So I finished the spoon a couple days ago! I’ve been working on a lot of things lately so I didn’t really have time to take pictures of it until after the holiday rush.

I decided to go with a four leaf clover in the handle. My mom is locally famous as the person who can spot a four leaf clover during a brisk walk. For St.Patrick’s day she picks a bunch and turns them in to laminated bookmarks for the kids at the school where she works. A couple years ago she had 3 full classes, went out and picked 100 clovers in an afternoon. No big deal. It was my first time carving something like this and I didn’t really have the tools I needed to do it perfectly, but I think it turned out well enough. Funnily, I got a lot of tools that would have helped make this for christmas. And I gave the spoon to my mom for christmas. Well, the next one will be better 🦊 I’m still happy with it.

It’s charmed to bring her general luck and patients.

So that’s the conclusion of this project. Like I said, I’ve got lots more in the works, and more that I got done recently that I’ll be posting soon.
