so since 01 and anopheles (have mercy im dyslexic) have powers, are powers a normal occurrence in this world or is it more of a hidden thing

In The Commune's world it's rare but not unheard of!

Anopheles wears a scarf over his mandibles, red glasses over his eyes and coat over his wings when he's outside to not draw attention to himself, as it's very unique features to have that can get him recognised.

He only shows those features in the cult, where he feels accepted by his followers. He shows this to 267 when they first meet as he's set on recruiting him (also makes him look more friendly)

With 01 on the other hand, their powers are known by law enforcement, as that's how they kidnap people. The cult members are wanted by the police after all! So the police aren't surprised by 01 having powers. But you can see one of the officers looks at it like "woah" cos it is a rare thing! They don't really know how it works, only 01 and Anopheles fully know the extent.

The world is light urban fantasy, but powers are really not a focus in the comic. 01's abilities are more used to symbolise self destruction and escape (that'll be clear later) and Anopheles' are symbolic in that him being a cult leader/doctor that "cures the world" while being a creature that spreads disease. Anopheles is a hypocrite in every way, especially in his ideology.

Progress on the 01 character rig!

LIKE I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED LIKE YES THAT IS 01!! When I finally have everything set up for animation it's gonna look amazing!

Like they are alive and moving!!

Currently just texturing, still need to set up controllers and switches. Also need to implement face controls and the lot. Still need to model the inside of the mouth and other stuff.

A lot of work but so worth it!!!

Started texturing my 01 model! Still bald for now but now they have eyebrows. Joyous. It's so fucking cool to look at my model and go omg!!! That really is 01!!!

Eventually I'm gonna be able to animate with this model ARGHH exciting! I'm already planning what I wanna animate.
