Spreads his legs until his front is smooshed up behind Dean’s seat, leans in and nibbles the taut skin of his brother’s neck, gets a gritty, quiet hiss in return. Sam’s left hand snakes around Dean’s shoulder, settles across his brother’s heart - thrum, thrum, thrum. He catches Dean’s other hand where it’s softly rubbing Sam’s leg, drags their joined hands up to his mouth, suckles soft against the back of Dean’s hand, quiet open-mouth, eyes never drop from the smokey ones in the mirror. Longing, loving.

STOLEN SPN FANFICS - CHECK FOR YOURS HERE

Wattpad users are once again blatantly stealing hundreds of fanfics and reposting them without permission. My SPN friends and I have dug up three new accounts stuffed with reposted fics that are listed by ship and by the original titles. 

They think putting “works not mine, message me if you don’t want your work here” and “cred: [name]” in their reposts excuses never asking permission in the first place. In several cases, the reposter is writing author’s notes like they wrote the stories even though they state at the top they reposted all of them. 

Please check for your SPN fanfics here, and if you find them, file a DMCA to get them removed without having to try talking to the thief. If Wattpad gets enough DMCAs for an account, they will sometimes close the entire account down, and they deserve to be shut down. The extent of the directly copied word-for-word reposts here is disgusting.

Winning the role and acting alongside Jensen brings back a flood of memories and long-repressed emotions. Jared and Jensen will have to find a way to resolve their shared past if they are to make a success of their new show.

Completing this one felt like a real achievement. I’ve been thinking about this fic for a solid couple of years and planning it out, matching this AU version of the Js to the non-au versions required meticulous planning.

Ride with you upon the wind

Jared’s been riding through the country for months now, unwilling to stop anywhere for more than a night. But when a thunderstorm forces him to accept shelter from a mysterious green-eyed man, he finds himself questioning his journey as well as wondering who Jensen really is.

Creating this felt like creating something magical. I was lucky to have an artist for this who was willing to go off in a completely different direction than she’d originally envisioned. 

I’m not going to tag anyone, but I’d love it if other people did this too.

I rec’d this last year, but as it was finished this year I’m cheating and including it again. Quite simply the best J2 fic I’ve ever read, absolutely heartbreaking at times. Put a weekend or a week aside and read.

Older, somewhat grumpy Jensen who is enchanted by rayofsunshine!Jared is probably my all time favourite J2 fic trope, and coupled with an excellent plot and steaming hot sex, it makes this a last-minute must-read addition to this year’s list.

Now Sam’s got to deal with hiding his feelings for his (mercifully) oblivious brother, all his friends think Dean’s his boyfriend, he’s overdue on a paper and hasn't started studying for finals, there may or may not be a poltergeist in the basement rec room, and, oh yeah, Dean found that damn T-shirt he’s had under his pillow for close on three years now.

And he’d thought college life would be simple.

I think we all need Stanford fix-it fics occasionally, and this one is so well written its a delight.

I loved this so much. It was so beautifully written and evocative, and the lore/scenario Alula created for this was wonderful. Don’t let the warnings put you off - this is a beautiful fic.
