The Cove refers to both Mermaid Cove and Pirate Cove. They are one and the same.

Pirates and mermaids have had an alliance for decades.

Similar to the spaceship, the Ghost (pirate ship) is unnaturally fast due to its unique hull construction. It's modeled after the HMS Speedy, which is well known for taking down a massive navy ship with only a tiny crew and deceit.

Zeb and the crew's designs are from my other au, In Pursuit of Honour. So I guess this is technically an au of that?

A little something something for mermay. This was my first attempt at traditional watercolours, it took a few unexpected twists, but I had @hayesflint keep me going through it and I'm very grateful.

Hayes and I somehow created two separate AUs for Persuit of Honour before I finished the sequel and I'm not even surprised really.

They look so good i will have to write more knight stuff for them so you can draw them more.

I mean theirs the Merlin AU but oof this begs for a good old Arthurian style fantasy epic with historical armour, a duel of fate and a sword of destiny.

The colors in the new Glass Moon Affair art are so cool

Thank you!! The first and fourth are actually just connecta textas and highlighters in a cheap marker book that made the colours fade, so it all ended up very pastel. But it worked out!

In which Zeb and Kallus fall into a magical field of flowers in the BBC Merlin universe because @solsilverpine had a dream about it once

Old man Merlin got mad at them and dumped them here, but at different times. So Kallus spent 3 months working his way on to Arthur's round table and Zeb has just dropped in.

straight from star wars itself! i took from senators and royalty characters to start on websites like this, mashed them together and just played with it

then i took my favorite designs and tried different variations of them all.

once i settled on the purple robe, i found garments of a similar construction from designers, red carpets, emmys to use as reference. things like this, because you need good reference to do fabric falling in a way thats natural and pleasing. some that i used for the Glass Moon Affair:

I use pintreset to find these because its semi-decent at grouping similar clothes together and you can follow the algorithm around to find new things.

For Zeb, I just referenced as many Jedi as i could. His final design is most heavily inspired by Quinn-lan Vos because, ngl, I wanted his arms out and about hahahahah
