Quick few questions for artists who do commissions through Ko-Fi, or just does commissions in general!

What is your commission process like through the creator side?

I’m deciding about doing some sketch commissions once in awhile and I’m thinking of hosting it through ko-fi.

I’m looking for some insight on how you conduct/interact with a client, once they’ve ordered a commission.

For now, I want to start slow and just start off with sketches, and maybe cater to a specific fandom I’m in.

Do artists who JUST do sketch commissions still include revision phases? Or do you draw whatever your client has described, and send them the final sketch, and then the commission is done.

What’s a good practice, that is typical?

eXACTLY how i felt!

im always such a sucker for any implications of the “absent parent” trope, because it’s SUCH a deeply sad story when a parent is not there for their child

especially when the reason for a parent’s absence is because they are pursuing something, that oftentimes, take more presedence in their life

and as the child, they will think that they come second to their parent’s passion

THAT’S HEARTBREAKING

and then to see that same passion on your own child, after you’ve grown and become a parent yourself—like how do you deal with that

⭐️ Badboyhalo from the QSMP is a Moscow Water Dog.

Also known as the Moscow Diver, Moscow Retriever or Moskovsky Vodolaz, the Moscow Water Dog is a now extinct breed of dog that was developed by the Soviet Union but reportedly the breeding program was discontinued as the dogs would attack drowning victims instead of saving them. They were used in development of the Black Russian Terrier. After World War II, there were very few working dogs in the Soviet Union as many had been killed during the war. Some were imported but there were not enough to establish a dedicated breeding programme for a specific breed. By the middle of the 1980’s ‘Russia’s Water Dog’ could not be distinguished from the Newfoundland. It was then that it was considered to be an extinct breed.

I didn't watch the QSMP and am trying to find this for a friend so any info helps ^^
