Hi! Im thinking of participating in this bang and I was wondering, does the “AU” nature of this Banf encompass crossovers? Like if we wanted to write an AU where say Charmed and Supernatural take place in the same universe? If not that’s cool, I just wanted to make sure I understood the rules correctly 😅

Hey! we’re excited to have you if you decide to participate! And for crossovers, it’s allowed only if the artist/reader doesn’t need any prior knowledge of the other show and if SPN characters are thrown into the universe. i don’t encourage mixing characters because this is an SPN exclusive Bang so any characters from different shows should be background characters only.

A Mini Bang, which is a work with a minimum of 5K words and a banner + 1 piece of art.

A Big Bang, which is a work with a minimum of 15K words and a banner + 2 pieces of art.

Hey everyone! Here it is, the SPN AU Bang. Allows both SPN and RPF, check out the guidelines and FAQ will be posted next week, but here is the gist:

What is the SPN AU Big Bang?

A big bang is an event where an author writes a story for an artist to claim and create art for! In this particular bang, the author’s pieces will be non-canon. This means you could have the characters in a different world: historic AU, college AU, or even a prison AU. or, the characters themselves aren't canon-compliant: Dean is a firefighter, and Charlie is an interior designer, Jared is a Mechanic. Or, lastly, you can change major events on the show: living in the apocalypse world, Croatian takes over, or Mary never dies. For RPF, any world where the actors are doing something different with their occupation works.

Here are some ideas:

Dean is a firefighter, Castiel is an ambulance medic, and they meet on the site of a disaster.

Sam is thrown by one of the angels into an alternate universe where everyone is a vampire. 

Dean and Sam never stop the apocalypse, they deal with the consequences.

Jared is a lawyer, Jensen is his client.

Jared and Jensen film supernatural but instead of 4 years, it’s a 10 year difference; how Jensen deals with trying to be a father figure to the much younger 17-year-old actor.

This Bang features two categories:
