okay what about trying to do makeup for caleb and so hes seated on the corner of his bed with eyes shut and you are doing his makeup,
then when you shift to other parts he opens his eyes and he looks st you with yk
THOSE EYES... intense and idk needy bcs its an intimate moment
Sunset Strokes
Pairing: Caleb x MC/reader Cw: Fluff that will rot your tooth. also a smidge of possessive!caleb A/n: This game has an evil heart wrenching hold in me I am in PAIN (good pain unfortunately)
Not proof read sorry guys ;-;
"Can't believe I actually got you to agree to this." You giggle softly as you stradle him. Holding a small eyeshadow brush you dab the sunset colored orange powder against his eyelids. A light chuckle leaves his lips as he smiles.
"Do you really think I can say no to you pipsqueak?" He places his warm hand against your waist softly as he sighs dramatically. "I can't let you experiment artistically on some other guy can I?" Laughing his dramatics off, you continue your ministrations on his eyes.
For a moment you stop dabbing as you look at him. Really look at him. A soft smile graces his face as his expression stays peaceful. Like an angel in soft sunlight he slowly opens his eyes. "Pips'?" You quickly look away as you try to come up with an excuse as you feel his eyes burning into yours.
"I was just- picking another color." Concern grows in your abdomen as he doesn't respond. Quickly looking back up, fearful of any kind of negative emotion on his face- instead- he's smiling. A soft kind smile, his eyes following.
Caleb had a way of making you feel like the only person in the world. As if everything else just fades away and you and him are floating in an endless space of affection. His eyes on you make you feel like you're in a trance. Observing his eyes you notice the small dashes of orange in his purple eyes. Chuckling, you realise it matches the makeup you just put on him.
"I could give Rafayel a run for his money..." Muttering quietly to yourself. You put the brush down and grab some lipstick instead, focussing on his soft lips. You work with full focus, gliding the soft wax along his lips expertly. In the corner of your eye you see him looking right at you. As if he can't be bothered with what you're doing to his face. Because in truth, we all know all he can think about is you.
Quite short but theres more to come!!

This might be angst but it's more for humor.
Arlecchino with a reader who's deathly afraid of spider to where they have developed a sort of spidysense for when a spider is within 12 feet of them no matter where it is.
Imagine Everytime Arlecchino is around their instincts scream spider so they maintain distance from her no matter what which leads to a misunderstanding of them hating her when in fact it's just that she reminds them of a spider.
Lmaoo this one is hilarious
Spidey senses
SpiderVibes!Arlecchino x SpiderSense!Reader

Drinking your coffee, you look out the window of the cafe. This day is like every other. The sun shines brightly through the streets of fontaine, and your drink tastes as bitter as ever. Suddenly, you feel a shiver go down your spine as you look for it. The spider.
You've always been able to feel if a spider is nearby. You're terrified of them. Call it a spidey sense. Your eyes zap around the lounge, looking for it. And finally, you find it. The little bug was hanging near the corner of the room. Although it's very far away, you still feel its earie presence, so you take your coffee and leave the cafe. You sigh as you walk out the door.
You recently started working as a caterer for the house of the hearth, which is not too strange. It's just that whenever you're in the building, your spidey sense starts tingling. Which you later found out was just a false alarm.
So you've found a solution; avoid the knave. Yeah, it's kind of rude, but overall, it's for the quality of your work.
But today is different. The orphanage owner herself called you to her office. Shivers flow down your spine as you walk up to her office door. The earie feeling of a million spiders creeping up on you settles as you open her door.
There she is in all her glory, she was already expecting you. Her gaze never left you the moment you walked into her office. "Come closer," she beckons. You take little steps closer to her desk. You dare not look her in the eyes as you do. "You wanted to talk?" She squints at you before responding. "Have I done something to offend you?" Oh shit. You quickly look up at her. She's still observing you from head to toe. "No, it's just...uh it's quite stupid actually -" she stands up from her chair and walks towards you. "Well, whatever I did, I want you to know that I am sorry."
Your face twists into shock and guilt as you try to reassure her. " No, no, you've done nothing to offend me! It's just -" she urges you to continue. And you do, you start rambling. "Well, it's just that I have, like, this really, and I mean really big fear of spiders, and I get the same kind of feeling around you.”
“Not that I'd ever compare you to a spider! I just -" You suddenly get snapped out of your rambling. She's...laughing? She looks back down at you as she recollects herself. A small cough makes its way through her throat.
She looks down at her desk, her face looking conflicted. A smirk graces her face as she suddenly stands, slowly walking toward you. “Ma’am…?” You take a step back out of habit. A slight twinge of fear makes its way through your core. She corners you against the wall, hovering over you with a hand against the wall.
“Do you feel it now?” Her sultry voice cascades through the air. You shiver at the sound. Squirming under her gaze, you nod. “Hm.” She makes a sound of acknowledgment before pulling back. Your body relaxes as she steps away, yet somehow you feel slightly disappointed. “That’s all. You can leave now.”

May I request a fluff fic about Dan Heng x reader where Dan Heng is treating reader's wounds because of how clumsy and reckless they are? Due to their clumsy nature, they would always get random scars just because they accidentally bumped into something or accidentally trip. Because of this behavior, Dan Heng would always be worried and would often scold reader to be more careful next time while treating their wounds, even though these incidents would still happen cause they can't control their clumsy nature.. and reader would often answer back to Dan Heng with a smile that it's okay and that they're already used to it. Not that Dan Heng would let this accidents to continue.. so Dan Heng would still continue to scold them lmao but also care for them by always treating their small/big wounds because he's just very worried for his friend (aka secret crush) Honestly, reader's clumsy nature reminds me of Bennet from genshin, you could say reader has bad luck.
Omg this is adorable!!! Honestly, im a bit clumsy myself, so this feels very close to home!
Lectures
Dan Heng x clumsy!reader
Usually, you'd just get a small bruise or a little mark, but now you've screwed up big time. It's not the wound you're worried about, but a certain archivist and fellow trailblazer.
You're very used to obtaining all sorts of bruises and marks because of your clumsy nature. Lately, however, one of your fellow trailblazers started paying more attention to it.
Always lecturing you about the dangers of your behavior and telling you to be more careful, but at least he always ends up helping you take care of the wounds. Today is no different.
The parlor car looks as comforting as ever, even though you and Dan Heng are the only ones inside. He's sitting in front of you, bandaging your hand, slightly frowning at it. "You have to be more careful. Wounds like these could get infected, and you'd get very sick or worse."
He's wearing a strained expression. "It's fine, Dan Heng. It's just a scratch." You flash a wide smile his way, even though he can't really see it considering the task at hand. He slowly looks up, meeting your eyes. "Are you sure you're okay?" You suddenly feel a spark of guilt. You never meant for him to get this worried. His gaze softens as he takes in your features.
"Promise me you'll be more careful?" His stern yet caring expression reaches your eyes. "Well, maybe you should come with me everywhere to make sure I don't get hurt," his face reddens as he looks shocked at your request. He quickly turns away to hide his flustered state.
"We both know that's impossible." You whine audibly as you pout your lips toward him. As he turns back, seeing your face, he immediately corrects himself. "-but I'll try my best to stay by your side as much as I can." The smile on your face returns as you quickly hug him. Thanking him for helping you bandage your wound.
As you quickly skip towards the passenger cabin, Dan Heng is stuck in his usual thoughts about you before realizing that his new task requires him to follow you.
Sorryy this is kind of short 😭

Has anyone imagine Arlecchino with a s/o who's emotionally detached, someone who's cold, indifferent, and rude to anyone they meet. They won't go out of their way to be mean but they make it clear that they don't like people. Then they're dense so anything and everything goes over their head that has to do with romantic interests.
Loosens up after they accept someone to be on friendly terms with them but is still inadvertently an ass, simply because that's their natural self. (The only thing that gets a positive response is Kitties)
I find it funny imagining someone trying to court them and they simply don't notice.
Arlecchino: *gives them flowers*
S/o: *staring at the flowers blankly* "who are these for exactly?"
Arlecchino: *this the 30th time she has tried to catch their attention* "You."
S/o: *Confused* "oh, thank you. I'm not a big fan of flowers but I guess I'll keep them"
-----------
Arlecchino(a few days later): "We're Dating."
S/o: "what?"
Arlecchino: *dragging them to a restaurant by the back of their shirt* "we're dating." *She ran out of patience and took the initiative to make her actions clear*
S/o: "do I have a choice?"
Arlecchino: "No."
S/o: "ok...?"
Arlecchino: "Good"
Omg this is adorable hold on lemme cook
Im sorry this is so late!!!
Esteemed Guest
Arlecchino x detached!GN!reader
Synopsis: reader works at a restaurant where arlecchino takes an interest in them.
It was a peaceful day at the restaurant. Well, more peaceful for the customers than for you. You're known at your job and around town for being quite indifferent to everyone. You can't count how many times you've been told to smile more. It's exhausting.
You go through your usual routine of taking orders, serving food and answering questions about allergens when your manager calls you aside for a second. "Hey, there's a special guest coming in a few minutes. Could you take out the trash before they arrive?"
You nod your head yes as you walk to the back of the restaurant, having picked up the plastic bags on your way. You set them down as you look around at the street. A cute kitten catches your attention as it's wandering towards the trash bags. You run inside looking for some spare tuna from one of the dishes. You sneak out of the kitchen, tuna in hand, to feed the kitten.
Arlecchino has never been a slacker. Better yet, she is the exact opposite. Structured and cautious. That's why she's never late to anything. Just like right now, she's a few minutes early. As she walks around the restaurant, looking at the building from all possible angles, she sees you. Crouched down, holding some fish out towards a small cat. The genuine smile on your face sparks a slight flame in her heart. She finds the sight quite endearing. As she sees you going back inside, she walks back to the front of the restaurant, greeting the owner.
You see a black and white haired figure being led to the VIP area. You catch her gaze as she sends you a slight smirk. How strange. You just stare at her in confusion as she walks by.
Not even 5 minutes after your cowerker was supposed to serve them, your manager calls out to you. "Our esteemed guest has asked for you to serve them during their meal." Your brows furrow as you look at him, confused. "Why me?" Your lifeless tone as indifferent as ever. "I'll give you a bonus?" You sigh as you start walking to the VIP lounge.
The dim lighting and gold ornate decorations are starting to give you a headache. You enter the room, looking the black and white-haired woman directly in the eyes. Usually, people tend to be scared of Arlecchino off the bat. It might be because of her eyes or her demeanor. But you're not. Your blank face stares at her as you hand her the menu, muttering a quiet 'here'. She looks intrigued as she opens the menu, reading through the options quite quickly.
"Are you on the menu?" She winks. "Uh, no, not really. There's not many restaurants here or anywhere that condone cannibalism?" Your face is painted with a semi concerned experssion at her taboo request. She giggles, finding your obliviousness quite entertaining. "I'll have a bourbon. No, actually make that two." You furrow your brows at her again. "Is someone else joining your table?" She nods, her smirk still very present. You walk back to the bar, giving the order to the bartender. She quickly finishes pouring the drink as you walk back to the client.
You set the glasses down as you realize the clients' guest is still not here. "When is your guest going to arrive? The drinks will get warm if you wait too long." You state. "Oh don't worry dear, she has just arrived." She's gazing at you like a predator would their pray.
"I don't see anyone -" you say as you look towards the entrance. Before you can finish your sentence, you get pulled down onto the couch seat next to the woman. She sets the bourbon glass in front of you as she throws back hers. "It's against restaurant policy to drink on the job." You say, looking her straight in the eye. Unbothered by your cold behavior, she throws an arm around your shoulder, pulling you closer.
She sighs as she contemplates your words. "How about this then, do you work tomorrow?" Her eyes start wandering as she waits for you to answer the question. "No, it's my off day." A sly smirk appears on her face at the words. She gets closer to your face as she observes your lips. Looking down at you, she says, "You and me, dinner tomorrow, here." Confusion settles on your face at the suggestion. "Why would I come in on my off day?" She laughs softly at your confusion. Realizing that you misunderstood her. "No, I meant as my date."
You're confused as to why she would invite you, a mere server, to be her dinner guest. Nonetheless, you don't have anything to do tomorrow so you might as well see where the dinner leads you. "Alright, well, I can't really pay. My wage isn't that big." She looks at you amused. "Don't you worry about that, Doll."
The next few days have been quite exciting compared to your monotone life. Although you're still as cold as ever, you're starting to warm up to Arlecchino.
You often wake up to flowers in your mailbox and deliveries of expensive goods at your door. You appreciate her gifts but you just don't understand why Arlecchino is doing all of this. Until now.
"We're dating." What? The candles on the table are lit. Your living room's currebt dim lighting sending shivers up your spine. The fumes of the spaghetti lay in front of you, filling your senses as you try to make sense of what's happening. You look up at her, confused as always. "I said what I said. Any objections?" You're flustered, but you can't seem to deny how enticing that relationship status sounds to you. Especially because it's with Arlecchino. She stands up from the table, swiftly moving to you as she holds your chin, tilting it up. "You're mine." She puts her lips on yours, "forever."
Wow that took me a while but i did it!!!

Orange glow
Dainsleif x adventurer!fem!reader
Synopsis: Dainsleif and reader meet again, confronting each other, but things take a turn for the worst.
Being in the adventurers guild has turned your life upside down. You went from helping out in your fathers jewelry shop to hunting hillichurls and abyss mages. And today, you're doing just that.
You run towards the hillichurl camp at full speed, blade slashing against their boney masks as they fall to the ground one by one. Strangely, the numbers don't seem to dwindle. It's as if the more you kill, the more there are. Something blue catches your eyes, as you turn to your left, curious to find out what it is, you hear an urgent "Watch out!"
Steel glides past your gaze as you close your eyes, bracing for impact. But it never came. You open your eyes as you see a stranger in front of you. His blonde hair flowing in the wind, his dark clothes shifting. You quickly back away, wary of the stranger. He quickly turns around at the noise of your footsteps. "I just came to help, I don't want to hurt you." His gaze portrays that of a human looking at a wounded animal.
Before you can respond, the hillichurls start getting up again. The undead creatures quickly force the blonde back into battle. His sword stabbed, but it had no use. They keep coming back. Yet he keeps fighting, stabbing, and killing.
You, however, realize there's no use in still fighting. Better to let the patrol guards take care of this. Although you feel guilty for leaving the stranger to fend for himself, you don't know what he would've done if he did succeed in killing them. You quickly run off, back to your home.
Since then, you keep seeing him everywhere. Although he's not actually around that often, you can never seem to forget those blonde locks and ocean blue eyes.
Your blade stabs at the hillichurls as you shake yourself from your thoughts. It's been weeks since you last saw him, yet you can't stop thinking of him. Maybe it's because of the guilt?
Something strange suddenly occurs, and the hillichurls run away. As you're trying to figure out what's happening, you feel a strong force collide with the back of your skull. You fall to the ground as your head is pounding. Clutching the grass bellow you, you raise your head, looking at the perpetrator. It's a fatui opperative. Shit.
You try to fight back as your head is pounding. Your vision slowly fills with black spots as you try to block the opperatives' attacks. Suddenly, you don't feel the cuts nor the bruises. Just a peaceful bliss.
You're ripped out of your sanctuary as you sit up. The makeshift bed below you creaks at the movement. "You're awake." The air smells of yasmine tea. You try to find the voice's source as you look around horrified. Where are you? What happened? You try to remember what brought you here. You remember the hillichurls and the fatui opperative, but everything goes blank after that.
A wooden plateau is placed onto your lap, on it stands a tea cup. The yasmine fills your nostrils, giving you a calm feeling. You snap out of your daze as you look to your left. It's the blonde stranger. "Y-you'" almost tilting the tea cup, you crawl backward. Away from the man. The movement causes your leg to ache as you look down at it. It's bandaged.
"Easy, you don't want to spill the tea." He looks almost annoyed at your antics. "Where am I?! Why am I here?! And why are you here with me?!" The questions blurt out of your mouth as you start freaking out again. "You were getting attacked, I saved you, and brought you to my home." He states. "I can't believe the adventurers guild would hire someone so incompetent." You scoff at his remark. "Well, atleast I know how to pick my battles. This one just caught me by suprise."
His gaze hardens as he answers quickly. "Just like how you left me with those hilichurls last time?" A pang of guilt hits you as you look in his eyes. A sigh escapes his lips as he nudges you towards the tea cup. "You should drink the tea. It has healing properties." You slowly reach for the tea cup. Holding it up to your nose as you smell the liquid.
"How do I know you didn't poison it?" He looks at you questioningly. "Why would I go through all this effort to save you, just to poison you in the end?" You shrug defensively. "I don't know what kind of things you're into."
He chuckles, surprised at your retort. "Well, if you want to find out, I'll be here." He stands up as he walks back to his little desk in the corner. You take your time to look around the room. The walls are made of stone. You're in a cave. A portable radiator is placed right in front of your bed. It glows orange in the dimly lit room. You take a sip of the tea, and it tastes delicious. You can almost feel your wounds getting healed. You try to get up from the bed, whincing at the ache in your leg. Before you can get off of it, he walks over to you.
"I'd recommend waiting a bit before trying to get up," he says gently. "What's your name?" The question catches him off guard. "What?" You repeat your question. "It's Dainsleif." You've never heard a name like that before. You tell him yours. "Oh, I know what your name is. I asked around." What? Why? "I wanted to know more about you." He says, answering your question almost telepathically.
Deciding you're too unpredictable to leave by yourself, he pulls a stool from under his desk and sets it down next to you. "Hey, Dainsleif?" His head perks up as he's snapped out of his thoughts. He makes a slight hm sound as if to acknowledge you and insist you continue speaking. "I'm sorry for leaving you with those hillichurls. I don't know how im supposed to thank you, considering you've saved me twice now. Even after I abandoned you."
His brows furrow at your statement. He didn't expect you to apologize. "There's no need to apologize. You did not know me after all." He brushes the matter aside as he continues speaking. "You know... You're not as bad as I thought you were." You giggle. "Is that supposed to be a compliment?" He gives you a gentle smile. "I sure hope you take it as one." His smile fades away as he looks down at your injured leg. "I ran out of bandages. Do you happen to have some in your bag? You're an adventurer, after all."
You nod, but you quickly realize there's something else in there. Something you definitely can't let him see. "Wait!" You yell out in urgency as you see him holding it in his hand. "Why do you have this," his eyes darken as his sentence continues, distrust gleaming in his gaze. "I- It's not what you think -" you mutter, trying to organize your words so you can explain your situation.
The fatui insignia reflects the radiators' orange light, as he observes it. "You're trying to stop me from finding out what happened to khaenri'ah right? Is that it? You peaked my interest on purpose to distract me from my main goal. How could I be so foolish as to not realize it sooner." He speaks in a stern voice, yet his face betrayes all of his emotions. The slight agony in his features becomes very apparent as he strides towards you. "Wait, Dainsleif, it's not what you think! Hear me out!"
He grabs your chin forcefully as he gets close to your face. "I am going to leave. When I come back, I want you gone. If you are not gone, then I will make you leave by force. And I can promise you now that I will not be gentle," he commands with a booming voice. You've never seen him like this. Not even when you guys hated each other.
He lets go of you as he walks to the cave entrance, leaving you alone. Your only companion is the orange glow of the radiator, the only warmth you feel at this moment.
Omg this took me a little while to finish haha

Omg wtf? That is such an amazing prompt i love you literally kiss me?
Jealousy's Delight
jealous!arlecchino x baker!fem!reader
Synopsis: Someone's starting to get a little too fond of our lovely baker, and Arlecchino seems to have a problem with that.
You just woke up, and your hair's a mess as you saunter downstairs to your bakery. It's times like these where you really appreciate living right above it. As you finish prepping all the boxes for Arle to carry, you set up your kitchen like normal, preparing for another day of sitting idly behind your store counter waiting for clients to order.
Although your customer frequencies and ratings have increased since closing a contract with the house of the hearth, it's a blessing and a curse. Not many people want to get involved with the fatui, but some people get curious and actually end up liking the sweets.
Normally, Arle tends to be a bit early when picking up the boxes, leaving right when your bakery opens, but today, it seems she's a bit delayed. Nevertheless, you set the baby pink boxes aside as you flip the open hanging on your glass door towards the open world.
After half an hour, the bakery is scarcely filled with a few people. Margret, sitting in the corner enjoying her croissant with a cup of tea and a surprisingly hard crossword puzzle. Judonte, another local, sitting in one of the couches enjoying his coff-
"..hello?" You hear an energetic voice tear you out of your thoughts.
"O-oh hello! Sorry, it's still morning, haha. What can I get ya?" You quickly recover from your slacking. Wouldn't want the new customer to be on your ass for not working hard enough. Weirdly enough, you don't recognize this one. His dark blue hair falls slightly over his forhead as his bright green eyes stare straight into your soul. "Wait, I haven't seen you before. Are you new in town?"
He looks confused yet pleased at your question. "Yes actually, I just moved here from Liyue. It's quite a contrast between here and there." He grins at you before looking behind you at the menu.
"Hmm, let me see, you have quite a lot of options. Are you the only one working today?" You look at him, slightly confused. "Oh no, I'm the only one that works here. I'm the bakeries owner." His face is painted with a surprised look as he slips back into his ever-confident demeanor.
"Wow, you set this place up all by yourself? You must be quite the talented lady." He smirks as he takes a swift look at the show-pasteries before turning back to you. "I must say, this croissant looks really delicious, but that's not the only sweet treat in here." He winks as he delivers his line almost theatrically, straight out of romeo and juliette.
"Well yeah its a bakery, we have more than just a singular tasty snack, haha." That pick-up line flew right past your head straight into his ego, oh my.
"Haha, I guess you're right. Maybe we could get coffee sometime?-"
"I'm afraid she won't have the time." The white and black haired woman says while gripping the mans shoulder. Tightly.
"And who are you to decide that for her?" The man looks into her eyes, defiantly. Not knowing that he just signed his death sentence. Everyone present is looking at him now.
Yet you are as oblivious as ever.
"Oh good morning, Arle! Let me get the boxes. Hold on." You excuse yourself as you leave them for a couple of minutes. When you come back, however, the previously defiant young man has turned into a scared shell of himself with the social potency of a wet napkin. You don't know what Arle said to him. And maybe you don't want to find out.
He quickly fumbles out apologies to you and Arle as he runs off.
"Huh, why'd he leave? I thought he was gonna order?" She looks at you with a dangerous glint in her eyes. "Some people are just a bit eccentric."
Arle doesn't mind a little competition, but ones as pathetic as this one shouldn't even get the chance.
But Arlecchino is also a fair woman. So, for driving away a customer, she's given you a hefty tip for today's delivery. It's not like she wasn't planning on doing that already.
Its kind of short so im sorry about that but i really liked writing this one! Again thank you so much for the request!

Final Goodbye
Cheating!Arlecchino x Wife!fem!reader
This is based on a dream I had!

Synopsis: Arlecchino comes home after midnight with a lipstick stain on her collar.
Another late night, and Arlecchino hasn't come home yet. You were starting to have unwanted doubts about her having someone else while waiting for her.
The dinner you made has already gone cold. She could've at least notified you about being late.
It was past midnight, you heard the sound of a door unlocking. It's Arlecchino, her face as stern as usual, her hair was oddly messy and.. was that a lipstick stain on her collar?
"I'm home." She said before walking in with a cold expression.
You look up from the cold food towards her. You see the lipstick stain on her collar, but it doesn't suprise you. You look sadly into her eyes as you ask, "Do you love me?"
Her shoulders tensed for a moment, her stoic demeanor returned.
"Don't ask pointless questions like that."
Arlecchino took off her jacket, hanging it on the coat rack before going to the dining table. She's avoiding your gaze on purpose.
You ignore her cruel words. "Please look at me, Arle. Do you love me?"
Arlecchino's eye narrowed, finally looking at you with a deadpan expression.
"Why are you asking me that all of a sudden? Of course I do, I did marry you after all."
She replied with an oddly cold tone.
"Have you noticed the state you're in right now?"
"My state?"
She said, looking at you with a slightly annoyed look. She didn't quite understand what you're getting at. To her, she looked like she always did after work.
"Your collar."
Arlecchino's hand unconsciously goes to her collar, a surprised look on her face when she notices what you meant.
"Ah."
Instead of trying to find a way to come up with an excuse, her face solidifies as she says,
"Is that it? You're getting riled up because of a simple lipstick stain?"
"It's not the stain im upset at? It's whatever you were doing that caused you to get it." You say, tears starting to form.
Her face darkened, clearly displeased at the implications in your words.
"That I was doing? There's nothing 'I was doing'. I was just at work, if that's what you're thinking."
Arlecchino lied through her teeth as always, hiding her guilt with her cold expression.
"Then please, Arle. Tell me how you magically got a lipstick stain on your collar because of working. Was there an occupation change im not aware of?" The words come out of your mouth as you grit your teeth.
Her lips pressed into a thin line, clearly not expecting your persistent questioning today.
Arlecchino tried to come up with a believable excuse, but her mind went blank. She looked at you in an almost silent challenge.
"Maybe, I spilled some of my tea on my collar, you don't know."
You rub your forehead at the irredeemable explanation your wife just gave you. "Please, tell me who it was."
Her eye twitched, clearly caught off guard by your blunt question. She averted her gaze, refusing to answer.
"There's nobody, I'm telling you, nobody, so just let this go."
"I will not. Im tired of being a second choice. I am your WIFE. You married ME. Am I not giving you enough love? To the point where you run into someone elses arms?"
"You-"
Her eye narrowed, feeling irritated by what she perceived as an unfair accusation.
"Run into someone else's arms? You're being ridiculous. Just because of a small, insignificant stain you're assuming I'm cheating on you?"
"Yes! What else would it be? How else would that get there? If it wasn't true, you'd be able to give me a proper explanation!"
She fell silent at your words, her eyes narrowing to a glare.
"And what if it is true?"
Arlecchino's words were cold and blunt, almost as if she's challenging you.
You're shocked at what she says. Tears spill from your eyes as you stare blankly at the wall.
Seeing your expression, Arlecchino felt a pang of guilt in her chest, but she tried to bury it with her cold mask.
"Wipe your tears. There's no need to be dramatic and cry."
She said in a cold, almost sarcastic tone. Arlecchino knew she was treating you cruelly, but she couldn't bring herself to stop.
You throw the plates off the table against the wall, making them shatter. "You don't deserve the food I make you, nor the affection I hold for you."
Her eyes widened a little at the sound, her mouth pressed in a thin line.
"Careful now, you don't want to act like a child."
Arlecchino's expression was dark, her stare cold and challenging, she's not someone to be pushed around with threats.
"Why would you do this to me? It's clear you don't love me enough to stay with me? Am I not worthy of your love? Not as worth it as this other woman?"
Her eyes darkened, a bitter feeling rising in her chest at your words. She wanted to deny it, to say that your doubts were unfounded.
"You, stop acting like I'm the only one in the wrong. It's not like you didn't make me unhappy either. There's a lot to be desired from your end too."
"That is not an excuse to run off with someone else. But pray tell, what do you think I did that is so bad it drove you off to someone else?"
"You're so naive and clingy, not to mention you barely help around the house. You're basically a freeloader. I'm also not too happy with your behavior around the children, either."
Arlecchino went on and on with her complaints while listing everything that she thought you did wrong. Some of them didn't even make sense, mostly just an excuse to avoid talking about the affair.
"Why did you marry me, if you're just gonna end up being with someone else behind my back."
"Do you think I know?"
Arlecchino suddenly snapped, her temper flaring. She hated to be pushed into a corner, especially by someone who she's supposed to love.
"Who knows why I ended up marrying you in the first place when there's plenty of other fishes in the sea? Are you so delusional that you think you're special to me?"
"Clearly, I am. No, I was. Not anymore."
Something in her snapped as your words struck a nerve.
"I wish I knew that before I married you."
Arlecchino started to advance towards you with a predatory step, a dangerous look in her red eyes.
"You're too clingy, too naive, too helpless. If you ask me, you're more of a burden, not quite someone I'd call special."
You can't even be mad anymore. The sadness and desperation take over as the tears start flowing. "I hate you. Arle." I start walking towards the front door, clutching the necklace she gave you around your neck.
Arlecchino's eyes were wide, not expecting that you're trying to just walk away like this. She instinctively reached out a hand towards you but stopped herself last minute.
"Wait, you're not seriously leaving, are you? Just like that?"
She's supposed to feel nothing, she shouldn't care about how you're just trying to leave her after being hurt by her infidelity, and yet the sight of you walking away is bringing up something in her chest, something that felt a lot like fear.
"What else am I supposed to do, Arlecchino? Clearly, 'in sickness and till death' doesn't mean anything to you. You don't love me. I do, but you don't. I don't wanna live that way."
Something in her twitched angrily as your words hit her painfully in the chest. She could practically feel her heart clenching.
'Damn it.' Arlecchino thought to herself. You're not supposed to affect her like this.
"You..."
She gritted her teeth in frustration, her face dark. Her fist clenched and unclenched as if restraining herself from doing something she'll end up regretting.
You open the door, clutching the handle as you look at her one more time.
Her heart clenched at your pleading look, her own expression was almost as desperate as yours as she takes a step forward. Before Arlecchino could stop herself, she called out to you.
“D-don’t leave, you can’t just-“
She could already feel the words getting stuck in her throat. She didn’t want you to go.
"Yes I can, and I will. Don't act like you didn't bring this upon yourself. But before I go, I just really want to know who it was. Who was the one that stole your heart from me?"
Arlecchino’s jaw clenches firmly, her voice strained as if suppressing her emotions.
“It’s no one, really.”
She tried to maintain her cold facade, but there was a hint of desperation in her words, as if trying to convince herself as well. Arlecchino knew if she answered your question, then there would be no hope of fixing this, but still, she can’t find enough heart to bring herself to do it.
"Fine, don't answer my question. Goodbye peruere." You say as you walk out the door.
"W-wait!"
Arlecchino instinctively yelled out to you as you closed the door. It was as if something in her snapped when she realised you were actually leaving for good this time.
"Damn it, come back!"
She didn't even care that her voice was growing desperate. Arlecchino didn't want you to actually go and leave.
You keep walking towards the bus stop, hearing arlecchino's desperate yells from behind.
She can see your figure getting further away.
Her heart was in complete turmoil. Arlecchino had never felt this way before, so helpless.
She couldn’t think straight, and her body was moving on its own.
“Damn it. Damn it!”
Arlecchino quickly put her jacket back on and ran out the door. She was going to chase after you.
I start walking faster as I yell, "What are you planning to do peruere? Drag me back into the house? Force me to stay with you?"
"Y-Yes!"
She yelled back at you, her tone was desperate and frustrated. Arlecchino was catching up to you quickly with her usual stride.
"Damn it, you're infuriating! I'll drag you back to the home and lock you there if I have to! I'm not letting you go so easily!"
"No, you're not. What would be the point? You love someone else. And if that love is grand enough to leave me alone and neglected, then you should be with that person."
"Stop it! Shut up! Just shut up! You don't know anything!"
As she caught up to you, Arlecchino grabbed your hand tightly, not letting you go further. Despite her firm grip, you can feel her hands trembling.
You turn around to face her. "Then tell me, why? Why do this? Why go through with it if you knew you wouldn't like the consequences?"
Her eyes were burning with desperation.
"Because.. Because-"
Arlecchino stumbled over her words, unable to properly articulate her thoughts. Her mind was a mess.
She took a deep breath, struggling to find something to say.
"Damn it, why is it so hard for me to say it?"
"What is it?!"
Her eyes closed tightly as if in pain, her hand gripping yours even tighter. She felt almost desperate, as if her heart was about to burst open.
"Because... I-”
She suddenly opened her mouth, forcing her own words out from her throat.
"I still love you!”
Arlecchino's voice came out strained, as if even speaking the words out was painful.
You sigh, looking at her with your eyes narrowed. A cold look displayed on your face. "Clearly not enough."
Her eyes closed once more, as if shutting out your cold expression.
Arlecchino could feel a pang of pain in her chest when you said that.
"B-but I...I still do," she insisted with a slightly pleading tone, trying to force herself back to her cold, stoic demeanor.
"You're being selfish."
"I'm... being selfish?"
Arlecchino's eyes widened at the unexpected words.
In a way, she supposed it was true. She loved you but still betrayed you. She doesn’t want you to leave, but can’t help but cheat on you. She’s selfish, and yet she can’t lose you, nor can she let go of her lover who gave her the attention you can’t.
Arlecchino stood still, looking pained and frustrated.
"I deserve better. You deserve your lover. We do not fit." I turn around as I continue walking to the bus stop. You lack in strength compared to Arle, so you start furiously trying to release your hand from hers. Failing.
Her eyes widened as you struggled to get away. Arlecchino's grip on your hand only tightened, refusing to let you walk away. She's more than determined to get you back, even if it means being selfish in the process.
"Stop trying to get away! You're not going anywhere!"
Her voice was firm, but beneath, there's fear.
"Let me go! I don't want to stay with you! If you love me so much, then you should be able to let me go!"
"No! I can't! I won't!"
Arlecchino practically yelled back. Deep down, she knew you were right. She was doing the selfish thing by continuing to force you to stay with her. But the very possibility of losing you is enough to make her go into full-on panic mode.
"Like hell I'll ever let you go!"
"Are you expecting to hold me like this till morning? The neighbors are gonna see."
Arlecchino's expression darkened, not caring about anyone who might see.
"So what if they do? I doubt they'll gossip. They know I'm a fatui harbinger, after all."
She said, her grip on you showing no signs of letting up.
If anything, she's holding you even tighter, her desperate expression growing even more intense.
You start kicking and hitting her out of desperation.
"Hng!"
She grunted as you continued to fight back. Your continued struggle was definitely making it harder for her to control the situation.
"You... Damn it! Just stop!"
She grabbed both of your wrists and trapped them behind your back. The two of you are practically pressed together now, her arm restraining you with a tight hold.
"Stop struggling. Just listen to me!"
"What! What is it that you want to say?! What do you think you can say that will save our marriage?!"
Her mind was a mess, and yet there was one thing she knew for sure that she wanted to say.
"Damn you... I still love you, damn it! That's why... That's why you can't go!"
She practically spat out, her voice strained and harsh. Deep down, Arlecchino hated how desperate she sounds right now, but she no longer cares.
"Well I don't!"
"Bullshit! I know you do!"
Arlecchino's voice was growing louder and more frustrated now. Her grip on you tightens, almost squeezing you against her chest.
"Don't lie to me! I know full well you still love me, even if you refuse to admit it. You never would've married me otherwise!"
"I did, but not anymore!"
"What??"
She couldn't believe the words that came out of your mouth. Arlecchino's eyes widened as if not wanting to accept that you no longer loved her.
"You're lying. You're lying! You can't possibly have stopped loving me right now just because of a stupid affair."
"You're right. I do still love you, and I probably will forever. But I also know that being with you is not worth the pain." You're sobbing.
A pang of guilt shot through her at your words.
"But..."
Arlecchino found herself speechless. The realization of the damage she'd done was finally getting to her. You're absolutely right. Her foolish selfishness was ruining your relationship.
"Damn it!”
She cursed, her grip on your wrists loosening a little as the guilt and regret finally hit her.
"Leave me, Arle." You rip your hands from her grip as you put them on her cheeks. "Maybe in another life we were meant to be, but in this one, you chose yourself over me."
Arlecchino's breaths hitched. She could see the sincerity in your eyes, the finality of your statement.
In just a few seconds, her desperate demeanor changed into something more vulnerable. Her eyes closed, leaning her head against your hand.
"I... I'm sorry."
It was almost a whisper, so quiet that you could barely hear it.
A tear rolls down your cheek at the words. "Thank you," you say as the bus arrives.
Arlecchino's eyes widened as the first tear fell from her face. Her heart constricted painfully at the sight. Her mouth opened as if wanting to say something, but nothing came out. The air suddenly felt so heavy.
Her hand reached out to you as if trying to stop you, but it froze in the air not long after. The realization hit her like a train. She lost you forever.
She stood still, watching you enter the bus as her hand trembled.
Wow i cooked. 💥

Pastry Present pt.2
Tasty Treat pt.1
Arlecchino x fem!baker!reader
Part 2 is heree!!! Im writing this one in broad daylight, so if i fuck up structure wise then you have the right to berate me :)
Request/Ask here
Life has been going pretty smoothly lately! Since you started working for the house of the hearth, your wallet has increasingly grown in size. Now that you have some extra mora, you get to spend it on things you want rather than only on things you need. Yet somehow, even when something is to be expensive, you always end up getting it for free, or the mora just somehow ends up in your pocket. You like to think the archons are watching over you that day, but little do you know it's a certain fatui harbinger pulling the strings.
Your relationship with the orphanage owner has increased, too. She invites you for tea in her office at times and always helps you out at your bakery whenever you need it. Yet whenever she does come over, she tends to linger, unbeknownst to you.
It's another beautiful morning as you make your way to the orphanage, box in hand, head held high, and seemingly beeming with happiness. You enter the orphanage, not needing anyone to open the door for you since you've received a key from Arlecchino. You walk to the kitchen, seeing Arlecchino setting up plates and cups. "Good morning, baker." Her sultry voice carries over to the doorframe you're standing in. "Good morning, Arlecchino!" You beam brightly as you skip to the preperation area. Arlecchino has done you a favor by carrying almost all of the boxes, leaving you to carry just one. "I carried all the boxes. Where did that one come from?" She leans against the kitchen counter after finishing setting up the plates and cups. "Oh well it's Timmy's birthday so I thought I'd make him something special," you open the box towards her so she'll see the little heart-shaped cinnamon roll.
"We have a strict meal plan here. We can't just indulge the children whenever we please." Her voice grows stern as she tenses up. Your smile falters, but you quickly recover. "I understand that, but a little treat now and then won't do any harm, right? Besides, it's a special day!" Arlecchino's brows furrow as she walks towards you, looking down at you. "Rules are rules. Consistency is important for these children," her demeanor reminds you of what everyone says about her.
You sigh, your frustration evident. "Arlecchino, I know you care about the kids, but I really think something like this is not gonna disrupt anything. Don't you think they deserve a bit of joy?" You plead with her.
Arle grasps your wrist as she pulls you closer, her frame towering over yours and her face nearing yours. Her eyes narrow as she looks at you. "You think I don't know what's best for them? I've raised and trained these children for years. Discipline and routine are what they need. Not some curdled snack." You look down at the box trying to figure out what she means. The cinnamon roll broke apart on your way to the orphanage. You put quite a lot of effort into making it, seeing it broken like this fills you with disappointment and sadness.
You see no point in arguing with her anymore since there's nothing to gift anyway. "You're right. I shouldn't have questioned your rules. My apologies." Tears fill your eyes as you start walking towards the entrance. "Wait, I didn't mean -" before she can finish the sentence, you've already stepped out of the building.
You're surprised when you get a letter in the mail. You open the envelope seeing a folded pieace of paper and... a picture? You take it out of the envelope, revealing timmy sitting in front of a plate of what looks like your frumbled cinnamon roll put together by force. Although it doesn't look like the most appetizing snack, timmy looks extremely excited in the picture. In the corner, you see a black thumb. You take the letter out of the envelope, surprised Arle did all of this for you.
The letter reads:
Dear,
I am sorry for my behavior today, I shouldn't have been so harsh on you. You are merely trying your best to make the children happy, and I do not want to seem ungrateful of that. I did not mean to upset you with how I spoke about your pastery. Your baking skills are immaculate, and I want to preface that I do not undermine it. I want to let you know that you may give the children treats from time to time, just not too much.
If you have the time this evening, I'd like to have some tea with you in my office.
Your employer friend
Arlecchino
Your mood lifts in a flash. You're thankful for such a wonderful friend. You pick up the picture as you stand, walking towards your fridge. Using a magnet, you stick the picture to the fridge and write the date on its white border.
Part 3 coming soon!!!
Im literally screaming at the lack of romance in this one what the fuck
I PROMISE ILL MAKE THE NEXT ONE REALLY GOOD!!

Fuckk i love women omg
Second mini-fic ever how exciting!!
Please request stuff here!! It's hard to come up with prompts ;-;
I wrote this at 3 am so excuse the lack of structure
You start your usual routine of setting everything up for the day, although today is a bit special. Your bakery doesn't have many customers, considering the place it's in is quite remote. A peaceful forrest that's still in fontaine borders yet far away from any other buildings or people.
You chose this place because you appreciate the beauty and peace that nature brings you. The birds whisteling in the morning, the foxes chittering, the sound of tree leaves rustling. Yet that peace comes with quite a heft price. Loneliness. Besides the old lady that lives in a small village near the forrest, you don't get much human interaction. Even though your bakery is quite big and fits lots of people, you don't really have a lot of customers to share it with.
A week ago, you received a business offer from the house of the hearth. Since the bakery near the orphanage closed down, they don't have any establishments providing them things like breakfast treats and pastries. That's why they're employing you. The contract has you preparing and delivering the food to the hearth.
Even though this seemed like quite a lot of work, you accepted. I mean, how could you not? You get to make pasteries for adorable kids, making them smile, AND you get paid? This is a dream come true. After years of sulking alone in the damp forest serving a customer here and there, you get the privilege of a constant source of profit.
After hours of baking, your tired eyes look at the required amount of food stated in the order, and you realize that this is only enough for the kids. How strange that the boss herself did not order anything. Does she eat breakfast somewhere else? Nevertheless, you decide to make something anyway.
After packing up the orders, you start walking towards the orphanage, barely holding on to the several boxes stacked on top of eachother.
As you arrive, you set the boxes down and ring the orphanage's doorbell. An earie ring echoes from inside.
A tall woman opens the door. Her snow white hair with the occasional black streak looks down at you from the doorframe. Her brows furrow slightly at the sight of you, and the boxes.
"Are you alone?" She asks, you're confused, to say the least. "...yes?" You mutter. "How come you've managed to carry all those boxes on your lonesome?" Her sultry voice sounds out as she crosses her arms in amusement, holding back a grin. Before you can answer, you hear who you assume are the kids, walking slowly towards the persumed dining room.
"I'll help you with these," Arlecchino says curtly as she picks up a few boxes to bring to the kitchen. You pick up the last remaining boxes as you tail behind her.
As you and Arlecchino start unpacking and putting the treats on plates, you can't help but think of how different you expected Arlecchino to be. Clearly, her reputation precedes her. All the while your mind is drifting off to several different subjects, you don't notice the red-crossed eyes staring your way.
After the children finish eating, you stay a while, wanting to hear their opinion on the treats. As you basically survey them, you take the time to get to know some of them. Playing games with them and answering their unending questions.
As you realise you've overstayed your welcome, you say goodbye to the kids and quickly leave the orphanage. On your way back, you reach your hand into your purse, trying to take out your cherry flavored gum. You eventually find it but with it a little pink box brushes your hand. The cookie, you forgot to give it to Arlecchino.
Sat in her office, Arlecchino can't stop thinking about the kind-hearted baker she employed. Just looking at her interacting with the kids made something burn up inside of her. A little warmth that warms her cold, unfeeling heart. She looks out the window, hoping to have some reprieve from this strange feeling. Yet it seems the archons are against her wishes as she sees a certain baker running towards the orphanage. Almost tripping on her way. Even though it is foolish to entertain feelings for such a seemingly simple creature, Arlecchino can't help but grin at another interaction with her. Usually, she doesn't like to play with her food. But this time, she might make you an exception.
You stumble into the building as one of the kids, whom you now know is called Tealus, opens the door for you. With the pink box in hand, you stride through the halls looking for Arlecchino's office. As you ask one of the children, they point to the dark, long hallway without windows. How fitting. Your heels clicking softly as you walk over to her black office double doors. This place seems more like a villain's lair than an orphanage to you now, but you digress.
You knock 5 times in a specific pattern you were used to as a child when you hear a stern "Come in." You pull the golden doorhandle as the office window light starts flooding the hallway. You quickly close the door behind you as you step closer to her desk.
She does not look up from the paperwork on her desk as she multitasks without problem. "Why are you still here, baker." Just because she approves of your bond with the kids does not mean she will treat you differently from other people. "I saw there was nothing for you on the order list, so I made you something." You say proudly. You start rambling as you explain how you forgot to give it to her during breakfast.
She interrupts you as she reaches out her hand. "Can I see it?" You're flustered as you quickly hand her the box. She places it down gently on her desk as she lifts the packaging. Facing Arlecchino is a cookie with a white base, decorated with a black and red spider on top. "How adorable," Arlecchino mutters softly. Your soft 'huh' drives her back to reality as she responds. "I'm not very fond of sweet treats. I prefer savory things." She almost chuckles at the sight of your worried eyes locking with hers. "I can make you something else if you'd like? Hmm, although I can't think of many savory pasteries..." As you start naming some options, you reach for the cookie, trying to throw it away, but Arlecchino's quick reflexes hold your wrist before you can get close. "I thought you didn't like it?" Your confusion radiating off of you. "I never said such a thing. I merely said I prefer savory treats." She softly lets your wrist go as she stores the cookie on a desk extension behind her.
From then on, this has become routine, although some things have changed throughout the weeks. Instead of delivering the food alone, Arlecchino stops by early in the morning to help you carry them. Sometimes, it results in small talk when you haven't finished packing the orders yet.
Usually, she doesn't speak much and lets you do all the talking. You fear she's getting annoyed from your constant ramblings, but unbeknownst to you, she loves it when you talk about your interests and things you love.
This was a bit short, but if you wanna see a specific trope with this situation, you can req anything you wantt!!
Might do a part 2 of this idk yet
