Good morning all you lovely people!

I'm thinking of getting back into running panels at anime conventions and I am planning on revamping my con dos and don'ts panel for an upcoming one day con. I wanted to reach out to the community to see what topics are important to bring up these days, as I haven't been out since 2019.

No, it's not. I just haven't been able to bring myself to write these days. I have docs and half finished chapters and outlines and I'm just very tired..

But also with no engagement on the actual fic, I don't feel inspired to continue anything.

I was thinking I really want to recreate this artwork of the khux kids, but with each character there’s a different artist and then it ends up being this cool thing with all of our different styles

Would anyone be interested in doing something like this??? Maybe send me a DM or an ask if you are!

Wow! I really wasn’t expecting so many people to be interested, so I’m going to change how I’m doing this slightly!

I’m going to open my submission box (or ask or Dm), and any finished characters, please submit them there. Please send your character with a transparent background (if not possible, let me know)

What’s going to happen is, once I’ve got everyone’s submission complied (it’s going to remain open indefinitely for now) then multiple variations of the piece will be made!

Also, another note I hadn’t originally made, you are allowed to make slight changes, such as if they’re holding something or a slight different perspective with their pose.

this is a participant call for a mini KHUX multiple animator project! The (VERY) rough storyboard is here:

There are 13 open parts! Some scripted, some free spaces. Pay attention to the red numbers in the bottom left. Sorry that the first one is -1,

I will be DMing people who responded to the last post first to see if they still want to participate, so look out for this. This map is kinda first come first serve, predicated on the fact that you have a means to animate. You must have a program that lets you draw and lower the opacity at least, or an animation program. I will be asking for at least two backups if you are willing, let me know if you want that position specifically!

the final project will be

Full colored animation - don’t be afraid to ask for help, but it can’t be sketches! You have to be willing to at least try a background.

At minimum three frames per part, OR tweened

soft deadline of the end of this year
