Sanemi as your secret Fiancée

Headcanons and short blurbs on how I think the Hashira would react to finding out Sanemi has a fiancée.

Sanemi isn’t a really forthcoming guy when it comes to giving out information about him, like family info or just things about himself. Especially not to most of the Hashira.

He tolerates most of them and is even is somewhat friends with Iguro, but not to the point where he willingly shares what he feels is private information about himself(which is most of it-)

Which is why nobody in the corps, besides Ubuyashiki, knows that Sanemi is engaged.

It's not like he really had to hide it though. With his brash attitude and angry personality, nobody really thought that he, out of all of them, would be in a relationship. Let alone engaged.

I feel like if the other Hashira found out, it wouldn't be all at once, and would definitely be an accident. If Sanemi were to tell them, it would be very close to when the wedding happens, in case you wanted them to attend as they are his colleagues (and friends), or he'd just tell them after you two actually get married.

The first Hashira to find out is Shinobu.

For Shinobu to find out about you two, I think the situation would be that you are really sick and he doesn't know the cause. I feel like Shinobu would be the only doctor that he would fully trust to give you the appropriate care you need to battle the sickness you have, as he knows she is capable, being the head doctor of the demon slayers and all. Sanemi would probably call her over to his estate if you are too weak to be brought to the Butterfly Mansion and get her to diagnose you and give medicine to heal you. When she comes, Shinobu deduces that it's just an extreme case of the flu and that you'll be fine with rest and taking the herbal tea medicine that they give to all patients at her estate as well as some flu medicine that she has for at least a week, or until symptoms clear up. During her visit she'd probably figure it out without Sanemi telling her, seeing the caring way he acts with you, even while keeping up his gruff personality while she's there. And she'd seen the ring on your finger. Before Shinobu leaves though, she'll congratulate you both on your relationship and when she comes back to check on you to make sure you are recovering well, she brings a small gift of sweet and savory snacks as a congratulatory gift.

The second to find out is Muichiro.

Because Muichiro is usually quiet and sometimes just stays really still while zoned out, I think it'll be really easy for someone to not notice he is in the same room as them at times. In this situation I think the way Muichiro would find out about you being Sanemi's fiancé is that he overhears Sanemi talking to himself about you when he thinks he's by himself or he sees you two out at a market together. He'd probably be suprised but also not care at the same time. He'd think "Oh, he has a fiancé. Huh." and then continue on with what he was already doing. I also think if Sanemi knows that Muichiro knows about you two, he wouldn't really care since he knows Muichiro will forget it anyway because of his amnesia and because Muichiro doesn't really talk about other people's business.

The third to find out is Mitsuri and Iguro.

Mitsuri and Iguro would find out at the same time, seeing you and Sanemi together at a holiday festival. I think you'd both be walking together through the festival's food stalls just enjoying each other's company and not really paying attention to the people around you. Mitsuri and Iguro are also in the food stalls area, getting treats for them(mostly Mitsuri) to eat. As they finish up and continue walking, I bet Iguro would be the first out of the two to notice you and Sanemi together in your own little world. At first he'd think his eyes are playing tricks on him but after watching you two for a minute(and pinching himself to be sure it wasn't some dream) he realizes that it's actually real and that you two are together, judging by the loving gaze in Sanemi's eyes when he looks at you. Noticing the Iguro isn't paying attention and is staring at something, Mitsuri goes to look at what caught his attention and when she sees you two together, she's ecstatic and surprised. She'll definitely leave you too alone for the night but the next time she sees you guys, she'll give you her congratulations, as well as questions on how you two met, how long you've been together, etc., Iguro will be there with her, trying to rein her in.

The next to find out is Rengoku and Uzui.

These two will find out about your relationship and engagement because Mitsuri told them. I think even if she promises Sanemi that she'll keep it to herself, she'll accidentally spill the beans to Rengoku and Uzui in her excitement. It wouldn't be right away but it'll still happen regardless. Rengoku and Uzui would both be shocked to learn Sanemi is getting engaged or even in a relationship, Uzui being more vocal about it, probably complaining how unflashy it was to keep this news from the rest of the Hashira. No matter their initial reaction, both would be happy for you both and express their congratulations to Sanemi the next time they see him and inquire about the wedding. I think they'd also try to get Sanemi to go drinking with them as a celebration.

The last ones to find out are Gyomei and Giyuu.

I think these two who be the last ones to find out about the engagement for a couple reasons. First reason Gyomei's blind. He wouldn't be able to see you two together at any point so I believe he would probably find out from the other Hashira talking about it near him before a meeting or something or one of them would just tell him the news. Gyomei is an emotional person so when he finds out, he will cry tears of joy and happiness at the news of Sanemi being engaged. He would express his happiness towards the engagement to Sanemi the next time they come in contact with each other.

The reason for Giyuu also being the last to know is because he's not really close to the others, especially not close with Sanemi, so I think he'll only find out way later than everyone else. His way of finding out would probably be similar to Gyomei's, Giyuu would only find out if some of the Hashira around him were talking about it. He too would be surprised but I think he would mostly be surprised, not because Sanemi is a grumpy and harsh guy, but because to him, Sanemi didn't seem like the type of guy that wanted a partner and he thought Sanemi was only focused on his job: Killing demons. Nevertheless, Giyuu would be happy for the man, even if their relationship isn't great, and would probably send Sanemi a letter to say his congratulations, with a container of ohagi attached as a gift.

Giyuu relationship headcanons

My headcanons for what it might be like for a relationship with Giyuu.

•Giyuu is a very quiet, private person so its no surprise that he isn't a big fan of PDA.

•How ever, he will hold your hand when you go out together and sometimes give you quick pecks on your lips, cheek or forehead when he knows no one is looking.

•But when you're alone together in the comfort of your home its a whole different story.

•He loves to have some sort of physical contact with you most of the time. Sitting down reading reading a book? His heads in your lap with you petting his hair. Cooking a meal for the both of you? He's either helping or he's hugging you from behind, resting his head on your shoulder.

• I bet sometimes if it's a slow morning or if he is really tired after a long day? Giyuu would let you do his hair. I think he'd really love just the sensation of have your hands run through his hair, even if he doesn't say it. It helps him relax and calm him down, especially if he gets in his own head with worries.

• If you're a civilian, every night he'll stop by your house after his patrol of his prefecture just to make sure that you're alright.

• If you're hashira like him then he trusts in your abilities as a demon slayer to protect yourself, but will still worry since he doesn't want to loose you to demons like he's lost others in the past.

• I don't see him as someone who says verbally that he loves you a lot. I think most of the time he will show it with his actions rather than words. But if you really want or need to hear him say it or if he feels that his actions aren't enough, he will tell you out loud.

• I think for a confession it would be spontaneous. I feel like he'd be very anxious to tell you, especially since everyone that he has been close to in the past has died, but I think he would confess one day on accident.

• It'll happen either one night when you are patching him up from one of his missions or when you two are out walking or something. The light would just hit your face with such elegance and beauty that he would just blank out for a minute in awe, all his worries flying out the window and just say, "I love you...." quietly but but with no hesitation.

• He'd then get so embarrassed later but also kinda relieved he got it off of his chest and that you feel the same way. (please tell him you feel the same way, it'd break his heart if you didn't T-T)

The New Pillar - Part 1: The Introduction

This is part 1 of the hashira meeting Muichiro for the first time.

The hashiras were gathered at the Ubuyashiki Estate for an unusually sudden pillar meeting. Usually these meetings happen bi-annually as there isn't always new useful information on demons. There aren't any extra meetings called unless there is new dangerous information on Muzan, the Demon King, or the introduction of a new member of the hashira.

As the current 8 hashira wait for the head of the demon slayer corps, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, they split off into different groups, chatting and wondering why the Master has called such a sudden meeting.

Off to one side by a blossoming tree are the Love, Fire, Sound and Snake pillars, Mitsuri, Rengoku, Uzui and hidden in one of the tree branches, Iguro.

In another group, is the Stone, Wind and Insect pillars, Gyoumei, Sanemi and Shinobu. And as usual off to the side is the stoic Water pillar, Giyuu.

"Hey guys do you think we might be getting a new member?" Mitsuri asks the three boys around her.

"What makes you think we'll be getting a new member," says Iguro "Oyakata-sama could've called us here because of new information too."

"W-Well, it could be both reasons too! If there is going to be a new member though I really hope it's another girl!" gushes Mitsuri. "Shinobu is fun to hang out with but she's usually busy with taking care of those in the Butterfly Estate. Another girl here would be so fun!"

"If there is going to be a new member of the hashira then that would be wonderful! We should invite them to join us the next time we get together between missions!" exclaims Rengoku with his usual smile.

"Whatever they are I hope they're flamboyant, unlike that statue over there." Uzui jerks his head in Giyuu''s direction as he says this.

"I don't care, as long as they're strong............... and don't go after Mitsuri." Iguro mumble the last part not wanting anyone else to hear that.

Tengen was about to comment on that when a set of twins walked out of the estate.

"The Master has arrived."

The hashira gather in a line and bow, showing their respect, as Ubuyashiki walks out.

"Good morning my children." He greets them as he smiles warmly

"Good morning Oyakata-sama." Answers the pillars in unison.

He smiles, "I am thrilled to see that you all are in good health and in good spirits this morning."

"I am sure all of you are wondering why I summoned you all here for this meeting as we already had our bi-annual one last month," most of the hashira nod at this, letting him know that he is right.

"Today I'd like to introduce to you a new addition to the Hashira," He gestures behind him, "Allow me to introduce to you Tokito Muichiro, the Mist Hashira, user of Mist Breathing."

Out from behind him steps a child of about 12 years of age, with long black hair that fades into a vibrant teal color and a slightly bored look in his eyes.

There are a few seconds of silence before the clearing erupts in noise. The hashira gasp in shock at what they've just been told, though Mitsuri and Shinobu are the first to voice their thoughts.

"He's so cute!!!"

"Oh my ....he's so young!"

Quickly composing themselves, the others relay their shock and confusion as well.

"This has to be a joke! He's a child!"

"How long has he been slaying demons to qualify as a Hashira!?"

"How is this possible! How old is this kid!?"

"Mist Breathing? I've never heard of that, did he create it?"

Knowing that this type of reaction would happen, Oyakata-sama just smiles and puts a finger to his lips. Instantly the noise quiets down, though there is still restless tension in the air surrounding the new addition to the hashira.

"My children, please settle down, your questions will be answered one at a time. Now who would like to go first? "

Shinobu raises her hand and with a nod of approval from Oyakata-sama, goes to speak.

"Muichiro, if I may ask, can you please tell us about yourself?"

Throughout the whole ordeal, Muichiro has been staring up at the clouds, not really paying attention. Upon hearing his name, he snaps back to reality.

"Huh?"

Shinobu lips twitch downward slightly at being ignored, "I sai- "

"She told you to tell us about yourself brat." Gruffly interupts Sanemi.

Muichiro sighs and turns to face the Hashira fully. "My name is Tokito Muichiro, I'm 12 years old and the user of Mist Breathing." He tilts his head and pauses, "Who are you all again?"

Mitsuri excitedly steps forward, "Oh sorry! We haven't introduced ourselves yet have we? I'm Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira! I use Love Breathing! I created it from Flame Breathing, did you create yours too? It sounds really cool!"

"Yes." Muichiro replies detachedly, more focused on watching the shapes of the clouds passing by.

"How flamboyant! Creating a new breath at such a young age!" Remarks Uzui "I'll introduce myself next. I am the flashiest Hashira of all and former shinobi, Uzui Tengen the Sound Hashira!" He declares boastfully as Iguro rolls his eyes at the man's antics.

"How long have you been a demon slayer for?" Iguro asks cooly.

"Two months."

This shocks the Hashira to silence. It hasn't been heard of for a demon slayer to become a hashira in only two months, especially someone so young. The shortest amount of time that they knew of was a little under a year.

Taking the opportunity of the silence, Oyakata-sama speaks. "Now everyone, please treat Muichiro as one of you. He may be young but he has exceptionally great skills and potential." Oyakata-sama says to the hashira, trying to ease their initial concern and shock.

Oyakata-sama turns to Muichiro and rests a hand on his shoulder to get his attention. "Muichiro, I know this is a change from working by yourself but I hope you'll come to be comfortable with the others." He says to Muichiro softly, who nods in response.

He then addresses the rest of the Hashira. "This concludes the meeting with you all. I encourage you all to get to know our new member and please stay safe in the meantime."

Kamaboko squad - Band AU

My headcanons for if the Kamaboko squad were in a band in a modern au. Plus 2 extra characters at the end.

■ Tanjiro

- Tanjiro would be the lead guitarist of the band as well as the band leader. He'd be the one to book events for them and make sure everything is prepared for their next show.

- He also is the one to make the practice schedules for everyone, making it so that it works with each member's free time perfectly.

■ Inosuke

- Inosuke for sure would be the drummer. It would definitely be the best choice as he can use it to release all his pent up energy or frustration during shows or practices.

- It's also a good choice for him as he doesn't have to memorize specifics, like notes and/or lyrics, just the beat of the songs. When on stage, Inosuke likes to give the audience a little show sometimes by doing tricks with his drumsticks and showcasing his flexibility between sets, to keep the audience hyped. And to show off a little.

■ Kanao

- I feel like Kanao wouldn't be on stage but more of an unseen to the public kind of member, matching her more quiet nature. She would be the one to write some of the songs alongside Muichiro, but mostly deals with managing the band.

- She'd work with Tanjiro to secure bookings and venues and handles the band's finances. Kanao also handles the paperwork involved with handling their merch and doling out everyone's paychecks.

■ Genya

- I think Genya would be the band's bassist. I feel like he would enjoy playing that instrument the most. It's not an 'in your face' type position in the band, like a singer or drummer but isn't a forgotten one either.

- I also think that Genya, like Inosuke, would sometimes show off to the crowd by playing the bass behind his back, keeping their interest. Also showing of his skills. Because of this, I think he and Inosuke compete to see who can impress the crowd more every performance.

■ Nezuko

- Nezuko is a singer alongside Zenitsu. They sing together on stage alot and is usually the one to get the audience engaged in some songs, like getting them to clap or sing along.

- I feel like she'd also be the one to design and coordinate everyone outs fits for each show they do. I think Nezuko'd be really good at fashion and she knows how to dress everyone in their respective styles and still have them look coordinated and in theme. Nezuko also helps Muichiro in making merch designs before handing them to Kanao.

■ Muichiro

- Muichiro is another one that I think would do better not in the public view due to his quiet nature. He mostly works on songwriting and creating merch designs.

- He also forgets the practice days a lot so they usually have it at his house, plus he has the space for it. If they have a particularly big show and the ticket sales and preparations get a little bit hectic, Muichiro will often help Kanao in dealing with it.

■ Zenitsu

- I see Zenitsu as the lead singer alongside Nezuko. With his much he can scream in the show, I think it's a good fit. Plus with his great hearing he can differentiate between pitches and keys to sing in.

- Out of all of them I think that Zenitsu is the one to be the most engaged with the fans out side of at shows. Like at meet and greets or just having fans come up to him on the street, I feel like he is less cautious about it and just gets super excited to meet everyone. His excitement goes through the roof, especially when girls come upto him.

[EXTRA]

■ Giyuu and Sanemi

- These two would be the bodyguards. They make sure that fans don't get too rowdy during shows and meet n greets, as well as make sure no one steps out of line. They both take their job very seriously and haven't really had any accidents with fans. Most fans are very respectful to the band and its space but whenever a fan decides to break a boundary, these to are on it in an instant.

- Giyuu became their bodyguard since he's close family friends with the Kamado's when they were growing up. He thought it would be a great way to support them and make sure they stay safe in the entertainment industry. Plus with how he doesn't show that much emotion to others in public and acts closed off a lot, it helps him have the silent and intimidating look for his position.

- Sanemi became their bodyguard mostly to keep watch over Genya. With him being his only living sibling he didn't want Genya to be in any sort of danger, especially since being in a band gains a lot of public attention, not all of it positive. When realizing that participating in the band was what Genya really wanted to do, Sanemi agreed on the condition that he'd be their bodyguard. At first, he didn't like the idea and especially didn't like Tanjiro, blaming him for giving his brother the idea of being in the band, but after a while he warmed up to the idea and to the others, seeing how they all cared for one another and seeing how happy Genya was, doing this with his friends.

- Both Giyuu and Sanemi became bodyguard for the band at the same time but only became somewhat friends after 2 years. At first, Sanemi didn't like how closed off Giyuu was, thinking that he was looking down on him. Giyuu on the other hand, thought Sanemi was too aggressive and didn't like how he spoke to the other members. Eventually though, they warmed up to each other and became friends, bonding over the fact that they both want to keep the teens safe.

- Eventhough both are intimidating when doing their job, they also have fans of their own. Many of the band's fans are also fans of them and try to get pictures or autographs or their phone numbers. Sanemi and Giyuu decline their efforts which has led to many of the fans thinking they are together. Is this rumor true.....? Welp, we'll never know.

How the Kamaboko squad helps you when you're sick

My headcanons on how I think the Kamoboko squad would take care of you when you get sick.

■ Tanjiro

- Being the oldest of his family, Tanjiro has a lot of experience taking care of people as he has helped his mother with taking care of his siblings, especially when they're sick.

- If you're the type of person that tries to keep working and denies that you're sick (even if it's pretty obvious), he will hover over you and make sure you stop and rest.

- This dude will be bringing you healthy meals in bed, making sure you drink enough fluids, and cuddle you, all until you feel better.

If you're the vomiting type of sick, Tanjiro will hold your hair back for you (if it's long) while you puke it all out in the toilet.

- If you don't like taking medicine, then you bet Tanjiro's gonna be using some of the tricks he used to get his younger siblings to take their medicine on you.

- He will try to be by your side to help you get better as much as possible, but not so much that you feel smothered.

■ Kanao

- Being the younger sister of Shinobu and having lots of experience taking care of people in the Butterfly Estate, you know for sure she knows what she's doing.

- Kanao will be bringing you medicine and healthy meals that are specially made for when someone is sick.

- When taking care of you, she will be somewhat strict, but only if you're proving to be difficult and not taking the medicine or refusing to rest.

- If you're the vomiting type of sick, Kanao will help you when you're puking it out and will clean you up without batting an eye. If you feel bad about it afterwards, she'll reassure you with a smile and tell you that it doesn't bother her as long as you get better.

- Kanao won't hover by your side, but will keep tabs on how you're feeling and periodically check on you take sure you're okay.

- If you want her to stay by your side though, she will and you'll both just cuddle and/or she'll read to you.

- I also feel like she'll probably get you to take some vitamins after you've gotten better to improve your immune system and make sure you have less of a chance of getting sick again.

■ Zenitsu

- I don't think Zenitsu has a lot of experience taking care of other people but I do know that he will try his best to make sure you get better quickly.

- With his super hearing, he'll probably hear that your sick before you actually tell him. He can also tell if it's just a cold or if it's a fever by your heart rate, not just by taking your temperature.

- This boy will dot on you until you feel better. Want food? He'll get it for you. Feel headachy? He'll get you a cool towel for your forehead.

- Even though he himself hates taking medicine, Zenitsu will persuade you to take it, while complaining with you on how bad it tastes. (He may or may not have asked Tanjiro on how to trick you into taking the medicine, shhh)

- Zenitsu will be by your side all the time to make sure you're doing okay, if you need him for anything, basically smothering you in his worry and wanting to be by your side when you get better.

- He is definitely asking Tanjiro for advice on how to care for you though, because even though he's inexperienced in taking care of others, he really wants to do his best for you and want you to get better.

■ Nezuko

- Now with Nezuko being a demon, she can't really take care of you during the day, but when night comes she's doing all she can for you.

- Being the eldest after Tanjiro means she too had helped take care of the younger siblings and knows just what to do when someone is sick.

- She'll change the cool towel on your forehead for you, make sure you have water to keep hydrated, and monitor your condition throughout the night.

- If you wake up to go puke, Nezuko will be by your side helping you, and will help clean you up with gentle care too.

- If you're having trouble sleeping, then Nezuko'll cuddle you as you sleep and/or hum you to sleep with a lullaby, staying awake to make sure you get your rest and to make sure she gets back into her box before dawn breaks.

■ Inosuke

- This boy has never taken care of someone else when they're sick, being raised by boars in the mountains and all. That doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to in his own way though.

- Being raised in the mountains, I'm sure Inosuke has some homeopathic remedies that he used instead of regular medicines.

- He won't be actively taking care of you but will bring you little gifts to make you feel better like acorns or really pretty rocks he found.

- Inosuke will also eat with you in your bed if you can't really move that much without feeling nauseous. And if you get headaches then he'll be slightly quieter when around you and won't yell as often.

- Inosuke will check up on you sometimes to see if you're getting better but if you ask him about it he'll make up an excuse saying he's just trying to make sure his minion is ready to fight him yet.

- When you recover, Inosuke will definitely challenge you to a fight to make sure you're still strong enough to be one of his minions. (His way of making sure you're actually okay and feeling better.)
