do you ever think about how zuko struggled with making the right choices all his life, and yet he decides to die for katara without even thinking about it? and how katara has put her own needs second to those of the people she loves since she was eight years old, but here zuko is choosing her over his life, his throne, his chance to end the war, putting her first over absolutely everything he should care about? and also how after all of that, somehow the fans were the insane ones for thinking they were in love?

I’m not even sorry I love Lockwood’s suicidal hypocrisy so much, especially when he’s begging for Lucy’s life. Like Lucy has said herself sometimes she thinks she’s better off dead and Lockwood feels the exact same way about himself. But the thing is, when it’s Lucy, he always disputes it, always argues against that line of thought. He can’t do it for himself (yet) and he can’t see that he really does have things to live for too and people who will miss him, but he can do it for her. He knows she’s suicidal sometimes, just like him, and he’s always putting himself in danger, but when it comes to Lucy he can so quickly and so deliciously and so hypocritically say “she has so much you live for, let her go”
