The rare and elusive Sponty art! There isn’t enough cute sexy Astolfo art that doesn’t horribly fetishize or sexualize them. They just want to look cute and hot for their dragon husband😤
Made it for a roleplay account of mine, and I really do not want it being stolen or reposted, so I apologize for the extra obnoxious watermark on this one,,,

Basil recalls Sunny’s past fear of heights and immediately claims top bunk. Sunny is mostly over his fear of heights, but he appreciates it and goes along with it. Doesn’t really matter though, because half the time, Basil ends up cuddling with Sunny in his bunk, or Sunny climbs up to cuddle with Basil in the middle of the night because of a bad dream.
POST TRUE ROUTE SUNNFLOWER(and general OMORI) HEADCANONS NOBODY ASKED FOR BUT IM SHARING ANYWAY(contains spoilers)
When Sunny moves into his new house, the first thing his mom does is surprise him with a new laptop and a cellphone as a moving gift. She was initially horrified to learn Sunny had been injured and hospitalized, but after hearing the circumstance and knowing how much Sunny cared about his friends despite everything, she was more than happy to give him every way possible to stay in touch with them in hopes he wouldn’t shut himself away again. Sunny still hasn’t told her the truth about Mari and isn’t sure if he’ll ever be able to. He still carries that guilt, but doesn’t let it consume him like it did before. He just does what he can to help her and be a better son to her.
Though they’re all still friends, things are a little awkward with Kel, Hero, and Aubrey for a bit after Sunny told them the truth. The one who’s most distant for awhile is Hero, both because of college taking up most of his time and because, well, Mari was the love of his life. He’s been beating himself up for years over her death, and while he ultimately forgives Sunny and doesn’t begrudge him, it still takes time for him to accept the truth of what happened.
The friend he stays closest to is, of course, Basil. Just as they’d always been. Both Basil and Sunny are a little awkward at first as well given everything that happened, and Basil especially feels guilty for injuring Sunny’s eye even though it ended up healing for the most past. Both at first fear the other might not want to be as close as they once were, but before they know it, the two are texting or messaging each other constantly and quickly start to feel almost as close as they were before. They’ve both accepted and moved on from the trauma of Mari’s death, but Basil is still struggling to cope with his grandmother’s passing and sometimes has relapses, though having Sunny to talk to helps him through it. Likewise, having remembered and accepted the truth, Sunny is finally able to open up about his feelings regarding Mari’s death, and both slowly start to heal and feel better having each other to share their feelings with, becoming even closer than before. Sunny still regrets that the two grew so distant, only to reconnect just before Sunny had to move away, and Basil sometimes expresses his sadness over not being able to be with Sunny in person.
Outside of their heavier conversations, the two usually just exchange small talk, simply happy with each other’s virtual company. They’ll recommend each other books, shows, games, etc. that they feel the other would like, and will sometimes go on for hours back and forth discussing ones they both get interested in. Basil also likes to send Sunny updates about the plants he’s growing, sending pictures of them. He also keeps Sunny updated on every little thing when he hangs out with their other friends and sends pictures, wanting Sunny to still feel included despite being far away. Sunny also likes to send Basil pictures of interesting plants he finds around his new house. Usually, Basil recognizes the plant and spends the next 20 minutes telling Sunny everything he knows about it before being worried that he’s boring Sunny. In reality, Sunny loves reading or listening to Basil go on and on about plants despite not understanding a lot of it. He can’t help but smile a little at his phone when Basil gets excited about these things.
Eventually, Basil starts using his camera again, though sparingly. He mails Sunny all of his favorite pictures, often ones he took of their friends, since he insisted Sunny keep his memory book. Sunny keeps the pictures safe in an envelope until he and Basil can hang out in person, not wanting to put them in the memory book without Basil. Whenever the two do finally get to spend time together, poor Sunny has to deal with Basil making up for lost time, snapping pictures left and right. If Basil knows Sunny is coming to visit or plans to visit him, he makes sure to stock up on plenty of film. He also goes to great lengths to maintain the camera Mari gave him. Polly probably offers to buy Basil a new, updated camera when she sees that Basil has gotten back into photography, but he declines because this camera is special.
Over time, Basil does open up to Polly a little more, but while he deeply appreciates her, he never can fully shake the awkwardness and anxiety he feels around his caretaker. She was originally hired to care for his grandmother, and now his absent parents have stuck her with him. He sometimes talks about these feelings with Sunny, and the two eventually come up with the idea of Basil coming to stay with him and his mom for awhile. Neither of them really expect it to work out how they hope, but much to Sunny’s surprise, his mom agrees.
In fact, Sunny’s mom is delighted having someone else around. Ever since losing Mari and her husband, the house felt too quiet and empty, plus this meant Sunny had someone to keep him company while she wasn’t home, something that always worried her. Basil even helps her start a garden, bonding over it while Sunny sits in the shade and watches, every now and then helping them carry tools supplies.
This house is smaller than the one Sunny lived in before, as is his room which he now shares with Basil, but they make it work. Rather than divide the room, the two share it equally and sleep in bunk beds. They have a lot of common interests, so this doesn’t really cause any issues. Sharing a room with someone again is comforting to Sunny, reminding him of when he used to share his with Mari. Basil grew up an only child who never had to share a room, so it takes some time to adjust, but he finds he sleeps better at night having someone else in the same room. Any time Sunny comes back to their room after being out helping his mom with errands, there always seems to be exactly one more plant there to welcome him back. Sunny learns to accept and embrace the plants slowly taking over the room. After all, he’s the one who keeps encouraging it any time Basil starts to wonder if he’s brought home too many plants.
Due to her home life, Aubrey was the first among the group of friends to get her driver’s license and worked hard to get a car so that she could get away whenever she needed. As soon as she was able, she would drive to visit Sunny and Basil often, sometimes by herself, but usually bringing Kel with her. Hero would of course accompany them if he wasn’t away for college, but more often then not, it was just the two of them. Finally, Kel and Aubrey announce to the other two that they’ve started dating. Sunny and Basil congratulate them, but Basil is immediately worried about how Sunny feels about it, believing that Sunny had feelings for Aubrey and worried it could cause tension. When he later brings it up to Sunny, Sunny chuckles and reassures Basil that he hasn’t liked Aubrey that way since they were twelve, and even then it was a small crush. Truthfully, he’d always imagined Kel and Aubrey might end up together and was happy for them. Basil is relieved to hear this because it means their friendship with Kel and Aubrey won’t become strained, but for some reason he feels even more relief simply knowing Sunny doesn’t have feelings for Aubrey.
Now that they’ve moved past the trauma that for four years stunted their mental growth, they have healthier mindsets and can finally start growing as people. Basil finally starts focusing on his own personal growth and feelings and trying to figure himself out. The more time Basil and Sunny spend together, the more it finally starts to dawn on Basil that his feelings for Sunny could actually be something more, and maybe always have been. He’s too nervous to confront Sunny about this directly and starts trying to think of ways to express how he really feels in his own ways, often using flower language.
Unfortunately, Sunny is oblivious. Though he too has been working on his personal growth, he still hasn’t given much thought to these kinds of things, so at first all of Basil’s attempts to express his feelings go right over Sunny’s head. Finally, after months of Basil trying to flirt or confess in every indirect way he can think of, Sunny starts to notice Basil is acting weird, though he still can’t figure out why. Aubrey is probably the first to pick up on Basil’s feelings, and thinking back isn’t the least bit surprised. She tries to help him come up with ways to get Sunny to realize how he feels. She frequently gets frustrated both with Basil for not just telling him directly and with Sunny for being so dense. Kel, also being useless when it comes to picking up on these kinds of things, finds out on accident through Aubrey and is surprised at first, but thinking back, it made sense. He’s sworn to secrecy by Aubrey and Basil, though keeping the secret is hard for him. Hero gets brought into the loop shortly after and, being the oldest, tries to give Basil grownup advice, though it’s not very helpful in the end.
Basil finally has enough of being subtle and blurts it out one day. Sunny’s surprised and unsure how to respond, although it does explain why Basil started acting strangely. After giving it a little more thought, Sunny accepts and eventually reciprocates Basil’s feelings. It still takes time before the two finally start formally acknowledging themselves as a couple, but they’re content going at whatever pace the other is comfortable with, however slow it may be. Aubrey, Kel, and Hero are of course the first people they come out to, though much to Sunny’s surprised, they’re not surprised in the slightest. Sunny feels a bit embarrassed upon learning that everyone else already knew about Basil’s feelings as a couple of them tease him for taking so long to realize. Sunny’s mom picks up on it before they finally tell her. She has some mixed feelings at first, but she’s ultimately very supportive and happy to see her son happy, and she already considered Basil part of the family.
Sunny ends up getting a job at a library. It doesn’t pay much, but he enjoys the peace and quiet, and right now it’s enough. Basil gets a part-time job in a garden center and starts a freelance photography business on the side which Sunny helps him manage. Sunny does eventually start playing the violin again, but he keeps it strictly as a hobby, not wanting to stress himself out over it like he had in the past.

Adventure Comic Herb in a nutshell.
The Adventure comics are a complete trashfire and an awful problematic mess for many many reasons. Which is honestly really a shame because Herb being an insufferable jackass soul-sucking wizard scion who likes plants more than people getting stuck babysitting a bunch of shitty kids and fighting demons with them is a hilarious concept. Too bad it got wasted in the most poorly written series.

i hope this doesn’t sound really weird but i feel really bad for the lady who came up with gender reveal parties. she had a very legitimate reason for throwing herself one–she’d had a few miscarriages, all of them miscarrying before she was able to find out the sex of her baby and due to really wanting to have children she was distraught, so when her pregnancy made it to the milestone of being able to find out her baby’s sex, she was understandably incredibly excited and threw a party to celebrate it. honestly she had every right to do so and was more celebrating the fact that she’d carried her baby to that point rather than celebrating if it was a girl or a boy
and now she’s the inventor of this horrible thing that makes stupid people cause wildfires. all this lady wanted to do was have some cake and celebrate her pregnancy after a few miscarriages. i feel fucking terrible for her.
