If you ship Hermione with ANY adult character, do NOT interact with my account. This means shipping her with Snape, Remus, Sirius, or any other ADULT character that interacted with her while she was a minor.

Even if you age up Hermione, I do not agree with this. You should not have to age up a character to ship them with another character. That is such a red flag.

I am disgusted with the amount of fan fictions and fan arts/edits that include young Emma Watson with her adult co-stars, such as Alan Rickman. I have seen many in a sexual manor, which supports such gross behavior.

While this is primarily about the sexualization of Hermione, this post also includes other minor/adult ships. If you ship any other child with an adult character, block me.

It continues to shock me how much the Snaters really don't know the canon.

First, Lily never rejected Severus the two of them have been best friends for years. The one pestering Lily to go out with him was James.

Second, the scene where Snape goes to Godric's Hollow doesn't exist in the book, it's just an addition in the movie to make everything more dramatic. (If we want to consider movie scenes canon then most of the accusations made don't exist since they don't happen. These people are really too confused) And then what? Or if we take the scene from the film at face value, Snape hugs the woman he loves instead of helping Harry, so what? This poor man was destroyed, can we leave him alone for two seconds to cry?

Starting the "Self-awareness" movement

When you're on a Snape-related video, with no connection with any of the Marauders YET someone says "Stan James Potter/bambi", let's, instead of argue, just answer "You are toxic" then leave. If they try to challenge why, give them a reality check - not on their love for James or their hatred for Severus - but on their behaviour. I have ventured on their videos and one said that they WILLINGLY went to Snape posts and said "Stan James" to make us react, because its "funny" (isn't it familiar? The larger group of people going on a smaller group of people - who asked nothing - and start teasing them and moking them? Realities are starting to collide). We should simply stop reacting and just scold them on their behaviour, because it's childish. May the ones who want to join, join.

One thing that never fails to shock me is how many Marauder stans I’ve seen hating on Draco for saying this line to Hermione in GoF:

“Granger, they’re after Muggles,” said Malfoy. “D’you want to be showing off your knickers in midair? Because if you do, hang around . . . they’re moving this way, and it would give us all a laugh.”

Yet somehow they can’t apply that same logic to what happened in SWM:

James whirled about; a second flash of light later, Snape was hanging upside down in the air, his robes falling over his head to reveal skinny, pallid legs and a pair of graying underpants.

Many people in the small crowd watching cheered. Sirius, James, and Wormtail roared with laughter.

I’ve seen Marauder stans who bash Draco and call him horrible for “making a SA joke,” but then go ahead and defend what the Marauders did (which was ACTUAL SA, not just a gross joke) in SWM as if that’s not much worse. The irony is ridiculous.

That’s always confused me because… they can clearly see the harm in a character making a SA joke, but they gloss over or even justify their favourites characters actually doing what said character joked about??? Make it make sense.

I don't know how many times I have heard a Marauders Stan tell me and other Snape Fans that we only like him because of Alan Rickman. Which is funny because they are the exact same people who only like the Marauders and also death eaters like Regulus because of their hot fancasts. And I don't even have a problem with it because yes Alan Rickman did play a part in me liking Snape and I believe you can like pretty much every fictional character because they are fictional. The difference is that I don't excuse Sev's behaviour because I think he looks good unlike these Marauders Stans.

And Harry immediately assumes it was because Snape's up to evil and got busted for it (although it's more than likely it was actually because Harry wasn't supposed to see this at all)
