My hottest take is that Alan Davies is actually good at QI. Him being framed as the foil to the host is definitely funny and creates a nice back and forth, but he really does win many episodes and often knows the answers to the questions.

Amandaland (2025)

Не буду скрывать я начал смотреть сериал Amandaland исключительно ради Майли Лок из There She Goes, которая сыграла тут второстепенную роль дочери главной героини. Тем более, что это не просто сериал, а спин-офф сериала Motherland. Была у меня, конечно, мыслишка быстро посмотреть предыдущий сериал, благо там всего три коротких сезона, но я до него так и не добрался. Но в общем-то незнание оригинального сериала ничуть не мешает просмотру, тем более что главная героиня Аманда со своими детьми (их в том сериале играли другие актеры) переехала в новое место. Помимо Майли Лок здесь играет и Люси Панч, которую я знаю по "Десятому королевству" и "33 несчастьям". Но, как ни странно, больше всего мне понравился персонаж Энн Флинн, эдакая неунывающая пышечка-кубышечка (которая, как я понял, была и в оригинальном сериале). Получилось смешно, и в вышедшем первом сезоне всего шесть серий по полчаса, которые пролетают незаметно. Майли Лок, как я уже писал, здесь играет дочь Аманды, Джорджи, и мне очень необычно видеть ее в роли нормальной девочки-подростка, а не умственно отсталой, почти не говорящей Рози из There She Goes. Правда, играть ей тут особо нечего - типичная девочка-подросток "с характером". А я на этой ноте, наверное, вскоре посмотрю и оригинальный сериал, пусть Майли Лок там и нет. Все-таки люблю я британские сериалы.
