@ougiba07734 sideblog. this world revolves entirely around my ocs and their universe (sfm).
mostly art and rambles. vague lore posting.
feel free to ask anything!
it's always so fascinating and heartbreaking when a character in a story is simultaneously idolized and abused. a chosen prophet destined for martyrdom. a child prodigy forced to grow up too fast. a powerful warrior raised as nothing but a weapon. there's just something so uniquely messed up about singing someone's praises whilst destroying them.
Transcript for the dialogue parts in the cop car animatic (since they moved too fast to be readable):
[Moira, talking to Fenhua]:
My father, your boss, the man who knows everything about everyone.
Vincent Clarke.
Guilty as he is, with immeasurable sins and with even the Gods judging him;
Despite all of this, he's still my father, the one who's saved me time and time again. He took care of me like no other.
And though he is corrupt, are we not all that way?
Fenhua, what's done is done. It's all in the past now.
Yes, I had to pay with my own life, but I don't regret anything. I don't condemn anyone. I have already forgiven them.
My father still blames himself, even after all these years. My only wish is for him to move on and be happy. And though that might be possible for him, it is not for the woman who hired you, the one that's been helping you. Selene Campbell wants to take Vincent down for my sake.
And her need to avenge me has already driven everyone else away from her.
[Fenhua, monologuing]:
Even then, how can she [Moira] forgive them? How can she be okay with that?
All they do is point fingers at one another, never taking accountability. And yet, she forgave them.
"What's done is done."
How can she say that after having been killed? All of this just makes me want to find out even more. The answer to my biggest question, or, well, concern: "Who killed Moira Clarke?"
.
.
[Moira]
"Never saving me."
"You loved me, but you never saved me."
"It was you. You. You didn't save me."
"You refused to see what was right in front of you. The truth."
one of fenhua's too many nightmares/hallucinations of moira after getting in contact with her spirit/consciousness (accidentally...but still.)
she's not really trying to haunt him, more so get him to "free her" which does not work as she just ends up bound to him instead of the book she was bound to initially. but oh well.
