Fallen ― FOUR
w. Rielin ― “A blind angel falls in love with the most fearful devil.”
Warning: Slightly R15 material
GLUTTONY
The blind angel strolled along the harsh lands of hell with her bare feet, her fingers intertwined behind her body. It seemed as if she have visited the abyss numerous times as she expertly maneuvered her way through the cracks on the floor that set ablaze. She hummed a graceful song the devil have never heard before, yet he did not dare to question as he wanted to listen to her voice even for couple more seconds. Her voice slowly drifted apart, alerting that the song has ended as she softly spoke up.
"I wish you can visit the heaven, Elsword. It's really warm and nice there,"
The blind angel could not see the devil's eyes fearing hesitantly.
"I wish as well," he spoke, hint of sorrow lingering in his husky voice.
Yet how could a devil like him cross the gate, how could he even stand the holy light that rejects his sinned soul that cannot even be purified. If only he was a fallen angel, then perhaps he could ask for forgiveness and possibly enter the gates of heaven. Yet undoubtedly, he was a devil- the most feared devil of all. There was no way a being like him could even touch the gate that radiated holy shine. His hands were stained by sins that could not accept the light.
"What was that song you were humming to," the devil asked as the angel turned around toward the direction of his voice, wishing to shake off the negative thoughts. Her violet eyes shaked, her gaze lost for a moment as she could not predict the exact spot he was standing on. The devil forced out a abrupt cough and the angel was able to detect the signal and focus her eyes on him.
"It's a lullaby my mom used to sing for me," she spoke gently. Then with an expression filled with hesitance, she glanced down at the ground- although she could not see such thing. She fidgeted her fingers together, wanting to speak something yet was doubtful. Yet Elsword did not rush her, he merely stood there and waited for her to gape her lips open.
Finally, she spoke-
"I used to have nightmares about the world," she whispered quietly. "What happen if the world is not what I thought it would be, once I gain sight? And could I even gain sight? Do I have to live blind like this- forever?"
Her body was shaking with fear as she continuously thought about her perspective of the world, and how it may not be what she expected. Elsword quietly walked over and carefully embraced her shivering body, warming up her petite, trembling self. He didn't say a word, yet his actions were enough to calm her down.
She let out a rather loud sigh, her breath warming the nape of his neck. And with those puffs of sigh, the devil felt another sin he felt like committing. Every touch of her skin made the devil aroused; he craved her. His movements were hesitant, as if he knew his own actions were a sin, that he should not continue. Yet his hands did not stop. His fingers gently wrapped around the nape of her neck as she let out another shallow breath, slightly surprised by his cold fingers. He slowly gaped his lips open, landing a gentle kiss on her collarbone.
Another puff of breath. He couldn't take it anymore. Rather roughly, his lips quickly matched onto hers as she let out surprised gasp, yet she allowed him, since she craved him as well. She wrapped her arms around his neck as the two slowly laid down on the blazing ground, yet his warmth was hotter than the sparks of fire. It felt like every fingertips on her skin felt like electricity running through her veins.
He craved her, she craved him. She was poisoned by his claws, intoxicated by his devilish fangs.

Merry-Go-Round CH 2
“a neverending story” ― written by. Rielin
Her breaths came out heavy, her heart aching with sudden surprise. As a gland of sweat rolled down the temples of her cheeks, she glanced around, panicking. The mysterious male's footprints were still imprinted onto the muddy ground before her, tiny droplets of rain slowly collecting from the corners, creating puddles. With panting breaths, she chased after him, her feet stomping onto each of his footprints that were slowly fading away.
Soon enough, those footprints came to an end in front of a wooden house. In between the tiny cracks of woods, the reeking smell of harsh chemicals drifted out. She couldn't help but squinch her eyebrows together and pinch her nose to minimize the harsh odor that stinged the tip of her nostrils. She walked up to the front door, which was also created with wood. Grass and bushes have overtaken the corners and cracks, the house somewhat resembling a mythical house in an abandoned forest. She carefully knocked three times, the sound of tapping echoing loudly. From the inside, the sound of objects falling down to the ground was heard, as if someone was rushing to reach the front door. Surprised, Aisha took a step back. Then all of a sudden, the door busted open, revealing the same mysterious man with the same silver hair. His dull eyes quickly transitioned into a revealing purple one as it widened, from seeing the sight of Aisha.
"Ai― Aisha?" he stammered in surprise, yet it only left Aisha to be further confused.
"...Yes," she hesitated, puzzled.
"You― you're alive?" he asked once again, his voice shaking.
She nodded, hesitating once again, feeling even more puzzled. She did not question his question, in fact, she would've acted in a similar way. The man saw the tombstone and even left flowers on top. To anyone's eyes, even with her own eyes, she would be considered dead. It's shocking to see her, breathing again, moving again, and talking again.
"Are you a… ghost…?" he asked in disbelief. How shocked he must be, to even ask such a question.
"No… I don't think so," she replied. Even though she couldn't exactly define her current being, she knew for sure, that she was not a ghost.
The male peaked his out the front door, droplets dropping on top of his hair. He glanced around, making sure no one was near the house.
"Let's talk inside," he said as he watched her dampened hair and her clothings soaked with rain. Aisha followed the man inside, the feeling of warmth and coziness drifting toward and surrounding her. The house was somewhat small, filled with various objects. There was multiple beakers filled with colorful chemicals, which was the source of the reeking smell. There was also multiple papers, ripped out from journal books with written words and magic circles that couldn't be comprehended. The entire wall and flooring was made with wood, as if the man himself built the house. Every corner, there was an object. It may seem as if it was messy, yet it was rather welcoming. The male turned the corner of the hallway, which led to the main living room of the house. Aisha followed, until her eyes were automatically fixed onto one of the object. A picture, tiny picture, framed and placed on top of a table.
On the left was the silver haired male, smiling ever so brightly that it didn't even resemble his current self.
On the right was a violet haired female― which resembled Aisha, herself.
"...Is this me?" she asked as she grabbed the corner of the frame.
The male turned around, somewhat regretting the fact that he didn't hide the picture.
"Yeah," he replied hesitantly with a raspy voice almost like a whisper. "It's you, Aisha," he spoke softly, voice filled with despair.
She glanced up, puzzled at his saddened voice. Yet, he has already turned his back away from her vision. Trying to cheer the male up, Aisha gaped her lips and asked carefully,
"Would you mind telling me… about me and… you?" she stammered as she was hesitant. Their relationship seemed somewhat of a careful topic, yet she had to know who she was, and who he was— and he's the only person that can tell her that.
"You… were a magician," he started talking, his husky voice coming out raspier than usual.
"And I wa— am a scientist," he continued, fixing his words mid sentence.
"As you can see from the tombstone earlier… you died," his words drifted away, as if he was whispering.
"So… that's why I'm so confused as why you're… alive?" Aisha could see his pupils shaking as if he too, was confused about her being.
"I don't have any memories, I don't even remember how I died… I only know about myself," she whispered, saddened that she couldn't find the answer she wanted from the male. She glanced up, only to see a hint of devastation within the male's amethyst eyes.
His expression seemed to hold onto so many emotions that she could read, yet she could not read his thoughts— his thoughts of wanting to say that they were once lovers.
Embracing her shivering body with a towel, she gladly accepted a cup of a hot tea the male handed over to her. The soothing scent of herbs gave off a refreshing yet cozy feeling as her cupped hands were immediately warmed. She took a quiet sip, slightly feeling a burning sensation on the tip of her tongue. The male slumped down on the other side of the table, on a worn-down sofa that shed couple of its leather-like material.
"So… what were we doing here? As a scientist and as a magician?" Aisha carefully spoke, wondering about herself and the scientist.
"We investigated about this town," he started, somewhat hesitant. "This town isn't necessarily a normal town as it seems. We spent about a year figuring out how this town works, but we only concluded that time and space is in distortion," he finished off, his words slowly drifting away.
"So I died in the process of investigating the town…," Aisha whispered, gaining hints that could possibly finish the puzzle.
"Yeah… there was a miscalculation from a magic you were wielding…," he said as he suddenly stood up from his seat. Aisha glanced up, her eyes following his movement. He walked over to one of the wooden bookshelves, shifting his finger from paper to paper, finding a worn-out brown book that read 'journal'. He strolled over to Aisha and handed her the unknown book.
"It's your journal," he said sternly. "You wrote all of your findings in there, even right before the moment you died,"
Aisha carefully opened the cover, the scent of old paper drifting up to her nose. She flipped a page, leading to the first day of her investigation. The paper felt rough in texture, it was surprising the journal was still in shape, preciously holding onto each of her past days.
— Day 1 —
We arrived in the mysterious, unnamed town. Every villagers are welcoming and kind, yet there is something off. Couldn't figure out the secret of this town and why there are no travelers here. Was fortunate enough to buy a wooden house for a cheap price, a little worn-down, probably will start cleaning tomorrow.
Aisha read in silence, focusing on her handwritten words, interpreting its meaning. Before she realized, she heard a clicking sound of the door closing, and the male has already left her to be by herself in middle of the living room. She took another sip of the tea, which have gotten lukewarm, yet she did not mind. Her mind was fully focused on the journal in front of her.
She flipped the page.
— Day 2 —
The house is almost finished, which was built using my magic along with Add's engineering skills. It seems my magic works regularly and Add's chemicals are stable and unreactive with the environment, fortunately. Need to buy household items tomorrow, especially a clock— highly needed in this town that is apparently lost in time and space… haven't experienced any strange thing yet.
She flipped another.
— Day 3 —
The house is completely finished. Not the best material but wood is sturdy enough. Went to a nearby store and they had only one clock in stock. Luckily, we were able to buy it… but the owner gave off a strange look… I will go back to the store tomorrow and ask him. Bad news is… we don't know what time it is to even change the time in our clock. Thank god the day is sunny, we were somewhat able to estimate the time based on the location of the sun and the shadows.
Another page.
— Day 4 —
Today is weird… It was sunny yesterday, blazingly sunny. The cicadas were crying all throughout the day yet… it's snowing today. There's about an inch of snow piled upon the ground. It's chilly. I also "tried" to go to the store today. Another weird thing is that I forgot that my destination was the store while going there. It suddenly felt like my memory about the store was erased. Luckily, I bought this journal with me so I read the previous day and I was able to find out where I was going and why I was going. But when I arrived, there was nothing but grass, as if no building was placed there in the first place. Strange, perhaps this is a hint about the town. Weather and missing buildings. I wonder what's next?
It seemed as if the pen drifted off, the ink smearing at the edge. Then as Aisha moved onto the next word, the ink suddenly darkened. It seemed as if the "past" Aisha closed the journal after wondering about what the future could tell, but quickly reopened the book and wrote down once again, not caring about the pen that is holding onto too much ink.
The clock handles are gone.

Fallen ― THREE
w. Rielin ― “A blind angel falls in love with the most fearful devil.”
The lonesome devil wandered around the abyss of hell, the blazing sparks of fire lighting his darkened path. Days have passed since the angel's last visit and the worried feelings of the devil's did not easily fade away. He was constantly thinking about her; did something happen to her, what is preventing her from coming back, has she grown dull of him? Yet her last words still lingered within his ears― "I will come back, please wait for me,". He dearly held onto those words throughout the day, never wanting to forget her soft promise.
If only he can visit the place called heaven. He would often imagine the appearance of heaven; intricate pillars of white holding a giant palace together. Inside, the holy light would shine through the fluffy clouds, bathing the wings of the angels with warmth. Angels―
Angel's wings.
There it was, in front of the devil. The symbolism of purity for angels. Although it was tainted by sins, it still held onto its dear look. The feathers gently shook as the tender shoulder of the angel was crying with fear. A fallen angel.
The devil slowly approached the fallen angel that was recently thrown into the abyss of hell. He wondered, what kind of sin has he performed to be heartlessly thrown upon such vast field surrounded by darkened souls. The fallen angel shivered at the sight of the most fearful devil standing in front of him, his expression cold as ever. The devil simply did not care about the feared fallen angel's existence, thus he was ready to take his leave when he realized the feathers' movements. With the angel's jerky movements, the feathers slowly drifted to and fro. The movement somewhat seemed to be mocking the devil as his facial expression seemed more irritated.
Such pretty wings, how depressing it would be if it was gone…
Demonic thoughts started to overtake the devil's moral soul; his old habits of destroying one's soul slowly creeping upon him once again. The devil revealed his sharp fangs, his keen talons appearing under his skin, and the devilish wings that sprouted from his back slowly opened, creating a harsh wind to swirl around. The fallen angel let out a squeak, even more afraid as the devil showed his true appearance.
Within a mere second, a desperate plea filled with unavoidable agony echoed throughout the ravaged area, only to be absorbed by the void. The stenched blood creeped along the cracks of the scorching earth and the feathers that no longer glowed with innocence was heartlessly thrown into the ignited lava.
The devil looked down at his hands, it was stained by innocent blood once again due to sudden greed that overtook his soul. The sight of seeing another angel that wasn't Aisha within his territory angered him, because of his controllable greed. He let out a sigh, for he thought he would be able to slowly change and prove his innocence, and perhaps… he could become an angel. What an ignorant thought. A devil will always be the devil, and his disturbed sins can never be purified.
With his shoulders slumped, the depressed devil made his way toward the gate as if it was a habit. His gaze was fixed on the ignited ground before him as his fingers lazily swung across the air. The other devils and fallen angels stared at him in surprise, as they never saw 'the most feared devil' in such a vulnerable position. His head was always held high, his gaze sharp and cold, and his demonic wings were fully spreaded into the thin air.
Nonetheless, the devil's usual blackened aura was nowhere to be found. The thought of ripping the angelic wings out of the innocent's flesh constantly haunted his mind, creating nightmare within reality. Prior to meeting Aisha, he never bothered to think about other's pain and despair. Yet Aisha made him feel unfamiliar, yet warmful and experience morality. Soon enough, the devil reached the gate. Lazily, he slumped down and rested his back on the cold surface of the gate as he let out another sigh.
How long have time has passed? Time was a mere illusion created by mortal beings that cannot be trusted, as the devil did not believe in such concept, yet he could not help but feel constant emptiness and loneliness. His eyelids slowly covered and hid the bloody crimson orbs of his as the devil was about to fall asleep. However, it quickly revealed itself as the gate creaked open. The devil stood up, excitement shining in his eyes at the thought of the angel visiting.
Aisha, the blind angel opened up the gate once again to see the devil of her life.
"El- elsword?" she carefully spoke out, her high-pitched voice echoing into the abyss of hell. She wasn't sure whether the devil was in front of the gate or not.
"I'm here, Aisha," the demon-like town was nowhere to be found within his voice. It was rather filled with softness and care as he welcomed the the blind angel.
A petite smile was painted across Aisha's lips as she gently walked toward the source of the voice. Although her violet eyes were dull and empty, all of the negative thoughts that haunted the devil's mind disappeared as soon as he saw those holy lavender. He slowly reached out to her and carefully embraced her petite body, the feeling of warmth and coziness surrounding his body- a feeling that was unfamiliar yet a feeling he did not despise.

365 Degrees― CH. 8
“completing the circle” written by. Rielin
bgm Twice - Dance the Night Away | DooPiano
WHAT. Eve thought is disbelief. Elsword likes me… back?
"I took up all of my courage to confess to you and you're gonna just stand there?" Elsword said with hint of frustration and embarrassment, yet Eve was too stunned to even reply back. She stood there as she was trying to complete the puzzle pieces together. Surely Elsword was a friendly person that seemed to get along with almost everyone. Eve simply thought he just saw her as a friend and possibly thought that he acts in such way to everyone else. Then she reflected back to the day where she glimpsed Aisha and Elsword laughing with one another, as if it was a part of a puzzle piece. She remembered his face, laughing with such a warm smile.
"Then… the time you were with Aisha… in front of my lecture room…," Eve asked cautiously.
"Who the hell is Aisha?" yet Elsword didn't even know her name.
"The girl with purple hair…?" Eve said with care as she made a twisting motion with her finger next to her hair.
"Oh that girl. Yeah we were talking about YOU the entire time," he said with an emphasis.
He warmly smiled because he was talking about me…? She thought to herself as she felt the heat rising up to her cheeks. She didn't care whether her face will turn red or not.
"T-then! At the food court! You never asked anything about me," her voice rose in sound, almost cracking at the end due to excitement.
"Y-yeah, I was too shy to even come up with a simple question to ask you. All I could do was answer yours, I still regret that," he said, stuttering his words.
"...Hahaha," Eve couldn't help but let out a laughter. Elsword glanced up, his cheeks still flushing a pink hue. Her golden eyes were shaped into a crescent-shape and her smile was wide and radiant; it was a smile he have never seen before. He lets out a smile as well at the sight of her. Then in the corner of her eyes, he glimpsed a droplet of a tear.
"Wait, why are you crying?!" He asked with panic, wondering if he was the cause for her tears.
"I'm so happy," she replied with no hint of embarrassment and with no hint of nervousness. It was a new side of Eve.
"I like you too, Elsword,"
Eve's Place | 11:20 AM
"What? Why am I saved as just 'Elsword'?!" Elsword shouted with hint of irritation that lingered in his sarcastic tone. Eve was simply scrolling down her social media when Elsword decided to lean on her shoulder and glimpse over her screen. He constantly asked her saying, 'What am I saved as?'. Thus, Eve displayed her contact information of Elsword, only to have him disappointed about how he is saved as.
"W- what am I saved in your contacts?" Eve asked, her voice coming out shaky as she was nervous about having Elsword so close to her. After hearing her words, Elsword took out his phone from his pockets and displayed his contact information for Eve. Her name was surrounded by heart emojis, which automatically made Eve's cheeks flush with pink hue.
"Hmph," Elsword said as he locked his phone after showing her his contact information.
"F-fine, I'll change," Eve said, as she was somewhat guilty for leaving her own boyfriend's contact information with simply just his name.
It has been a week since Elsword and Eve confessed to one another and started going out. Because Elsword was Eve's first boyfriend, she was nervous and somewhat hesitant whenever he was near her. Yet it seemed like he understood, as he never pushed Eve off of her limits. Eve would often wonder, how is he not even slightly shy about being so affectionate? However she would always see that his ears were extremely red, assuming he too, is nervous about being around with her.
"There, are you happy?" Eve asked as she displayed her contact of Elsword, his name surrounded by various heart emojis.
"Heh…," Elsword smiled like a little child at the sight of his contact, as if he was finally satisfied.
Then at that moment, Eve received a text message as her phone vibrated with a notification displaying on the home screen. Elsword clearly heard the sound, yet he didn't even give a single glance at the screen. Normally, Eve would have assumed he would automatically ask, 'Who is it?' yet it seemed as if Elsword was understanding her privacy.
But the message was from no other, than Aisha herself.
[LUNCH.] The message stated.
"Oh yeah! I have to buy Aisha lunch!" Eve exclaimed, as she felt extreme guilt of forgetting her plan with Aisha. Not only that, but she owed her friend lunch. Eve glanced down at Elsword, who was still resting his head against her shoulder. He glanced up as well at the sound of Eve's voice, only to have his face just mere inches away from Eve's.
"S-sorry," Elsword quickly apologized as he glimpsed down, realizing the close distance between the two. Eve let out a silent chuckle at his reactions as she replied back to Aisha's text.
Then her thumbs came to a halt as she looked over at Elsword again, saying,
"We haven't eaten lunch either… do you want to go eat together?" She asked carefully.
"But we're broke," Elsword replied back simply as he unlocked his phone.
"Ah right…," Eve drifted off with a blank face. Ever since they started to go out, they've been eating all three daily meals together. Because of their schedule always conflicting with one another, it only worked if they ate at the campus food court or at some other restaurant. Due to spending money on food in such way, the two were completely broke.
I don't get paid until I send the next chapter…, Eve thought to herself as she reflected back to the story she's been working on.
"Oh! Then should we invite her over? And make food…?" Eve questioned.
"Ask Aisha, and is she okay with third-wheeling," Elsword asked as he laughed. Eve came to another shock, finally realizing she haven't even asked Aisha whether if it was alright for her to eat with Elsword. Moreover, Eve will be cooking for her. Eve quickly unlocked her phone and texted to Aisha, and within mere seconds, her friend replied back.
[Sure. I'm omw,]
"Oh, she's coming right now!" Eve said as she quickly stood up. She glanced around, realizing how much of a mess her place was. She glimpsed down at the sight of Elsword who was lazily lying around the carpet, playing mobile games on his phone.
"Stand up!" She shouted.
Eve's Place | 12:00 PM
"Wow… I can't believe it," a petite female murmured under her breath out of shock. Eve glanced back to see Aisha, who was mumbling by herself as if she was casting a magical spell.
"What?" Eve asked with curiosity as she whipped out a spoon from one of her kitchen cabinets.
"FINALLY, MY EVE GOT A BOYFRIEND!" Aisha shouted, her face smiling with joy as if she, herself got a boyfriend.
"A-Aisha!" Eve said, flustered by Aisha's words when Elsword was standing right next to Eve. She quickly glimpsed over to Elsword, who was giving her a mischievous smile.
"I know right, SHOCKING," Elsword played along, putting his fingers on top of his gaped mouth. Eve let out a sigh as the two continued to tease Eve.
"Hey Elsword, you should introduce me to one of your friends, eh?" Aisha said to Elsword as she winked in a sarcastic way. "A good one, I prefer,"
Eve glanced to see Elsword's reaction who was lost in his own thoughts as if he was thinking about his friends and who would go well with Aisha.
"Sorry, all of my friends deserve better than you," Elsword replied as he shrugged, casually opening a mini-sized chocolate bar from Eve's cabinet.
"W-wait, that's my chocolate," Eve stuttered, it was a chocolate she was saving to eat later.
"I'll buy you a box," Elsword replied back without hesitation as if he was speaking the truth. Eve couldn't help but blush a pink hue at his words.
"EVE BREAK UP WITH HIM!" Aisha shouted furiously.
"HUH," Eve said, shockingly.
Soon enough, the meal was prepared as it was freshly served on top of the wooden table Eve bought from a thrift store years ago.
"Thanks for the meal~!" Aisha excitedly squealed, clapping her hands together. The three quickly devoured their meal in an instance, sharing untold conversation about one another. Before Eve realized, the dishes were sparkling, reflecting the light hanging above, with no hint of leftover piece to be found. As Aisha gathered her sweater and her purse as she was saying farewell, she quickly leaned over to Eve, who was standing by the door, ready to say her goodbyes.
"You guys look so cute together, I'm so happy for you Eve," she whispered under her breath, gleaming a hint of a proud smile as she gazed at the blushing female.
"Thanks," she replied back, swiftly turning back to see her boyfriend cleaning up the dishes. Aisha let out another chuckle before finally saying her farewell.
"Finally the witch is gone," Elsword said under his breath with a sarcastic tone, but Eve couldn't help but let out a laugh. As Elsword continued to wash the dishes, Eve sat down and opened her laptop, efficiently opening up her word document filled with her imagination. As she unwillingly wandered off to her dreamland- her fingers swiftly typing each keys of letters, the words flew down the document without hesitation.
"Is this an essay," her creation was quickly disturbed by the husky voice whispering near her ear. She felt the goosebumps rising under her skin due to surprise, yet she did not quite hate the sensation.
"N-no, I'm actually working on a story," Eve said, slightly hesitant as the only person that knew about her story was Aisha.
"Oh, you're an author! That's amazing, Eve," Elsword exclaimed excitedly, which made Eve rather confused; as she knew Elsword isn't quite the type who enjoys reading- any kind of books, yet why was he so amazed?
"It's nothing actually," she let out a tiny chuckle, as she was somewhat embarrassed as he continued to flatter her.
"I hope I'm the first person to read your story," Elsword let out a warmful smile. He was telling his true feelings.
"I hope so too…," she whispered as her cheeks flushed a pink hue.
"Then it's a promise,"
11:13AM
The silver haired female stretched her arms in the air as she yawned, letting off her exhaustion. She glanced at the white fluorescent screen in front of her; she was rather proud that she ended up writing more than one thousand words within one day.
"Are you tired?" Elsword asked from across the room. He too, was also on his own word document- writing a research paper. But Eve assumed, he caught her actions of stretching and yawning with the corners of his eyes.
"Yeah," Eve replied without thinking, as her body alerted her that she was indeed, exhausted.
"Alright, I should leave. If you need me, just come next door," Elsword laughed playfully.
"Oh… okay," Eve said hesitantly, as she didn't quite want him to leave. She wanted to spend her entire night with him, whether if it was just working on their own story or paper- just spending her time with him was enjoyable. But she couldn't bear to bring the words out of her throat, perhaps she hasn't quite opened up entirely- to Elsword.
"Good night, Els," Eve said as she followed the male to the door, saying her farewell. Yet that was not the case for Elsword. He swiftly turned around and gently ran his finger on her silvery strands, placing his palm on the backside of her head. He gave a little push, effectively making the female lean toward him. He leaned in as well, and gave a little peck on her lips with a flirty smile-
"Night, Eve," he whispered, then closed the door behind him.
The warmth of his fingers seemed to remain on top of her skin, never wanting to drift into the air. She blushed, reminiscing back to the moment that occured just mere seconds ago.
It felt like a dreamland, it felt like she was the protagonist of her own story.
note:

Merry-Go-Round CH 1
“a neverending story” ― written by. Rielin
Violet eyelashes fluttered, revealing an amethyst-colored orbs that was hiding underneath. She frowned, squinching her eyebrows together as her headache irritated her deeply. She blinked multiple times, trying to clear her blurry vision. Slowly, everything became clear. She glanced down, there was overgrown grass tingling her skin underneath. She glanced up, bushes have grown through the tiny little cracks of bricks. She glanced forward, only to see even more greens that were soaking up rain falling down from the sky. She came to a realization that she was underneath an abandoned bridge in middle of an unvisited forest. She stood up and cautiously walked into the open field, ignoring the sensation of droplets of rain landing on top of her skin. A gentle thunder roared from afar.
Where was I? Yet the only memories she had was herself; her name, her birthdate, her physical features, and the language she spoke. Has she forgotten everything? Yet what was the idea of even forgetting something? Nothing made sense.
She was lost in her thoughts, when suddenly the sound of feet stomping down onto the muddy grass was heard, which was coming closer and closer. Instinctively, she hid herself behind a bush. She could barely make out the source of the noise as she peaked through the tiny gaps in between the leaves. A silver-haired male stood, fairly tall and wearing a black suit. She could barely distinguish his features from her view. He held onto flowers, which was poorly tied with a ribbon. He carefully placed them down on top of a tombstone.
Wait― tombstone? How come she have never seen that tombstone before? It was placed near the bridge, so close to where she woke up, yet how did she not catch it?
The unknown male lets out a rather depressing sigh. He glanced down at the tombstone for a while, soaking up the rain droplets. His neat suit was slowly deteriorating in shape and his silky silver hair was quickly dampened. With another sigh, he quickly turned around and walked away, his footsteps slowly disappearing within the rain.
As soon as he was somewhat far away, she stood up and carefully tiptoed her way through the grass and came to a halt in front of the tombstone, only to have her eyes widen with surprise.
Aisha Landlar
December 27th XXX - ?
It was her name. It was her birthdate. It was her tombstone. She died. Yet she is alive.
author's note:
hehe hello! I just came up with this storyline like 30 minutes ago cause I couldn't sleep wooooooo! I managed to come up with an entire plot, so the ending is already planned!
So sorry for this shortass chapter that's more like a prologue, but isn't even a prologue, but an actual chapter! LOL it's like 400 words long hahaha
As you may have figured it out, this story is Add x Aisha, more likely Mad Paradox x Metamorphy since it has something to do with time and space. More will be explained in the next chapter!
I've written so many chapter ones for a lot of stories but I don't have enough effort to continue writing them ughghhghhghg Hopefully I actually finish this one! Mainly because I love the title ;)
Hope you guys look forward to more c:

Fallen ― TWO
w. Rielin ― “A blind angel falls in love with the most fearful devil.”
LUST
“Are you not feeling well, my dear Aisha?” the pitiful mother spoke with shaken voice, as she feared of her blind daughter would dash away once again. With her gentle fingertips, she stroke down the silky violet strands of the angel.
“I am fine, mother,” she replied, for that was a sin for lying. Such a displeasure, such a forbidden act by an angel that is supposed to represent innocence and purity. Much to her displeasure, she was feeling abnormal.  She felt such a strange sensation within her soul. She was put in misery as she craved for a warm touch from the ‘fallen angel’ she met couple days ago. Such a corrupted thought, such a corrupted act, yet she could not stop thinking about him. His existence constantly lingered in her mind, never to be erased.
The blind angel stood up and slowly walked over to the coldness, the warm embrace of her mother disappearing into the thin air. The mother simply thought her daughter needed time on her own, to reflect about whatever is causing her trouble. However that was not the case of the blind angel. She needed to see him, to satisfy whatever the sensation she was feeling. As the pleasant embrace of her mother completely diminished from under her skin, she carefully crawled on the floor, waiting for the prickly thorns she felt the other day.
“Ouch…!” she yelped as her fragile fingers grabbed onto rosey thorns. She felt jabbed pain in every corner of her fingers and the stench of blood soon diffused into her nostrils. She stood up and with cautious movement, she stepped forward. It was painful, indeed, yet she was smiling. She did not care about the bloody feet that stabbed into her skin, for all she cared about― was to hear his voice, to feel his gentle touch. She gently placed the palm of her hand in front of her, feeling a rather dusty, ancient gate. The gate that was surrounded by such beautiful, yet dangerous roses. The gate to him.
Should I enter... ? She thought as she hesitated. Yet, the thought of experiencing through the agony of thorns stabbing into her skin to accomplish nothing, that did not sound so wiseful. She forced the gate open, the crisp air welcoming her in.
She simply thought it was a gate that separated the heaven and the place for fallen angels. She did not know then. If she did, she might have stopped then. It is too late now. For she have entered hell for the second time.
“I thought I told you, you don’t belong here,” the husky voice spoke. It was the voice that haunted her dreams, it was the voice she deeply craved for days. It was him. Was he waiting for her in front of the gate? She does not know. She did not need to know. Because he was in front of her and that is all she cared about. She met the fallen angel.
At that moment, sudden lust and greed overtook the devil as he smiled, displaying his demonic fangs. He roughly grabbed her wrist and pulled her in, embracing her within his arms. The gate that connects the heaven and hell closed with a loud thud. The warmful sensation of her skin, the violet scent lingering from her luscious strands, the petite body that seemed ever so small in his arms― it was what he craved for. His heart started to pound rapidly as he felt her shallow breaths on his neck. He felt more and more excitement, yet he had to control himself. She was too pure, she was too innocent, to be stained from his bloody fingers. He have murdered thousands, he have cursed millions, yet he could not do that to her. He could not tell her. Because he have fallen for her.
She felt the sensation of his hands gripping onto her wrist and pull her in, however, although it was forceful, it did not hurt. He was gentle with her. Then she plowed her face into something hard, something that was warm. Until she felt his arms embracing her body into his chest. He was hugging her. She felt her cheeks starting to flush, she was embarrassed, she was nervous. But she did not hate it, in fact, she wished the time never ended. His embrace was warm and gentle, yet it felt different from her mother’s embrace. While her mother’s embrace was filled with such pure love and gentle touches… his embrace was rather poisonous. Yet it was addicting.
Slowly, the devil released her, his warm embrace disappearing. The angel wondered what kind of expression he had on his face, however, at this moment― her blindness would be considered a gift. Because the devil’s expression did not even resemble the most fearful devil of hell, but only a mere soul in love. If she have seen such face, perhaps she would forever be stained by his being and will be unable to return back to heaven.
The blind angel placed her hand in the thin air, her fingers lost in the void. Until she felt a soft and warm sensation on her wrist and her fingertips. The devil gently pulled her wrist so that her fingers can feel his face. Even without words, even without sight, he understood her. She ran her fingers from the corners of his jawline to the carvings of his nose bridge. His long eyelashes tickled her fingers as she softly brushed her skin against his. She imagined how he would look like, from his high nose bridge, sharp jawline, long eyelashes, his soft skin― she visualized his appearance in her mind. The mind that was pitch-black, filled with nothing but void― light was slowly appearing.
Fallen angel.
She let out a gasp as she revolted, pulling her fingers closer to her body. She cannot further continue this. The angel cannot fall in love with a fallen angel; because he is a sin, and falling in love with him is a sin as well.
“What’s wrong,” his voice softly spoke, the voice that she cannot forget, the voice that is too addicting.
Yet he was the devil. It did not matter if he committed sin, he can do whatever he pleases. However, he knew that he too, should not further continue such relationship with an angel. The blind angel was too pure, she was too innocent. She have never seen the demonic side of the world, she have never seen him. His beastly fangs, his devilish horns, his wicked wings that ripped out from his back. He have dirtied his hands with countless amounts of blood to even touch her holy self.
“I― I have to go,” the angel hesitantly said.
The demon felt wrath building inside of him as he frowned with irritation. He scrunched his teeth, revealing his sharp fangs. His demonic wings raised up in the air. Why did she wanted to leave him? For sure, she have fallen in love as well. She walked into the gate of hell so she could see him. Yet why― does she want to―,
The hell are you doing, Elsword, the devil thought to himself. The anger slowly diminished as sighed. He covered his fangs and the wings slowly fell back down upon the ground. He fell in love with her innocence― he must not ruin such purity.
Without a word, he embraced the petite female within his arms once again and swinged his cloak, leading her back to the gate that connects heaven and hell. He released her from his arms as he stepped back, waiting for her to leave. The devil knew, that this would be the last time he would see her. Yet how he wished, he could see her countless more times. If only he was an angel, if only he was pure, he could be next to her.
The angel hesitated in front of the gate. She felt a cozy, soft sensation gently wrapping herself from her back, trying to return her into the heaven― where she belongs. Yet she felt guilt, she felt as if she have committed a sin to Elsword. She is the one who walked into hell to see him, yet she is the one who will be walking out of the hell to avoid him. Even though she could not see his expression, she felt aura of despair, disappointment lingering from him.
Just don’t get caught.
She let out a gasp. Was that the devil inside of her own being? The demonic side of the world was not in front of her, but inside of her. She fidgeted her fingers, and the devil in front of her quickly caught on.
“Are you okay?” he whispered. Why did he have to talk at this moment? Why does he have such a husky, yet such a sweet voice? She wanted him to speak more, she wanted him to speak only to her. If she cannot see, she can hear. If she cannot see, she can touch. She stepped forward and placed her hand on top of his face, gently stroking his soft skin.
“I will come back, please wait for me,” she whispered as she leaned over, matching her lips against his. And with that, she opened the gate and returned back to heaven, her fingers stained with sin.
Lust have overtaken her, she wants him.
The devil stood, his lips gaped as his fangs peeked from the gap. His ears were flushing a pink hue as his gaze was fixed on the closed door before him. For sure, he thought she was such an innocent angel, yet she is the one who took the first step to close the distance in between them. He let out a lonely chuckle. How he wished the gate would open already, for he already missed her.
Lust have overtaken him, he wants her.

365 Degrees― CH. 7
“completing the circle” written by. Rielin
bgm ChungHa - Why Don’t You Know Piano | DooPiano
In front of Eve’s lecture room | 3:10 PM
“My god… is she over yet?” a petite female with violet hair mumbled under her breath as she checked the time displayed on her wrist watch. Aisha, Eve’s friend, have been waiting for minutes for Eve to finish her class. Prior to Eve’s class, they planned to go grab a lunch since Aisha’s exams were over and she wanted to give herself a treat for finishing the exams successfully. Aisha lifted her head up from her watch and glanced two males walking near her. It looked like they were waiting for the class to finish as well.
One of the male, who had blonde hair and cerulean eyes opened his lips to start up a conversation with his fellow friend, another male with crimson colored hair and eyes.
“Why aren’t you having a party this weekend?” he spoke.
“Oh… I don’t think my neighbor likes it,” his friend replied as he drifted his sentence off, gazing over to the door that will possibly open in another four minutes to release mass amounts of students.
“Wow, now you’re actually thinking about people around you, Els,” the blonde male chuckled sarcastically.
“Oops, I didn’t know. I thought no one lived there,” his friend replied.
“Does he go here?” the blonde male asked. Aisha assumed, by ‘here’, he meant this exact campus.
“Yeah, it’s a she,” the crimson haired male replied as he gazed down at his phone.
“What’s her name?” the blonde male asked with a hint of flirtiness within his tone, as he wanted to tease his friend.
“Eve. And don’t even think about it,” his friend replied, glancing up away from his phone to meet the cerulean eyes of his friend. The blonde male winced his eyebrows with confusion, as his friend was suddenly serious for some reason.
“Eve? Silver hair?” Aisha walked closer as she questioned the male with crimson hair.
“Yeah. You know her?” he replied.
“Duh! She’s my best friend,” she chuckled as she replied. “But yeah, she did complain about you partying too loud and too often,” she continued with a sarcastic tone, leaving Elsword and his friend, Chung laughing along with her.
3:15 PM
With a sigh of relief that the long lecture is finally over, Eve packed her belongings and walked out of the door. The crowd of students blocked her view, but she quickly glimpsed the violet hair and crimson hair peeking its way. Wait, crimson hair? Eve came to a halt in middle of the busy traffic as she needed to confirm her view. People were brushing and passing by against her, murmuring why did she even stop in middle of the way to their friends, yet that wasn’t important to Eve. Eve saw Aisha and Elsword laughing with one another. Surely, Aisha is the type of person that gets along with anyone; she portrays such smile to many people. However, she have never seen Elsword smiling in such warm way, it didn’t even feel like the usual Elsword she’s been hanging out with.
“...,” Eve remained silent as she quickly turned the other way and dashed out of the lecture room using the back door. The breeze outside felt so gentle yet had a hint of autumn scent carrying along the wind.
What am I doing?! Eve thought to herself as she swiftly walked over to the parking garage, where her car was parked. Even without realizing it, tears started to form within the corner of her golden eyes.
Why am I crying? After seeing them two? It’s not like they’re going out, she thought to herself, her mind clouding over the sight of Elsword and Aisha. They looked so perfect with one another, they looked as if they were meant to be. They complimented each other. They weren’t 180 degrees.
As Eve sat down on her car seat, tears started to dry out with the chilly breeze. She let out a shiver and quickly closed the car door, blocking the frosty wind.
I like Elsword, she thought as she finally realized her feelings. She wasn’t sure, she was never confident when it came to love-related issues. Surely, she had a crush once or twice before, but she quickly gave up her feelings as she always thought that she wouldn’t even end up with them, due to her being so different from them. However, Elsword made her finally realize her feelings in such a different way. She didn’t wanted to give upon him. She wanted to be with him. Even seeing her with another person made her heart ache. How would she even feel, if he actually decided to start going out with her best friend?
As Eve drove back to her apartment complex, the sight of the two laughing and talking continuously lingered within her thoughts. How would she even face them now? As she reached her apartment, she received a text message from Aisha, saying
[Where are you, Eve? The class is over but I didn’t see you]
“...,”
Sorry Aisha, Eve thought as she dashed upstairs and unlocked her front door, only to let her tired body sink into the comfy mattress.
Eve’s Place | 8:34 PM
A week have passed since Eve lastly saw Elsword in front of her lecture room. Unintentionally, she have been avoiding Elsword, as she wasn’t quite sure how to even act in front of him now that she realized her own feelings.
Maybe I’ll turn bright red again… like the first day I met him, Eve thought, reflecting back to their first meeting.
Then he would ask me, ‘Fever?’ again, she out a chuckle at her own reminiscence. Then she realized, even back then, he was somewhat worried about her.
Eve reached toward her phone that was turned off awhile ago due to low battery, and she was too lazy to even charge it. She quickly connected to a charger and turned the phone on, staring at the bright screen that welcomed her. Soon enough, the familiar picture of a flower she took months ago appeared as her wallpaper. Then after delay seconds were followed by endless vibrating. It was all notifications, from text messages to social media messages.
Within the past week, Eve have apologized to Aisha for leaving the class without alarming Aisha, who have been waiting for minutes just for Eve. Eve just concluded that there was a personal issue and offered Aisha a lunch some other day. Therefore, the messages she received from Aisha stated texts such as,
[So about that lunch]
[When are you gonna buy me lunch]
[You gon keep ignoring me you’re petty]
[LUNCH]
This girl sure is hungry…, Eve thought to herself as she let out a chuckle. It looked like Aisha texted her every hour judging from the messages she received. As Eve continued to scroll down the messages she received, she came to a halt in front of one name. It was from Elsword.
Because Eve have been avoiding Elsword for the past week, she wasn’t able to have a conversation with him whatsoever, not even through their phone. Eve even wondered, should she be the first one to text him this time? But then again, she didn’t wanted to deal with consequences, such as turning into a bright tomato in front of him. Not again. Furthermore, the unintentional avoidance might cause even more awkwardness with him.
So it was somewhat unexpected when she received a message from Elsword, stating,
[EEEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE]
Just kidding. This was somewhat expected, she thought as she read the text. Eve read the time it was sent, and from calculating from the current time, it was around four hours ago. She scrolled down more, finding more messages sent from Elsword.
[You promised me that you’ll tutor me in Lit. Are you betraying me?]
I never promised you anything…, she thought as she let out a chuckle.
[LET’S GO EAT SOMETHING]
[STOP IGNORING ME]
[I’M GONNA GO EAT BY MYSELF HMPH]
Eve felt somewhat guilty for unintentionally avoiding him. She didn’t mean to ignore his texts since her phone was dead after all, she was willing to reply back to him. Yet it seemed like the last message she received from Elsword was around two hours ago. She wished she could’ve eaten with him, yet it was too late to even try nevertheless. Thinking about eating automatically made her salivate as if she was a Pavlov’s dog. Then her stomach growled. She realized she didn’t even eat lunch, but a light snack. She walked over to her fridge, only to find a yogurt and milk. She wondered whether if she should eat cereal or something, but there was also dinner to be worried about. She decided to go grocery shopping as she slipped into a oversized jacket.
She unlocked the front door and walked out, only to be taken by surprise that Elsword too, was unlocking his front door. Except it seemed like he spent time outdoors and was just about to walk into his apartment. Her golden eyes matched into his crimson ones, it was an unexpected meeting. She wasn’t even prepared to see Elsword right after unintentionally ignoring his texts. He seemed somewhat irritated and annoyed judging from the messages he sent.
“EVE!” he spoke, his voice excited as if he was a lost, little child who just found his mother.
Eve stared at him with widened eyes. She expected him to be angry or would simply ignore her, yet there he was, acting as if nothing happened. How could he be so kind and tender to someone who avoided him for a week? Why was he nice to her first of all? She’s just a person that lives next door; they don’t have any similarities, she’s not even entertaining enough, yet why does he want to spend his time with her? It may be easy for Elsword to befriend someone, yet it was a difficult task for Eve. She couldn’t easily trust someone as she was alway so shy about meeting someone new.
All kinds of emotion started to swirl up inside of Eve, ready to be exploded any second. She held her head down to avoid the compassionate gaze of Elsword’s that just made her feel more and more guilty.
“Eve, are you oka-” Elsword gaped his lips, breaking the silence that lingered in the air.
“Leave me alone!” Eve shouted, releasing the stirred emotions within a matter of second. She quickly widened eyes, for she was confused why she even yelled at Elsword in the first place.
Why did I yell at him? He haven’t done anything wrong. What is wrong with you, Eve?! Apologize to him right now! She furiously shouted within her mind, realizing her mistake. Her body was acting on its own, contrasting her own mind.
Another silence lingered in the air. Eve wasn’t able to lift her head up to look at Elsword in the eyes, she was too afraid to show her tears to him. It wouldn’t be surprising if Elsword just walks into his apartment and leave Eve like this. In fact, that’s what Eve would’ve done if she was in his place. Yet that wasn’t the case. She didn’t hear a door knob clicking, footsteps fading away, he was still here.
“No, Eve,” his husky voice came out firm, his sarcastical and playful voice nowhere to be found.
Eve glanced up, meeting her teary eyes with his stern ones.
“What…?” her voice came out as if it was a whisper, shaking with shock.
Then unexpectedly, Elsword lowered his face down as his shoulders started to slightly shake.
Is he… laughing? She thought as she watched the male trying to hide his smile.
Elsword glanced up, biting his lips to hide his smile, yet Eve could clearly tell he was smiling. Then he started to cover up his face with his hands, yet Eve could detect his ears that were already brightly red. It was like the day when they met, except it was Elsword who was embarrassed.
“Because I like you…,” he whispered, revealing his smiling crimson eyes hiding in between his fingers.

Artificial Flower― CH. 10
w. Rielin to never fade; only to live.
“Behind the flashiness of an eternal flower petal, there’s a liar who has never bloomed nor withered.” -Eddy Kim.
BGM BTS - Blood Sweat and Tears Piano Cover by DooPiano (Minor Version)
Another year passed. Another, sickening year rotting in misery and depression grasped within your bloody hands.
White walls, white ceiling, white floors― 'white' is the only color that surrounds me, that traps me within. White resembles purity, does it not? Pathetically, I am not. I have been stained by the blood of the innocent, wicked by unforgetting lies. I am placed inside such purity, slowly intoxicating the innocence. I am dying, I am constantly choked by the cruel truth slipping out of his damned mouth. Please save me from this hell that I am drowning from. I cannot take it anymore.
Echoing footsteps from afar slowly increase in decibel. Suddenly, it disappears after a loud clap. Silence. The only thing I can hear is my heart constantly beating. He's here.
The door opens, the revolting smell of medicine enters in, followed by the person who I… can't dare to despise. Why can't I hate him? Because he looks like Eid? No. Because I have loved him once, and that love won't dare to fade away, it's like a curse being placed on me. It's like as if a flower bloomed inside of my heart because of him, yet the thorns rooted from pieces me through, constantly bleeding me out. And did I not, make a promise? That I would never leave him. Perhaps that was the promise I meant to you, Eid. Perhaps… maybe, just at least for a minute… that I can see you through his eyes.
"Eve!"
That addicting husky voice filled with joy echoes into this compact room. Before my eyes is the silver haired male, rather tall and dressed neatly in a suit. I look down to his right hand, he's gripping onto an expensive box of chocolate. The same, damned chocolate.
"I know you like chocolates, so I decided to buy them,"
He says, with the same damned words. He smiles brightly like a little kid as he sits down in front of the me. His amethyst eyes are shining under the fluorescent hospital light. It's sickening, yet I cannot look away. I'm addicted to you.
"Thanks… Add,"
My voice is weak and raspy, as if I'm dying. But does that matter to you? You don't flicker even one bit. As long as I'm next to you. As long as you're the only person I'm allowed to look at, to talk to.
"I love you, Eve."
I'm like an artificial flower created out of plastic. I don't need water or sunlight to live.
But did you know, Add?
You're like an artificial flower, too. You're fake. You faked an entire life just to become Eid. You don't need my water or my sunlight to live.
And did you know…?
The only real, living flower… was Eid. His smiles, his voice, it was all too real. Eid was Eid, himself.
"I love you, too… Add,"
But people tend to pick the fake flower over the real one. Because real flowers rot and die into nothing, while artificial flowers never fade; only to live.
note:
YAY ARTIFICIAL FLOWER IS COMPLETED! Sorry it took me awhile to post this even though it's such a short chapter. I constantly revised it and finally, it's done! I think some of you expected it to be happy ending, but WHO IS RIELIN WITHOUT A SAD ENDING? Plus I didn't know what I would do with the two characters if I let them be happy lmao...
But I hope you guys enjoyed this story! It was such a difficult story to work with because of the abusive-relationship-topic but I do not romanticize such thing! I was actually inspired by another story I read years ago, which suddenly came into my mind thus I decided to write my own.
I apologize if you found any parts in this story to be offensive!

Fallen ― ONE
w. Rielin ― “A blind angel falls in love with the most fearful devil.”
SLOTH
Scorching surface, blazing with ominous ignition spreaded throughout the endless path. The desperate cries of the forbidden ones echoed throughout the ravaged area, creating a disgusted irritation under the countenance of a devil. He sat proudly on the throne with one of his leg crossed over the other as his head was slightly leaning over the edge of chair. His crimson eyes were dull and empty as he stared down upon the vast void. Dust particles have collected on top of skulls that were decrepit over the years. Lava-like fluid was flowing down through the cracks of the floor, letting off devilish steam. The sinful ones were pleaing with angst, as they deprived any type of food source or water. This was the everyday life in a place called hell. The devil that insolently sat upon the throne, resembling a forceful ruler of the world, was named Elsword; the most fearful devil of all. His immense pure strength overpowered any other devils, and his lack of friendly emotions intimidated many. He was not afraid to slash the life of the one that would deny his being, whether that was a fallen angel or a devil, the ones residing in the deepest realm of hell.
The depicted image of his devilish claws being stained with blood did not excite him anymore, for he have murdered countless beings. The sensation of running his sharp nails did not rush a single pump of adrenaline in his bloodstream. Everything in hell was mundane. The desperate plea, the sound of crunching earth; nothing was amusing for the devil, as each day repeated itself. These days, he would constantly feel sluggish; he was too reluctant to convict another deadly sin, yet he was sloth- himself. He craved for something new, something he have never laid his eyes upon.
"But how is being blind considered a gift, mother?" a worried voice spoke, shaking with hopelessness.
"Aisha," another angelic voice spoke, tickling the blind angel's ears with the sensation of softness. She could almost imagine the gentle features of her mother, the innocence illuminating from her eyes as she would comfort her own daughter. Yet it was a mere imagination.
I cannot see her. I am the blind angel. Tears were glistening under the violet orbs under her blindness, the intensity of her irritation growing within.
"You have been gifted, darling. While the others see the demonic side of the stained world, your eyes will be kept pure and innocent," the blind angel's mother spoke ever so softly as she tried to calm the angered soul of her daughter.
The mother would always remind the blind angel with the same words, yet how ironic it was for her to be told that her blind eyes could only see the purity within the world, when her own eyes were completely stained by absolute darkness.
This is not a gift, this is a sin. With an irritated grunt, the bling angel ignored the reassuring words mother of hers as she dashed away from the heavenly place. She was driven by her raw emotions that were piled upon one another after many years of denying that her blindness was in fact- a sin, not a gift. She felt the sensation of her neck clogging with wrath and sorrow, aren't angels a blessing? Yet why was she in a such uncertain state- not even being able to figure out that her difference was a sin or a gift? Rapid breaths puffed out from her lips, yet was strangled with lack of oxygen. Then the angel stumbled over a sharp object, as she simultaneously rolled down into a path of unknown. Her fragile body was pounded upon something rather heavy, forcing a door-like structure to creak open. The wounded body of hers landed upon a dusted ground as she let out a painful grunt. She smelled the scent of her blood diffusing into the vast air and with quick movements, she grasped her ankle. The sensation of sticky liquid lingered in between her fingers as she realized that her leg was bleeding profusely. Although she was blind, her aspects to recognize the situation was beyond average. The sharp object was possibly a shrubbery with thorns, yet she scented a flower- possibly a rose. It seemed as if she was tripped over the bushes and stumbled across, forcing a heavy door to open. Yet where was she? The air felt immense and somewhat chilly, yet the surface felt blazingly hot.
"What is this…," she quickly revolted as she heard a questioning voices from nearby. There seemed to be a crowd surrounding her vulnerable body, and their voices were filled with curiosity and hunger. They smelled the odor of her blood in the air and with their natural instincts, the crowd rushed over, only to recognize the angel as a food source.
"S― someone please save me!" feeling the danger of getting eaten lurking behind her shadow, she shouted- crying with plea. Was this a sin being pressed against her, for thinking that her blindness was a curse? In such a short moment, she felt immense feelings of guilt and regret, the words of her mother's creating an insignia within herself.
"Oh? An angel in the deepest realm of hell?" a husky voice spoke, gradually getting louder as the angel assuming he was walking towards her. The hungered voices soon diminished into the thin air, as the crowd made a silent pathway for the fearful devil to pass through. He squatted down next to the angel and forcefully grabbed her chin, his barbed claws creating a dense mark on her skin as it digged through. The angel grunted with fear, which was also driven by the painful sensation lingering in her ankle.
"Wh― who are you?" her voice came out shaky, as she was shivering with fear. She did not know where she was, she did not know how she even reached this place, she did not know who she was speaking to. Her thin hairs were standing on the edge of her skin, goosebumps crawling under.
"Who am I," the voice repeated, firm and stoic. It was unhesitant, contrasting her own voice.
"Elsword," he spoke, "So who are you?" he questioned, his menacing voice sending another shiver through her spine.
"A― Aisha," she easily give in, as she did not expect what would happen to her vulnerable being if she denied his fearful question. Although she was blind, she could feel the sensation of sinister aura flowing out of his being. Then he leaned over, as the angel felt his breath on the nape of her neck, creating another row of goosebumps under her skin.
"You're a special one, aren't you," he whispered.
"What― what do you mean?" she asked. For she was not special, but was sinned, as she considered.
""You can't see me, can't you?" he asked as he backed away from her ear to catch the violet eyes of hers. "You're blind," yet his voice remained quiet, unable to be heard by the crowd surrounding the two.
"How did you figure it out…?" she asked hesitantly as she felt the clenchingness of her heart. She did not know who she was speaking to nor the place she is currently in, yet her curse was easily revealed to an unknown.
"You're not looking at me," he said under his breath. "You haven't looked me in the eyes since. You're looking into the faraway," She let out a silent gasp under her breath, how could she reveal her inferiority to an unknown? Ashamed, she her blind orbs glanced down, trying to avoid her faded gaze into the ground. She felt her cheeks flushing with heat, which the devil quickly caught on. He stood superiorly and shouted with displeasement within his husky voice,
"Get lost," his voice was cold and unfaltered. With hesitance, the hungered devils ignored their bloodthirst and walked away from the flesh gushing out fresh blood. As the coveted beasts were forcefully dismissed, it was only the angel and the devil standing nearby in middle of the vast, ravaged hell. Elsword glanced down, the angel remained in a sitting position as she grabbed her wounded ankle, staining her petite fingers with blood. For a second, the devil was driven by raw emotion of ripping even more flesh of hers, wanting to see the scarlet liquid creating a pool under her lifeless body. The crimson eyes revolted, suddenly gaining dizziness. For surely, she was just a mere prey he could hunt upon, yet he did not want to. He have seen countless fallen angels yet their hands are tainted with sins they committed in heaven. But he have never seen an actual angel, a holy being that blessed many innocence. He could not dare to destroy such purity and ruin her blinded life.
"Alright, Aisha," his voice was ever so gentle that it seemed like as if he was a different being. The angel glanced up toward the source of the voice, her violet eyes glistening with clarity.
"You belong in heaven," he whispered. He gently wrapped his arms around her waist, embracing her petite body within his arms. He swayed his black, demonic cloak in the thin air, swirling the wind around. Then the two disappeared, only to reappear in front of a heavenly gate that glowed ever so holy. Aisha felt the painful sensation on her ankle slowly disappearing. Was it because of the sacred light of heaven that cured her scar, or was it because of the male named Elsword, who treated her wound without a word?
He winced at such bright light that was ever so unfamiliar. He does not belong near the gate. He belong in the blood-stained world called hell. He cannot further communicate with the angel named Aisha, for she was too pure and innocent for him. He was afraid of staining her with his demonic soul.
"There is a gate in front of you. Open it and it will lead you back to heaven," he said with a slight hint of sorrowfulness shaking with his voice. He wanted her to stay with her. Yet ironically, the devil had morals. Deeply in himself, he wanted to treasure her within hell, even if it meant trapping her inside. She was someone new, someone he have never seen before. However, he could never force her to stay beside him. She was too pure for his stained self. He had to release her. He simply thought, she was just a mere light that shined upon his mundane life for a split second. However, the angel could tell, the sensation of despair. She could tell, that he did not want her to leave, and instead, stay with her. But she does not know, the person she spoke with, the person who helped her, is the most fearful devil. Because she cannot see his devilish horns, the black clothing stained with blood, the demonic bat-like wings that has been ripped from the bare skin of his back, and the wicked fangs sprouted within his mouth. She did not fear him, because she cannot see him.
"...Thank you, Elsword," she whispered, her holy voice echoing into his mind.
I will not forget you. The fallen angel, Elsword, she thought, concluding that the devil was actually a fallen angel that has been banished from the heaven and instead, resides in hell because of a sin. Because a devil will never help an angel out, they would simply eat the souls of the holy being. And because of that, an angel will never fall in love with a devil.
But because I am blind, I was able to stand in front of you without fearing. But because I am blind, I did not know, that you are the devil.
Yet why did you release me?

Artificial Flower― CH. 9
w. Rielin to never fade; only to live.
“Behind the flashiness of an eternal flower petal, there’s a liar who has never bloomed nor withered.” -Eddy Kim.
bgm Maze - Kim Na Young While You Were Sleeping OST
Hey, Eid. I never said it before, but I always admired you. I always looked up to you. You were my role model. I wanted to be exactly like you. Perhaps there can only be one Eid in the world. Maybe that's why I killed you, so I can overtake the king and wear that crown.
Ever since we were young, we were treated entirely differently. Although we looked exactly the same, our height, our voice, our face- everything, literally, but our personality wasn't. I mean, you were like "the better version" of me, at least that's what our mother said. You were more intelligent, much kinder, much more wiser, and you knew how to do everything; you were simply the definition of perfection. Meanwhile, I wasn't smart enough to be praised by mom. I mean, I did try and did get A's on my exams, but I guess it wasn't enough to be hugged by her. She ignored my presence, instead.
It's alright though, it's okay if you got the spotlight, I didn't mind. I was proud of you as well. Except until… I met her. Sorry brother, but I fell in love in first sight when I saw her. She was your girlfriend though, I shouldn't have, why did you even introduce me to her anyway? But you were in the spotlight, so all I could do was just watch you and her… loving each other from the backstage, where the light doesn't shine.
Then our parents died of sickness. Of course, you got our dad's company, I didn't mind though. You look much more fitting as a CEO than me. You knew how to control the world around you. I didn't.
But you know what I couldn't stand? You being with her. You talking to her, you hugging her, you kissing her, even you being right next to her. Why couldn't I do that? I mean, I loved her as well, even more than you, I knew that for sure. Why couldn't I have at least one thing, brother? Why did you take everything?
Jealousy turned into insanity.
It was a raining day. Didn't you hate the rain? Well, for sure, you would definitely hate the rain after this day- oh wait. You're dead. You can't even hate anything now, can you?
As always, I was standing on the backstage, where the light doesn't shine, so you two couldn't see me. You drop her off at her house, you kiss her goodbye, she goes inside her house, and you get in your car and use the shortcut to come to our house- it was always the same. How did I know? I stalked her, of course. Just to plan this.
The shortcut's real nice, isn't it? It's about 10 minutes shorter than using the main road. But not many people use the shortcut since there aren't any streetlights. I got inside my car as well. I was waiting inside of our house and I knew the exact time when you would be on that shortcut road. I was right. I saw your car on the opposite side of the lane. You despise the rain so much that were quickly trying to wipe away the droplets on your window with your wiper. In fact, you were too focused on that, that you didn't even see my car.
I smiled. My heart was beating so fast, I was sweating, I couldn't wait! I couldn't wait to hold her in my arms instead of yours! Just how petite is she? Just how pretty is she? Just how adorable is she? You wouldn't know, you're dead.
WIth my adrenaline pumping through my veins, I swerved the steering wheel, and there. I crashed my car into yours. Haha, you should've seen the look on your face just when you saw my car lights shining on your face. I bet you saw my face as well, I was laughing hysterically. Good thing you died though, no one would figure out that I'm the one who killed you. It was a risky choice since I could've of died as well, but I was actually concentrated on my driving rather than focusing on wiping away the droplets of rain. Father always told us, Eid, always focus on the road.
I actually broke my ankle from that accident. My car wasn't destroyed too much either, unlike yours. I quickly got out of my car and opened the door that was blocking my reach toward you. I checked your pulse, your heartbeat, your breathing. Yep, you're dead. I did a pretty good job, didn't I? Do you think mother will praise me for doing something right at last? I took your wallet, your phone, all of your belongings and quickly drove off. Of course, I threw my car away. I can't have anyone suspect that I killed you. Oh it's okay though, Chung knows. You know, your secretary? I didn't mean to tell him but he found out by himself. If he spoke about that accident to others, I swore I will kill him. Haha, he was like a little puppy, all scared and trembling, he's pretty entertaining, too.
Everyone figured out that you died of car crash. But my main goal was to actually be you and return to her. So I just told Chung to tell everyone else that Eid didn't actually die, he's in a coma. So I had to stay hidden away from her view for a year. A whole fucking year. I wanted to see her so badly, so you know what I did? I made Chung wear this special type of glasses, it had a tiny camera on it. I made sure he visited her, to make sure she's alright, and so I could see how she was doing. She was in a depression though. It made me worried, but a year passed by. I was stroked to meet her.
I didn't tell her of course, I wanted it to be a surprise. I knocked on her door, and haha, her facial expression was so cute. Her eyes widened, she was trembling in disbelief, tears were starting to form within her eyes, then bam. She hugged me. My dream came true, how small she was in my arms. And you had her all by yourself, brother. You sure are selfish.
After holding her, I realized that only I want to hold her. No one else can hug her. No one else can kiss her. No one else can talk to her, look at her. Because I was her boyfriend. I was Eid.
We moved into a condo, one close to the company. I mean, being a CEO wasn't easy but you left all kinds of steps and tips behind, I guess it was all for you, but thanks, that helped me to actually become you even to the society's eyes.
I guess she loved going outside, she said she loved shopping, watching movies, going to places. But if I allow her to do that while I was at work… others would look at her. They could even talk to her. How could I let them do that to her? Only I can do that. She's mine.
I made sure she never left the house. I didn't know why, but she seemed so depressed. But I can't let her leave. What happen if she leaves ME? What happen if she figures out everything and runs away from me? Even thinking about it brings me nightmares, even to this day.
I locked her in. Surely, she was sad. At first, she tried to fight with me, but it didn't work out. Then she started to give up, she started to become so fragile and weak. I gave her all kinds of presents she would like but she threw them all to the side. She didn't love me anymore. It stinged my heart. But it was okay. As long as she was next to me. As long as I can see her, talk to her, hug her, kiss her… but she didn't wanted to do that with me anymore.
I decided, that I will let her be free and enjoy being outside. As long as I was next to her. As long as I made sure no one looked at her, no one talked to her. Slowly, her eyes started to become vivid, those golden eyes shined like the day she met me.
Then something I couldn't believe happened. She started opening up to me. Took her awhile, but she started to actually look into my eyes. She started to hold a conversation with me. She hugged me. She let me kiss her. She even let me spend the night with her. I couldn't believe that not only her mind loved me, but her body loved me as well. She loved me! Everything was going perfect. I even bought an expensive diamond ring for her, I was going to propose to her. I had everything planned. After work, I was going to take her to a restaurant which I reserved the entire place just for us. It was decorated with her favorite color, her favorite flower, her favorite food, it was everything she would want.
But that day, Chung decided to bring up the accident. I was irritated. Why did he wanted to talk about this today? Should I just kill him? No, it's like he liked Eve or anything. Maybe I should just hire a doctor to tear his tongue out, to rip all of his teeth out just so he could never speak.
But why were you there…? Why were you behind that door, listening to everything?
"Who the fuck are you,"
Why are you angry at me? I'm the person you love, I'm Eid. You were never angry at Eid. I did everything to please you, I am living just to make your life better. I saved you from that depression, didn't I? I made you smile again, I made you happy again. You said you loved me. Wait… you never did. You never said that you loved me. Ha, all of my efforts to become Eid was useless…?
Why?
Everyone loved you, Eid. Why couldn't I just have one… just one person's love? That's all I wanted in my life. Why couldn't she love me? Why, even in the end… she chose you? Did she even know, that whenever she called me 'Eid', it stinged my heart?
She was an artificial flower. You were blooming, yet you never showed me a sign of life. I watered you, placed you on direct sunlight, yet nothing happened. Another petal didn't bloom, another petal didn't die. You're alive to other's eyes, but you're honestly dead. They never fade, only to live. You're an artificial flower, my dear Eve.
note:
This entire chapter is Add talking to Eid and explaining every event! Also shows his very crazy side lmao
But I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! The reason of the title is now explained! Next chapter will be the last chapter and it's fairly short. It's kind of like an epilogue, I'd say. Hope y'all are looking forward to it!

365 Degrees― CH. 6
“completing the circle” written by. Rielin
bgm IU - Secret Garden Piano | DooPiano
"You got good taste in pizza,"
Eve said as she rotated the pizza as she held with her fingers, glancing at every edge.
"I can't be friends with people who like pineapples on pizza," [Pls no offense again lol it's just for humor]
Elsword said and Eve automatically bursted out laughing, which made Elsword smile with hint of amusement, as this was his first time actually hearing Eve's laugh. It was high-pitched, yet so clear. For a split second, Eve thought his ears were red, yet she shook her head as if she saw an illusion instead.
After couple minutes, the two have relaxed a bit as Elsword was leaning down lazily on his bean bag while finishing his homework he has been procrastinating. Eve on the other side was scrolling down social media as she finished the last slice of the pizza.
"Hey Eve, have you taken Intro to Literature?"
Elsword asked as he continued to skim through the large textbook, which he have never even opened before until today.
"Oh no, that's for non-English majors,"
"Oh, okay,"
Elsword replied back with a voice that had hint of disappointment. Eve moved over and glimpsed at the textbook which he was reading. The book consisted of various stories, poems, plays, and etc. She realized the subunit which he was reading was from a play she had read during her freshman year.
"Oh… I did read that play though,"
She said as she scratched the side of her head. Elsword's eyes suddenly glistened with light of hope, a hint of excited smile playing across his lips.
"Oh can you help me?!"
"...I don't see why not,"
She said, her cheeks slightly flushed as she nodded her head in acknowledgment.
How did this happen again…?
The cardboard box was empty, only traces were spilled tomato sauce and vegetables which Elsword have picked them out one by one from his slices. Pieces of papers ripped out of notebook was scattered all over the floor and the textbook was lazily hanging off of the edge of the desk. It's been an hour since Eve started to help Elsword with his assignments, yet she ended up tutoring him the entire lecture. Just how did it end up like this and why was she even tutoring him first of all?
I should get paid for doing this…
She thought to herself as she let out a silent chuckle. Then she realized she was feeling somewhat thirsty, perhaps it was the pizza that caused the dryness within her throat. She stood up and walked over to the kitchen to see if she could find something to drink. Elsword glimpsed over his shoulder to see where she was heading to but quickly returned his gaze over to his book, as he didn't mind Eve digging through his own fridge.
Focusing back on Eve, who was examining the uncleanness of his fridge, silently judged under her breath of how untidy he was. Then she glimpsed a plastic water bottle that was fully filled. She reached forward without a second thought and poured it into a cup of glass. With extremely dried throat, she quickly gulped down, only to come to a halt. She tilted her head in confusion, as the water tasted a bit funny and somewhat unusual. It was a taste which she have never experienced before.
D… does he not even filter his water?
She thought as she glimpsed through his fridge once more. The only 'liquid' she could find was beer other than this weird-tasting water. As she was about to put down the bottle, the dryness within her throat started to thirst her up again. She hesitated for a moment and glanced over to Elsword. She decided to walk over and ask him directly rather than think about whether to drink the water that possibly might've been contaminated.
"Elsword, is this okay to drink?"
Elsword glanced over his shoulder to take a glimpse of the mysterious liquid. Then casually, he replied,
"Yeah,"
Yet Eve did not catch the tiny, playful smirk across his lips when she turned around to pour the drink into the cup of glass.
7:50 PM
"Eve, let's take a break,"
Elsword yelled across the room then let out a laugh,
"Oops, it's only been five minutes since last break,"
He mumbled by himself at his stupidity. Then he realized Eve haven't answered him back and it was awfully quiet. Sudden panic started to crawl under his skin at the thought of something happening to Eve. He quickly got up and walked over to the kitchen with swift movement. There she was, leaning on the fridge that was slightly opened as cold air breezes through. Her head was slumped down, her short strands of hair hanging down and covering her face. Her cup of glass was on the tabletop, small amount of liquid spilled across the granite.
"Eve, what's wrong?!"
Worried, he exclaimed as he dashed over to the female. He cautiously grabbed her by the arm so she doesn't lose her balance. He stopped down, trying to take a glimpse of her face.
"Eve..?"
He carefully asked, and at the sound of his voice calling her name, she came to a realization that he was in front of her. Normally, she would turn red due to embarrassment and step back, yet she didn't. In fact, sniffled. Then out of a sudden, she glanced up. Her cheeks were reddened and her eyes were lazily open, and her movements were rather awkward and slow.
"You!"
She shouted out, taking Elsword by surprise.
"You stop partying!"
Eve shouted once again, and Elsword taken by surprise once again.
"You're too loud! I can't sleep!"
She continued to shout to the thin air with slurred speeches, yet her voice rang loud and clear. As confused as Elsword was, he felt the needed to apologize.
"I- I'm sorry?"
"Grfdnklbnerrghf,"
Eve mumbled some gibberish following Elsword's apology, leaving him unable to properly act.
What am I supposed to do? He thought to himself as he glanced down at the vulnerable female who still remained within his arms, unable to stand up by herself.
"I used to hate you,"
Eve said rather quietly, yet her mind was still elsewhere as her speech drifted off.
"But not anymore, hehehe!"
She said as she glanced up, smiling like a little child with her cheeks reddened. Then within blink of an eye, her head slumped down into Elsword's arms.
"...Thanks?"
He replied with curiosity. Then unexpectedly, he felt a rather warm sensation in his arms. As he glanced down, he couldn't help but wince with disgust as he realized,
Eve puked.
"NO- NO WAIT, EVE!"
He screamed with panic, only to let out a stressful sigh, as he realized that the liquid Eve drank couple minutes ago was not water, but vodka instead. [LMAO]
8:00 AM
"Ugh…," Eve groaned as the sound of her daily alarm rang loudly throughout her room. She reached toward her phone and turned the alarm off, only to throw the device into the other side of the bed.
"Ow!"
HUH.
A husky voice grunted with pain as the sound of her phone landing on top of a human body echoed into Eve's ear. But who was it?
Of course, it was no other than Elsword himself.
I'm not even surprised anymore, Eve thought as she grabbed her phone to check the time. Then she realized, how bad of her condition was. She felt nauseated and her head was ringing with hint of pain. Then she remembered the water-looking substance she drank the night before.
Was that an… alcohol? Was I drunk?! She thought to herself as she placed the palm of her hands on top of her stomach, which felt unusually warm yet was empty. Then she glanced down at Elsword who fell back into sleep. She remembered that she was in Elsword's place while eating pizza with him… then she probably got drunk… then he took her back home? Eve thought to herself as she completed the missing pieces of puzzles together.
Did he take care of me? She thought.
Oh shit, classes. She thought again as she came to a realization that if she continued to just sit around on her bed, she would eventually be late for her classes.
"Wake up, Elsword," She said as she shook the vulnerable male who was moaning with overwhelming laziness.
"Let's go to class,"

Fallen ― Prologue
w. Rielin ― “A blind angel falls in love with the most fearful devil.”
I can feel. Your shallow breaths on my neck and your gentle fingertips softly outlining the edges of my skin. I can hear. Your husky voice echoing into my mind, constantly ringing inside.
I trace down my fingertips on every edge, every carvings on your face. However I cannot see what kind of expression you are making. Are you smiling? Are you crying? You gently grab onto my wrist as I continue to touch the edges of your face. This is the only way for me to imagine how you would look like. This is the only way for me to realize that you are in front of me, sharing your warmth.
This is a sin. I cannot see your beautiful face. This is a gift. For if I saw your face, I would fall even more deeply in love with you.
You are a sin. You are a gift. I should’ve never met you.
Because I am a fallen angel. Because I have fallen for you, Elsword.
note:
Welcome to another ElsxAi story which I should stop with this pairing but I just can't :/ Very very short prologue, but will soon upload ch 1 c:
