Tldr: almost got hate crimed today!!!

Me and 3 friends were walking around downtown (I'm a regular at a lot of stores and I'm close with the community) and as we go to walk into a hippie store a group of about 5 or 6 shirtless barefoot boys bark at us. I laugh and yell faggot (bc I can) and we go in. Now for reference one of my friends is ginger, im wearing a raccoon, coyote, and lynx tail, my ftm friend is wearing a halter top and he's not exactly twig thin yknow, and my other friend is blonde and wearing a long skirt and crop top (pretty normal in the area tbh) we went inside and laughed abt them a little and walked back out and there they were waiting outside the store for us!!

"I heard you talking about us you got beef??"

"Meh whatever"

A few more comments followed such as i don't lay my hands on girls but girls with tails are different, gays blah blah blah, you're ginger cuh, ill fight you, and more barking.

Atp when they start barking again we turn around to leave and start laughing at them and call them good boys while occasionally calling them faggots again. But it doesn't stop there, they followed us!!! A whole block!!! So we warned everyone else we interacted with that day especially bc someone had a rainbow tail on and we wanted to make sure they knew. Anyways we were leaving and who do i see in a store??

Ok wow I'm starting to slowly feel like my friends actually think I'm annoying. :( I try to joke around and one of em goes "nooo" or "stooopp" and I'm starting to feel like they mean it chat I'm going insane bc i value them so much and I don't wanna lose them but part of me knows I'm never the first option :( I stress about every little thing I say and if I come across as annoying to literally anyone I get so upset because I just want everyone to like me but at the same time I feel so awkward doing anything.

I really hate talking about my personal life online, especially because I use this as a means of escapism but my life is literally going to shit and I don’t know what do anymore.

To make a long story short: I have until June to get $3000 or i might end up on the streets.

I live in my grandfather’s house. He died. My family is selling the house and there’s literally nothing I can do, i’m not getting any money from them selling it. All I got in the will is a couch. I don’t have a car. I don’t have anywhere to stay. And I make eight dollars an hour at my job. I just ride my bike or walk to work and I’ve never had the money for a car. I have someone willing to sell me their used car for $3000, and at least that way I could sleep inside of a vehicle. I have a cat who I am not willing to part with so renting somewhere that is not cat friendly is completely out of my cards, which makes finding a place difficult. Especially because I don’t have a vehicle so I need to stay somewhere near my work.
