I hope the other remakes take notes from Druck s5😇 I've said before that Druck is the only remake I would trust with an original season and yay so far it seems like they don't disappoint.

If you create interesting characters and stories then people will get on board even if it's a new cast!! I also love that Druck cast teen actors, it makes everything more authentic and real.

Druck give me Skam vibes - so congrats 👏💞

This new girl being racist (if that's true) towards her 'crush' has the same energy as Robbe calling Sander slurs and accusing him of taking advantage of him. They still ended up happy and in love though..

I mean, I always disliked Willhelm for 'blackmailing' Noora to get her on a date and I never really warmed up to them as a couple, but Wtfock has taken this *disrespect your crush and end up happy together* to a new level

It's great that we see these teens struggle on screen, make mistakes, grow, learn and educate themselves and everyone deserve a second chance etc etc BUT to have them always (?) end up in happy relationships with the same people who disrespect and hurt them badly...yeah it kinda sends the wrong message imo...🤔🤷‍♀️

Will there ever be a purer, sweeter or more innocent moment in any tv series, movie or in any Skam universe ever, than Isak's face when he's asking the boys if he should add a 'Smiley?' texting Even?

And that moment is also so telling for how Isak feels about Even and what kind of relationship he wants them to have. Isak just wanna be honest, supportive and so good to Even❤️

How hard can it be to stop after you've written skam ?!?

Like every remake have their own name? and if people want to include both Skam and the remakes, why not tag it skam universe or something? It can't be that hard...

Bc Skam isn't a universe, it's the name of the original show and you shouldn't change the name just bc there are remakes?!?

As much as I love Even and I really really would LOVE to see the world through his eyes - if Skam was ever only coming back for one season - I would choose a Vilde season.

I just know that her season would be so important for so many people and I know Ulrikke would've nailed it.

Yes Vilde could be really annoying and also ignorant, but it's easy (and sad) to see the energy she puts into holding up her facade. Her image is so important to her and she's hiding her struggles from everyone, even her best friend. It's so sad.

Her struggles with her self image and body issues, her mothers alcoholism and depression, their financial status - all of this is something a lot of teens would relate to. I'm familiar myself with hiding your true feelings and your family's struggles and to always do your best to keep up a positive facade. Vilde simply didn't want people to know the truth bc she was ashamed.

Ok so I've rewatched a lot of Skam lately (from all seasons) and this show is iconic. And no remake come even close to give me the same feelings. I hardly ever think about the remakes I've watched, but I still miss the original show and the original characters. 3 years after Skam ended. Iconic👌

It's weird to think about Skam, were Julie wanted the youth to come together and discuss the show and the characters actions, while Julie herself never interacted with the audience and the actors were protected from the spotlight, not allowed to do interviews etc

Vs Skam france were the director and others from the french team can't seem to not interfere with fans' reactions and practically tell them how to feel, give likes to posts who only praise them and block people who don't..

The actors (at least some of them ahem..) is being heavily used in promoting the show and there's a lot of interviews, bts footage etc but it also seems like there's a lot of 'special treatment' going on here...or maybe it's just Tumblr that focuses 90% on a couple of the actors while in reality the others are giving the same exposure or treatment? I hope so bc if not it's pretty telling..

I've been very critical on everything above from the very beginning of skamfr s3 bc I've always felt that the characters and the show should be able to speak for itself? And also it should be okey for people to react spontaneously on what they see and also let them proceed that information and discuss it, without being told from adults making the show how they should feel? Bc people have different upbringing, different experiences and different perspectives and therefor they will see things differently - and that should be okey?

Isak's words 'only you can feel what you feel' is so important and I feel Julie always respected her young audience no matter what the reactions from them were. I guess I wish the french team would've done the same, that's all.

I'm 90% sure that if we ever got an Even season it would've been a very down to earth portrayal of mental health struggles.

Sometimes I just miss the beautiful silence and quietness from original Skam. Those clips when the main is all alone and not a word is spoken and yet we feel everything they feel? Yeah that's it. That's some really good shit👌

When therapy isn't working then yes it's a good idea to change therapist or try something different BUT this is ep 9 so maybe it's time to start showing these struggling teens out there that things can and will be better?

The message should be that seeking therapy and professional help is necessary and a good thing, not something you should worry if it's worth trying bc there's a possibility it won't work.. Gah is it really that hard to show some positive realism?!?

I'm just so done with skamfr idea of rEaLiSm. Yeah we get it, France isn't Disneyland 🙄

Well if nothing else this at least proves that Julie is not one bit involved in approving the remakes - and no she has not read the scripts - she would simply never allow this in the name of Skam asfgjkl

Nrk on the other hand...they really don't care about protecting the Skam brand or Julie's work...they simply care about making money... Sigh
