there is something so weird about having revelations in your dreams. Your subconsciousness is whispering in your ear. Its telling you how to heal

Saint of life
Maybe getting attached to someone and literally making them your patron isn't just "funny haha , I like my best friend homoeroticism" but just a trauma response and actually preventing you from becoming your own person.
You simply shifted your purpose in life from a group of people to a single person. You're not alive bc you want to be , but because you're clinging onto a new person. Because that person became your purpose.
#Traumatized motherfuckers with anxious attachment style or smth#I'm motherfuckers#But this character is aswell

two sides of the same coin
I still think about, how sol and chaos are two sides of the same coin.
Sol is broken, damaged but so prone to defend her family, the society they fled from and that left her rotting. They feel so guilty for supposedly failing her parents, that they take on the accountability that is not theirs to bear.
Chaos hase been confronted with the pain and harm the system is causing since it was born. Saw the addicts in her backyard every day. He's not prone to defend it, he's out for blood, vengeance.
Both are the same. One is just clinging onto the believe, that they can return home once they "fixed" themself, that they can do undone everything, by finding purpose in life again. The other is so enraged by everything, that the only viable option to them is going somewhere far away, turning their back on their past and literally finding peace in oblivion.
These - to some contrasting - beliefs are often to be found in people dealing with trauma and mental illness. However, they aren't to be seen as contradictions, rather should they be viewed as branches of the same tree. Nurtured by the same soil, stemming from the same roots. You need them both to survive and one isn't worse than the other. They are simply reactions to a threat and therefore can't be judged.

what if love isn't enough?
Sometimes I wonder , if people know the pain of being loved but not feeling said love. How you need to leave, despite the shared love, because ultimately they are failing you and you are failing them.
I wonder if they know, that sometimes something or someone isn't bad, but they're still harming you and leaving you broken. That you can only accept it and try to move on, even if it's the most painful thing you've ever done.
Eden isn't bad, it's just that people are bound to be damaged and that's just circumstances. Sometimes life isn't enough and you need something beyond life to keep you existing.
