Okay, I usually imagine these two as eternal engines of commitment when they're around each other. Given that they are very similar in age (doctor is younger), their relationship seems like a sibling thing to me. On their own they're great guys, all smart and stuff, but when they find a mutual reason to argue, everything starts going to hell.
