Wifey and I are going to Disney next month, after AX, so I came up with a crazy idea to make us custom ears with our Disneybounding dresses.
The first is a set of patchwork mouse ears that match the outfit wifey is going to wear, that I made with the same fabric.
Mine are based on the dress Cinderella made for herself before her sisters tore it up. I made them because I wanted to have the sewing materials on it, since I’m a seamstress. I couldn’t resist.
I made these thanks to finding this YouTube tutorial I found online and I love how they turned out!!

Third design is now done! Five more to go!
Two (of eight) Pokemon embroidery pieces are done!
In my need to not doomscroll all day long, I’ve been embroidering designs for a skirt. The original art is designed by my friends at Fried Unicorn Studio and used with their permission. Plus, bonus sketch of what the finished dress should look like.

Hey so, I finished the Fish Danmei and now my bar for other series is surprisingly high.
You can read my review of the last two volumes of The Disabled Tyrant’s Beloved Pet Fish here!
Missed my review of the other two? No worries, I have them linked at the top of the review so you can catch up. It’s a really absurdly sweet romantic story that gave me such high expectations for the medium.

Hi Snow! Do you have any tips for sewing a wall scroll dress? Thanks!
The fabric of the wall scroll makes a difference. Some are thicker and more like a canvas, while others are light and more like cotton. So plan around that first, but you can always back it with another fabric if needed.
Treat the wall scroll like a patterned panel that’s made to draw the eye. Build the outfit around it for maximum effect! You can also cut out and appliqué the edges if there’s a specific design that fits, but remember that there’s no space in the picture for seams, so if you cut it in the center for a waist line, you will lose part of the picture.

I would love to see if you make one! Also reminds me that I should pull out my old Wallscrolls and make another 😄.
I hope that helps!

Title: The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter, Volume 1
Holy Maiden Summoning Improvement Plan
Story by: Yatsuki Wakatsu
Art by: Kikka Ohashi
Format: Light Novel
Age Range: 16+
Date Released: 2019 (Japan), 2024 (English translation)
Publisher: Yen On, an Imprint of Yen Press
Everyone knows the isekai formula by now. Some other world is in deep trouble, so they unearth an ancient ritual to summon a Holy Maiden, with the power to rescue their world. Of course she’s a bubbly high schooler from our world, and of course she’s hailed as the savior of everything. But this time the ritual goes a bit astray because this Holy Maiden ceremony also carried a normal salaryman to this mystical land and now he’s stuck without a desk and computer to fill his time.
What’s a corporate slave to do, but of course find a whole other job?

Title: Finder Series Volume 1-5 (old School)
Story and Art by: Ayano Yamane
Format: Manga
Age Range: Mature
Date Released: 2005 +
Publisher: Be Beautiful, June, SuBLime Manga
I told myself I wasn’t going to write a review for this series.
And honestly, I’ve told myself that a couple times. Now I love this little blog I’ve created and all the amazing stories it allows me to share with everyone, but sometimes I really just want to read something for myself and not think about how I’m going to phrase a review for it in the background. So when I pulled this old school series off our shelf, some of the volumes were still plastic wrapped and I was thinking I was just going to fall into some old school mature yaoi and enjoy myself and nothing else.
But obviously, I’m writing this review, so we see how well that went. Oh well ^__^
You can read the full review here and check out some of the other Old School titles I’ve reviewed.

I like drawing at con, it gives me and Wil something to do in the downtime behind the table. But also we run the risk of finishing a whole sketch without realizing we put the gauntlet on the wrong hand because I only occasionally glance down at my tiny phone screen for reference lol

An omegaverse romance with a very dominant female alpha and her adoring omega personal assistant. Quite the drama!
From the onset, Love is an Illusion! The Queen doesn’t really look like the type of story I’d be into reading or reviewing. The story of an overconfident business woman finally letting go of her female lovers to settle down for the quiet male assistant who’s been pining over her for years really doesn’t hold the thrill of the countless messy BL and GL lining my shelves. But that’s where the magic of the omegaverse comes in, because thanks to that sub-genre this story is anything but mundane and ordinary. In fact, that little switch up make it the perfect sort of mess for me - so much that I’m reading this without the original series and I really enjoyed it….

"If you use em dash in your works, it makes them look AI generated. No real human uses em dash."
Imaging thinking actual human writers are Not Real because they use... professional writing in their works.
Imagine thinking millions of people who have been using em dash way before AI becomes a thing are all robots.

Hmmm, so I might be writing some fic again. Wifey finally showed me Alien Stage and I loved all the tragic feels, so I’ve decided to play around with them with Sk8 characters. One chapter up and I have plans.
You can read it here. On AO3, of course.

On the way home from his job, Iku passes a specific bridge, which always has the same ghostly boy leaning against the railing….
Being haunted by a ghost has never really struck me as a scary proposition. Sure, the ability to walk through walls, foretell death and absolutely terrify the living has its merit, but if ghosts are based on actual people… there’s a high chance that a good number of them are just as mundane and normal as most people we meet in life, right? Not everyone is a master of the art of haunting and it would stand to reason that, out there somewhere, there are at least a handful of ghosts that just exist, right? Really nothing to be scared of, just slip past them as if they were normal people you wouldn't give another thought to on the subway…
You can read the rest of my review of this really sweet BL oneshot at my blog!
