Karakondžule Karakondžule are female night demons, and belief in them is spread in Serbia, Macedonia and Bulgaria. They are pictured as old women with huge iron claws and teeth. They come out at certain time of year and it is ill advised to wander around in these nights. If karakondžula crosses path with a human being, she will jump on him and ride him until dawn, considering if he lasts that long
