Resources From The Leftist Feminist Philosopher
Google is so powerful that it "hides" other search systems from us. We just don't know the existence of most of them.
Meanwhile, there are still a huge number of excellent searchers in the world who specialize in books, science, other smart information.
Keep a list of sites you never heard of!
www.refseek.com - Academic Resource Search. More than a billion sources: encyclopedia, monographies, magazines.
www.worldcat.org - a search for the contents of 20 thousand worldwide libraries. Find out where lies the nearest rare book you need.
https://link.springer.com - access to more than 10 million scientific documents: books, articles, research protocols.
www.bioline.org.br is a library of scientific bioscience journals published in developing countries.
http://repec.org - volunteers from 102 countries have collected almost 4 million publications on economics and related science.
www.science.gov is an American state search engine on 2200+ scientific sites. More than 200 million articles are indexed.
www.base-search.net is one of the most powerful researches on academic studies texts. More than 100 million scientific documents, 70% of them are free.

Decided to post my full graphic design final project, I've poured my blood, sweat and tears into it. Looking at it now I'd probably do a lot differently, but I'm still proud of myself, especially cause I'm not really good at the design part. I also learned about the intricacies of printing a book, which was a lot of pain
@tazmuir if you see this, thank you for getting me an A+ on my high school tech diploma
also pls ignore the illfitted username it was a last minute edit in ms paint

Here's my theory for why TV.Gurathin is in love with TV.Mensah.
In the book All Systems Red, Murderbot observes (based on its habitual surveillance of its clients) that Dr. Volescu appears to have a crush on Dr. Mensah. Nothing comes of it.
But Volescu is cut from the TV series, so that crush has been transferred to Gurathin, because it gives the writers a key to unlocking his back story, which isn't discussed in the books at all.
And: the unsettling intensity of Gurathin's infatuation provides present-day consequences for his dehumanization in the Corporate Rim, while also creating a more concrete basis for his conflict with Murderbot than just bad vibes.

Police detective trying to solve a murder who accidentally stumbles onto the victim's neighbour's secret - he's a vampire. Drinks blood, avoids the sun, the whole shebang. He didn't kill her though. So while that's life changing information and whatever it does not help his case one bit
Vampire didn't even know her that well. He caught her cat once when the thing got out and brought him back after sundown. She gave him a cobbler, which he said was very bad, but not the sort of thing you'd do a murder over. "That's not funny," says the cop. "A woman is dead."
And the vampire is like, "Well, I implied that killing her was wrong."
The cop gives up with the vampire. Finds out a lady this woman worked with is like, a witch, or does magic or some shit. Real magic. Cool. She didn't kill her either though. Jesus Christ.
This cop finding an entire magical society and being utterly humourless and annoyed about the entire thing because it's not even helping his CASE

GUYS. Real talk. The only other starred review that I ever received from Kirkus was for Check, Please! Book 1: #Hockey, seven years ago. Kirkus stars are so hard to come by for me, okay? 😭 I can't believe FLIP got one, with that cheeky little stinger—"flipping awesome." So thankful!
Full review under the cut.
"After a wish goes wrong, a girl and her crush must figure out how to break a body-switching curse. Chi-Chi Ekeh feels invisible. Like her previous crushes, hot varsity swimmer Flip Henderson—yet another rich white boy at her Texas boarding school—seems unaware of her existence. With only weeks until graduation, Nigerian American Chi-Chi’s friends Esther and Yesenia dare her to ask Flip to Senior Festival. But Flip accidentally shows her promposal video to the whole class—and immediately turns her down. Embarrassed, Chi-Chi flees, but her innocent remark—“I just wish Flip Henderson liked me”—has unexpected consequences. After falling and hitting her head, Chi-Chi wakes up in Flip’s body, and he in hers. Freaked out beyond belief and regularly switching bodies, Chi-Chi and Flip work with Esther and Yesenia to break the curse. Meanwhile, forced to see herself through someone else’s eyes, Chi-Chi must confront uncomfortable feelings. There’s much to love about this book. The fully realized and sympathetic characters, sincere and humorous development of friendships, and protagonist’s relatable and bittersweet emotional journey will keep readers engaged, eager to reach the resolution. Ukazu carefully balances tough topics like self-hatred, depression, and suicidal ideation with funny feel-good moments, deftly rendered in her characteristically expressive style. The dynamic and engaging illustrations bring to life a heartwarming story of self-love, acceptance, and true connection. Flipping awesome." (Graphic fiction. 14-18)
