OC question of the week: What would history remember Jia Fei for? How would they become famous?

When it comes to the mundy world she would be remembered as a famous editor and for the way she helped spread stories around the world.

When it comes to the Fables: Jia Fei would be remembered for her defiance. Jia has always been someone who has caused a disturbance in the Fable community.

To most Fables Jia is remembered as someone who metaphorically stuck a middle finger up at the higher-ups of Fabletown for years. She's remembered as someone who wished for a simple cake rather than riches or power.

It makes me think that while Jia herself isn't a Fable, she probably ends up living on through the memories and stories of her younger years.

⌨️ + Heads Will Roll

(Context since the main Heads Will Roll story is written : D Jia is Sunny's mother, and this scene takes place when Jia is about 25 and has just moved to New York. She's being questioned by Bigby in regards to what Sunny's father, Emmanuel, had been doing the night of a New Year's Party)

“So you saw him that night?” Mr Wolf asked.  “Well, yes,” Jia confirmed. “We talked for around an hour, I think.” “What exactly did you talk about?” Mr Wolf frowned.  “Animals, for the most part,” Jia shrugged.  “Animals?” Mr Wolf said in a doubtful tone.  Mr Wolf took a drag from his cigarette. Jia tried not to cringe at the smell. She didn't like being too judgmental when it came to smoking tobacco. It was just that it was a bit much when you were trapped in a room with that sticky smell.  “Yes,” Jia smiled bightly. “We were telling each other interesting facts. Like how jumping spiders do a little dance when trying to get the attention of a lady-”  “I get it,” Mr Wolf held out his hand to stop her.  Jia felt her face go warm. She was rambling again.  “So you said you only talked for an hour? Where did Emmanuel go after you two talked?”  “I… well… he said he needed to find his sister,” Jia fiddled with her sleeve. “I was feeling tired afterwards and decided to go back to my apartment. I didn’t see him again after that.”
