Story time

So the other day I was at a park when I saw some little boys playing. They looked about 7 or 8 and they were kinda just rolling around, yelling and playing. Then I got close enough to hear exactly what they were saying. One boy was tackling the other and yelling "Homo! You're a homo!" The other kid got really offended and yelled "no you're a homo!" This went back and forth as I stood there horrified that no one was doing anything to stop it. We've come so far, yet we have so far to go. Everyday we face challenges like this. The oppression of the lgbtqia+ community is unnecessary and violent. We are valid. We are people just like you. We have every right to have our voices heard. Implementing the idea that we as a whole are wrong, our whole community a sin into your children's brains. It's disgusting.

When your doctor asks “so you identify as female, correct?” but your moms in the room and you aren’t out as trans yet so you just have to awkwardly look down and say “uh yeah I uh guess”

You are loved! Gender does not define you! You are more then what they labeled you when you were born! Stay strong, and keep fighting for you! You know who you are, and you are beautiful no matter what!
