but there is absolutely not a single reason why people should still be tagging their fics incorrectly in 2023.

no do not tag a bunch of extra characters for 'exposure', no do not tag a bunch of characters with 'x reader' because said characters are technically in the fic and they interact with the reader.

if the fic is focused on one character, say 'Simon Riley x reader', then that's it. don't go and tag Price x reader or Gaz x reader or Soap x reader. it's literally unnecessary and stupid.

same goes for the smut tag, if it's not a smut fic, do not tag it with a smut tag!

tag your fics correctly.
