I started drawing "seriously" back in 6th grade, and am now starting college, so a bit ago now ! I got my first drawing tablet pretty early on, at 13-ish (good old Wacom intuos :'))

Honestly I think getting used to the medium can be the hardest part in digital art, for the longest time I didn't understand canvas sizes, DPI, even layers !

I'd say the most important things when it comes to getting better is both making sure art stays really enjoyable to do and not force yourself into an art school-ish mindset where every artwork has to be perfect and exactly like you envisioned it, it's tooootally fine to make "bad" art pieces !

I also totally recommend figure studies ! I found that my anatomy and understanding of how the body works got better super fast using this website's figure studies tool! The "classes" are whatever length you pick so you don't have to force yourself through 1 hour of this if you only want to warm up for 30 min. (They also have the same thing for animals if that's more up your alley!!)

But yeah !! Enjoy art first and foremost, and when you find yourself stuck on a specific part, don't hesitate to look it up or ask around for help from other artists !
