What Bullshit || Journal Entry #1

A week and a half. It's been a week and a half since I ran away, and I've ended up in New York City. What can I say? It wasn't the best decision to just run away from the whole situation, but I was getting so tired of it. Tired of him. I was so finished waking up in the morning and seeing him not in bed and.. coming home at night to see his drunk ass passed out on the couch. I was tired of feeling pain run up my body. Maybe people would have seen me as pathetic for just running. I could already hear my relatives and friends telling me to man up and take it. But you know what? I was tired of going to bed with new bruises. New marks. New wounds. The words "I care" now mean nothing to me. It only meant that something bad was about to happen. So I started to have a panic attack this morning when I received a text from his number. The two words that scared me half to death was in my read text messages, and maybe if I didn't read it.. nothing would have happened.
