ran to Sejun’s house. This time she gave you food and she allowed you to sleep on the couch which opened into a bed when needed (due to the full house, usually you were in the guest bedroom), and you told her everything and cried yourself to sleep.

Sejun was awake the entire night worried about you and Jungkook. She was calling Jin to come and pick you up. But you heard and ran out the back, you didn’t want to see any of them you wanted to stay alone. You eventually made it to the forest; tried to go to the ceremonial cave since it was warm there. When you got there, you saw Taehyung and Jimin waiting outside. They looked tired considering it was at that time 2.30am in the morning, they were probably all looking for you.

Maybe not all of them… You felt a lone tear fall from your cheek, you quickly rubbed it off.

You groaned quietly before quietly walking away and found a nearby cave and stayed there. You slept until you felt a cold nudge at your ankle, you gently woke up to find Hoseok there in his human form. You were surprised to say the least; but remembered Hoseok was the tracker of the group since he had the best sense of smell.

But Hoseok wordlessly held out a hand to you grabbed it but when he was about to pull you up, you then you pulled him back down on the ground, before crying into his shoulders. Hoseok just smiled and hugged your shoulders and patted them.

‘I’m scared, what would happen to us?’ You spoke. Instead of answering he says,

‘I know, I am worried about the two of you. But you need to sort out your feelings on your own, Jungkook already knows his, he misses you. But its your choice to forgive him, come let’s go home.’ You nodded before turning away so that Hoseok could turn into his wolf.

You felt a nudge on your leg and turned around to find a rustic wolf with grey highlights. The wolf then motioned towards his back, you climbed on him. He was smaller than Jungkook but still could hold you, just fine. You wished you could stop thinking about him.

Hoseok then ran back towards the house. Along the way, Hoseok stopped, and you could recognise Jin, from his kind white eyes, in his greyish-silver almost white wolf, with a couple of grey highlights. He was the second-best tracker, who you presumed went looking for you as well. Jin then greeted you and Hoseok, before leading the way back to the house, Hoseok following behind him closely.

Once you could see the house in sight, you saw everyone waiting outside for you and Hoseok. He was their as well, even from the distance you couldn’t mistake the tired doe eyes looking back at you with the same desperation as the ones you saw last night after he argued with you. You hated that you cared, you then turned to the girls, they had tears in their eyes, now you felt bad.

Soon Hoseok stopped and leaned down allowing you to climb off him. The girls crashed you into a hugged; you hugged them back gratefully. Lisa helped you walk since you were tired from running all night, you had finally realised your muscles were dying from exhaustion. But still you then walk to Jungkook, who was surprised you came to him and he quietly sighed in relief that you were okay.

‘I hope you are happy.’ You said not meeting his eyes, you knew if you’d met them, you’d cry in his arms. You didn’t want that to happen you wanted to be strong; to show Jungkook what he lost.

You then walked to Jungkook’s parents who just so happened to come to see you, which confused you more, but you still went to them. ‘I hope Jungkook finds his mate, and I hope that she meets your standards, without a problem. Can you at least promise me this?’ they nodded timidly before looking at each other.

‘I know that this is not the best time considering the situation, but I hope you can forgive me and my wife, though you are human, you truly know more than we do, you accepted our sons and the girls for what they are; I hope you can find peace now.

‘As a word of advice: we hope you forgive our son however, when you come to the winter solstice, we hope you can accept who you are and accept our son.’ Alpha Kim said.

You raised your eyebrows confused before nodding and with the help of Lisa and Rose, and everyone headed inside. Jungkook could only look where you were in front of him, and only wished he could have confessed, but what Namjoon said, ‘it was too soon, she needed to sort out her emotions, he had to wait.’

Jungkook then entered the house, the girls were taking you into the living room. And the rest followed, Jungkook stood far away from you, to give you space. But he could feel through the bond that you were exhausted and tired, he kept quiet while looking at his feet. He wasn’t listening to what Namjoon asked you, but he head shot up when he mentioned his name; ‘-Jungkook’s room and stay there or where do you want to go so you can be alone?’

You then said, ‘I can stay downstairs on the cou-’ Jungkook widen his eyes, before saying

‘Don’t sleep there, I will, you can sleep on my bed, after what happened I felt like I deserved it…’ he said before walking upstairs to grab his stuff before walking back downstairs before putting his things away neatly into tv room.

‘Oh, moon goddess, when will she love me, when will she forgive me?’ he said, whilst wiping the stray tears away. Before walking back to the living room finding only Jimin Taehyung and Hoseok there making food, he presumed y/n had left to go upstairs to rest, she needed it.

He walked over to Hoseok, tired from last night, he back hugged he smelled y/n vanilla scent faintly on his left shoulder. Hoseok was surprised but he turned around and pulled Jungkook to the living area, before sitting on the couch allowing the younger one to hug him, whilst who settled on top of the older boy.

‘I’m scared what if she doesn’t accept me?’ he looks at Hoseok who smiled.

‘Y/n was thinking the exact same thing when I found her in the cave, y/n is scared, meaning she doesn’t know what she’s feeling. I feel like its her wolf was waking up after years of dormant, that means she can hear things and see things we can only see.

‘The one thing I advise you to do is to show that you miss her, try and talk to her and allow her to slowly allow you into her boundaries. Talk to her about things that makes her happy and comfort her. Then on the night of the winter solstice ball after you have been crowned Alpha find her and ask for her hand in a dance, she can’t say no to the amount of people watching.

‘Once you have finished the first song ask her to stay for the next song and once you see the signal, then make way for the willow tree, and you’ll find the field. And confess to her everything, there the moon goddess will assist you, and shine on you, then she will understand.’ Hoseok explained to the more confused Jungkook. ‘How can you be so sure?’ he enquired

‘I have something planned. Just do as I say, you’ll be with her in the end, I promise.’ Hoseok smiled his mischievous smile.

Sunday 27th December 2020

You had recovered from the exhausted muscles, that you had just 24 hours later. Though Jin had predicted longer, you still recovered fast much to your surprise. You were still sleeping in Jungkook’s room whilst he slept on the couch downstairs. You were worried for him even though you tried not to be worried about him, after what he did on Christmas.

Due to your need of space Jungkook had left you alone, but there was subtitle things you’d notice he’d do. For example, he’d to do your chores, (without having been asked) that you as a group decided to do during on your first day here. He’d make the rice by himself whilst you were cooking with Jin, he’d lay out the table himself when you’d ask other members to do it, he even cleaned it afterwards. You’d also notice, a warm comforter placed on end of the bed, when the bed was too cold in the middle of the night.

He’d clean up the terrace every time the snow came, all by himself. Without the members even though they insisted to help, so you could all have hot chocolate outside covered in blankets, which was your favourite thing since you became friends with the boys.

Cuddle up in blankets, laughing at memories, you’d made. You were all outside in the terrace, in the cold, in both your coats and blankets. You could see Jungkook alone in just his jacket though the members asked him if he wants to cuddle with them to keep the both of them warm, but he refuses every time. You however had a the most fuzzy blanket covering you to help you warm up and in another coat that one of the boys had lent you. Since you were just human, you didn’t have the warm enough body temperature.

Many of these little things you’d notice, but every time you’d take a glance at the man doing those things. You’d see the same doe eyes looking back at you, with hope and the same emotion you’d seen many times but regretted seeing when you were ignoring him. But now you understood, longing.

He was trying so hard you thought. Though you weren’t meant to, you’d here the boys talk about how Jungkook is trying hard to get your attention. But they go silent whenever they can sense you are listening.

The parents were going to leave tonight 2 days after Christmas day, they were different to say the least. They were also trying hard to show that they are good people. Also mentioning Jungkook occasionally, when they did, they’d talk about the things that he’d do when he was younger.

You’d caught yourself smiling whenever, Jungkook did something good or funny, but you always caught yourself.

You were also curious, but you were also going to ask them, about how the boys; Jimin, Yoongi, Hoseok and Jungkook got adopted into the family, because of their different last names e.g., Jung-Kim for Hoseok and Min-Kim for Yoongi. But they said that was the boys who had to tell you about it, not them, you nodded.

Finally, when they did leave, to go to their home to prepare for the ball. The boys’ Mother hugged you tightly before letting you go, you widened you eyes, but hugged back. She smiled at you gesturing to take you to the study.

‘What is it Ms Kim?’ you asked cautiously.

‘Please call me Mother. I have something to tell you, during the events of the ball. I hope to wish you to introduce you to on of my close friends, if that’s all right with you?’ you titled your head curiously but nonetheless nodded in response, you were glad she accepted you. Then Mother brought a box out of her handbag. Before handing it to you, you looked at her curiously, she smiled and beckoned you to open it.

Once you did you saw a rose gold chain necklace with a lilac-coloured oval gem, glittering under the dim room lights. The fastener that was covered in rose gold leaves covering the at back of the metal part of the pendant. You smiled gently at the necklace before looking back at Mother, who was smiling back at you.

‘This was a gift from my own mother when I attended my first ball, and her grandmother gifted this to her when her first ball happened. Since I don’t have any daughters, I wanted to give this too you I hope you will accept it as a thank you gift and wear it for the ball?’ You curiously smiled.

‘But why for me can’t you give it to one of th-’

‘I wanted to give it to you, you’ll see why soon.’ You nodded and thanked her again, re-joining everyone in the living room. Soon saying the official goodbye to the parents. They left in their Land Rover with their security whilst the rest of you walked back inside.

Jungkook held the front door out for you just nodded at him, before you walked upstairs with the girls to get changed to go shopping. Jungkook sighed at your figure sadly, as you walked up the stairs. Once all the girls and you were done with changing, they sat in Jungkook’s room waiting for the boys to call you downstairs for leaving. The girls were silent to say the least.

‘What’s wrong now?’ you asked them

‘We don’t want to make you anymore mad right now…’ you raised your eyebrows but signalled them to go on. ‘We think that you should try and forgive Jungkook…though you think we are saying this for the wellbeing. We are just saying it because we are worried for you.

You’ve changed y/n you’ve become more silent even around us and it’s scaring us. You were so happy and free when you and Jungkook were close, we only want you to be happy right now you are just being too silent, and we all think something is wrong.’ Rose said. The girls nodded.

You looked at your hands before saying ‘Though I do want to forgive Jungkook…I just don’t think it’s the right time for forgiveness, yet but I am sorry I made you felt like that.

I was worried that you might hate me for breaking down the pack because of the argument.

I thought I was protecting you.’ They smiled before nodding before hugging you, you wiped your face. You didn’t know that you were having tears across your face.

Eventually you heard Hoseok calling for you and the girls. You headed downstairs before heading outside into the 2 SUVs to drive to the town centre. The town centre was large enough to allow large brands inside a 3-storey shopping mall, a popular place for the younger population of the town. The boys had booked an appointment for you and the girls, at the dress shop, and you separated since the boys had to go to a different shop for their outfits.

Once you entered you went to the receptionist who put down your names as attended, she pointed in the direction you needed to go, and you and the girls headed towards your suite. There was a lady waiting for you girls. She smiled at you before saying. ‘I am Sara, I am your host for today. What’s the occasion?’

‘Big family gathering.’ Irene said. Sara nodded before asking;

‘Who wants to go first?’ Seulgi excitedly put her hand up and she and Sara left to go and try out some dresses.

Eventually all the girls had chosen their dresses. And now it was your turn, you followed Sara into the ensuite. ‘So, what type of dress are you looking for?’

‘An A-line dress, lilac and with rose gold patterns. I have piece of jewellery with me that my mother gave me. She wants me to wear it, so it must match with it?’

Sara nods before walking away through another door and said, ‘Change into the bathrobe and wait here, I’ll get you the dresses.’ You nodded and she closed the door. You quickly changed, before putting on the bathrobe, whilst waiting for Sara. She had then opened the door and brought three dresses in.

Your eyes then focused on them, ‘So do you have any preferences so far?’ Sara asked. You nodded before pointing to a lilac dress. It was a long sleeved, with bell cuffs, it had a deep v-neckline and was tight, till the waist before cascading into an A-line gown. The back was the same as the front, but a deeper plunge all the way to your lower back. She then helped you to put on the dress and you walked out to show the girls. But wasn’t expecting any of the boys to be there including Jungkook, who looked stunned at you.

You looked at your fingers shyly, and the girls awed. ‘It looks nice, but it doesn’t sit right with us. I think rather than going lace for the top try satin and try tulle for the skirt. I think off-shoulder would be better.’ Irene said. The rest of the girls nodded. And you turned around to face the mirror, and you did agree. Everything was to much overdone on the dress, but you did want to show Jungkook a different side of you, a side of you without him. So, you headed back to the changing rooms, to pick out one of the other 2 dresses.

You saw an off-shoulder dress, and you decided to try it on. Sara helped you to head back outside and you helped you up on the platform. You did like this dress, but you thought the design on the rose gold pattern wasn’t good. The girls also agreed and said the pattern was too simple.

Hoseok saw that there was a problem in choosing the dress, so he asked Sara ‘Excuse me. Could me, Jimin and Taehyung find a dress for her? And of she wants, she can come with us?’ you looked at the boys curiously, but they just winked back at you. ‘Yeah sure, I’ll come along with you to help you navigate around the shop.’ Sara explained, You smiled and nodded.

The boys with you(who was back in your own clothes) walked to the back of the shop, to see the dresses. One by one in turns, the boys showed you dresses that were like your preferences. Until Hoseok, Jimin and Taehyung went further back into a shop and found a dress together. You couldn’t tell a lie to say that the dress wasn’t beautiful it was drop-dead-gorgeous, one look on your face, the boys handed the dress to Sara.

They navigated back to the sitting area whilst you headed back to the suite, to change.

Once you put on the dress you gasped. It was the right shade of lilac and had the right type of A-line, off shouldered, and the entire thing was decorated in rose gold wreaths designs, more prominent at the bottom of the dress, like the necklace. And most importantly it had pockets!

‘Oh wow…’ you said.

‘Oh, wow indeed, this is one of the dresses that I couldn’t find in that maze, thank god your friends come to help.’ She chuckled before she helped you to the sitting room.

You stood in front of the mirror in front of everyone and smiled ‘This is the one, hands-down.’ You spoke.

You were happy smiling and everything, everyone was happy for you could also see Jungkook smiling happily but you could see that he was actually smiling sadly at you through the mirror. Good, you thought he’s thinking about how much he is missing you. You turned to the people behind you, and everyone gasped. ‘Well?’ you said. ‘The best one.’ Hoseok, he said before high fiving the younger boys who helped find the dress.

The girls nodded before you stood in front of the mirror again asked ‘Rose, can you get the necklace that Mother gave to me before she left.’ You opened the box and Sara helped you put on the necklace, it sat snug against the base of your neck. The boys gasped in response instantly recognising the necklace at once. The girls already knew about the necklace, since you told them earlier today when Mother gave it to you.

You smiled at the each of the boys and some of them showed tears in their eyes at the sight, you did understand why they were crying, but thought it was a better idea to leave it for when you got back home. You gently stole a glance in Jungkook’s direction, who was crying, whilst looking at you. You gently smiled happily that you moved Jungkook, and you didn’t know why; but you knew well.

Once you paid for the dresses and asked them to be ordered to the Kims address before the 1st of January. You and the girls decided to wonder around the shops since you all had to look for bags, shoes, and jewellery. On the other hand, the boys also wondered around elsewhere, since they needed to buy some things as well, they didn’t tell you girls though. So, all of you were just wondering what was going on what was going on inside their heads.

Meanwhile while you were all thinking, Jungkook and the boys were on their way to a specific shop that their parents recommended to go to buy, a present for Jungkook to use when he confesses to you at the ball. But also, as a traditional thing for mates to do when they find each other. Both members give each other jewellery as a sign of a promise to be with each other, in any way possible.

Hoseok and Taehyung were leading the way, but Jungkook and Jin looked worried when they were walking around at the same time looking frantically,

‘What’s up guys why do you look so worried?’ Yoongi asked also getting the attention of Namjoon, who was walking with Yoongi. ‘I started to smell, vampires, what if the girls are in danger since they are alone?’ Jin said worriedly to Namjoon who tilted his head to smell.

‘I do smell them, but just looks as if they are walking by, not doing anything. If you want, you can give a warning to Irene to give us a text when theirs trouble or when there is vampires. The two of them cautiously nodded before they followed Namjoon and Yoongi to catch up with the rest of the group, who was waiting at the shop entrance.

They entered the shop, the boys waiting to look at the jewellery on display. Jimin was nearby inspecting the silver jewellery he was probably going to get a silver necklace again. Whilst Jungkook like usual, went alone deeper into the shop. He was wondering what type of jewellery to buy you, a necklace seems too obvious, bracelet sounds to formal for like friends only. A ring! Like a promise ring that he’d always protect you no matter the circumstances of your relationship with him.

He wondered over to the ring section. And was looking through a selection but none of them didn’t fit his standards. Just then an old female employer said, ‘Are you looking for a ring for your mate?’ Jungkook looked up quickly wary of the lady. Who just smiled before she reveal a small pack mark on the base of her wrist? Jungkook nodded in relief before showing his own.

‘I have been waiting for you, your mother, told me that you might be coming today. Do you want to have the rings exclusive for our kind?’ Jungkook nodded, and so the lady grabbed a section hidden from underneath the display. Jungkook looked at each of the rings, before he focused on a specific ring before saying ‘This one, please.’ The lady nodded before grabbing the ring and gave it to Jungkook who then inspected it further.

It was small oval shape like his Mother’s necklace; with the same rose gold band, but the leaves wrapped both the band and the base of the jewel. The jewel itself wasn’t an Amethyst like his mother’s necklace though, it was a moonstone. This one specifically was a rainbow type; all types of moonstones are sacred to werewolves.

Used to reflect the emotions of a wolf, but also to reverse the effects of the full moon when they turn into wolf hybrids. Also, to show that a werewolf is in a relationship or when they have found their mate. He smiles at the beauty of the gem reminding him of you. He nodded before saying ‘I think my mate would like this one, do you have in ⅹ size?’

The old lady nodded before grabbing a box and put it inside a bag before heading to the counter and scanning the barcode. Jungkook then paid through his card and thanked the lady ‘I hope you treat her well, young Alpha.’ Jungkook nodded before leaving with the rest of the boys. Then they started to wonder to the other shops.

A couple of hours later you and the girls had finished and headed to the exit and the boys were walking back according to a text from Namjoon. Whilst you and the girls were waiting you heard ‘Y/n!’ you then turned around and saw Nik the school’s playboy, you rolled eyes and started to walk away. ‘Hey y/n I am trying to talk to you!’ he said again this time he was louder meaning he was closer. ‘Leave me alone, I don’t want to talk to you.’ You said angrily.

‘Well, I don’t want to waste a good chance to talk to you.’ He said smirking.

‘Well what do you want?’ you asked.

‘Well, I was wondering if you want to hang out with me and my friends, next week on any day you want?’ you looked over his shoulder and saw a couple a couple of guys and girls, the mean people of the school. ‘No.’ you said, before raising your eyebrow at him.

‘Aw come on princess…’ he whined, you could him open his mouth and you saw two white teeth that were pointier than the rest, he’s a vampire, oh shit…

‘I am staying with Jungkook and his friends over the holidays, I don’t need you to ruin it. So do me a favour and get fucked off with some other girl, rather than getting into my pants.’ Nik friends wolf-whistled in response, Nik was looking annoyed. You rolled your eyes, before turning away and was about to leave…

‘Well, a little bridie told me that you and Jungkook had a fight, on Christmas day in the evening and you ran out the house, so rather than hanging out with him, hang out with me…we can have much better fun time, more than him.’

‘That’s none of your business…it’s just a normal fight like what normal friends do. I don’t need a person like you. Jungkook knows how to respect women do not treat them like toys, he knows to be patient rather than just hit on a girl whenever you feel like it. Leave me alone, I am happy at this point on my life, I don’t need anyone, not even you or Jungkook. I can decide when I need a man in my life, its my choice not yours.’

He grabbed your hand and pulled you, so you were in front of him your back against him, he wrapped his hand around your waist and made his face towards your neck. Your eyes widened in fear, you looked around, but the girls weren’t there since Nik’s friends had them restrained by back-hugging them, just like you.

‘Well then, I must make you mine then…’ he whispered before grabbing your neck.

Jungkook was on the escalator, when he heard Irene message Jin, the problem. Jin’s eyes widen before showing the text to both Namjoon and Jungkook. Jungkook clenched his hand before he looked in the direction of the problem, seeing Nik confront you.

The boys quickly exited the stairway before heading towards you, Jungkook could hear ‘…I am happy at this point on my life, I don’t need anyone, not even you or Jungkook. I can decide when I need a man in my life, its my choice not yours.’

Jungkook felt tense at the thought of you saying those things, but he had to save you. He could ask you these things later, you were right though, you needed space. His eyes darken to their reds when he saw Nik back hugging you with his fangs out…oh now Nik was going to get his medicine.

Just as you felt a graze against your neck, someone wrenched him off you and you collided into a warm chest, you looked up and saw Jungkook his red eyes glinting, at Nik. ‘Leave her alone, you bastard.’ He spoke. Before he pulled you away whilst the guys helped the rest of the girls. You all walked away to the car and headed back home with your shopping.

Once you got everything inside the house, you were dragged upstairs by Jungkook and he closed the door to his bedroom, you remember what happened when you were alone in the same room with him. You got nervous and was about to leave but Jungkook held your hand tightly but not to hurt you, ‘Please stay…’ he whispered.

You widened your eyes but nodded and said ‘Okay’ quietly. Jungkook looked at you, but you didn’t return the eye contact. You were scared, and Jungkook whimpered quietly in response, but he held your hand to caress it before he thought carefully about this next movements…to make you comfortable with him again.

Jungkook then gently pulled your hand and lead you gently to let you sit on the windowsill, while knelt on front of you, trying to look into your eyes. You sat down on it still not returning the eye contact and instead looking at your hands in your lap. Jungkook sighed gently caressing your cheeks.

‘Look at me y/n.’ he said. You lifted your head and saw Jungkook on the floor, you looked up to the same doe eyes. They were worried and another glint in them, but you didn’t understand what that meant. You had never seen it before but mixed with worry this got you more nervous.

‘Are you okay?’ he asked. You nodded.

‘Let me see your neck.’ You removed you hair and showed him your neck and Jungkook sighed in relief at the sight. You looked at him curiously your eyes asking for an explanation, but you were too afraid to ask, afraid it might happen again. ‘Talk to me, y/n.’ he said.

‘Why are so worried?’ you cautiously asked. Jungkook sighed before explaining ‘Nik, who you might now know is a vampire. And like we have packs vampires have clans. Nik is the son of the Alpha of a nearby clan. Male vampires have a blood marking fetish for other species of females, especially virgins and werewolves, but they like to piss off werewolves more, by going for people important to a pack, in this case, you.

Nik thought that you are available, and tried to mark you, because of our argument. But he didn’t get you because me and the boys were they’re on time.’

You nodded and was about to say something else, but you kept quiet again. You were going to ask, ‘are we still friends?’ you thought that it might offend Jungkook, you nervously looked at him. But Jungkook smiled, before he brought his lips to kiss the top of your head, before leaning away from you before settling back into his kneeling position in front of you.

‘You can talk freely with me. You don’t need to worry.’ He spoke. ‘But-’

‘I don’t care about what I said that night. I care for you, you are my best friend princess. That night what you saw was the accumulations of my emotions, I have no excuse about it.

I think I was shocked about my change in status, but that doesn’t give me the right to talk to you like that. As a result, I am extremely sorry. I hope you can forgive me.’ You smiled gently at him, and you patted his head before saying.

‘I am glad you are telling me things; I know I was a bit anxious about you not telling me things, I shouldn’t be so nosy. But when you think it’s time, you can tell me.’ Jungkook smiled in response, and he stood up and pulled you close into a hug. You lifted your hands to wrap around his neck. He lifted and wrapped your legs around his waist, lifting you off the seat and carried you to the bed.

You pulled him closer and in response he pulled you on top of him, he snuggled his head into your neck. The same way that Nik tried to do, but this was more comfortable. He sighed before he released you, resting your head together.

‘Jungkook what do I smell like?’ you asked.

‘Jasmine, vanilla and cotton.’ He spoke as he looked up, he asked back, ‘Why?’

‘Well, when I asked Irene she said, people smell different depending on the werewolf. I got curious about mine, so I had to ask you because since you like my scent so much.’ Jungkook nodded, before letting you go and the both of you got ready for Lunch.

Little to say everyone heard your conversation and was glad that you are close again.

chapter 3:the werewolf heartthrob

In the morning, everybody decided to go out on a walk since, it snowed last night.

The snow looked to good not to be enjoyed making a large blanket covering the whole town of where you lived. So, you put on your clothes and grabbed some snowshoes one of the girls had lent you. The only problem was you didn’t have a jacket. Prior to your packing days the weather forecast had shown that it would not snow for the duration of the holidays, so you didn’t pack one. None of the girls had one to lend to you, for today.

But Jungkook took one look at you before running upstairs and grabbed his grey reflector jacket and handed it to you. You smiled and thanked him, before putting on the jacket and headed outside with him towards the rest of the group before heading down the nearby walk to the forest.

It was a quite but comfortable walk due to the silence of everyone and the nature around. Rose stayed behind to walk with you whilst the boys walked further up ahead in their own smaller groups. Rose then asked you ‘So did you manage to get his Secret Santa present?’

You nodded. Before explaining when you got it, before looking ahead and realised that you are far away from the group. So, you ran and caught up with them giggling with Rose as you ran up the path.

Eventually your path had led the group in the middle of a large clearing where you could you see forest as far as the eye can see. You sat down on top of a large rock with your legs tired from all that walking. Everyone else followed suite and sat down around you, either chatting amongst each other or looking at the surroundings.

Then Namjoon looked at you ‘Hey y/n?’ He asked. I looked at him I saw his worried eyes but oddly I saw that they were also filled with trust.

‘Yes?’ you questioned.

‘We all have something to tell you, something important, us boys and the girls have known for a long time. However, since you came into our friendship recently and now, we all completely trust you and we think it’s a right to tell you and be honest.’ You nodded curiously, looking at everyone, they all looked at you, with some urgency.

Then you turned to your best friend who looked back at you desperately. His brown orbs shined with so many emotions which are hard to decipher.

You looked back at Namjoon before nodding to continue.

‘You know those magical beasts/hybrids, of legend like vampires, werewolves, and fairies?’ Namjoon asked and you nodded.

‘Well, those are all real, as many more other magical beasts, but humans just can’t see those ones. We boys are all werewolves. We are a sub-pack in a larger pack called the Eclipse pack.’ Do you widen your eyes at their statement, then you thought about the boys themselves, they did function like a pack you thought Namjoon had the leadership role since all of them listened to him, but it was hard to decipher the others place in a pack, but you had never seen them, shift?

‘Does that mean you guys shift or something into large wolves like Twilight?’ you asked before looking at the boys. Jungkook chuckled, of course you did compare fantasy to a book. Namjoon sighed in relief. ‘Well, that was a better reaction than I thought.’

‘And to answer your question, no we are not like that dipshit. We do turn into wolves but not that big, we can change at will. Whenever we want, unless on the full moon then we change into wolves in the night, with human wolf hybrid in the day.’ Suga explained.

‘We also have ranks in the pack,’ Namjoon further explained. ‘I am the head Alpha, first leader, Jungkook and Suga are also Alphas but are like secondary leaders. Taehyung and Hoseok are betas, 1st in command. With Jin and Jimin being deltas, or 3rd in command.’

‘Are you guys’ normal humans then?’ you asked the girls curiously; they were currently staying quiet in this part of the conversation.

‘Well… we are werewolves. But we as girls, don’t turn at all. The boys turn at 5 to 6 years once they full get control of it. We don’t know our rank since we are not meant to have one. Since we are not pure bloods, we only found out the boys were werewolves last February.’ You nodded.

‘What are pure bloods then?’

‘Where both your parents are from the magical lineage. The half-blood gene is when one of your parents is magical. But girls can’t change into wolves regardless of their status, either it will be pure or half, beta, omega, or delta.

Since Alpha children are always male, it’s hard to know if the female Alpha can carry the shifting gene. Alpha females don’t usually pass the age of 10.

Because being female and an Alpha makes you an easy target, to rogues (werewolves without status), stupid Alphas who don’t know what mates are and other species.’ Jin explained. You nodded taking in that information.

‘Can I see one of your wolves?’ you asked the boys. Jimin volunteered and ventured deep into the woods, and a couple of minutes later you heard pit patting and you turned your head seeing a grey wolf, you presumed it was Jimin since all the boys nodded in greeting.

They were right though, they are big as normal wolves, but smaller than the ones showed in Twilight. You got up and walked over to him before reaching to pat his head once you did Jimin whined in response, and you realised this was Jimin’s wolf. You smiled before itching under his chin and then he rolled onto his side, and asked you to give him belly-rubs, you giggled when his legs moved in response of getting a good itch.

Then you heard a loud growl, and you turned your head to Jungkook. And you raised your eyebrow. Before patting Jimin’s head and he whined again before walking back to change into his clothes. You walked back to Jungkook and looked down at him while he looked away from me.

You chuckled before scratching his head, before whispering ‘Good boy.’ He then suddenly grabbed you and toppled you on the snow. You screamed out before laughing loudly whilst he laid on top of you whilst tickling your side before stopping and lifting himself off you. You sighed before rolling away from him to sit up, Jungkook back hugged you whilst you sat in front of him, and you were chatting with them like normal.

Soon it was time for you all to head back to the house, and you held Jungkook’s hand.

‘Hey y/n, I am really happy that you accepted us.’ He said.

‘Of course, I would. Not everyday you meet werewolves let alone be friends with them. And besides, I am already in too deep in your world so much so that I don’t think this will be gone so easily. I can’t leave you all, you mean too much to me. Just as much as I mean to you.’ You said whilst looking at the sky before looking at Jungkook, who was already smiling at you.

Thursday 24th December 2020

Christmas was tomorrow, you thought it was odd to say you weren’t excited, you were happy, so happy that you didn’t exactly think about…going on a walk, out into the snow, at 6:00am when everyone else was asleep so or you thought.

You were walking in a random direction, and you had gone for 20 minutes turns out you went in the direction of the clearing that you visited yesterday with the boys, you smiled at the clear white blanket that covered the ground for miles, with the bare trees and a couple of coniferous bunched together sprouting high above the ground.

You also saw a dark green ivy curtain covered in snow against a large hill that was covered in coniferous trees, you then saw the large archway of ivy and ferns you got curious at the sight. So, you walked closer to the archway, so you decided to take a picture with the polaroid you just so happen to take with you.

You then walked to the archway, moved the ferns, and found a long corridor, you didn’t think much before entering the archway. At the end of the stone corridor, you saw a large door. You then pressed the ancient doorway eventually a large rumble occurred, and the door moved open.

You then walked closer to the cracked door, and you peaked inside before seeing large amounts lilac dew-like flowers, you are gently the left the door so you could enter the further.

You walked through; you saw a large area covered in the purple flowers. You also saw a large willow tree which had pink leaves you glance at the tree in wonder before walking closer, you also saw a large clearing, with a lake just under the hanging pink leaves, they were just touching the ground.

You gasped when you saw a large statue of a women with beautiful features looking at her hands with your head you saw a flower, a lotus flower, it was closed but it seemed well even in this cold. You looked back at the lady she was wearing a crown, with moons and stars, and a gentle flowing dress, you saw her bare feet covered with many flowers, which were more lotuses, but they were all in bloom unlike the one in her hand, which was weird considering the weather outside.

You then realised how warm it was inside, so you took off your coat revealing your pyjama top, before sitting down at the side of the of the clearing facing away from the lady statue to look at the lake and the rest of the clearing.

-‘y/n!’- you heard Jungkook’s voice, worried.

You turned around and saw a wolf, not Jimin, but … Jungkook. ‘Jungkook?’ you said.

The wolf nodded before rushing forward towards you were about to pat him, but he started to sniff you and walked around you. You raised your eyebrows.

‘What wrong Jungkook?’ you said whilst looking at the worried Jungkook.

The wolf then turned into Jungkook, he looked at you worriedly,

‘I was worried about you, I didn’t see you next to me when I woke up and I got scared, then I got even more scared when you weren’t present in the house, your scent was faint. Then I saw your shoes were gone and I shifted and ran out after you. Namjoon was mad at me for the commotion but when he smelled my scent, he found out that my mat-you had left out in the cold without tell me. I am glad I found you her though’ He rambled.

He gently shivered, you widen your eyes before realising he was shirtless and that he was cold, so you quickly gave him my jacket wordlessly, looking away shyly at his nakedness.

Thanking you quietly Jungkook put on the jacket which turned out to be his one that he lent you earlier. Before he gently grabbed your hand to hold in his, you gently squeezed in response, and you looked back at him.

‘What do you mean by her?’ you asked Jungkook’s eyes then turned to look behind you. You then turned to find the statue, behind you. ‘Oh…her.’ You looked back at Jungkook. He returned your look before getting up and lead you to her whilst holding onto your hand tightly. You looked at the linked hands between you two, you wondered what it was like to hold his hand if you were in a relationship. You tried not to think to much about it and looked ahead at the statue again before looking at Jungkook. He met your eyes after looking at the statue with a smile.

‘She is the Moon Goddess, she is the deity for werewolves, and other night species, but she goes by different names depending on the species, but she means the same thing, our creator. When she had met the male Alpha King who was wolf, they fell in love and mated. She became the Queen Luna; then soon after the union, the children emerged as werewolves. For other species that part of the story is different but one thing in common is she fell in love and had children of them with the Alpha male King of the species.

‘Eventually over generations, werewolves and other night species population increased, but humans got scared of them and hunted them to extinction. Werewolves were then wiped from the human history, thanks to the Moon Goddess. She also made these safe havens for us to thrive, but soon werewolves modernise and do mingle with humans just not often, as we did when we attend school.’ He explained.

I looked at him shocked. ‘I know a lot to take in.’ he chuckled.

‘What is this place then?’ you asked whilst looking around.

‘This is a place for ceremonial uses, the official ceremonies take place outside in the large clearing that we were at yesterday, but the more personal parts of the ceremonies takes place here, so you have the blessing of the moon goddess.’

‘For example?’ I asked.

‘Mating unions(after the mates are officially united in front of the pack(s), they ask for blessing from the moon goddess), welcoming a new pack member (after they have been accepted by the Alpha), unions between two packs and funeral ceremonies (to help the werewolves to move onto the next life).’ Jungkook stated.

You nodded before realizing you are shivering because of the cold, Jungkook noticed and started to stand up.

‘Come on let’s go back home.’ Jungkook said, he took of his jacket off before handing it back to you, before changing back into his wolf.

‘Does it hurt when you change into a wolf?’ you asked when you started to zip up the jacket. Jungkook shook his head not before saying,

-‘It hurts at the beginning when you change into your wolf for the first time, but you get used to it the more you change.’-

‘How are you talking to me then?’ you asked.

–‘Mind-link ever since Namjoon accepted you are part of the pack by mind-link, but you can’t talk through it because you are not actually part of the pack…yet.’- you thought you heard that last bit incorrectly, but you shrugged you shoulders and climbed on Jungkook’s back before he ran back home.

Little to say you did enjoy riding on Jungkook’s back he was bigger than Jimin maybe because he’s an Alpha he can take care of the extra weight without a problem.

Later that afternoon…

You and everyone else were back at home decorating the house for Christmas, the boys cleared the outside whilst you and the girls did the inside. The boys had carried the Christmas tree inside (whilst you were out with Jungkook in the ceremonial place) and put it into place, so all you girls had to do was to decorate it. Irene and Seulgi decorated a half of the house. The downstairs and the terrace. Whilst you, Rose and Lisa took care of the other half (the hallway Namjoon’s study and the TV room).

The Jimin and Taehyung are clearing out Taehyung’s room for their parents, Jungkook, Namjoon and Hoseok the driveway and the terrace because of the snow. Yoongi and Jin are going on a shopping trip for food and some other things that they need.

Soon the whole house was decorated and there were Christmas stockings decorating the fireplace next to the TV in the main area, Two black, blue, green, purple, red and white. For the colours of the pieces of paper for our rooms, with our initials sewed on them. Containing the secret Santa presents from our secret Santa that we played during November.

Jin and Yoongi wordlessly handed everyone a bag to say to get changed for Christmas. ‘We need to be in a Christmas vibe, and they are all matching…to your roommate.’

Soon you were all wearing Jumpers and jeans to get into the Christmas vibe, you were wearing a beige jumper with a Christmas wonderland pattern. Jungkook was wearing the same but navy blue. Jimin was wearing a grey turtleneck, Taehyung was wearing green one. Lisa and Rose were wearing a pink Christmas Jumper with cute reindeers. Hoseok and Namjoon were wearing red and burgundy Jumpers. Yoongi and Jin were wearing white ones.

You then heard the door and Taehyung volunteered to get it before revealing a man and a woman possibly both in their 50s it was hard to decide because of their soft youthful faces. They smiled at the boys, and they all came rushing to give them a hug whilst shouting ‘Amma! Appa!’ You smiled at the cute interaction before standing up with the girls as you walked over to greet the newcomers.

‘Hello girls!’ the women said gently. ‘Oh, and who is this?’ she said looking at me curiously. Jungkook then whispered in her ear. ‘Ahh!’ She then I presumed by mind-link since her eyes turned silver told her husband. ‘Well, my dear one, I am the Luna and this the Alpha, and we are the parents of these groups of boys.’ she said. You bowed to her and smiled.

‘Well, we should get changed and head upstairs so we can have lunch with each other and then we can start talking.’ The Alpha said.

‘Thank you’ you whispered to Jungkook.

‘Anytime princess.’ You blushed at the nickname before helping Jin do the last of the cooking and the rest of the group helped clear the table and place the things needed for Lunch.

‘So I am guessing you are human then y/n?’ Mr Kim asked, and you nodded.

‘And you are from the same school as the boys then?’ he asked again and you also nodded.

They kept on asking you questions, but you kept on nodding or shaking your head, Jungkook then saw how uncomfortable you were and signalled to the guys to start talking about something else. But the Kim’s questions kept on coming.

‘I think we can get desert, then since everyone is finished.’ Jin said, whilst everyone nodded their head, so Jin was about to get up. ‘No Jin. Let y/n do it since she doesn’t talk to us, she can go beside if she doesn’t talk, she is not needed in the conversation.’ Ms Kim said. You nodded and was about to leave the table; Jungkook then said ‘Let me help you y/n.’ he said, you were about to tell him no its fine. But Ms Kim beat you too it and said ‘No Jungkook she can do it herself.’ She demanded.

Jungkook was clenching his fist on the table you knew what was going to happen, so you gently grabbed his hand, he looked at you with red eyes, to be honest it scared you.

‘Jungkook it’s all right you don’t need to defend me. I can get the desert myself since I am not useful in this conversation. And plus, its not rude to go against a Luna let alone an Alpha. I am just respecting your parents for the whole entire conversation; they haven’t told me to speak yet, so I have not spoken yet. Besides if they told me to speak, I wouldn’t have listened anyways, since I am uncomfortable with new people.’ I said before turning to the Kims

‘I am sorry I haven’t spoken to yet Alpha and Luna Kim. I am not yet comfortable with you so please be patient; don’t worry I am going to get the desert by myself.’ You stated before finally leaving to get the desert.

Soon after desert had finished in silence. Y/n had cleared up the rest of the plates without another word. Jungkook tried to help her even the rest of the others tried to, but y/n was persistent to do it herself and didn’t listen. The whole table was clean within 15 minutes, whilst everyone looked stunned. Y/n didn’t bother to say goodbye, other than a small smile to the others; but a lone tear went down her cheek when she looked at Jungkook. She wiped the tear quickly before heading upstairs, you could hear a loud bang and as the bedroom door closed.

Namjoon’s eyes then darted between the three people Jungkook was looking at his adopted parents angrily if looks could kill they would be dead by now. Namjoon’s parents didn’t dare to look at him in the eye, they knew they did something wrong to get Jungkook angry like that. It was well known in the family that Jungkook was cold since the beginning when he came into the family at the mere age of 9, and this wasn’t his usual angry self. It took time for everyone to let Jungkook warm up to them, But Hoseok was closest to Jungkook, Namjoon’s parents were the last. But with this development, Namjoon knew they had to work on their relationship better.

-‘Jungkook stop getting angry it won’t help.’-

-‘But they hurt my mate, who is just human she didn’t do anything wrong.’- he looked at Namjoon.

-‘Go to her Jungkook and comfort her. I’ll tell Jin to take care of the packing of the remaining food.’- Jungkook nodded at Namjoon’s orders.

Before standing up, he was the first in 5 minutes to everyone looked at him wearily, even as werewolves they could smell his angry pheromones. Mrs Kim was about to apologise to Jungkook, but the younger male was faster,

‘Don’t you dare to apologise to me, Mother. You both must apologise to her not me. Didn’t I not tell you that she was my mate, the one who is going to be with the rest of my life. Don’t you also know that she is now scared of you.

I thought that when you visited, you’d give her a sense of family I even reassured her. And you didn’t even give her a hug like you always do to other girls, who just want us for our status and money, she doesn’t care about those things.

Apologise to her first; then I’ll think about accepting your apologies.’ Jungkook said with authority and left to go upstairs to go and comfort you, his mate.

You closed the door of Jungkook’s room a little to loudly for your liking. Before you shuffle to go and sit on the ledge of the window pulling your legs close to you, as you looked at the snowy outside.

You had started to wonder why the boys’ parents hated you so much. They were only nice to the girls and the boys, but now you just saw them very differently to how they had been explained, the rest of your group. You wondered if Jungkook would accept your love, after what you did to his parents.

Before you know it, tears had flown down your cheeks, whilst being lost in your thoughts. You headed towards the bathroom to clean up your face. Once you exited the bathroom, you saw Jungkook sitting on the edge of the bed with his hands in his hair, he looked stressed. You hurried over to him and crouched down to the ground and remove his hands from the top of his head, he looked into your eyes with worry.

He suddenly grabbed your hand and pulled you off the ground from your squatting position, releasing a yelp from you. He pulled you up on his bed, with his back against the bed rest only to sit in front of him, in between his legs. He pulled you closer to his chest.

‘I am so sorry you had to see that y/n, I thought they’d treat you nicely since you are important to our group especially to me, I don’t know what has gotten into them.’ He whispered, you nodded indicating you were thinking about the same thing before you lifted your head up to look at the doe eyes above you.

He was already looking back at you smiled for the first time properly that day, since you were so nervous your usual smile wasn’t present. But now it was and Jungkook was happy. But then he heard a knock on the door, he knew it was Hoseok.

-‘What’s up Hobi-hyung?’-

-‘Just wanted to check if you both were ok, but I think you and y/n should leave the house for a bit. Namjoon, Yoongi, Jimin, are giving mom and dad a piece of medicine, in Namjoon’s study. But Jin and Taehyung are trying to calm them down before it goes wrong, but it currently not working. I don’t think y/n would want to see the family fight, because of her problem with our parents she would become more upset.

Take her out to the town. You can get her happy make sure you stay there for the entire afternoon including tea. I’ll tell you when things calm down and we start making dinner, so you can come and join us, before we go and put the presents under the Christmas tree.’-

-‘Yeah I will do that, thanks hyung.’- Jungkook said.

-Anytime, Jungkook.’- Hoseok said before walking back downstairs and closing the door.

‘Who was that?’ you asked.

‘Hoseok-hyung, he was checking if we were both ok after what had happened downstairs, anyways instead on dwelling on those bad things lets go out on a walk-in town?’ Jungkook suggested.

You smiled and nodding at him before getting your shoes and Jacket whilst Jungkook got his and the both of you headed downstairs and quickly headed outside onto the driveway before heading towards the town.

Meanwhile in Namjoon’s study…

Hoseok entered the study after heading to Jungkook’s room to enlighten him of the situation.

Irene also told him about the clean kitchen after cleaning the dishes. The girls were going upstairs to Namjoon’s bedroom to watch some movie. He thought the girls were lucky to watch the movie without having to deal with loud shouting in the study. Once he opened the large oak door, loud shouting was immediately heard, and he quickly entered through without letting the sound to enter the hallway upstairs. Luckily, the door was soundproof.

Hoseok then took his place near Taehyung and Jin the only calm ones in the room, whilst the other 5 were shouting to each other. ‘So did you tell him the idea?’ Jin asked Hoseok, he nodded whilst looking around the large dark rectangular room. Namjoon was leaning against his desk at the back with his hands against his face. The 2ndoldest brother Yoongi was busy having a heated debate along with Jimin, who was leaning against the bookshelf, going up against their parents.

‘You need to start to learn how to respect people, not just you and your opinions. Good Alphas listen to everyone especially to their children and newcomers, since they have down to earth opinions about the pack, and they are always honest. You just scared the future of this pack away just because she is human.

If my mate were human or even a vampire, I would still accept her no matter what regardless on what you think, just like Jungkook did. Y/n did not even flinch after hearing that we were a totally different species, she still cares for us the same, yes, she asks us questions, but still respects our privacy, but now she’s Jungkook’s mate at least you could give her is some respect, since she is going to be the newest pack member.’ Yoongi said whilst looking at his parents angrily.

Jimin just rolled his eyes when his father tried to speak but he beat him to it. ‘Shut the hell up no one asked for your opinion, just like Yoongi said you really need to start earning respect from your family members.

To be honest I still can’t believe that y/n still decides to respect you even after what you did to her.’ He spat back at the oldest people in the room.

Soon the three quiet boys saw Namjoon, the wisest brother, stood up. He took one look at Yoongi and Jimin they went silent but stood behind him when he went to go a sit on the armchair facing his parents. One look from Namjoon and they also both went silent. The two betas and the Delta knew what was going to happen, so they just stood quietly watching from the side.

‘Why did you keep on asking questions to y/n?’ he asked.

‘Because…we wanted to make sure that she was going to be a good mate to Jungkook.’ Mr Kim spoke.

‘She already was. Didn’t I tell you to be nice to her? Because she is afraid of new people? Should I also remind you both that you are behaving like little school children, thinking that Jungkook would leave his mate for some gold digger/whore that you picked out for him?’ Namjoon further asked the two people who are in front of him. They both nodded, whilst looking at each other before looking at their hands.

‘Let me tell you something. Jungkook holds a better responsibility to the pack than I ever will, just because I am your favourite child doesn’t mean I will follow your rules. You will never be my pied piper, as I will never be your mouse. Jungkook and y/n are mean to be, regardless of what our grandparents told you. We are not into an arranged marriage like you two, we don’t reject our mates and just get married for the money and glory.

‘Jungkook knows to be a better leader, I am just the brains but Jungkook he’s the true Alpha of his pack and I will more than happy to respect him as my leader. Y/n on the other hand is the perfect Luna, I saw this immediately after meeting her for the first time and seeing how she interacted with everyone knowing when to speak and when to act. I saw how caring she is and how much she takes pride in helping others more than herself.

‘Just like you I was warry of her, when I didn’t meet her, just heard about her. After Jimin and Jin told me that she likes to draw wolves in her spare time, and that they looked just like us. I was curious did she know about us? Our identity? But then after meeting her properly for the first time on our dining table she is truly the nicest person. Whilst looking at the stars that night, doing my usual night readings, I realised this was fate, it was meant to happen.

‘I realised there was more about y/n than meets the eye, when Jungkook became conflicted of his feelings for her. I consulted him here in this room I was sat here, whilst he was sat there right in between you two. Then he told me everything from start to finish. How she always got his attention, whenever she walked by, he could smell her sweet scent. How she laughed at Jin’s jokes.

How she blushed at Jimin’s affection(not being used to any beforehand) And how Jungkook would stare at her angrily, getting jealous without really knowing why. And many other little things that made him fall in love with her. One thing was for sure she was always on his mind, and that it was annoying, to him. That’s why he gave her all those stares, then I told him ‘Now you can think.’.’

He said before leaning forward closer to his parents, elbows on his knees.

‘The next day we went to school and when he saw y/n for the first time, properly this time. He realised that she was his mate and that he loved her. He didn’t know when it happened, but his brain was doing it subconsciously, which is why he was staring at her without him or his wolf knowing. Since he was more cold to people, he didn’t care till now about mates until we had our conversation.

‘The day after that, Jungkook saves her from the mean girl of the school, and they became best of friends till now. Jungkook is going to confess to her soon on winter solstice ball. Just like Yoongi said she didn’t even flinch when we told her we were part of the supernatural and one of the dangerous night species. She still treated us the same, she was more fascinated because she reads supernatural books though, that the humans made up about us,’ he chuckled all the boys smiled remembering that day.

‘Speaking of supernatural books…’

Namjoon then shuffled back to lean against the armchair whilst looking at the ceiling for a moment going quiet for a few minutes before Yoongi cleared his throat. Namjoon snapped out of his trance, before getting up to one of the bookshelves.

He was muttering quietly shuffling along a series of book before grabbing the dark purple book. Letting out a small sound ‘Aha!’ once he found the book, the boys, presumed he was looking for. Flipping through the page whilst moving back to his original seat in front of his biological parents, he place a blue-ribbon mark on the page before placing it in front of him on the dark oak coffee table.

‘Y/n has been through some family abuse and even school bullying, yet she was still kind to you and everyone else who hurt her, sometimes I wonder what makes her put up with that stuff, you might have to ask her that.’ Namjoon said sipping through his coffee.

‘But let me tell you…I am, and I will give up my position as the future Alpha of this pack and give it to Jungkook, and then y/n will be the Luna. Jungkook deserves it more than me and Yoongi, he also agrees. As of the end of the holidays I am giving the role of the Alpha couple pack to Jungkook and y/n. End of story.’ Namjoon explained before sliding the book to his parents, he then pulled out sketchbook from his dark blue denim jacket.

‘I suggest you read the rest of the pages after the ribbon bookmark in that purple book till the next chapter and to look at that sketchbook fully. It will explain why y/n has more potential than you think.’ Namjoon said before leaving to go upstairs to his bedroom, the other boys followed suite.

His parents looked at the book in front of them. It read Legends of the midnight creatures: werewolf collection. Before opening the page marked by the ribbon. Raising their eyebrows at the title? The page was open to the beginning of a story tale of the called True Alpha couple… they knew the story though. They then put the book down keeping it in mind glancing at the thin black A5 sketchbook next to the mythology book. On the front page, was a large writing saying DREAMS. At centre bottom border, was small scribble in black calligraphy ink

The parents then opened the pages, beasts of all shapes and sizes scattered the page, demons, faes, vampires and many more. They were drawn to such detail, from every brushstroke to every pencil line.

The colours were seamlessly blended too, some were bright colours, of faes and magical beasts. Others were in grey scale, with the occasional colour to highlight the details. The darker pictures were covered in strokes of pain and desolation, with many containing many species attacking wolves. They looked like visions in real life more than imagination and dreams.

But when they looked at the incomplete 2nd half of the book. They found the many wolves painted in water colour with a forest background behind them, they were happy sensing of the colour scheme. Majority were a big group of werewolves with a white female and a Black male leading through. They were seen more often, playing a prominent role in y/n’s better stage of her dreams.

Some of the others like Namjoon had mentioned, looked like all the boys. Jungkook’s wolf was seen more frequently, the dark matte black coat with the shining grey eyes, with his occasional red pair in some drawings, when he challenged his Alpha.

Then they saw a large landscape painting covering the final page of drawings. From the point of view looking into a lake. Instead of a familiar figure of y/n they saw a pure white-pearl wolf. The rarest colour type the only seen in females born of the Alpha bloodline of southern isles, they were hunted because of their shifting gene, being the last pure-blood alpha females on the planet. In the reflection of the lake, the wolf looked surprised but more confused at the unfamiliar form. Both parents looked at each other with surprise in their eyes.

On the walk…

Jungkook and you had walked all the way to town’s centre and headed inside the main shopping hall, to escape the cold outside. The shops were decorated for Christmas to attract customers for the festive season, many people were walking around with their families. As you walked ahead hand in hand all the way to the centre of the mall, they could see various vendors in the middle selling. Talking about their products, to the walking neighbours, with many foods or gifts decorating the countertops.

Y/n smiled at some of them, they smiled back and waved in response. Jungkook noticed and was about to ask the girl next to him, only to realise the girl wasn’t present and he looked around worriedly. Only to find her walking ahead fast to a waiting lady’s arms, he realised as Sejun Noona. Y/n was hugging her tightly, she knew her. Jungkook sighed in relief before heading closer to the stall which the lady owned.

‘Well, if it isn’t my favourite customer, what brings you here this Christmas I thought you were with some friends for the holidays.’ she asked the young girl who smiled brightly back at her, she turned around to look for Jungkook who was already walking towards her.

‘Unnie, this is Jungkook I am staying at his family house with his brothers and some girls for this Christmas.’ She said as she pulled Jungkook closer to lady. Jungkook politely bowed.

‘Hello, Sejun-Noona!’ he said happily. ‘I hope you are doing well.’

‘I am doing just fine thanks.’ y/n looked curiously between the two, ‘Jin’s friend, we ask for her take-outs all the time. She knows our secret.’ Jungkook explained. Y/n happily nodded, before her stomach rumbled very embarrassingly loudly.

‘Y/n didn’t you not eat properly?’ Jungkook asked worriedly. Y/n blushed before nodding.

‘How come?’ Sejun asked. concerned

‘My parents.’ Jungkook said clenched his fists, y/n quickly held his hand and he relaxed. Sejun nodded, she knew already have met them before when they came as a surprise visit.

‘Well let’s not dwell on that I’ll make some food, free of charge. Since the store is closing early today, just like many others, I need to get back to my parents. But I think they’d be fine for a little while longer. Sit down I’ll get you something to eat.’ The two nodded before sitting down on the side of the stall.

‘Hey, y/n how do you know so many people here?’ Jungkook finally asked.

Y/n looked around before saying ‘I know these people, since I buy the food for the house I go here often for the good, fresh, and cheap foods. My parents, usually go to the supermarkets, but I always come here. When my parents got mad at me for some reasons, they’d leave me outside my house without food and I’d walk all the way here and wander the stalls.

‘Eventually Sejun-unnie got curious about me and found out from secretly following me home and spying on me, she found about my bad relationship with my parents. When she saw me again, she allowed me to have free food on her stall for free. Everyone was confused about it at first, and started to spread rumours about the businessman’s daughter, but Sejun stopped the rumours.

‘Eventually that’s how Kira found out a way to offend me since she hates me, and she spreads the rumours. The guy that Jin and Jimin confronted on the first, when they first met me, likes Kira. He thought it was cool to make fun of me.’ you explained.

‘Now that I am are here, no one dares to spread rumours, after what happened to Kira. So, they shut up about it and everyone is nice now because all the bad people left, for being with on Kira’s side?’ Jungkook said. You nodded.

‘Chicken dumplings cooked in anchovy broth for y/n. And pork dumplings with chicken broth for Jungkook.’ Sejun said. You both thanked her and started to eat the dumplings.

‘I made you a small amount so you could have Kalgaksu later. Since I made extra dough. It might take a while, though because of the cold.’ Sejun said, and the both of you nodded since your mouths are full.

Soon the shops were starting to close around you since it was 1.30 pm in the afternoon. You had already finished the dumplings and already went on a wonder to the nearby open stalls, under the watchful eye of Jungkook.

Jungkook was busy eating his last dumpling whilst looking at y/n who was buying food. Then he heard ‘Jungkook?’ Jungkook teared away from the young girl, who was looking through her bag before turning towards the female voice. ‘Hmm?’ Jungkook looked at Sejun-Noona, curiously.

‘Do you really like y/n?’ he nodded before finishing of chewing his last dumpling before saying ‘I do, she is my mate. She means the world to me, she the only chance I have at love, I am glad it’s her though not that stupid Kira.’

‘I am glad, I can say she is the one for you. Don’t worry I am just looking out for my younger Dongsaeng.’ She said chuckling before heading back to make food. Soon y/n came back holding a blue plastic bag along with her shoulder bag. Before placing it on the ground next to her feet before taking off her shoulder bag. ‘What did you get?’ he asked. You explained that Jin messaged you to get some foods, which weren’t present in the house. When you had just started to wander around the stalls. Jungkook nodded before you both talked about some things

‘1 large vegetable Kalgaksu in Chicken broth.’ Sejun said. And you both started to eat the Kalgaksu together, halfway through the bowl, one long noodle you put into your mouth and Jungkook did the same, you were eating the noodle and it started to tug you.

You didn’t bother until you felt a warm wind of something against your lips, you turned your head only to open your eyes and found Jungkook’s lips against yours, he was also surprised. But you bit down on the noddle before something could have happened between the two of you.

You blushed and looked down at your hands. Jungkook smiled at your adorableness before he started to eat the rest of the Kalgaksu. And you started to eat as well.

Unbeknownst to the both of you Sejun was looking at the two of you before smirking at the cute interaction. ‘Mission Accomplished.’ She said before chuckling before she finished off closing the stall.

You thanked Sejun-Noona for the food before you started to walk again around the town. Eventually you both settled down in a café; with a hot tea and a mocha with a couple of chocolate chip cookies later, and a long chat it was time to go home.

chapter 2:the werewolf heartthrob

Pairing: Werewolf! Jungkook x Unknown identity! Reader ~(severely unedited: started 02/05/2022 ended 01/06/2022)~

Genre: high school au, werewolf au, angst, uncomfortable moments but only on a couple of parts, lots and lots of fluff, family abuse (mentions only) but Namjoon saves the day

Ever since then you and Jungkook became best friends and now you spend your days with the boys at your spot in the courtyard for break and lunch. Nobody ever bothered trying to spread rumours or anything mean about you because Jungkook and the boys were there. Kira on the other hand moved to another school and her goons apologised to you.

And now it was approaching the boys’ first basketball match of the season, which is to start next month. Meaning they had to leave for practice afterschool and lunchtimes which meant less hanging out between the you and the guys. But since the boys were performing so well when you could visit, the coach allowed for you to visit them whenever you could, without permission.

This was especially useful because you could finish of homework and revision. The boys always performed well when you were there, especially Jungkook, the coach even went further saying that you were their lucky charm.

The boys changing rooms

When the other boys on the basketball team left, Jimin turned to the youngest. ‘Hey, Jungkook have you asked her out yet?’ Jimin asked, the younger boy shook his head whilst putting on his shirt. ‘No not yet.’ Jungkook replied. ‘Well you should ask soon, otherwise your mate will be taken away by the school’s playboy.’ Suga said. ‘You mean Nik, the vamp. From your form?’ Hoseok asked, he looked between Suga and Namjoon. They both nodded, ‘What why, I thought he’d never play with her?’ Taehyung asked.

‘Well, after Jungkook confronted Kira, it caught the attention of Nik. Since Jungkook never protects anyone unless they’re important. So, Nik put the two together and thought it was a good idea to piss off Jungkook more to go after your mate, or to him your crush. At least we think he thinks that.’ Namjoon explained.

‘Maybe ask her if she can spend the Christmas holidays with us, that way you can ask her out.’ Jin proposed. ‘But how do I tell her about us and our kind?’ Jungkook pondered worriedly. ‘We can reveal it to her during the holidays and say that we trust her with the secret, and anyways since the girls know that we are all werewolves, they can help?’ Taehyung explained. The other nodded and headed out the room.

The cheerleading team were also nice you now that Kira, their previous captain left. They were more free and a little more happier according to their coach and the boys. You have made a couple of good friends in their group who were Lisa, Irene, Seulgi, and Rose. They never liked Kira and now were super glad when they left, you used to sit with them at lunch when you couldn’t sit with the boys.

One lunch you were asking each other questions; ‘So where are you going to for Christmas y/n?’ Lisa asked. ‘I don’t know since my parents are on a Business trip in America, I am alone at home.’ You spoke. ‘Well in that case you could spend the Christmas with us?’ Jungkook said. You turned around seeing Jungkook in newly grown long hair in his Basketball kit still sweating from practice, you walked up to him and hugged him, he hugged you close. ‘How was practice?’ You asked when lifting your head up to look up at him, resting your chin on his chest.

‘It was okay. But to the coach, it wasn’t good enough because you weren’t there.’ You giggled. ‘So, are you coming for Christmas?’ You nodded at him since you had nothing else to do, and you don’t think that your parents would care at all, so might as well. ‘Do you want to come girls?’ they nodded as well. ‘Yes! Okay, wait, I must go and tell the guys.’ He said ‘Don’t worry, we heard.’ You heard Namjoon from somewhere, you smiled in the direction of the voice seeing Namjoon and the boys a few feet away giggling at your interaction.

‘Go and change otherwise you’d be late for English class.’ you shooed him away. Before walking back to the girls, who were watching everything. ‘Damn girl that was some good dating shit.’ Seulgi said but laughed afterwards after she saw your face, blushing. ‘Hey, stop it!’ you whined back. ‘It’s not our problem, you admire Jungkook too much we can’t help but tease you.’ Seulgi giggled ‘Hey y/n, do you have a crush on Jungkook?’ Rose asked curiously. ‘Yeah, I do. I guess?’ you answered unsure. ‘When did it start?’ Lisa asked further.

‘Well maybe it started a bit after we spent time together a lot more after the Kira incident, he seems nice and kind but, but I don’t think I should ask him out. He is busy with the tournament for January, and he seems to have rejected all the girls, who have recently asked him out. Plus, I am too scared to might ruin the relationship I have with the guys, if I ask him out.’ You rambled. ‘Hey do not worry I am sure he likes you too, just be patient. During the holidays you can form a bond between you and him and then ask him out?’ Irene said. ‘Yeah maybe I’ll do that.’ You nodded.

Sunday 20th December 2020

Once your large duffle bag was full of the clothes you packed up yesterday, you were waiting in the sitting room, for the girls since they would pick you up. So, you could be at the boys’ house for the holidays. You saw the text from on the girl’s group chat and you locked the house and you headed towards the car; it was Seulgi’ s mum who offered to drop you at the boys’ house. You put your bags away and hopped on, chatting excitedly with the girls.

Once you reached the house, and thanked Seulgi’s mum and headed out before picking your bag whilst Lisa knocked on the door. Namjoon opened the door, and you dropped your bags in the front room before heading inside the house. The some of the guys were heading downstairs, and we headed into the living room. ‘Where are Jimin and Jungkook.’ Rose asked Jin.

‘They are out on their pat-I mean run.’ He said nervously while looking at you. You raised your eyebrow. ‘Well then let us wait for them.’ Lisa said whilst sitting down. You chatted until you heard the boys enter through the front door, you smiled at Jungkook.

‘Hi, ’ You said while hugging him ‘You, okay?’ ‘Yeah, fine.’ He said whilst hugging you back. ‘Well, let us decide the rooms.’ Namjoon suggested. You nodded and sat beside Jungkook on the couch.

‘Well, we have 7 bedrooms, meaning 6 pairs. We keep a room free for our parents who come on Christmas eve. Since we have an odd number, that mean one pair is a girl and a boy.’ Jin explained.

‘How do we pick the rooms?’ Jimin asked. ‘Choice out of the hat! So, the girls get 4 green but 1 purple, green means you pair up, but purple means you pair up with one of the boys. Same for us boys, but we have 6 greens and 1 purple.’ Jin further explained.

‘So, by chance.’ Taehyung replied. And Jin nodded. So we each picked out the hat. You got purple, you couldn’t hide your blush, as you nervously looked at Jungkook. Before putting the piece of paper away into the basket.

Then it was the boys turn to make it more interesting Jin made you and the girls leave, so you were left in the front room. ‘What if you and Jungkook get paired up with each other, that way I will be easier to bond with him.’ Irene thought excitedly. ‘Yeah maybe. But wouldn’t that be weird with their parents around.’ I pondered. ‘They are nice, though.’ Rose said.

Just then Suga opened the door and, then the boys showed their pieces of paper. Jungkook….got….purple. Oh…my…god. You blushed and looked away. ‘Well then doesn’t this look interesting? Two best friends put into the room together, by luck.’ Jin said. He smiled.

‘Well, you girls, can go in mine and Namjoon’s rooms, ’ Suga said, ‘while you and Jungkook go in his room. And Jimin and Taehyung, go in Jimin’s room leaving Taehyung’s room for our parents, because its his turn to lend to our parents.’

We all nodded and headed upstairs, you and the girls brought your bags and you followed Jungkook. You were nervous, like you have been to Jungkook’s room before but now it was so much weirder.

You hadn’t stayed overnight at all, since your home was close, you didn’t need to. One of the boys will just drop you at home, but now you had to stay let alone in your crush’s house and his room alone with him. This was going to so awkward, even though you are best friends.

‘Hey y/n, you can come in now.’ You looked up at Jungkook before blushing, before grabbing your bag, and walked inside his room. The familiar double bed sat into the middle of the room against the right wall, at the far back there was a large window, with black out curtains, you also saw a giant black bean bag with a black fleece, to your left you could see a TV with various games on top of the Xbox and ps4 cupboards, to the far right you could see sliding cupboards against the side wall.

You could see the ensuite bathroom next to cupboard next to the right side of the bed. The room was in a greyscale palette. You then walked into the room and closed the door behind you. Jungkook sat on the left side of the bed. ‘Y/n?’ you looked at him. ‘You can put your bag over their in the cupboard.’ You saw the empty open cupboard, and quickly placed your beige-coloured duffle bag inside, then closed the door, and sat next to Jungkook. You had yet to exchange a conversation when you entered the room.

‘Hey Jungkook?’ He hummed signalling you to continue. ‘Are you mad that we got put together?’ I asked. He looked at you worriedly. ‘No, I am not, I was more worried about you since you seemed so uncomfortable to do this, yet I was hoping, you’d be fine and then I saw you hide away from my gaze an-.’ You giggled.

He looked at you confused; you tilted your head towards him ‘Don’t need to ramble I understood.’ You said whilst chuckling, before you leaned back and landed on his bed. He did the same. He gently intertwined your hands together and you lied like that talking about anything like you normally would without the awkwardness. Jungkook then looked up at the clock before looking at you again.

‘We should change and get ready for lunch.’ He said before getting up. I nodded before heading to get my bag in the cupboard and brought out a pair of sweatpants and an oversized tee and headed inside the ensuite and changed. The ensuite was in the same greyscale, grey with black matte accents for the metal parts, it was your standard hotel ensuite, with a bathtub and shower separately.

You changed quickly and headed and saw Jungkook on his phone wearing a tight white tee with a pair of grey sweatpants. ‘Ready?’ you asked. He nodded before putting his phone in his pocket, whilst I grabbed mine and did the same before, we headed downstairs.

Later that night…

After watching a movie, you and the guys headed upstairs, Hoseok and Namjoon cleared up the lounge. You and everyone else walked up to you respected rooms, upon entering you lied on the bed tiredly, Jungkook chuckled at the sight before shuffling over to join you on the bed. ‘Budge over.’ Jungkook tickled at your side, and you whined at the contact before rolling to the left side of the bed, before rolling under the covers trying to get warm. Jungkook did the same before switching off the lights.

And you tried to sleep but you were still too cold, you always had this problem. So, you tried to scuttle closer to Jungkook who was fast asleep facing away from you and eventually due to his warmth of his back, you fell asleep.

Jungkook felt a weight on his chest, so he opened his eyes and found you snuggled close to him, in a fetal position with one of your hands under your resting head and your other hand scrunching up against his shirt, he gently grabbed your hands and shivered at how cold they were,

He then gently wrapped his arms around you, lifting you up so your head was on the pillow, and he put his one of his arms under the pillow where your head was. Whilst the other draped over your waist you as moved closer to him, you snuggled close, he smiled at the adorable act smiling at you, his mate. ‘Night, my mate.’ He said whilst kissing the top of your head before drifting off to sleep.

Once you awoke the sun was shining through the windows, you were lying on your right side facing the window. You tried to budge until you felt two arms tighten around your waist, you turn your head to look over your shoulder and saw a sleeping Jungkook. His hair was messed up and fluffed up, but his eyes were in deep sleep, his lips were pouting out.

You smiled at the sight before you turned around and manage to slip out, underneath his arms and shuffled off the bed before heading to the ensuite and locking the door. You looked at yourself in the mirror before sighing and started to wash up.

You felt cold and went to grab your cardigan inside your duffle bag before you headed downstairs and started to make breakfast. Since no one was up yet, you accepted the responsibility to make the breakfast.

Jungkook on the other hand was awake and moved his hand only to see that you weren’t present in the bed, he looked around and realised the curtains were open allowing the sunlight to enter the dark room. He shuffled his way over to the mirror in the ensuite and ruffled his hair before he also got ready and headed outside into the hall.

He saw Hoseok and Irene chatting, he walked over to them. ‘Hi Jungkookie!’ Hoseok said in greeting before hugging one of his best friends, Jungkook let out a tired whine and a small ‘Morning…’ to both Irene and Hoseok. Then he smelled …food. ‘Hoseok-hyung is Jin-hyung cooking?’ he asked his elder tiredly. ‘No actually Jin-hyung is still asleep in his room along with Yoongi-hyung, the only ones awake are you, me and Irene.’

‘But y/n is not in bed then…’ Jungkook replied confused. ‘Y/n is probably cooking then; she usually wakes up at this to make herself breakfast since she’s alone at her house most of the time.’ Irene said thoughtfully. Jungkook nodded before heading downstairs.

When he entered the Kitchen, he saw you with your back to him looking at the stove. From the smell he could make out vegetable, chicken, pork, and beef were already cooked. He could see some were placed to the side of the stove in medium pots, containing other foods. He could also smell some rice in the cooker, and then he walked closer to you finding that you were cooking some eggs.

‘Morning y/n.’ He said. ‘Morning Jungkook.’ You said whilst looking over your shoulder to smile at him. ‘What are you making?’ ‘Bibimbap, I am almost done do you think you can get the table ready; tell Irene and Hoseok to wake up the rest of the group.’ You spoke.

Jungkook nodded before heading to the other side before grabbing 12 plates and 4 dish coasters and placed the coaster to the centre of the table with the plates at each seat.

He then grabbed the cups and placed them accordingly to the plates, with jugs filled with water at either end of the table. ‘Do you want to put out the dishes now?’ Jungkook asked you again. You nodded and pointed to the dishes that were ready.

‘Can you get the rice in a pot as well?’ you asked. Jungkook nodded and did that as well. Eventually one by one all the rest of the group headed downstairs and sat at the table and you and Jungkook sat next to each other on one end, the others sat around you accordingly. ‘Thank you for the food.’ Everyone said. You thanked them before everyone got a bit of everything before eating. Soon everything on the table was gone. ‘Waah. That food was so good y/n.’ Namjoon praised. The other nodded and thank you as well. ‘Well this is the food I make almost every day.’ I said whilst thanking them. ‘But seriously y/n its really good, it even woke me up from bed, and I am the hardest member to wake up.’ Jungkook said, you blushed and thanked him again.
