banters with childe is something you look forward to. you find his reactions amusing, especially when he displays competitiveness. sometimes, banters would lead to tickle fights where the loser gets to fulfill five dares.

you rest your elbow on the bridge rail, admiring the view of the ocean as you wait for childe's arrival. a light pat falls into your head, fingers lightly curling on your hair and you turn to see childe by your side.

"you're pretty early today," he says, smiling down at you. "excited to see me?"

"nope, you're just five minutes late," you reply holding up your clock.

childe laughs at your remark. "since when were you particular with time?"

"since i began running delivery errands at the inn," you reply. "so why did you call me out here?"

childe drops his smile and fixates his gaze on the ocean in front. childe locks his fingers together and sighs. "i have bad news."

"what is it?" childe sighs one more time before turning to meet your eyes.

"i'm leaving for snezhnaya tonight," he answers.

"is that even bad news?" you wrapped your arms around your stomach as you burst out of laughter. "you have to work on your acting if you want to fool me, childe."

"you surely know how to make me feel special." he playfully rolls his eyes and chuckles. but he was serious, though. he's leaving for snezhnaya tonight and he does not know how long it would take for him to come back. he watches you laugh your heart out when an idea comes into his mind.

he pokes your side and you jump in surprise, grinning when you got the message. "i see how it is," you say. "i hope you're prepared to do five dares, dummy."

"and i hope you're prepared to pack your things and come with me to snezhnaya because i have no plans on losing this time."

so... xiao visits the teapot without the teapot spirits' knowledge and the teapot animals would sit and stare at the roof, confusing tubby. what's in the roof? is there something i should know about?

i think tubby could move around while floating just like paimon so tubby flies toward the animals and looks up to see a sleeping vigilant yaksha.

tubby's puzzled. usually, the dogs would bark if they saw someone unfamiliar. so how long has xiao been visiting and how come he never noticed until now?

tubby sighs and goes back to his place by the main building entrance. "it's great to see you again, adeptus xiao. welcome home," tubby whispers with a small smile.

idk if this is making any sense but i hope it does lmao i've written so many xiao hcs and imagines but i'm scared of posting them 👍

honestly, I could picture you and kuroo playing genshin impact in coop mode.

you’d carry him in domains since you’re the higher-leveled player.

in the middle of the game, he proposes a challenge to use level 50 characters in a fight against ruin guards and hunters. No healers and food buffs.

kuroo’s characters would die multiple times in the game and he’d call the game rigged.

“this game cheats!” kuroo says after his 13th character death.

“no,” you reply. “you’re not dodging the attacks. that’s why.”

akaashi

you and akaashi are in a healthy long-distance relationship for over a year now

when both of you decide to meet halfway, he always has something for you.

it would either be an oversized shirt or hoodie, athletic wear, or a new pair of sneakers.

“how you been?” you ask as you sit across akaashi.

“never been better,” he replies and turns to his side to grab his gift.

“you don’t have to do this every time, you know?”

sometimes, you decide to tease him and he’d get so flustered he’d finish his drink in one gulp.

“and you thought i’d look good wearing these sneakers?” you smirk.

akaashi’s cheeks heat up and he looks away, gulping down his drink.

oikawa

when oikawa finds out you like playing basketball, you best believe he would learn how to play the game.

and for someone who’s new to basketball, he does pretty well.

“for three!” oikawa says before shooting the ball into the ring.

surprisingly, it’s a perfect shot. “yes, sir!” he celebrates and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes playfully.

“first one to score 30 points gets free lunch tomorrow?” he asks, grinning ear to ear.

“make sure you bring enough change for my lunch tomorrow,” you answer and oikawa bursts in laughter.

bokuto

honestly, i can imagine you and bokuto skating together

he isn't good at it so you have to be patient and teach him the basics

once he gets used to it, he'd challenge you to a skating competition

it would mostly be racing but he'd also be down to challenge you in a skating trick show off with akaashi as the judge

bokuto displays a strong admiration while watching you perform your tricks and he nudges on akaashi.

"see that? that's my girl doing a cool trick."

he's proud of you & the things you do.

i know i've been gone for a long time. in those days where i'm absent, i felt drained. i couldn't come up with ideas. somehow, i felt that i couldn’t write anymore, so i spent most of my time reflecting and reading. 

now that it's summer break, i think i had adequate rest so i feel like writing again. i'll only write when i feel like it though! i don’t want to view writing as a burden.

When Zhongli showed up at the front door of yours and Ganyu’s shared home, it was safe to say you were worried. Especially since after he greeted you, he stated there was a situation that required your help quite urgently. Gold eyes looked down at you apologetically as he explained that something had happened to Xiao as a result of the traveller and him upsetting some old mage in Bishui Plains. Eyes wide with curiosity and mind running wild with the possibilities of what might have happened to your fellow Adeptus, you quickly followed Zhongli and the traveller to Wangshu Inn, ready to summon your weapon and fight. Above all, you were afraid that Xiao may have lost his fight to the demons and voices that roared and screamed in his head. Both you and Ganyu had seen first hand what karmic debt did to the strongest of Yakshas. Each step closer was another stab of worry that ran through your blood. You and Xiao were not the best of friends, more like good acquaintances. And yet, you found yourself in the company of the brooding Vigilant Yaksha when you did not want to seek out the Adepti in Jueyun Karst and your sister was busy. Though he was aloof and preferred the peace and quiet of Wangshu Inn, he made no complaints when you sought out his company on lonely nights. You knew, that deep down, the depths of your old heart, you had fallen for the Adeptus thousands of years ago.

“I must warn you, Xiao is not—” Zhongli began as the three of you stood on the balcony, your eyes darting around trying to catch sight of the Adeptus.

“Hello darling.” A gust of wind blew from behind and you whirled around, nearly screaming in shock at how close Xiao was standing to you. Your hands raised to press to his chest to push him away when you stopped short. Your hands were on his chest.

A/N: i’ve been so inactive lately because i ran out of ideas, and i just wanna take a break since my professors got no chill with handing assignments. anyway, enjoy! happy valentine’s day!!

there are times when kageyama thinks of your name and adds his surname to get familiar with how it sounds. sometimes, he'd write it down. he claims he's practicing, but he thinks it's attractive. very attractive.

of course, he would never admit such a thing to you.

one afternoon, you pretend to be asleep while cuddling with your boyfriend and you hear him add his surname to your name. your eyes opened, and it startled him.

"i t-thought you were a-asleep?" it's clear that he's surprised and panicking.

"you added your surname to my name," you said, dazed at the sound of your name with his. of course, tobio denies and tries to save himself from embarrassment.

"say it again," you told him, and he looked the other way declining your request.

"please, babi?"

tobio takes a sharp breath upon hearing you call him. he turns to you and peeks, seeing and giving in to your puppy eyes. "stop making that look," he says.

you know what he's talking about but act like you don't. tobio sighs. "i said stop making those puppy eyes, kageyama y/n".

faint blush appears on his cheeks, and you chuckle at how adorable he looked. you give him a quick peck on the cheek and nuzzled into the crook of his neck.

"i love you, babi."

hinata shoyo

nishinoya and tanaka walk over to hinata and teases him about his relationship with you. your boyfriend tenses when tanaka places an arm around his shoulders to whisper something into his ear. nishinoya wiggles his eyebrows and hinata let out a breathy laugh sheepishly smiling.

"would that make her really happy?" hinata shifts his gaze at tanaka and nishinoya answers for him, telling him to go for it.

you enter the gym and tanaka and nishinoya giggles as they pat hinata's back, urging him to move towards you. hinata catches your eyes and walks towards you.

"hey," you greet.

"h-hey." hinata looks away and you slightly tilt your head, confused with his gesture.

"is there something you wanna tell me?"

hinata takes a deep breath and parts his lips to say something, but stutters.

you take a step closer to him and cup his cheeks. "what's wrong?"

startled, hinata screams, "hinata y/n!" everyone present at the gym paused what they're doing and turned their heads to look at the two of you with surprise that soon turned into smirks. tanaka and nishinoya burst into laughter and held their abdomens as they lay on the floor. heat rushes onto your cheeks and you bury your head in your boyfriend's chest.

"why'd you do that?" you punch his chest which frightens hinata.

"i'm sorry! i didn't mean to."

now, you have to keep an eye on tanaka and nishinoya if you don't want something like this to happen again in the future. but your name sounds pretty with his last name.
