The brass and silver tatting shuttle pendant I made (it's functional - see the little butterfly I made with it!) 

My Mum has since asked for a thimble, we'll see!

Our art teacher borrowed bugs from the entomology center, so we had our own little bug specimens to draw, then used magnifying glasses to see the detail.

Top one was done first, using 'gouache' paint - which can be used as an acrylic or water colour depending on the amount of water used. I hadn't used it before but it's great!

The bottom one I did using ink and a finer brush, so I could get the detail a bit better. So much fun, bugs are cool :)

I've been meaning to make myself a bag for a while - this is the little satchel one I ended up making! I didn't use a pattern, just estimated sizes, I quite like the little fabric inside :P

A sterling silver petrified wood pendant, the grain on the back is just gorgeous! It's a nice hard stone (I got told in the store) so it's hard to scratch when you're setting it, which is helpful!
