Hello! I wanted to ask a few questions.

How long will the submisisons be open? I wasn't part of the fanbase at the time of the first tournaments so I don't know what it's like really.

Is it possible to volunteer as help for the project? Specifically in the art aspect? I imagine your load will be massive even with extra picture submissions. I would love to offer help if you'd have it.

Are there specific rules for mixed media/non-digital?

Question 1: submissions will be open on he 28/7/2025 to 11/8/2025. If they get filled too early there will be a post about it. The pinned post usually is up to date on submission

Question 2: I will discuss with mod ian about the matter but it would certainly help. If it goes well, I will make a separate form for volunteers. But for now I am not overwhelmed just yet.

Question 3: there are no rules for mixed media. I am of the opinion that anything can be sexy (/lh). You can submit a traditional ref and it would be just as valid as any other. Same is applied to fanart of the event. For #sexyman propaganda and #half time shenanigans, I even allow fanfiction! Show your love in whatever you have on hand, there is no limit!

Sschhhhhh... I finally got Voice of the Hunted out of his hidey-hole :}

Design notes:

As a part of Slayer's psyche, represents the Survival Instinct.

Based on a coal tit: tenacious and acrobatic, these tiny, common birds are often prey for bigger birds.

When I first met him, I pictured a clever, experienced hunter-gatherer, plucked from the beginning of time. The oldest and wisest Voice. Thus, elderly, tough, with sparse but fluffy plumage and hare-footed.

To show the resilience needed to reach this stage of his life, he bares many scars:

His left eye is blind and in a permanent squint, as if always scanning his surroundings.

The great slices around his shoulders are from when a giant, clawed hand once grabbed him from behind -- and still, Hunted escaped.

He needs nothing more than a loincloth, and sneaks low to the ground, ready to sprint or tip-toe.

Wears black for alliance with Slayer.

The only Voice I would trust with the steel claw -- I mean, the Pristine Blade.

As the Voice most in tune with their animalistic side, the Slayer's ear tufts is echoed in his large, expressive hare ears. The rabbit/hare is a famous prey animal, and I saw it in many other Hunted designs before, such as Karma Chameleon's and 0th's.

Despite fear, he's deeply drawn to Beast and Den, out of respect and in awe of their power and efficiency as predators.

Unlike his counterpart Opportunist, who masks fear with confidence and hides desire and insecurities under an ill-fitting suit, Hunted is focused, measured and lets his honest emotions show when appropriate. Nearly naked, as in openly vulnerable.

In Wild, he gains a flower crown as a show of good will and care from the Princess, which calms and pleases him.

In Eye of the Needle, he borrows Skeptic's cloak, which is dark green for strategic intelligence, and white on the inside for giving the Princess what she wants.

In Skeptic!Den, wears white because he sympathizes with the Princess most. In Stubborn!Den, wears red for battle-ready bloodthirst, and when embracing instinct.... well. Hares' ears perk up when they're very tense and focused, and birds spread their wings like that as a threat display. All over the animal world, unblinking, wide-eyed staring is taken as a threat.

Had another question for you as well; How come you chose/came up with "Dragon Tamed" as the name of, well, Dragon Tamed?

The short and cheeky of it is that long ago in the first draft, the comic started out as being about a Dragon Tamer who is a submissive to his shapeshifting dragon lovers. So the tamer was actually the tamed, in a BDSM sense.

Now, Dragon Tamed became more complicated and the story got longer, but the D/s and kink themes still play a part, and Naia is still the human sub to dragons Purg and Griss.

The logo has a little subversion of expectation in how "Dragon" is written in a billowing, romantic font, while "TAMED" is more imposing, imitating norse runes (the story is set in Sweden) as well as leather straps and bolts for that classic bondage and leather flavor. Even the G's vine is wrapping around the M's poles, indicating three people roped into the main relationship.

The dragons themselves are well-rounded beings and not so scary. While entering into a new kink relationship can be more daunting and exciting!

It's Cold's turn to get a redesign! I decided to give him a dress since I think he'd look elegant in long skirt. (My main inspirations for this change come from this dress and some other Cold designs from @phantasmatoucan and @sonjalikestodraw ) But he still has his poncho and is still as dusty and grey as ever.

Cold's eyes may look empty, but sometimes he can gain pupils just to give a little scare. Seems like he takes it best from a ghostly princess...

Another fursona: Emmett Sockertopp (“Sugar top”). A tired pastel goth witch with a large beard; how very Gender of me.

Prop details and groceries are oversized to show that she’s small, despite having the same proportions as me. Like Haru in Beastars, she's only 105 cm tall. Appropriately, this cotton candy lady is a cross between a bunny and a wolf. I always pull traits from multiple animals with my furries, it seems.

Skeptic X Prisoner is one of my personal top ships. While leaving with her head is my fave ending for showcasing their kooky mutual understanding, being locked up together has so much unspoken yearning despite the closeness.
