I know you're out of the PJO fandom (me as well), but I got a sudden wave of nostalgia when an animatic of yours popped up on my youtube feed. You influenced my art journey so much—like, I remember tracing over your art over and over again with paper so I could learn your style.

Now I can recognise bits of you in everything I draw so I think that's neat :)

Do you recommend any tips for defeating dreaded artblock? Also, could you give some tips on being consistent with your art + art style please 🙏

Unfortunately art block is something I continue to struggle with myself! I have certain ways to negate it if I recognize it coming on, but they may only work for me!

When I recognize art block coming on, whether its with inspiration or just not being able to draw anything right at all, I usually try a 30 min on/30 min off technique. Meaning I continue at it for 30 minutes, and then I take a break for 30 minutes (that break consists of either getting some exercise (stretches, jumping jacks, something to get my blood pumping and get out of a sitting position) or looking at pinterest/Instagram to get inspiration from my favorite artists or get into the right head space) and then continue the routine until I get myself out of an art block funk. It works a good portion of the time, but not always, and sometimes when that happens I just need to put the pen down and walk away for a day or two, doing other creative stuff to get my fix in until I'm ready to come back to it.

As far as being consistent.... yeah idk. I still struggle with that myself as my art is continually changing and growing! So sorry, idk if I have very good tips other than to reference your own work as much as possible and get into a routine with how you draw certain thinks (hair/eyes/body shapes).

Hi! I'm thinking of opening a print shop soon and was wondering if you like inprint and would recommend it?

I'd say do it! I've gotten quite a bit of extra cash from it which has helped. I certainly wouldn't rely on it for any major income, but it's nice to have just a little extra come from it and it doesn't hurt to put your stuff out there!
