He added, after a pause: “Remember this, my friends: there are no such things as bad plants or bad men. There are only bad cultivators.”

I love it when people try to claim representation in fiction is being taken “too far” to the point where it’s no believable. They’re like:
“What’s next, a mixed-race immigrant on the autism spectrum?” Hi, my name is Rachel, also known as Rachna, and I’m a mixed-race immigrant on the autism spectrum.
“What’s next, a transgender Latino man with chronic pain?” What, you mean my former colleague, Marco?
“What’s next, a Black Jewish lesbian?” Bitch, I know I three Black Jewish lesbians, WHAT’S YOUR FUCKING POINT?
#queer mexican transmasc#but if we are getting into specifics#mexican mlm arospec demi agnostic gender nonconforming trans man with learning disabilities and a prominent mood disorder

people think they shouldn't vote as a protest or whatever because they've been raised on boycotts. which do sometimes work.
boycotts deprive the target of money.
not voting does not deprive the government of money.
it does, however, deprive you of power.
it's not like a boycott.

Additionally additionally it would be lovely for us to remember that, yes, despite being fat and hairy ! bears are not the stoic / dominant /masculine alternative to sassy / submissive / feminine twinks and otters. The terms twink, otter, and bear are not meant to be a sliding scale from traditional femininity to masculinity as it pertains to heteronormative archetypes.
There are feminine bears, disabled bears, squeamish bears, gnc bears, sassy bears, regressing bears, completely submissive bears that will not top their partners, asexual/aromantic bears, transgender bears, bears who don’t want to be your stoic dom daddy; there is more diversity than I could have enough time to detail. All of them are vital to our community, and all of them matter.
here since none of you know what a bear is
#bears i admire you deeply thank you for all you have done and continue to do for the community#including and especially trans/gnc bears#also i think you’re all beautiful and breathtaking and have a ginormous crush on u dm me thanks#i’ll court you formally istg#strangling the air this is important to me#ranting

When sorrow and difficulties strike hard, hope becomes the lone star in the dark sky. This is the story of Amira, a 23-year-old girl who found herself bearing the burden of her family after her father's death three years ago due to the coronavirus.

After my father's passing, I found myself taking care of my family, consisting of my mother, sister Noor, and brother Abdulrahman. My mother, suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, faces health problems that further complicate their situation. But courage and determination drive Amira forward.
I worked as a teaching assistant at the university while pursuing a master's degree in data science, and also worked as a programmer in a company. My life was going smoothly until war came and destroyed everything.

My university, workplace, and home were completely destroyed, forcing them to flee south in search of a safe haven. Now, I and my family live in tents for displaced people in Deir al-Balah, where they suffer from water shortages and the spread of diseases, posing an additional challenge, especially for my immunocompromised mother.
This is a brief about our daily suffering.

Please help me, my mother, my sister and my brother to go out to treat my mother because she suffers from widespread diseases because her immunity is weak and help us to complete our educational journey, me and my brother

Doctors should snark at each other more, be a bit mean. Not for no reason, mind you. But if five doctors blow me off about symptoms and doctor number six FINALLY runs actual tests and gets a diagnosis, I think it should be Doctor Six's right to call up the other five and tell them they're lazy pieces of shit. That should be socially encouraged. Those first five doctors clearly can't listen to patients, but maybe another doctor might finally get to them.

i love how we say ‘these kids are on their ipads so much they can’t learn or read anymore. they can’t regulate emotions because of screentime, they are entitled. these kids are helpless, and can’t follow simple instructions. they are making teachers and parents miserable, our generation is doomed’
instead of ‘Multi Billion dollar profiteers Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Evan Spiegal, Bobby Murphy, Zhang Yiming, Vanguard Group Inc., Blackrock Group Inc., and Meta continue to fail in protecting children in a meaningful way from their products that have proven time and time again in scientific studies to cause debilitating cognitive harm and withdrawal symptoms in child and adolescent users. They have the technology and resources, but will choose not to as long as it remains legal because protecting children from their product means losing the revenue they generate. They are using children for profit despite the epidemic of its negative impact. They are raising our children to be socially inept consumers addicted to online escapism.’
we have this habit of being so nasty to the people impacted by the outcome of the problem rather than its direct cause cause.
we will find a way to be patient with you, because you deserve our patience. i’m sorry we noticed what happened before we noticed how
