can I be so serious and ask that you interact with this post if you are a member of the trans community and you love trans women and trans men and intersex people and trans people outside the binary and I mean GENUINELY love and resent infighting. sounds like interaction bait but I’m just so distressed lately and I need to know that all the infighting I’m seeing is the minority and the majority of people are actually here to love and live and see trans people thrive

It delights me when people who have pets refer to their animals doing things that they're not allowed to do as "crimes". Like you hear rustling from The Forbidden Cabinet and just go sir that's illegal.

Plural culture is having to be careful about advice that tells you to "create a persona" to do a task, because there's always a good chance that the second we get stressed we'll just end up actually splitting that persona and it wouldn't be pretend any more and then they'd stop doing whatever job we created the persona for in the first place

its so sad sometimes wondering what we would have been like had we not been traumatized as a little kid. that little round faced baby being born from a drug dealing father and a meth head mother. sometimes i think "well we can mask pretty well as a person" but we're all just masking as Damien, one of our (as far as we know) longest lasting parts. even he doesn't know what we would be like. its weird to think about. i don't like lingering on it, but im sure people relate of course.

Realized recently that due to a lot of doubt/toxic thoughts during our early system discovery, we backed ourselves into a corner of over-exaggerating our "unique" personalities.

Many of us refuse to front alone due to worrying that we aren't acting "different enough" and will therefore either be fake-claimed or spiral into a sea of system doubt.

It's so difficult to pick apart the web of falsehood that we've wrapped around ourselves...

If anyone has any advice or similar experiences, feel free to share if you're comfortable with it, as it would help a lot, even if just to feel less alone

a lot of instances of the "oh you like waffles? so that means you hate pancakes?" metaphor takes place on sysblr and in system spaces in general and it's starting to get really exhausting
