oh yeah, here's my piece for the @gf-seasons-zine!! this was so much fun to work on, I'm still so happy I got to contribute to it!

gee kouki, how come tatsu lets you be the princess of the pygmies AND the lord of the flies?

it feels wild how little of a fandom this anime has, for how good its plot is, and the canonical trans man protagonist??

but then I remember how (UNDERSTANDABLY) offputting the initial premise and first twoish episodes are, and it's like. oh yeah. no one is even finding out that the plot is good and the protagonist is trans. they're not even watching it. and I can't even blame them

anyway. timeline where yuta just tries immediately telling mikatan everything?

their persona skills + abilities mesh really well in combat so I like to think they're besties. literally no other evidence for it, but it's true and real to ME

the Phoenix Fire Gauntlet, conjuring a fire which turns to black glass,

the Oculus, with an eye appearing in the monocle's reflective lens,

the Gaia Sash, with vines appearing behind it and flowers blooming on the belt,

the Philosopher's Stone, a simple rock that transforms through a series of different colored materials,

the Temporal Chalice, creating a bubble around it and an hourglass that cannot progress time in front of it until it pops,

the Animus Bell, shadowy magic flows behind it until the Bell rings and banishes it,

the Bulwark Staff, bringing together light and conjuring a shield.

@monochrome-walker is out now, go check it out here!! this zine was super fun to work on, and it was fun to kind of use a palette as comic panels for the layout of this piece (and the rest of this piece was fun, too! but that was my favorite part of the initial idea, hehe)
