Well done MAPPA you have fucked up royally on this one… probably one of the biggest fumbles in fandom history let’s be real!

YOI singlehandedly saved their fucking company but nooooo they got a bit too bigheaded with their 15 fucking shounen projects that the very fucking anime that put their name on the scene gets completely fucked over!!!

It’s actually fucking bullshit!

MAPPA didn’t deserve YOI and I wish them a very happy fuck you in all their future projects!

Just played a game with my bf where he described a character and I had to guess who it was… these are some of the drawings I made based on the descriptions:

I had an epiphany the other day:

Greg ‘Not our division’ Lestrade and Sir Leon the Long Suffering are the same character in different time periods

They both have to deal with all the shit the other people around them do whilst wondering how the hell they found themselves in this situation in the first place. They will always be there when needed but they will 100% be judging the fuck out of the other person when they help. They always seem like they know more than they do but decide that it’s not their problem unless it’s life or death/important enough.

Not me sat here once again thinking about Alfred telling Henry to run away even though he knows he’s already going to turn himself in and therefore sacrificing his life for him… I am unwell

This is the quickest, shortest and silliest fanfic I’ve ever written:

It was a normal day at work for Kalaya. She stocked the floor with new clothes, she helped a few children pick out what sound they wanted inside their toys and was currently sat behind the counter as her coworker Rian refilled the stuffing machine.

“I’m so bored” Rian complained as she lifted the bucket in their arms. “Nobody comes in during the lunch hour cause they’re all at McDonalds or something”

Kalaya just rolls her eyes “I don’t see what the problem is. It gives us a break”

A chill runs it’s way down Rian’s spine. The redhead had been about to respond but instead they turn to face the front of the shop. “Kalaya” she whispers as she slowly walks over to the counter “He’s back” she squeaks.

The brunette behind the register lets her eyes wander over to where her friend was looking. Sure enough, outside the front of the shop looked a very pissed off blond boy. He’s been a regular customer for a while now and a very dedicated one at that, sometimes leaving the store with 4 or 5 bears. He looked the same every time he showed up, a sneer on his face, a purple shirt with some random letters on it (their coworker Ollie seems to think that the first two letters stand for ‘Stupid Person’), and for some reason he always decides to wear a bedsheet around his body, like some kind of Roman emperor. Rian made that joke to his face once and it didn’t go over well - kept talking about auguries whatever they were.

Kalaya and Rian just stood and watched as he stormed over to the bins full of empty bear bases. He picks 4 at random (a brown bear, a frog, a pale blue rabbit and a pikachu) and stalks over to the stuffing machine.

Rian sends Kalaya a pleading look as she slowly walks over to the customer. “Hello, may I interest you in some music or a phrase to go inside your bear companion?” She knew the answer would be no, it’s always a no, but their job dictates that they need to ask everybody. The blond boy just glares at her. He fills up the bears with exceptional speed and if he didn’t freak all the employees out they would be tempted to offer him a job.

After sewing up the back he skips over the clothes altogether and walks straight up to the till. Silently, as to not draw his ire, Kalaya scans all 4 stuffed animals. “Th-That’ll be $100”. He opens a pouch on his waist, tied to his bedsheet with a cord, and hands her the money. She pops open the register and then hands him the bag with his purchase inside “Thank you for your business”. He grumbles in return and stalks out of the shop.

“That guy is so fucking weird” Rian snorts as she shakes her head.

I already had the thought of them being down a pearl by the time they get to the underworld but I never put much thought to Percy’s reaction before seeing this… I don’t think I’m gonna be emotionally prepared to see the tears in Walker’s eyes…

I was thinking about the “four pearls” situation and the payoff just hit me.

The difference is so significant because in the books there is already no hope. We know there are only three pearls and four people. But giving him the hope of saving his mom is a devastating blow because can you imagine how heartbreaking it’s going to be when Percy inevitably loses or breaks the fourth pearl? His reaction? Walker’s acting?

They basically just made it a lot worse for us, y’all 🤡.

Finished Bodies on Netflix and wow! After the initial mindfuck had worn off and I was able to comprehend everything this series was amazing!

I saw it advertised on fb a while ago and was like “mum I have a new series to watch!”

Spoilers for the next bit if you haven’t seen it

Top 3 favourite characters:

• Karl Weissman/Charles Whiteman:

His one liners and general idgaf attitude were just 😚👌🏻 chefs kiss. He did what needed to be done no questions asked. Need to kill this bitch - done. Need to frame this guy - no problem! No fucks were given and I love him for it! Plus his reluctant “adoption” of Esther made me feel all types of emotions. Their back and forth conversation in the police station was hilarious and I really wished they could’ve gone to Inverness together.

• Alfred Hillinghead:

He gave his life just to close this case and not only that he gave his life to spare the only person he could be his true authentic self with! Give me the “gay closeted victorian romance that leads one of them to die just to protect the other” Pain. That is all. He risked everything to try and solve the murder, his family, his reputation, his job and I respect the hell out of him for it! His love story with Henry was tragically beautiful and I love it! Their final goodbye where Alfred tells him to run knowing that he’s actually going to turn himself in - cinema! That final kiss between them hurts me on such an emotional level I actually feel sick when I think about it! Alfred knew that was the last time he’d ever see Henry and he did not hold back!

• Shahara Hasan:

She was on a mission the entire series and did not let anything stop her! Even finding out that the exact same body was found in 1890 and 1941 didn’t dissuade her. She still went “alright wtf that’s weird but it’s still a murder and I’m gonna solve this bitch!” and then she did! No doubt made harder by the fact her boss was in on it… What a badass! Her future self was no slouch either. She really went from “I need to help this kid who clearly has some mental issues” to “fuck this kid - we need to dismantle everything he’s done” and all this whilst suffering the pain of knowing she could probably have prevented Elias from detonating the bomb and killing half a million people including her own son! Damn woman, you dropped this: 👑

Iris gets a honourable mention since the timeline would never have righted itself if she hadn’t sacrificed her life in 2053 to tell Hillinghead what happened and how he can prevent it. Her jumping into The Throat was the catalyst that started the end to Mannix and his weird fucked up timeloop of a life.

Also props to Tom Mothersdale for lying on the floor naked in the exact same position for godknows how long as various people find him. Especially in 1941 with the rain machine pelting him with cold water

I was also thinking up potential ship names for Alfred and Henry and the only 4 I could come up with are:

- Candid Constable

- HillingAshe

- Alfrey

- PhotoCop/PhotoCopper

Idk if any of them are any good but eh 😂 i tried

Stupid thought of the day: The detail I liked in the last episode (1x05) is that, after retrieving Ares' shield, Annabeth is the first one to enter the dinner, carrying it. Not Percy.

Even if Percy did an incredibly good thing by sacrificing himself, Annabeth was the one to get him out of the trap, thanks to her honesty and her self-growth regarding her mother and the Gods. She touched Hephaestus.

She was the hero of this quest and so, she is the one who delivers the shield.

Finally caught up with BBC Ghosts (we watch it as a family and my sisters been away at uni so we waited) and learning Cap and Havers’ names was fun (and by fun I mean absolutely soul crushing!)

But on further reflection if we had known their names beforehand their ship name could’ve potentially been Janthony…

…I will never escape Good Omens! It will haunt (pun only slightly intended) me till the day I die!
