your state is what manifests, not your thoughts.
this has become a very inflammatory sentence for some, but it shouldn't be scary. states simplify manifestation, it doesn't complicate it.
at the beginning of my loa journey, i would affirm alllll day long. while watching tv, while reading, while hanging out with my friends. and by the logic of "your dominant thoughts manifest," i should've gotten my manifestations after only a few days of that. but i didn't, because dominant thoughts aren't what manifests, it's your state that manifests.
you are not a state. you are I Am, and you enter in and out of states all day long. there is an infinite number of states, and no one experiences states the same way. so even if two people are manifesting the same thing (for example, money), the State of Being Rich will probably look different for both of them. so there's really no one specific way a state should look/feel!
because there are an infinite number of states you can occupy, right now you have the power to be rich, just as much as you have the power to be poor. it is just as easy to occupy the state of being rich as it is the state of being poor. you are both of these things, and you know that you are both of these things because you can imagine being both of these things, and everything stems from your imagination.
the state that you consistently go to, also known as your dwelling state, is the state that manifests into your 3d reality.
so, how do you get into a state?
you switch states simply by intending to. the second you want to switch states, you do. in order to maintain this new state, you can use a technique such as affirming, scripting, or visualizing.
let's talk about affirming.
affirming is a TECHNIQUE. some people argue that since affirmations are just thoughts, you can never stop affirming and should be monitoring your thoughts all day long. i do not agree with this.
your thoughts do not manifest. it's why i spent my time from summer 2020-summer 2021 affirming on a constant loop 24/7 that i was in a relationship with my [old] sp, and it never manifested. it's why when you get intrusive thoughts they don't manifest. it's why--even tho every time you go to the bathroom you check behind the shower curtain in case something's there--nothing ever is. it's also why you were able to manifest something by thinking you wanted it once.
you do not need to "create new neural pathways" or think in your favor 24/7. your negative thoughts act as indicators that you fell out of your desired state, and you can instantly correct this by shifting back to the state of the wish fulfilled. you don't even need to flip the thought. your thoughts have no power, unless you give them power by allowing them to let you wallow in the state of lack.
all that being said, affirmations can help you maintain your desired state. i say maintain, because getting into the state is instant, and requires no technique. however, there is such thing as affirming from lack.
what is affirming from lack? it's affirming to get what you want. it's affirming from a state of not having your desire. it's the same as thinking of your desire, instead of thinking from your desire.
a few months ago, the 10k challenge was going around. it was marketed as a fool-proof way to get your manifestation, because all you had to do was "affirm 10k times to create a new neural pathway which created an assumption." yet so many people affirmed 10k+ times and still didn't get their desire. why? because they were affirming from lack.
quality > quantity. you can affirm 10k times and not get your desire, because you weren't in your desire state. you can affirm once and get your desire, because you were in the state.
so how do you not affirm from lack?
an easy way is to pay attention to your affirmations. mindless affirming is out! this shouldn't be a scary thing to hear, because as we discussed, there's no need for you to affirm 5 million times in order to reach some imaginary quota, because your thoughts don't manifest.
affirm with purpose! create an affirmation that implies you already have your desire, and repeat it with the purpose of conjuring the feeling of knowing. the feeling of knowing may feel like calm, peace, relief, contentment, or even excitement. when Neville Goddard said "feeling is the secret," this is the feeling he was talking about, NOT emotions.
if your affirmations are making you feel anxious, this can indicate one of two things:
affirming is not the technique for you (which is OKAY!!)
you're affirming to get
"affirming to get" is a big debate as well. yes, you are manifesting your desire because you want to get it in your 3D. but in order to get it in your 3D, you must change your 4D first. so you should be using techniques such as affirming in order to change your 4D, knowing that if you change your 4D, your 3D will follow. there is no one to change but self.
if affirming is not the technique for you, there is always visualizing, scripting, vaunting, etc.
also the distraction technique, my fav way to get into the state of the wish fulfilled! hehe
to sum it up:

where does persisting come in?
you should still be persisting in the fact that you already have your desire. you persist by consistently shifting back to your desired state, no matter what you see in the 3D.
reacting to the 3D, like negative thoughts, is an indicator that you have slipped from your desired state.
it can be very beneficial for you to have self-soothing tactics to use in case your 3D causes you to spiral or makes you anxious. these can include eft tapping, breathing exercises, etc.
your 3D is malleable. if you see something in your 3D that you don't like, you can change it. your 3D is simply a reflection of your dwelling state. if you don't see what you want in your 3D, let it serve as a reminder to shift your state back to your desired state. once again, you change your 4D to change your 3D. there is no one to change but self.
FAQ
question: if you can affirm to get into a state, doesn't that mean your thoughts create your state and that your thoughts technically manifest?
answer: WRONG! like i've mentioned earlier in this post, you enter a state by intention. affirming can help you maintain the state, but your thoughts do not create your state. your state creates your thoughts. every state has thoughts that correspond with it, which is why can manufacture affirmations that imply you already have your desire and repeat them to conjure the feeling of knowing. it's also why negative thoughts act as indicators that you fell out of the state.
question: isn't that the same as someone saying "just assume?"
answer: NO! there are techniques to help you maintain the state. yes entering a state is instant, but there are techniques for you to use to stay in it.
question: are states ableist?
answer: NO!!!! this is something that people are saying on loatwt in order to villainize the people who teach states, and it's frankly disgusting. ANYONE can get into a state, even if they are neurodivergent! you are always in a state! you're in a state right now. i am neurodivergent, as are most of my friends that are states enthusiasts, and it has helped all of us to manifest our desires without driving ourselves to mental exhaustion by affirming 24/7.
question: how long do i have to stay in the wish fulfilled?
answer: it's not so much about how long you stay in the state, it's about frequency. no, not frequency as the law of attraction vibration bullshit, but how often you go back to the state. if you think about your desire 15 times a day, you should shift back into the state 15 times that day. if you think about your desire 5 times, then you should shift back into the state 5 times that day.

How I Manifest With States
Step 1. I decide I have what I want
Step 2. I do nothing (maybe watch movies ๐Ÿ˜น๐Ÿ˜น๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—) (or drink โ˜•๏ธ and chill ๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’“) because now I have what I want, so there is nothing left to do ๐Ÿ’“
Step 3. Every time I think about that thing Iโ€™ll say โ€œI have it alreadyโ€ and thatโ€™s it! Usually this part isnโ€™t even necessary because it comes FAST ๐Ÿ”ฅ
You donโ€™t have to affirm over and over or reprogram your mind, you donโ€™t have to do ๐Ÿ’ฉ to get what you want! ๐Ÿ’— All you have to do is decide you have it now and once itโ€™s done it done, I know this works because once I said โ€œI want YSL Black Opium Perfume so Iโ€™m going to have it soonโ€ and the very next day my friend gave me two brand new bottles of it for free ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค I didnโ€™t affirm more than once or drain myself with repetition, I just decided I want it so Iโ€™m going to have it and the very next day it came to me ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’— Not even just one bottle, but two! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•
I know weโ€™ve been told repetition is what manifests and that we have to affirm over and over for every single thing we want, but thatโ€™s not only not true, itโ€™s also incredibly draining and stressful! Do you think GOD needs to worry about saturating their mind ???

Step 1: What do you want?
Step 2: You already have it
โ€ข You don't have to affirm 24/7 or affirm AT ALL if you don't want to! ๐Ÿ’— Because itโ€™s DONE! Just decide you have it and tell yourself you have it every time you think of it! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’• So letโ€™s use states for someone who wants long hair but theyโ€™re bald: โ€œOkay I decided my hair is long so it is DONE. There is nothing left for me to do. If I want I can say โ€œI already have long hairโ€ every time I think about my hair IF I want to but itโ€™s already done.โ€
Decide you have it, and know there is nothing left to do, you are so powerful you donโ€™t need to do ANYTHING but decide ๐Ÿ’— Donโ€™t suffer with repeating affirmations all day everyday if you donโ€™t want to, because at the end of the day itโ€™s YOU deciding itโ€™s true that manifests, not the repetition ๐Ÿ’—
Donโ€™t burn yourself out affirming all day every day for some breadcrumbs, go straight to the end and decide you have it now, so thereโ€™s nothing left to do ๐Ÿ’—

I did in fact tap into the void last night to speak to Cotton Candy. She is indeed my spirit guide and has always been around me I just never noticed too much until I tapped into the void. She also said Iโ€™m the reason she is a unicorn now, but before she was my old dog Goldi, Ebony, and Roxie ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ (itโ€™s a sad story).
I asked her when did she get pregnant, but she told me she never did. That her baby unicorn was created because of me. She does have a man and his name is Cliff and he seems nice. The baby unicorn is her baby, but I created her and her name is Taffy ๐Ÿ˜ญ.
Itโ€™s kind of cool to have these interactions. If I wanted to change them to dogs I could or if I wanted to change them into other things I definitely could. I donโ€™t know why I chose unicorns but I like it.
Oh I remember someone asked me about asking Cotton Candy with entering the void and stuff and she told itโ€™s easy to tap into the void, but people might be scared to enter it because they are too attached to the 3d. When they are really able to let go of the 3d then tapping into the void will become second nature.
I stayed in the void for a few hours it seemed like but when I got up, it looked like it was only 5 minutes ๐Ÿ˜‘ yeah time doesnโ€™t exist there so yeah ๐Ÿ˜‚.
I know some people only enter the void one time, but I actually love being there with my spirit guide and itโ€™s beautiful and peaceful.

โ™š 7 Day Void Challenge โ™š
This specific challenge is inspired by @rosellesworkshop challenge (which discusses listening to affirmations for 3 nights as well as during the day when you can and tapping into the void on the 4th night). Again, this challenge is inspired by that one specifically but instead of 3 days it is going to be 7 days. This challenge will also be using @lotusmi subliminals and affirmation tapes as well. I will link them below.
Routine
I have created a routine for those who have a hard time sticking to something. This is meant to be followed. If you do use this routine, stick to it. A lot of the reasons why people donโ€™t tap into the void is because they arenโ€™t consistent and they donโ€™t persist whether that be in affirmations or just living in the end.
Make sure your void list or desire list is completed. When you start this challenge I donโ€™t want you to be focused on the list and trying to change every thing because you saw something to add to the list. Stop doing that. Get your list together or just know exactly what you want to manifest in the void.
Once the list is complete, DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IN THAT LIST. LEAVE THE LIST ALONE. THERE IS NO REASON TO KEEP CHECKING THE LIST AND CHANGING STUFF. ITS DONE.
During the day, you can create your own affirmation tapes or subliminals to listen to. If you are using an iPhone, you can use the Parrot app to record your own voice and it automatically loops the affirmations. If not, then you can use @lotusmi HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL affirmation tapes and subliminals. This one is great to use during the day, but this one should be used with caution because it has morphic fields added to it and it might cause headaches if used for long periods of time. I would suggest using that in intervals. This one is a subliminal that can be used throughout the day but the music is quite upbeat, so just be aware of that. (Iโ€™ve personally used them and I love them!)
Also during the day if you arenโ€™t able to listen to the subliminals or affirmation tapes, I would suggest you loop an affirmation in your head. Now, Iโ€™m going to be very clear here, you are not saying the affirmation to force the 3d to change, you are saying the affirmation to help get into the state of being a void master. Please remember that. You can use โ€œI am a master at the voidโ€ or โ€œI always wake up in the voidโ€ or โ€œIn my reality, I always enter the void instantlyโ€ or any other affirmation that you would prefer to use.
At night, you can either use your own affirmation tapes or your own subliminals or the ones I linked above. But I would suggest that you use this one or this one. They are very calming and that helps especially if you are trying to sleep. And before anyone asks, yes you loop every single affirmation tape or subliminal that you choose to use.
You do this for 7 days. You do it without stalking Tumblr and asking questions to every blogger. Stop being on Tumblr and stop looking up different affirmations every other day. Stick to one or two affirmations to loop during the day if you arenโ€™t using the affirmation tapes or subliminals. And again do not say the affirmation trying to change the 3d, it doesnโ€™t work that way. Yes, you can robotically/mindlessly affirm as well. (If you donโ€™t know what that is, look it up).
The point of this challenge is to saturate your mind as much as you can. Do you have to do it for the whole 7 days? No, if you feel confident and you are living in the end and you know your state is one of being able to tap into the void state instantly then you donโ€™t have to keep doing it because at that point, just tap into it.
This challenge is easy, but if you complicate it then thatโ€™s on you. I tapped into the void a little while ago and affirmed with Cotton Candy that anyone who does this challenge, will enter the void at the end of the 7 days IF THEY LIVE IN THE END AND MAKE THEIR DOMINANT STATE A STATE OF BEING ABLE TO TAP INTO THE VOID INSTANTLY. I added that because I know some people will come on here 7 days later complaining nothing happened, yet they didnโ€™t do what was needed. So it really falls on you.
DMs will be open for one day but do not trauma dump or guilt trip me because I will just block you. I donโ€™t have time for the nonsense. I literally laid everything down right here. There isnโ€™t any excuse.

You never fail getting in the void. You ALWAYS get in the void. Just like you have respiratory system, circulatory system etc, you also have a void system. In the void system, your subconscious takes you to the void for relaxation. The organ here responsible is your subconscious. For those who say that they don't get into the void, let me tell ya, you would have been sick if that ever happened. Imagine, someone's circulatory system malfunctions, won't that person be ill or the worst case scenario, be dead? Same goes for the void. You are fit, fine, alive because your void system is WORKING. Even if you doubt and have negative thoughts all day, does your respiratory system stops? NO because your negative thoughts simply don't affect it. Just like that, your negative thoughts DO NOT affect your subconscious. It still works and takes you to void. You have a void system to relax yourself just like you have a digestive system to digest your food. Its as simple as that...

Why wait entering in the void to have your desires? Why not NOW?
Tell me, why not now? Ask yourself, why not now? Why not?
If you know you can have it now, what are you waiting for? If you know you are the cause, and that what you assume as truth is reflected, why you don't change SELF now?
If you know that every-single-thing only exists because you are in the state of unknowledging it, why won't you assume good things, and decide to ignore senses and circumstances, as you know they are only there because your old self assumed it?
If you know that circumstances die through indifference, why you keep reasoning about how to "stop" them? Why won't you decide to take control, leaving victim state? Letting that circumstances there, and moving to another state of mind?
If you know you don't have to fight thoughts, senses, the outside world, but let them there and focus in be at your desired state, why you won't do it?
If you know that all that matters is to live in the end, that means, feel the joy of the fulfillment of your desire, the relief, the peace, the grateful feeling?

If you know YOU are the CAUSE for all, even your doubts and fears, then you know you can also end them by moving to the love state.
If you know life is not happening to you, but from you, you would stop waiting for things to happen, or other people to help you, since you know that you and you only has power to do anything you can imagine.
Stop desiring, waiting, wasting your power, wasting your mental health with the outside world. Just by staying still, remembering you are the cause, and daring to assume you got the solution/ your desire and sticking to the fact IT IS ALREADY DONE. 3d will reflect in NO TIME and you CANNOT FAIL.

Hey Angels, today I would like to explain the role of our subconscious based upon the method of " Waking up in the Void State " .
This post will include the following :
1. What is the subconscious ?
2. How's Does our subconscious wake us up in the void state ?
3. How to access our subconscious ( Tips + Advice ).
4. Commanding your subconscious to wake you up in the void state .
( I will also include success stories from Tumblr from blogs whom I saw their anons who woke in the void state by Commanding their subconscious, truly inspiring ๐Ÿฅฐ. Also I will post some pictures of people Commanding their subconscious not related to the void , but it will help you learn how to command the Subconscious with anything because it is fun tbh ^_^.)

1. What is the subconscious ?
Our subconscious is part of our mind that stores our memory, habits and feelings etc. Our subconscious is awake 24/7 taking care of our body. Your subconscious is very receptive and responds to the nature of how you think. Your subconscious hears what you think 24/7 and believes everything you tell it, even if its not true. It's your faithful servant that will do and believe anything you say it basically. The subconscious is extremely amenable to suggestion.
2. How does our subconscious wake us up in the Void State ?
Firstly, remember when you woken up the time you wanted, yep that was your subconscious. Simply by making an intention to wake up in a specific time . If you tell your subconscious mind that you want to wake up in the void state, it will faithfully wake you up. Remember nothing is too hard for our subconscious and because you doubting all the time , you making it hard yourself เฒฅ_เฒฅ.
You breathe air without effort; likewise, you should learn to let the intelligence within your subconscious mind fl ow throug h your intellect without tension. Your subjective mind perceives by intuition. It does not have to reason or inquire, as it is an all-wise and an infinite intelligence. If you say to your subconscious, sometimes referred to as the sub jective mind (it is sub ject to the conscious mind), "Wake me up at 6:00 o'clock," you know that you will awaken exactly at the time specified. It never fails.

You see if you tell your subconscious anything , it will believe you. Waking up in the Void State is easy Bae โ™กโ€ฟโ™ก.
3. How to access your subconscious.
Your subconscious is only awake when your conscious mind is suspended is a sleepy, drowsy state which Basically Sats( State of akin to sleep ) .
"Charles Baudoin was a professor at the Rousseau Institute in France. He was a brilliant psychotherapist and a research director of the New Nancy School of Healing, who in 1910 taught that the best way to impress the subconscious mind was to enter into a drowsy, sleepy state, or a state akin to sleep in which all effort was reduced to a minimum. Then in a quiet, passive, receptive way, by reflection, he would convey the idea to the subconscious. "

In Neville words, "Think of the subconscious as a tide which ebbs and flows. In sleep, it is a flood tide, while at moments of full wakefulness, the tide is at its lowest ebb. Between these two extremes are any number of intermediary levels. When we are drowsy, dreamy, lulled in gentle reverie, the tide is high. The more wakeful and alert we become, the lower the tide sinks. The highest tide compatible with the conscious direction of our thoughts occurs just before we fall asleep and just after we wake."
So basically, from the subconscious is only awake when we are sleepy and Drowsy when we are getting ready to sleep which before bed time.
But if you have trouble relaxing before bed, don't worry I got you๐Ÿ˜š.
Tips on how to access the subconscious :
1. First Relax before bed , wear comfortable clothing. Lay in a comfortable position, whichever is comfortable to you.
2. Take deep breaths in from your belly Counting to 150- 200. Or any number you choose .
3. Do a yoga Nidra exercise. I literally swear by this and i often fall asleep to lol๐Ÿ˜ญ. The best one is by Lizzy hill on YouTube . It'll make youu so relaxed.
4. Listen to Alpha waves, theta waves which one you prefer. While taking deep breaths .
You can choose anyone method from above for relaxation โœจ. You mix it up, do a a breathing exercise then do a yoga Nidra together or Listen to binaural beats .
How to know when your subconscious is accessible :
โœฟ when you feeling tired and Relaxed, drowsy etc.
โœฟ your body feels numb and you don't want to move .
โœฟ your eyes feel heavy etc .
Advice :
In my personal option it's extremely easy to access your subconscious . You just have to relax thats all โ™ฅ๏ธโœจ. Don't stop yourself from getting your dreams because if doubts. Persist, Persist!
4. Commanding your subconscious to wake you up in the Void State.
Finally, the important part. When you feel tired and sleepy and when there's Zero Thoughts in your head start commanding the subconscious. Command for at least 5- 20 minutes for the message to sink in. And Command with Conviction!
Examples of commands, you can choose one ( whichever resonates with you angel ) :
- Subconscious I command you to wake me up in the void tonight.
- Subconscious wake me up in the void .
- Subconscious I will wake up in the void state tonight .
- Subconscious wake me up in the void at 1am( if you want a timeframe or choose a time when you want it to happen , anything is possible).
Remember to command for at least 10 minutes and fall sleep to it!!
And boom you woke up in the Void!!!๐Ÿฅณโ™ฅ๏ธ

my "do nothing" method
this isn't a method in itself but this is litteraly the funniest thing on earth for me and the best method i've ever tried. litteraly whenever i want something, i just instantly switch into a state of mind where i have that thing.
this is litteraly the concept of manifesting.
and what's funny is that everyone (and me as well) has or had this way of thinking that makes us overcomplicate anything. so now here we are looking for self concept affirmations and extra powerful "dangerous" subliminal and writing down 100x affs that sounds extremely wrong and unatural to us. what's funny is that, most of us will do all of those things without really understanding the purpose of it and even if it's not necessary at all to understand everything, i truly believe that it could be one of the main problems of manifestors.
how we manifest.
obviously we don't rlly know how it appears in our 3D as much as we don't rlly know why or how we live on a floating ball in litteraly nothing... my point is, you are in a state of mind. In the Neville Goddard reddit, i've learned a loooot of things and i understood this before really manifesting instantly. you are constantly in a state of mind; for exemple:
right now i am in a state of mind where i am writing my post about manifestation
5 hours ago i was in a state of mind where i was eating a kebab
and 1 year ago i was in a state of mind where i was struggling to get my desires
when you are manifesting, the state of mind that you are trying to reach is: i am in a state of mind where i have my desires
this is pure logic.
If you don't have your desires, you're thinking: "oh... i don't have my desires i should work on getting my desires."
and if you have them you're thinking "cool ! i have my desires, i don't need to do anything now."
and as you know (or don't), you must convince yourself that you have your desires in order to get them right? so (back to the method thing lol) why would you need to do anything if you have your desires ?
why would you need to take a bath if you are clean ? cuz you like that ? then sure ! take a bath to have fun, not to get clean since you already are.
why would you need to go buy bread if you already have some ? you don't need 2 baguettes, you have enough home and you are not even hungry since you already ate one (unless you're french and if you are then it's impossible that you don't have enough bread !)
see ? this is stupid, but this how we should think in order to get our desires. just replace bread or bath with your manifestation and see:
why would you need to write affirmations if you already are dating them ? cuz you like that ? then sure ! write affs for fun, not to manifest them since you already are dating them.
why would you need to listen to subs if you already have your desired body ? you don't need to manifest your desired body again, you already have it and you are satisfied with it !
and yes methods still works, ofc, but i truly believe that it can make you take way more time than it should espacially when your beginning and getting to understand manifestation.
anyways it's getting late and i'm tired and stuff so in the end

simplifying states
when you begin consciously manifesting your desires, it's important that you recognize that it is not your actions that manifest your desires, your state does.
sometimes people get a bit lost on what exactly a state within manifesting is, and how to achieve their desired state.
your state is where you most commonly dwell. it is what you see yourself as, the inner conversations you have with yourself in your day-to-day living, and how you view your life that's happening in front of you, and in turn, what reflects back to you in your 3D reality.
the whole point of methods like SATs, visualizing, or even meditating, is to put you into a specific state that aligns with your desire. when you are in your desired state, you will KNOW it. the thought of having your desire will feel entirely natural to you, and there will be absolutely NO doubt in your mind that your manifestation is YOURS. you pay no attention to the 3D and you are only focusing on the internal.
if you tell yourself once that you have your desire, then continue the rest of your day worrying about when it's going to come to you, and focusing on the 3D, then you are dwelling in the state of not having your desire. you can do hundreds of methods for the entire 24 hours of your day, but if you are not changing your state internally, you are not going to see your desire reflect externally.
switching states is as easy as blinking, and doesn't even require a method.
let's say you want to manifest money. obviously, you want money because you're currently in the state of not having it, and that is what you are seeing externally.
all you need to do from here is simply decide you have the money, and continue to live your day to day life, just as you do, with the assumption that you have the money. that's it. that's all there is to it.
you don't need to do anything extra, and the more you persist in this assumption, the more natural it's going to become, inevitably manifesting into your 3D. if you notice yourself having a thought that doesn't align with your desire, simply acknowledge that you do not identify with that anymore. that isn't who you are (because it isn't!).
at first, assuming you have what you want is not going to feel natural. but i promise you, if you persist in these assumptions, the naturalness, and even the self concept, is going to come along with it. this is what we persist for.
your state can change within a few hours if you truly allow yourself to feel it real, and assume you have what you want. it all comes from within. the 3D does not matter, the 4D does. where you dwell in the 4D is what is important, and is what is needed to manifest. <33
states are genuinely so simple, and not a hard thing to master in the slightest. all it comes down to is making a choice. you can either chose to assume better for yourself, or to continue to dwell in the state of not yet having what you want.
i feel you all deserve to assume better for yourselves, and get yourselves into the state of already having what you want... BECAUSE YOU DO! this is your world, and there is nothing too big, or too far, for you to manifest. you are so worthy of living the life you've always wanted, and it's all up to you to give yourself what you want.

you have to start being it, you need to be in a state that aligns with your desires, for example :
Ellie wants to tap into the void, but sheโ€™s in a state of hoping, meaning every time she wants to go to the void she has these thoughts | โ€œi really hope i enter the void tonight, i want my desires!โ€ / โ€œomg, i wish that tonight iโ€™ll enter the void, i canโ€™t wait anymore!โ€ | so until she changes that state of โ€˜hopingโ€™ and wishing, she wonโ€™t tap into the void.

-she has to start switching her thoughts to positive ones, she has to live in the end, meaning sheโ€™s already a master at entering the void, whenever a thought from the old story (trying era) comes to her mind, she has to switch it with thoughts from the new story, and persist in them, until itโ€™s natural for her to have thoughts from the new story.
