i'm so happy to finally be sharing this fanfic with the wider world. I honestly have no idea where it came from, i was writing a different fic entirely when this one walked in, sat down, and refused to leave until i had written down its life story

Like, EVERYONE in Kris's family is messed up at this point. Poor Kris has to deal with all of this, while also Sealing Fountains, and trying to keep Susie from finding out about the whole "yeah, i'm actually not who you thought i was this entire time, i'm just being CONTROLLED by a HUMAN SOUL that ISN'T MINE APPARENTLY."

AND Susie is finally making friends, finally opening up to people about her past, and then RALSEI IS HIDING SHIT, KRIS IS HIDING MORE WORSE SHIT, AND THE ONLY OTHER ADULT SHE TRUSTED OUTSIDE OF TORIEL TURNED OUT TO BE DEAD.

Everyone is going to be falling apart at the end of this. the fun gang/lancer fan club/shit squad is going through it right now.

DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON RALSEI. THE ONLY POSSIBLE THING THAT HE COULD BE HIDING THAT'S WORTH THE LYING, AND THE SNEAKING, AND THE TIPTOEING AROUND THE PROPHECY, IS THAT HE'LL DIE OR SOMETHING, SO HE'S TRYING TO EASE THE BLOW OF IT.

I'm not even THINKING about the connotations of Asgore having a SHADOW CRYSTAL, and the EFFECTS it will have on the overall future of the story.

My entire Being has been Forcefully Altered because of chapter 3, and then 4 came along and Hit Me in the Gut with a sword of Coolness and Edge and I haven't even Beaten chapter 4 yet
