By bf got sentenced to 7 months in the federal prison for refusing to testify

His lawyer advised him to do this rather than truthfully say he didn't witness his friend do any crime, risking being held indefinitely for "perjury"

*sigh*

I won't know when he gets transferred to the federal facility or where. They calculate his release date when he gets there, so who knows when I'll see him again. This is when they'll add any jail time as credit towards his sentence, assuming his eligible for that.

Bf is still in jail. He decided to forego bond as part of his strategy he and his lawyer came up with. Best case scenario, he refuses to testify against his friend and they let my bf go because the FBI can only hold material witnesses for so long.

The waiting is so hard. He doesn't go before the judge until the 13th.

The fbi is so corrupt. This tactic they use to strong arm people to sign statements will leave people homeless and without a job.
