Shen jiu and bingge r my favourite blorbos. They r so intresting. They literally parallel each other. They both because the monster they hated and funnily enough shen jij is more self aware about him. They r the most interesting character in the whole book. Mxtx cooked with them. I hate it when people say that luo binghe ( both mei and ge variant) was charmed by shen jiu. Yes,the man who poured piping 'hot' tea on my head is really my soulmate.

He was awed?Sure Thought Shen jiu is the prettiest man ever? Valid But charmed? Doubtful

Bingge and Bingmei both believed shen jiu was trying to tough them up. During the fight against sky hammer their fate split. Shen yuan's action made bingmei believe that he truly didn't hate him. But for Bingge it only solidified his idea that shen jiu hated him.

Bingge didn't pickle jiu because he rejected his crush it was because shen jiu( his kind of parental figure) rejected his humanity (demonity u get it). Which means trying to kill him( the fake manual, forced to fight a elder demon as a child etc)

Saying Binghe's feeling originated from shen jiu is a discredit to shen yuans dedication and love which was what changed bingmei's life.

No hate lol. I don't hate shen jiu he's like my fave character. So yeah I hope I made sense. Thx for reading my rambling.
