The characters I love are genuinely of two types

First, a hug from whom none of my problems would be solved, they just might increase, and it won't even be enjoyable.

......BUT I WANT ONE

And the other one that needs a hug from someone (most times not me) but I'm the only one here soooo

I adore kind characters. I adore them, their unlimited amount of empathy and understanding regardless of the who or the what of the situation.

But what I love most is the inherent tragedy these characters carry through

I also love how their kindness breaks them, twists them sometimes it then who twists and as they stare in the eyes of the person they love bleeding and wonder why.

Or sometimes as they look in the sky years later and see destruction caused by someone they saved and wonder why.

Or sometimes as it all burns down burnt in the flames of those they couldn't save, because you can only cut your heart out so many times and then wonder why

There's something about villain x hero couples that makes me ship them like no other. Like ugh ik it's toxic and probably even illegal but dammit

What do you mean ending that person's existence is the reason for your survival? What do you mean you've never felt more alive than when fighting with them? What do you mean no one understands you like them? What do you mean they are your perfect parallel? What do you mean they had the biggest impact in your life?
