the concept of a respawn anchor is so funny. in the Overworld, when you're struck and fall, you wake up in your bed, tucked into the covers with a pillow behind your head. "it's okay," the universe says, for it is kind, "you can try again. rest until you're ready."

the respawn anchor drags your dead and burning body through the hellscape you've sent it to and stabs it through with lightning until you're up and feeling considerably worse than how you did at death. the box will spark and hiss and scream at you to feed it again, or you won't be making it back the next time you're pitched into molten lava.

"i am kind," the universe says. "so i provided you with a world that you could've easily chosen to remain in. player, you cannot sleep here. you forfeited your right to a bed by leaving the confines of my great kindness. if all that you seek is within you, you can do without me."

Anyways, I just got dragged into a few new smps by some friends so I'll be streaming more than just Anhedonia!

We got Melyn SMP, a QSMP inspired server with eggs and even some gods!

Anhedonia SMP of course, my own lovely server

And a new upcoming one! It's inspired by the Yandere High School series and maybe Danganronpa (if we find a way to work it in)

So I've got some unfortunate news.

I've been pretty sick and out of it for a while and I've been forgetting to download my VODs to upload to YouTube, so I think some of them are lost. I really wanted to avoid this happening but I am still very new to this. I'll have to rewatch the videos I downloaded and see just how much I missed. Hopefully not too much of the Anhedonia story is missing.

This was something that worried me when I decided to start streaming, I don't want to be stuck in the middle of drama when all I do is play silly games with my friends. What's the point of drama in a place where we're all supposed to have fun?

Am I the only one who kinda hates how a large section of content creation has become less about the content people create, and is instead fueled by drama baiting creators and channels? Like I haven’t seen so much negativity and infighting with some communities in such a long time and it seems to be filled by these creators who use it in order to get more clicks and views.

I’ve seen articles framed as something purposefully misleading or worded in a way to try to stir up drama between communities and get more attention to their site.

There’s still a lot of good creators making so many creative things, but a large section of it has just become shitty reality tv between people who only react to other people’s shitty reality tv. I’m just confused as to how a job that is meant to be at its core about creativity and passion has been taken over by the drama that arises between people who cater to that negativity and feed into it.
