POV: You’re getting booped on the nose by Sonic the Hedgehog

I have Chao nicknamed Sonic and Shadow in SADX, and they ALWAYS sleep together. Like, I haven’t seen them not sleeping by each other once. If one isn’t sleeping, the other just hangs around doing their own thing.

The game sometimes loads sleeping Chao in the water so when I enter the Garden they’re swimming, and when they get out, they’re just 😑🫧 because they were technically woken up before their time. Once, the game did it to Sonic and he was so fussy and just kept standing around clearly sleepy and yawning sometimes BUT WOULD NOT GO TO SLEEP until he returned to sleeping Shadow’s side, and THEN he finally went to sleep.

This last line is the most important line in the whole game to me. It implies this: Knuckles values Sonic's opinion a lot and/or believes Sonic is on the same level of knowledge or even more knowledgeable than him when it comes to Chaos Emeralds. Sonic's connection to the Emeralds has always fascinated me, but for Knuckles or other characters to acknowledge it, too? Always a treat 💎

SatBK Week 2023. Bonus: Fool

If A Flame of War in Times of Peace was a wrap-up for the whole SatBK week, this one is a hopeful wrap-up for the Lansoni plotline of it in particular ⚔❤️‍🔥 Sir Lancelot goes to his mother for some relationship advice...
